Tantangan utama yang dihadapi warga Kelurahan Pesantren, Kota Semarang adalah belum optimalnya pengelolaan limbah lingkungan rumah tangga, khususnya minyak jelantah, yang berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran dan masih kurang dimanfaatkan secara ekonomi. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, keterampilan kewirausahaan, dan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat dengan inovasi ekonomi kreatif. Tahapan pelaksanaannya meliputi observasi dan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan program partisipatif, pelaksanaan lokakarya, pendampingan, dan evaluasi keberlanjutan. Kegiatan program terdiri dari pendidikan kewirausahaan, pelatihan langsung pengolahan minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi, dan peningkatan kapasitas dalam pembuatan konten digital dan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan pasar online. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan minat berwirausaha di kalangan ibu-ibu PKK, yaitu meningkat dari 40% sebelum program menjadi 80% setelah lokakarya. Secara keseluruhan, program ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan pengelolaan sampah ramah lingkungan dan mendukung pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis lokal.

The use of natural face masks is one of the safe, affordable, and relatively non-invasive treatment alternatives without long-term side effects. The bandotan plant (Ageratum conyzoides L.) is a weed that grows wild in the Cemani Village area, Sukoharjo Regency. Although often considered worthless, this plant actually contains active compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins that have the potential to be antioxidants. Therefore, this service activity aims to provide counseling and training to the people of Cemani Village regarding the manufacture of face masks made from bandotan plants. This program is carried out with several procedural stages, starting from the interpretation of problems on the land, followed by the preparation of the timeline for the implementation of activities, then counseling and ending with a workshop session on the procedure for making antiaging masks for bandotan herbs. The program ended with an assessment of the evaluation of the activities. This activity was attended by 20 participants of the Cemani village PKK mobilization team. Based on the pretest and posttest scores, there was an increase in public knowledge about the program carried out with an average of 80 pretests and an increase in the average percentage of posttest scores up to 95.83. In the assessment of the questionnaire, public satisfaction with the implementation of the activity was classified as very satisfied with a score of 92.67.

Kali Baru Lake is a community-based pilot tourism destination in Bekasi City managed by the Kali Baru Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis Danau Indah Kalibaru). Preliminary observations indicate that destination management still faces limited human resource capacity, inadequate safety facilities, and the absence of a structured risk management document as a governance instrument. This community service program aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Pokdarwis through assistance in developing a risk management document, tourism safety training, formulation of operational standard operating procedures (SOPs), and enhancement of risk communication. The implementation method applied a participatory approach consisting of initial assessment, training, document development workshops, implementation of safety-supporting facilities, and evaluation. The results show the completion of a risk management document based on hazard identification and mitigation, the establishment of several safety and operational SOPs, the availability of risk communication media, and improved knowledge and skills of Pokdarwis members in managing sustainable tourism destinations. This program contributes to strengthening destination governance professionalism, enhancing tourism safety, and improving the readiness of Kali Baru Lake as a safe and sustainable community-based tourism destination.

This community service program aims to improve the entrepreneurial skills of high school students through the understanding and application of SMART Goal Setting. The activities were carried out in the form of workshops, group discussions, and intensive mentoring for eleventh-grade students. Data were collected through observations, short interviews, participant reflection notes, and documentation of business plans. Analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, emphasizing the participants' experience patterns and behavioral changes after participating in the program. The results showed that students were better able to formulate specific, measurable, realistic, relevant, and time-bound business goals. In addition, participants reported increased self-confidence, regularity in developing business steps, and awareness of the importance of structured planning. These findings confirm the relevance of implementing SMART Goal Setting in high school entrepreneurship education as a practical strategy that can support the emergence of aspiring young entrepreneurs.

The rapid development of the digital era requires human resources to not only master software, but also understand hardware infrastructure. This community service program aims to improve the technical competence and digital literacy of the people of Pati Regency through a PC assembly and optimization workshop. The method used is the Participatory Action Learning Sistem (PALS), in collaboration with "Pati Tech" as an industry partner, and utilizing the campus computer laboratory as a training center. Activities consisted of orientation, planning, and hands-on practice in PC assembly. The results of the community service program showed a significant increase in the technical skills of participants, as reflected in the average pre-test score of 52.5 which increased to 86.4 in the post-test. Participants are now able to assemble and optimize sistem independently. The implication of this activity is the formation of independent digital talents who can manage digital infrastructure, which is expected to support the development of the local creative economy in Pati Regency. This program contributes to improving technological skills relevant to the needs of the digital market.

This Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) aims to develop the communication strategy of Grandma Foundation through a corporate storytelling approach to enhance public awareness of its social programs. The main challenge faced by the foundation is the limited communication strategy, which has predominantly focused on informative reporting and has not yet effectively built emotional engagement with the public. The program employed interactive lectures, storytelling workshops, digital content production simulations, and mentoring and evaluation sessions. The results indicate a significant improvement in the foundation’s internal capacity to produce human-centered, authentic, and impact-oriented narratives. The implementation of corporate storytelling led to more consistent, emotionally engaging, and effective communication content, particularly through digital media. The discussion highlights that storytelling plays a strategic role in building public trust, strengthening organizational identity, and increasing public engagement. This program concludes that corporate storytelling is a relevant and effective communication strategy for nonprofit organizations to expand social impact and ensure the sustainability of their programs.

This community service activity aims to increase women's economic capacity through technical skills training and financial management. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) with stages of socialization, hardskill training (making processed products), and financial literacy workshops (cash management and investment awareness education). The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 45% based on pre-test and post-test scores. Furthermore, participants were able to manufacture products with marketable packaging standards and gained a new understanding regarding the separation of business cash from domestic cash. The conclusion of this activity is that the integration of practical skills and financial intelligence can encourage women's economic independence and create more sustainable family financial resilience.

This community service program aimed to strengthen the digital competencies of junior high school students through a structured workshop on graphic design and photography. The activity was conducted on June 10–11, 2025 at Universitas Ma Chung and involved thirteen students from SMP Insan Amanah accompanied by their teachers. The program was designed based on prior identification of learning needs conducted through coordination with school representatives. The workshop integrated theoretical instruction and hands-on practice covering basic photography concepts such as angle, shot, triangle exposure, and three point lighting, followed by editorial layout training using Canva. Students were guided to edit photographs, arrange layouts, and select appropriate text elements. The results indicated improvements in students’ technical skills, learning engagement, and collaborative behavior. A campus tour conducted at the end of the program provided additional insight into the academic environment of higher education. Overall, the program demonstrated that practice-based learning effectively supports digital skill development among junior high school students.

The era of digitalization demands that the world of education adapt quickly to technological developments. One of the basic skills that elementary school students need to have is the ability to operate a computer, particularly in typing and using word processing applications. Community service research was conducted at the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation 1 Medan with the aim of improving students' digital literacy thru typing training using Microsoft Word and the interactive media 10fastfingers.com. The training method is conducted using a workshop model, which consists of two main topics. The first material is a basic introduction to typing using the ASDF;LKJ pattern and the use of important keyboard keys. The second material is an introduction to basic Microsoft Word features, such as changing font type and size, using Bold, Italic, Underline, changing text color, and highlighting. Additionally, students are trained to use 10fastfingers.com to interactively improve their typing speed and accuracy. The research instruments are pretest-posttest, observation, and student response questionnaires. The research results show a significant improvement in typing skills. Average speed increased from 8–10 words per minute to 20–25 words per minute, with over 85% accuracy. Student responses were also very positive; they felt more confident, more motivated, and able to use Microsoft Word more effectively. This training program has proven effective in improving digital literacy among elementary school students while also fostering an interest in technology-based learning.

This community service activity aims to improve the effectiveness of Batikayudewi MSME digital promotion by maximizing the use of Instagram as the main marketing platform. Initial observations show that although MSMEs have been regularly uploading content every day, the promotion of workshop packages as the main product has not been running well. Through a series of activities including observation, interviews, guidance in content creation, and improvements to the publication strategy, the PKM team helped improve the quality and consistency of promotional materials. The results of these activities showed an increase in the number of followers, viewers, and positive interactions on both Instagram accounts, both the main account and the supporting account created during the program. In addition to improvements on social media, business owners also gained a deeper understanding of the basic principles of digital marketing, the importance of informative visual content, and consistency in building brand identity. Overall, this community service activity successfully improved the promotional capabilities of MSMEs and strengthened Batikayudewi's readiness to utilize digital media as a sustainable marketing tool.

