This study aims to identify effective methods that parents can use to help young children develop reading skills. Through a literature review and case studies, this research presents various strategies for parents, such as selecting books that match the child’s interests, creating an enjoyable reading environment, and providing positive feedback. The findings are intended to serve as a guide for parents in creating an optimal learning environment for their children. Reading ability is a crucial foundation for cognitive development in children. This study examines the critical role of parents in facilitating the development of reading skills in young children. By reviewing literature, the study highlights various activities that parents can engage in, such as reading together, providing engaging books, and creating a supportive environment for fostering a child’s interest in reading. The findings indicate that active parental involvement in reading activities from an early age has a significant positive impact on improving reading skills, comprehension, and a child's love for books.

This article dsiscusses the importance of parental assistance in the process of learning to read for grade 1 students at SD KARANGUNTUNG VILLAGE. Parental involvement at home plays a very important role in building a strong early literacy foundation for children. Through effective assistance, students will more easily understand reading learning material, improve their literacy skills, and increase their confidence in communicating. This research aims to understand the role of parents in supporting children's learning to read at home and to provide practical recommendations for parents in carrying out this role. The methods used in this article are literature studies and field observations which provide a real picture of the positive impact of parental assistance

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  role  of  parents  in  online  learning  on children's cognitive abilities, inhibiting and supporting factors experienced by parents at SDN 1.2 Pangelak. Through this study, it is hoped that parents can realize how important  parental  involvement  in  online  learning  towards  children's  cognitive abilities in Catholic Religious Education subjects during the covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on May at SDN 1.2 Pangelak. The informants are 14 people consisting of the Principal, 1 Catholic Religion Teacher, 6 parents and 6 students. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.

Pandemi covid-19 telah memaksa pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan cara berbeda. Siswa harus belajar dari rumah, sementara Sekolah dan guru harus menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Demikian pula orang tua harus berperan aktif melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah. Untuk itu, penulis melakukan penelitian terdahap upaya sekolah dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika upaya TK Isa Almasih mewujudkan kegiatan belajar pada masa pandemi covid-19 adalah 1) Merancang pembelajaran yang menstimulus siswa belajar sesuai dengan tema belajar dan efisien secara ekonomi; 2) Bekerjasama dengan orang tua murid dengan mengadakan pertemuan terbatas membahas perkembangan siswa; 3) Menggunakan sosial media untuk  menyampaikan informasi yang berkaitan dengan bahan ajar dan pemberitahuan hasil belajar murid. Sementara bentuk keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran dari rumah yaitu 1) Menjadi penuntun anak dalam belajar dari rumah; 2) Orang tua berperan menjadi operator. AbstractThe Covid-19 pandemic has forced learning to be carried out in a different way. Students must learn from home, while schools and teachers must organize effective learning. Likewise, parents must play an active role in carrying out learning from home. For this reason, the authors conducted research on school efforts and the involvement of parents in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews. The results showed that the efforts of Isa Almasih Kindergarten to realize learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic were 1) Designing learning that stimulates students to learn according to the learning theme and is economically efficient; 2) Collaborating with the parents by holding a limited meeting to discuss student development; 3) Using social media to convey information related to teaching materials and notification of student learning outcomes. While the forms of parental involvement in learning from home are 1) Being a guide for children in learning from home; 2) Parents act as operators.

Pada ranah pendidikan, setiap sekolah mengharapkan memiliki sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas sesuai dengan bidang yang diampu. Kemampuan setiap pendidik tentunya berbeda-beda hal tersebut menarik untuk dikaji, khususnya di MI Kalifah Nusantara Denpasar. Peserta didik di MI tersebut sudah kuliafied dan mampu membimbing dan membina siswa-siswanya, namun masih terdapat beberapa siswa kurang aktif dan menurun dalam hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, melalui kajian peran pendidik diharapkan dapat diketahui dan dijabarkan secara deskriftif kualitatif melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sehingga melalui analisis data berdasarkan teori-teori dan kajian terdahulu, diketahui bahwa peran pendidik sangat penting terhadap motivasi siswa melalui peningkatan kemampuan dan kinerja pendidik dengan mengikuti pelatihan, workshop, konseling siswa, dan pendekatan terhadap orangtua siswa.   AbstractIn the scope of education, every school expects to have quality human resources in accordance with the field being taught. The ability of each educator is certainly different, this is interesting to study, especially at MI Kalifah Nusantara Denpasar. The students are already educated and able to guide and nurture their students at MI, but there are some students who are less active and decline in student learning outcomes. Based on these conditions, aim of study in the role of educators, it is expected to be known and described in a qualitative descriptive manner through interviews and documentation. The data analysis based on theories and previous studies, it is known that the role of educators is very important to student motivation through improving the ability and performance of educators by participating in training, workshops, student counseling, and approaches to parents.

