Hypercholesterolemia is a condition where the concentration of cholesterol in the blood increases beyond normal values. One of the plants recommended for consumption by cholesterol sufferers is bay leaves. This is because bay leaves contain various active compounds such as flavonoids which can prevent the oxidation of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and prevent the deposition of fat on blood vessel walls. Saponins can prevent fat absorption, increase excretion in the urine so that fat does not accumulate. This case study aims to provide an overview of implementing the provision of bay leaf boiled water in reducing cholesterol levels in Mrs. R at the health center often in Sidorejo sub-district, Medan Tembung sub-district. The type of research is descriptive with an observational approach through case studies to obtain an overview of the use of bay leaf boiled water in hypercholesterolemia sufferers. The subjects used in the case studies taken were patients with hypercholesterolemia. The instruments used in data collection were family protection observation sheets and taking action to apply boiled bay leaf water. The results of the research showed that boiled bay leaf water was effective in reducing cholesterol levels as applied by Mrs. R taken twice a day, namely morning and evening for 11 days, resulted in a decrease in cholesterol levels from 263 mg/dl to 187 mg/dl.

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are diseases transmitted through sexual activity, whether vaginal, oral, or anal. However, these infections can also be transmitted outside of sexual contact, such as from mother to child (e.g., during birth or through breastfeeding) or through shared needles among drug users, as well as due to poor hygiene of the reproductive organs (http://dewibest.blogspot.com/2014/11/sap-kespro-pada-remaja.htm). STIs can be caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. STIs are a significant public health issue globally, affecting both developed and developing countries. The actual incidence and prevalence of these infections are not precisely known in various countries (Fauziah Husna, 2020). According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in 2022, the most frequently reported STIs worldwide include syphilis (including congenital syphilis), gonorrhea, chlamydia, chancroid, and HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) (Niforatos, J.D., & Rothman, 2021).

Puskesmas is a functional health organization as well as a center for community health development. The Klender urban health center currently uses an online registration system and offline registration. This study aims to determine the online and offline outpatient registration system at the Klender Village Community Health Center in 2023. This research is a qualitative research. In this study, researchers directly observed the process of outpatient registration. Retrieval of research data is done by observation and interviews with registration officers. The results of the study found that online registration uses the Jaksehat application, patients do not need to come to the health center to register, patients come to the health center to validate queue numbers to the polyclinic only. Calling patients who register online is prioritized with a system of calling queue numbers 1-5, 11-15 and so on. Offline registration is done by having patients come directly to the puskesmas and queue to register. For calling patients, register offline after patients register online with queue numbers 6-10, 16-15, etc. The problems found in registration were the separate queues for patients who registered online and offline and there was a mismatch in calling patients according to the serial number of the queue. The conclusion in this study is that online registration of outpatients uses the Jaksehat application and offline registration is carried out using the system used by the puskesmas. It is expected that the puskesmas will separate the queues of patients who have registered online with patients who have registered offline.