The need for learning materials that can adapt to students’ abilities and characteristics has made the development of AI-based adaptive learning resources increasingly important in elementary education. However, limited digital literacy and high workloads among teachers hinder optimal implementation. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers at Sekolah Alam Ananda Mandiri Slawi through workshops, guided practice, and hands-on development of AI-supported adaptive materials. The method included preparation, conceptual presentation, technology demonstration, guided practice, pre–post evaluation, and follow-up support. The results showed a significant improvement, with teachers’ competence in the “good” category increasing from 22.5% to 82.5%, and all participants (100%) successfully producing at least one adaptive module and one deep-learning-based material component. Furthermore, 92% of participants reported that the program greatly improved their digital literacy and pedagogical understanding. Thus, this activity effectively strengthened teachers’ competencies and provided a strong foundation for the sustainable integration of AI-based adaptive learning materials in elementary classrooms.

The Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Pamekasan faces major challenges in developing life skills and digital education for its children due to limited facilities, teaching staff, and conventional learning methods. To address these issues, an edutainment-based approach and digital pedagogy intervention were implemented to enhance learning quality, motivation, and preparedness for future social and technological challenges. The activities included workshops and training on Digital Pedagogy and Edutainment learning materials, as well as simulations and role-plays using a Game-Based Learning approach, followed by evaluations and participant plan presentations. The program significantly improved the wards’ digital literacy, particularly in personal security (online safety), digital ethics (cyber ethics), gadget usage, and information management, with the average score rising from 2.84 to 4.10 on a 5-point scale, surpassing the target of 75% of participants in the “good” category. Beyond cognitive aspects, the program also boosted motivation, engagement, communication, problem-solving, and independence. Caregiver training was also provided to ensure program sustainability. It is recommended that the orphanage integrate the Game-Based Learning Digital Safety module into its non-formal curriculum, enhance caregiver capacity through advanced training, and improve IT infrastructure.

The development of digital technology and the demands of 21st-century learning require teachers to implement meaningful and student-centered learning through an immersive learning approach. However, many elementary school teachers still face limitations in understanding the concept of immersive learning and utilizing technology-based learning media, especially three-dimensional (3D) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based media. Therefore, this Field Study activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers and students in implementing immersive learning through the use of 3D-based learning media and AI technology at the UPTD of SD Negeri 155684 Lubuk Tukko 1, Pandan District. The activity was implemented through a four-day workshop involving teachers and students, using an approach of socialization, demonstrations, hands-on practice, discussion, and reflection. The workshop materials covered the concept of immersive learning, the use of 3D-based learning media, gamification of learning through 3D Media applications, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in developing teaching materials and learning media. Evaluation of the activity was conducted through pre- and post-tests, participant observation, and analysis of the resulting learning products. .The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing technology-based immersive learning. Teachers were able to produce interactive learning media, teaching modules, and evaluation questions using 3D media, 3D media, and AI. Furthermore, this activity also increased teachers' motivation, creativity, and awareness of the importance of digital literacy in learning. This Field Study activity made a positive contribution to improving teacher competency and supporting the creation of more innovative, interactive, and relevant learning that reflects the characteristics of 21st-century learners.

The challenges faced by MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya, often revolve around business management, finance, and taxation. One potential solution is the integration of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) with financial and tax strategies, which can help MSMEs streamline their operations. The Business Model Canvas (BMC) training program is designed to assist MSMEs in reorganizing their business models and implementing new strategies that address key operational challenges. This program also incorporates financial and tax considerations, helping MSMEs manage their finances more effectively and comply with tax regulations. With this approach, MSMEs are expected to improve their operational efficiency, enhance tax compliance, and strengthen their competitive edge in the market. The method involves direct engagement with MSMEs through hands-on workshops and personalized mentoring sessions. This initiative is set to take place in May 2025, offering MSMEs valuable tools to enhance their business practices, optimize financial management, and foster long-term growth and success in the market.