The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in Indonesia in 2007 was 34 per 1000 live births, decreased in 2012 to 32 per 1000 live births. One of the causes of Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is incomplete basic immunization. The role of parents, especially maternal knowledge, is one of the factors in achieving complete basic immunization coverage rates. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about immunization and the completeness of immunization in babies aged 0-14 months in Talaka Village, Kab. Ma'rang, using analytical observation methods with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were mothers who had babies aged 0-14 months and . The sample was selected using a simple purpose sampling technique with a sample size of 62 respondents, data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi squere test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about immunization and the completeness of immunization in babies aged 0-14 months In Talaka Village, Kab. Ma'rang with p value = 0.002.

Early childhood development has an important role in the development of an individual. In order for a child to have good development, it is necessary to carry out early detection of the child's growth and development with the aim of achieving optimization of a child's development. Data shows an increase in the prevalence of parents who do not regularly monitor their children's growth and development. Monitoring the growth and development of toddlers is carried out in conjunction with early detection of developmental disorders in toddlers so that intervention and simulation can provide optimal results. This community service activity aims to determine children's developmental growth and deviations that occur as well as providing education to parents, especially about the growth and development of pre-school children and the factors that support children's growth and development. The target of the activity is pre-school children and mothers/parents of Prima Bhakti Kindergarten students. The method used in the activity is the KPSP child growth and development detection instrument and to increase parents' knowledge about growth and development, it is carried out through counseling, question and answer discussions and demonstrations on how to stimulate children's growth and development. The results of early detection of growth assessment using the WHO curve showed that 95% had normal stature and normal nutrition and 5% were malnourished. Examination of children's development with the KPSP instrument was 100% developmentally appropriate. The education provided to parents shows that they are active participants in question and answer discussion activities and demonstrations of growth and development stimulation.

The world of education in indonesia is currently experiencing a change in services due to the covid 19 pandemic and is required to make changes to the way of teaching, and other administrative services in the context of the indonesia education world, the massive changes in services resulting from the impact of the covid 19 pandemic have greatly disturbed students, teachers and parents. They are required to make changes to the way of teaching and learning and guide quickly and accurately.The role of the teacher is now very important because the learning prosess cannot be faceto-face anymore. The teacher must really do everything possible so that students can understand the material presented online.This study aims to determine:( 1) the role of teachers in improving PAI learning outcomes during the covid 19 pandemi at SD No. 1 Seminyak for the 2019/2020 school year, (2) learning outcomes during the covid 19 pandemi at SD No. 1 Seminyak 2019/2020 academic year, (3) inhibiting and supporting factors in the implementation of online learning in Islamic education subjects during the covid 19 pandemic at SD No. 1 Seminyak in the school year 2019/2020.This type of research is descriptive kwalitatif, the informan is determined by purposive method, while the key informants are the principel, religion teacher, home room teacher, students, student guardians and the data committee is analyzed by data reconstruction stages, data presentation, and verification conclusion.The results showed; (1) teachers are require to play a deeper role in online learning during the covid 19 pandemi, the online learning process delivered material through learning videos in the whatsap grop, make google absences from monitoring students to memorize short surahs via whatsapp or video calls to provide motivation and encouragement to students. (2) Pai's study results during the covid-19 pandemic are less than maximal because teachers cannot monitor students directly and many obstacles in online learning. (3) supporting factors in the implementation of online learning, namely, the availability of mobile quota and internet networks. While the inhibiting factor in online learning, namely, aconomi limitations, internet network is sometimes not as stable.

