Infancy is a golden period for a child's growth and development so it needs special attention. One of the factors that influences a baby's growth and development is sleep and rest. The need for sleep is not only seen from the quantity aspect but also the quality. With good quality sleep, the baby's growth and development can be achieved optimally. One way that can be used to fulfill these needs is baby massage. Baby massage is a gentle stroking or massaging therapy for babies, this is stimulation through tactile stimulation, gentle massage approaching soft and gentle massage on the surface of the baby's skin gently, on the tissues and organs of the body. Baby massage is useful for increasing the baby's concentration and making the baby sleep soundly, to increase the baby's growth and weight, increase the body's endurance, build bonds of love between parents and children and improve blood circulation and breathing. A baby's weight is influenced by heredity, nutrition, environment, gender and social status. Body weight is an anthropometric indicator for assessing growth in babies or children. Balanced nutrition and basic health care in the form of immunizations. Regular massage for babies can increase the baby's weight and the length of time the baby sleeps. This happens when the baby is massaged and the baby feels relaxed so it is easy for the baby to sleep. The initial survey was conducted through direct interviews with AsyfAlesha Mom n' Baby Care, which opened a baby massage practice. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the effectiveness of baby massage on weight gain and baby sleep quality at AsyfAlesha Mom n' Baby Care, whether its implementation is effective in supporting weight gain and baby sleep quality to prevent stunting in babies.

Stunting is a condition in which a child's weight and height are significantly below that of their peers of the same age, and it becomes noticeable when a child reaches the age of two. Stunting can be attributed to several interconnected factors such as genetics, economic conditions, household circumstances, parenting styles, insufficient nutritional intake, limited access to healthcare services, clean water scarcity, and inadequate sanitation. Stunting remains a paramount issue in terms of nutrition and health in Indonesia, including in the Riau region. Rambah Sambo sub-district is one of the seven sub-districts in Rokan Hulu Regency that has villages with a stunting locus status, and one of them is Karya Mulya Village. To shed light on the reality of stunting in the Riau Province, the University of Riau 2023 Community Service (Kukerta) Team in Karya Mulya Village will conduct observations and interviews with the local community to gauge their understanding and knowledge regarding this stunting issue. Most community members or parents with stunted children generally do not comprehend the meaning of stunting itself. However, based on observations, the knowledge of Karya Mulya Village residents about stunting falls into the "adequate" category, leaving them to speculate about it. Some respondents refer to stunting as malnutrition and prefer to describe it as a lack of height. Some of the Karya Mulya Village residents have grasped the consequences or effects of stunting on a child's future. The majority of the community agrees that stunting can disrupt a child's mental health. In preventing and reducing stunting cases, Karya Mulya Village faces several challenges. The first is changing community behaviors, and the second pertains to improving nutrition and food, as there are still community members who do not provide high-protein and nutritious food to their children.

Abortion can endanger the mother's health because it can cause bleeding, uterine perforation, infection and shock. Bleeding occurs due to not yet releasing all the products of conception from the endometrial wall, so that the blood vessels are always open to empty the uterus of the remaining products of conception. The next consequence of abortion is perforation, perforation occurs when scraping/curettage, if this happens it is necessary to carry out a laparotomy according to the extent of the perforation. Infection can occur due to the accumulation of dead and rotting products of conception in the body, causing infection, shock, can occur in cases of abortion due to severe infection or profuse bleeding. The incidence of abortion in Indonesia in 2012 was 4%. The aim is to determine the relationship between gestational age and distance with the incidence of abortion in 2023. termination of the pregnancy process before the gestational age is less than 28 weeks (Manuaba, 2010). Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy through any means, spontaneous or artificial, before the fetus is able to survive with limitations based on gestational age and body weight. Pregnancy is a period when pregnant women experience physiological and psychological changes. Physical changes that occur during pregnancy can cause complaints or discomfort during pregnancy, which include physical discomfort during pregnancy including back pain, low back pain, difficulty sleeping at night/insomnia, and leg cramps. Meanwhile, psychological discomfort that can occur in pregnant women is anxiety and fear of facing the birth process. Anxiety is one of the psychological changes in the third trimester because it is getting closer to the birth process. Resulting in excessive anxiety during pregnancy can trigger abortion, premature birth, low birth weight, fetal defects, fetal growth retardation, and postpartum depression. Three out of five third trimester pregnant women who were encountered experienced anxiety approaching labor, namely sleep disturbances. Practicing yoga during pregnancy is a useful solution as a self-help medium that will reduce discomfort during pregnancy and help with the birthing process. When pregnancy enters the third trimester, the mother will experience increasingly serious and intense anxiety in dealing with the birth process.
