One of the most important problems to be addressed is the low achievement of students in mathematics. This needs to be addressed immediately considering that mathematics is the science most often used in the world of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of additional hours of mathematics lessons on improving mathematics learning achievement of class XII MIPA students. This research is categorized as evaluation research using the CIPP model (context, input, process, and product). The population studied was all students of class XII MIPA MAN 3 Bantul in the 2016/2017 academic year, totaling 64 people. The condition before the learning process was carried out with the addition of study hours obtained an average value of 34.10 while after the addition of hours the acquisition increased to 44.16 or an increase of 29.50%. The results of the t-test analysis showed that there were significant differences in the results of learning mathematics before additional hours were added.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif matematika pada materi lingkaran kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D), dan model yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan 4-D, namun pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap 3-D saja yang meliputi: tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), dan tahap pengembangan media (develop). Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas ahli media oleh dosen dan uji validitas ahli materi oleh guru Matematika dengan menggunakan skala likert dan prosentase validasi. Hasil validasi ahli media didapatkan rata-rata nilai validasi sebesar 3,71 dan prosentase validasi sebesar 92,74, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli materi didapatkan rata-rata nilai validasi sebesar 3,87 dan prosentasi validasi sebesar 96,7. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul interaktif berbasis AR matematika pada materi geometri untuk kelas VIII teruji kevalidan dan kelayakannya.

Rapid technological advances make print communication media begin to be shifted by information media that utilizes computer technology as a means of delivery. Technological developments change the teacher's task from being a teacher to a facilitator who provides convenience in learning. SD Negeri 004 Bangsal Aceh is one of the schools that still applies the mathematics learning process using textbooks so that students do not understand the lesson. Teachers are required to make changes in teaching patterns in the classroom, one of which is with animated videos. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method covering concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing and distribution. The final result of this research is an animated video of mathematics learning about the material of flat shapes. Animated videos are used as an interesting and effective means of information and learning media. Besides that, it can also improve students' understanding and skills in learning mathematics, especially the material of flat shapes

Mathematics is an applicable science and very close to human life, so mathematics is very important to learn from elementary school. However, the mathematics competence of elementary school students in Indonesia is relatively low. One of them is SD IT Cahaya Ummat which is located in Karangjati, Kecamatan Bergas, Kabupaten Semarang, the grade 6 students' average mathematics score is lower than other subjects. So far, learning is still conventional in nature with learning resources in the form of printed books, thus it is necessary to have learning innovations to increase students' interest in learning mathematics.The design of interactive media as a learning aid can be a solution to attract students' attention to be more focused when the teacher explains math material in class. When students feel interested and focused on learning, learning will be more effective so that students' understanding of the material presented by the teacher will also increase.Interactive learning media made with Adobe Flash CS5.5 to combine text, images, sound, and animation will make the application more attractive, so that students are more interested in learning mathematics with statistics material. The results of the validation score obtained from media experts are 34, material experts 39, and users 35, so this learning media product is classified as a very good category, so it is valid to be used.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning creativity and emotional intelligence on economic mathematics learning achievement of students at Stie Ganesah Jakarta. This research is a quantitative survey research with a correlation approach. The respondents in this study were first semester students of the STIE Ganesha Economics study program. The data were obtained by giving the students' learning creativity and emotional intelligence questionnaires. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.011 <0.05 and t count = 2.696. The magnitude of the correlation number is 0.389 with a determination of 0.151. This means that the magnitude of the relationship between X1 and X2 variables to Y is 0.389 with a medium category. The magnitude of the effect of X1, X2 on Y is 15.1% where the variables of learning creativity and emotional intelligence together affect the variable of student achievement in mathematics economics by 15.1% while the rest is influenced by other variables.

Pembelajaran bahasa Asing (Inggris) bagi tenaga pendidik untuk mengajarkan mata pelajaran Science dan Mathematics merupakan wujud dari gagasan bahwa penguasaan kedua mata pelajaran tersebut apabila ditunjang dengan ketrampilan bahasa Inggris maka akan menghasilkan luaran yang lebih bermutu dan poin tersendiri sebab bagi pendidik maupun peserta didik, bahasa Inggris tidak hanya di level social settings namun juga pada tataran academic language proficiency. Sekolah Dasar Djama’atul Ikhwan Program Khusus memiliki keunggulan dalam bidang penggunaan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam pembelajaran Science dan Mathematics. Hal tersebut mempersyaratkan tenaga pendidik mapel tersebut untuk memiliki kompetensi keahlian berbahasa Inggris baik dalam tataran pedagogik maupun linguistik. Namun, implementasi program tersebut belum terlaksana sesuai dengan target sebab tenaga pendidik belum memiliki pengalaman maupun keahlian berbahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Dari penjelasan tersebut, pemateri melaksanakan pengabdian “Workshop English Instructional Language Bagi Guru Sekolah Dasar Djama’atul Ichwan Surakarta” yang menyasar pada ketrampilan English Instructional Language para guru. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penguasaan English Instructional Language guru SD Djama’atul Ichwan, dan menentukan model bahan ajar serta metode pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan English Instructional language para guru. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah (1) guru SD Djama’atul Ichwan merasa antusias dan termotivasi untuk mempelajari bahasa bahasa Inggris dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menyampaikan materi berbahasa Inggris; (2) mereka terbuka dalam menyampaikan permasalahan dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris sehingga pemateri dapat memberikan alternatif solusi; dan (3) terwujudnya sharing ide dan pengalaman dalam berbahasa Inggris baik khususnya academic English proficiency.Kata Kunci: Science dan Mathematics, English Instructional Language, SD Djama’atul Ichwan

Financial literacy is one of the needs for everyone in order to manage their personal finance.Person's ability to read, analyze, manage financial condition in making financial decisions can be made ​​to avoid financial problems. This study aims to determine whether factors such as gender, faculty, and grade point average (GPA) effect on student financial literacy. This research surveys 333 college students of Economics and Business Faculty also Science and Mathematics Faculty of Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) to examine their personal financial literacy based on gender, faculty and Grade Point Average (GPA).Binary logistic used to analyze the data.Results of this study indicate that financial literacy is influenced by faculty, whereas gender and GPA does not affect financial literacy. This study is expected to support the science of personal finance is still relatively rare compared to research in the field of corporate finance and capital markets.. Matematika secara garis besar dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu matematika terapan (applied mathematics) dan matematika murni (pure mathematics). Matematika terapan mempunyai pengertian bahwa matematika digunakan diluar matematika. Matematika terapan berperan dan membantu menyelesaikan masalah-masalah di dunia nyata yang akan diselesaikan dalam sistemnya dan memenuhi kebutuhan ilmu-ilmu dalam pengembangannya. Banyak ilmuwan yang mengkaji matematika untuk dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang lain. Sedangkan matematika murni berperan sebagai ratu yang mempercantik dirinya melalui rancangan-rancangan definisi, teorema yang terstruktur secara sistematis. Teori Aljabar Linier  merupakan cabang dari matematika terapan. Aljabar Linier mempunyai penerapan pada berbagai bidang ilmu alam dan ilmu sosial serta teknologi khususnya teknologi Informasi dan komunikasi (infokom) yang saat ini sedang berkembang pesat.