However, it seems that the teacher’s academic qualifications have not been able to maximize the student’s learning achievement. This is evidenced by a decrease in learning achievement. The purpose of this research is to know qualifications teachers in improving student learning achievement and the inhibitory and supporting factors faced by teachers in improving student learning achievement at MI Kalifa Nusantara Years lesson 2019/2020. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a qualitative interpretive method. Determination of the informant was done by purposive sampling. The data collection techniques was by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that, the role of teacher qualifications is improving learning achievement is determined by academic and non-academic qualifications, learning planning qualifications, learning process qualifications, personality qualifications, and learning process results through evaluation. While the supporting factors of learning achievement internally are student intelligence, internal motivation, as well as interests and talents. The external support factors are parental motivation, adequate facilities, out-of-school tutoring, and teacher rewarding. The inhibitory factor of learning achievement consists of internal factors, namely lack of motivation and interest in learning. Meanwhile, the external factor is the lack of attention from parents, students not taking additional lessons outside of school, and less supportive facilities.

Family becomes the smallest social unit in a society. The socialization process was first carried outin the family. Educate children to get to know children and how to treat children according to theirneeds and development. By recognizing and understanding their children, parents as educators inthe family will be able to increase their potential as optimally as possible, especially in formingpositive behaviors. Behavior is any form of action taken or planned. While positive behavior is anaction that is in accordance with the character, culture, norms and noble values in the community.In order for children to grow and develop optimally, the family or parents need to increase theirrole. Along with the times and the assimilation of culture in the era of globalization of positivebehavior in children such as manners, tolerance, caring for others and respect for others isincreasingly lost. The effort that can be taken to develop positive behavior of children in the familyenvironment is through a behavioral approach.The target of service is the Beneficiary Family(KPM) of the Hope Family Program in Wonosegoro District. The purpose of this communityservice activity is to provide training methods in enhancing family roles to foster positive behaviorthrough a behavioral approach. The method used in this community service is the behaviorismapproach in increasing family roles to form positive behavior. In this behavior approach usesseveral techniques, namely modeling techniques, reinforcement techniques and Asertive trainingtechniques. The implementation of community service carried out with seminars and trainingthrough lectures, discussions and brainstorming, questions and answers, and direct practice. Theimplementation of the behavioral approach training as an effort to improve the family's role informing positive behavior was Carried out in four meetings. The title of this devotion is "Tutoring to overcome learning difficulties" the guidance of learning is part of the guidance and counseling that has the purpose of guiding the child in order to achieve optimum learning achievement (according to his ability), especially for children who have learning difficulties or those whose value is ugly even though the IQ is not low. Parents and teachers are expected to be mentors for children who like it. However, not all parents and teachers can become mentors to children who are having difficulty learning it well. They need to know what they can do to overcome / guide the child in order to perform optimally. To overcome this it is necessary to have additional knowledge and understanding of learning guidance. The target audience in this devotion program is Non-Productive Society of teachers and parents of kindergarten Lakshmi 7 Surakarta. They need to be given additional knowledge because the kindergarten teacher Lakshmi 7 does not have S1 background but Lakshmi 7 kindergarten teacher only from SMK, so the knowledge about guidance and counseling that should be given to the child is not found in school and not understood at all. so also with the parents of students who only average background of high school graduates they also understand the Guidance and Counseling that should be given also for Children. So that both at school and home children do not get guidance as it should be. While the method used in this devotion is Lecture / counseling and discussion and training. In this case, counseling is deemed best suited to increase their knowledge and understanding of counseling and guidance for children. As the evaluation is used questionnaires and discussions to explore their implementation in the field after counseling. The results of this dedication of parents and teachers to understand the importance of tutoring for children overcome learning difficulties. While the results of training as a guide in learning obtained 77.8% (21 Parents and teachers) can carry out its role as a mentor learning for children. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the devotion of learning guidance to overcome learning difficulties in parents and teachers Kindergarten Lakshmi 7 Turisari Surakarta successful. This can be evidenced from the results of the training that was attended by 27 people already able to be a mentor of 21 people.Keywords: Counseling, Guidance learn to overcome learning difficulties, teachers and parents.