Drug abuse and risky social behavior remain significant social issues among adolescents, particularly in rural areas experiencing rapid information exposure and lifestyle changes. This community service program aimed to enhance adolescents’ awareness and resilience toward the dangers of drug abuse (NAPZA) while promoting a healthy lifestyle through the cultivation of family medicinal plants (TOGA) in Karangmalang Village, Ngawi Regency. The program employed a participatory descriptive approach, actively involving adolescents as the primary beneficiaries. The implementation consisted of two main stages: interactive socialization on drug abuse and risky behavior, and a workshop on cultivating medicinal plants as a form of community-based healthy living practice. The results indicated that the socialization activities improved adolescents’ understanding and awareness of drug abuse risks, as reflected in their active participation during discussions. Furthermore, the TOGA cultivation workshop provided practical benefits by introducing simple herbal remedies and offering positive, sustainable activities for the community. Overall, the integration of educational and practical approaches proved effective as a preventive and empowerment strategy to strengthen adolescent resilience and foster a healthier and more productive village environment.

This study aims to analyze the legal review of the criminal act of aggravated theft based on decision number 1261/Pid.B/2025/PN Lbp. The method used is normative juridical law with a case approach. The results of the study indicate that the Panel of Judges at the Lubuk Pakam District Court stated that Wahyu Fahrezgi was legally and convincingly proven to have committed the crime of aggravated theft, as regulated in Article 363 paragraph (1) 3e and 5e of the Criminal Code. This crime was committed twice at night in the victim's workshop by damaging the door and taking many items which caused a loss of Rp. 25,000,000. In his considerations, the judge took into account the aggravating and mitigating elements, then sentenced him to two years in prison and decided to return the evidence to the victim. This study provides an overview of the application of criminal law related to aggravated theft and the judicial process that focuses on victim protection.

This article investigates how Islamic Education teachers implement their professional competence in managing learning at a public Islamic senior secondary school in North Maluku, Indonesia. Teacher competence is understood as a multidimensional construct that includes pedagogical, professional, personal, social, and spiritual dimensions and is expressed through lesson planning, classroom instruction, and learning assessment. Using a qualitative naturalistic design, data were collected through participant observation, in depth interviews with teachers, school leaders, and students, and documentation of lesson plans and institutional records. The findings show that lesson planning is carried out consistently and aligned with the curriculum, but the depth and creativity of plans vary between teachers, with some documents remaining largely administrative. In classroom instruction, teachers demonstrate sincere efforts to create a conducive learning climate, connect Islamic teachings with students daily lives, and encourage participation, although limited use of educational technology, differences in student engagement, and classroom management challenges constrain the consistency of instructional quality. Assessment practices employ diverse techniques to evaluate cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, yet the systematic use of formative and authentic assessment is still uneven due to workload and time pressures. Supporting factors include institutional backing through workshops and subject teacher forums, supportive leadership, adequate facilities, and teacher experience, while inhibiting factors comprise internal limitations in instructional design, external constraints related to technology and student diversity, and structural administrative demands. Overall, the study offers an integrated and context specific picture of how competence in learning management contributes to students understanding, motivation, and religious character.

This community engagement program aims to strengthen the halal value chain of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Hagu Selatan Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City through knowledge transfer based on the Indonesian halal value chain model. MSMEs play a vital role in regional economic development, yet many still face challenges in understanding halal–thayyiban principles, fulfilling certification requirements, managing production processes, and accessing Islamic financing. Limited adoption of digitalization also reduces their competitiveness in the rapidly growing halal industry. The program applies a participatory approach by involving universities, village authorities, and MSMEs. Key activities include needs assessment, training on halal value chain concepts, technical assistance for halal certification documents, workshops on digital business practices, and business clinics on Islamic financing. A Halal Value Chain Learning Circle is also established to support continuous collaboration and knowledge sharing. The program is expected to enhance MSME capacity, improve product quality, expand market access, and contribute to a sustainable halal ecosystem in Aceh.
