Flood disaster is the most frequent disaster in Indonesia. Based on BNPB records throughout 2021, flood disasters have occurred 1,279 times. Poor drainage system can be one of the factors causing flood disasters. Way Mhorock Village, Abepura District is one of the areas that has poor drainage network quality. This is because Way Mhorock Village is one of the centers of community activities, so it has the potential to cause flooding. This study examines the quality of the drainage system against disasters in Abepura District by focusing on Way Mhorock Village. The research methods used to achieve the objectives in this research are qualitative methods, spatial analysis, and analytical hierarchy process. Qualitative descriptive analysis method to assist and describe the actual drainage problems in the field in the form of pictures. Spatial analysis method using GPS by recording problematic drainage points then processed using ArcGIS software. Analytical Hierarchy Process method by capture the perspective of stakeholders from the agency to determine the assessment of the quality level of the drainage system that has the potential to cause flooding in Way Mhorock Village. The results showed that there are 4 problems that affect the quality of drainage in Way Mhorock Village, namely drainage sedimentation, land use change, drainage cross section, and the volume of waste found at 33 points in Way Mhorock Village. Based on the results of the analytical hierarchy process using an expert choice application, drainage sedimentation is the most influential criterion on improving drainage quality with alternative handling provided in the form of law enforcement policies against environmental violations by the community.

Environmental pollution is now a major problem in the development of science. The problem of water pollution is one of the impacts of the development of science itself. The development of environmentally friendly technology for wastewater treatment towards waste-free production is an important step in maintaining environmental sustainability. Household wastewater produced from various sectors has the potential to pollute the environment if not handled properly. The purpose of this community service is to discuss the importance of utilizing environmentally friendly technology in managing household wastewater towards waste-free production. The use of environmentally friendly technology is the main solution in dealing with household wastewater problems, with the potential to create new economic opportunities. To achieve waste-free production, cooperation is needed between the government, industrial sector, academics, and the community. At the household level, at the micro level, it is currently still lacking to meet the need for clean water due to an inadequate waste disposal system. There needs to be design innovation to minimize the impact of environmental water pollution, one of the simple environmentally friendly technologies for treating wastewater is Constructed Wetland (CW) technology. The application of Constructed Wetland (CW) for household wastewater treatment in Cibunut Village, Kebon Pisang Subdistrict, Bandung City using ornamental plants Iris (Iris pseudoacorus), Water Jasmine (Echinodorus palaefolius) and a combination of both for 2 months, showed that the combination of plants was able to reduce COD, TSS and BOD better than single plants, with efficiencies reaching 95%, 94% and 85% respectively.

Sanitation is part of environmental health science which includes the methods and efforts of individuals or communities to control and manage the external environment which is dangerous to health and which can threaten human survival. Meanwhile, basic sanitation is the minimum sanitation required to provide a healthy environment that meets health requirements which focuses on monitoring various environmental factors that influence human health. Basic sanitation efforts include providing clean water, disposal of human waste (latrines), waste management (trash cans) and waste water disposal channels (SPAL). Through a preliminary survey conducted at the Sahabat Yatim Dormitory Orphanage and from interviews conducted by the community service team, it was discovered that several children at the Sahabat Yatim Dormitory orphanage had a fairly high history of dengue fever sufferers and there were still many conditions in the orphanage that did not meet health requirements. Thus, there is still the possibility of problems related to environmental sanitation and eradicating mosquito nests (PSN) at the Pekanbaru Orphanage Friends Dormitory orphanage. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge of children in orphanages about environmental sanitation and eradicating mosquito nests. This community service was carried out at the Sahabat Yatim Dormitory Orphanage on June 29 2022. The method used was health education through group counseling. The result of this community service is to increase the knowledge of children in foster care about environmental sanitation and making compost.

Garbage is a problem that often occurs everywhere. One example is in Tanjungpinang City with various types of waste problems, one of which is plastic waste. For this reason, it needs to be handled seriously. One of the measures that has been carried out by the Tanjungpinang City government regarding the handling of plastic waste is to create a Tanjungpinang Mayor regulation policy no. 14 of 2022 concerning reducing the use of plastic bags. This regulatory policy was implemented on July 7 2022 and the policy of this regulation has been in place for approximately 2 years now. However, the results of implementing this policy regulation are still not as expected, with the data that has been presented in the background proving that every year there is an increase and plastic waste is in second place among the number of types of waste that exist. For this reason, this research aims to evaluate all forms of activities in implementing this policy using a descriptive qualitative approach according to the evaluation theory of Abdulkahar Badjuri & Teguh Yuwono (2002) which consists of 4 indicators, namely: suitability evaluation, effectiveness evaluation, efficiency evaluation and meta evaluation. Based on this theory, this research hopes that in the future this problem can be resolved and that regulatory policies run as expected so as to produce the desired results.

Plastic waste and the limited amount of agricultural land are big problems for the community, especially in rural areas such as Kayuares Hamlet and Ringinanom Village. The aim of this research is to develop a verticulture technique that uses used bottles to optimize the home yard. Tidar University KKN students provided instruction, training and implementation of a verticulture system using used bottles and PVC pipes. The results of the event show that people are more aware of the importance of using yards and managing plastic waste. In addition, a successfully implemented verticulture system increases land use efficiency and produces vegetable harvests that can help family food security by up to 70%. Limited water resources, high initial costs, and ongoing need for assistance are the main problems in implementing this method. The used bottle-based verticulture system allows communities to continue to develop sustainable agricultural methods that are environmentally friendly and economically profitable.

Due to the continuously increasing volume, the difficulty in distinguishing types of waste, and the heightened public awareness of environmental cleanliness, waste is the result of activities that are no longer used in the production process, so stakeholders must have the ability to manage waste effectively. One of the current problems is trash bins; the trash bins currently in use are only designed to transport waste materials without any other purpose.
