This study examines the integrity of general elections through the lens of prophetic journalism. A qualitative approach was employed to explore the perspectives and experiences of institutional administrators, community leaders, and local residents regarding electoral integrity grounded in prophetic journalism. This approach emphasizes the importance of relationships among various actors in the public policy process, including government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. The research was conducted at the East Java Provincial General Election Commission (KPU), with data collected directly by the researcher through observation of words and actions. Data collection was carried out holistically and integratively, focusing on relevance to the study objectives. Data analysis involved systematically searching, organizing, and processing all interview transcripts while ensuring validity through careful verification procedures. The results indicate that electoral integrity can be maintained effectively through a combination of deliberative democracy and prophetic journalism. In this context, the media functions not only as an information distributor but also as a moral agent ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness throughout the electoral process. Campaigns to validate and counter hoax news during elections are most effective when prophetic journalism is integrated with agenda-setting theory, allowing the media to shape public perception through information filtering, digital literacy education, and the delivery of objective and ethical reporting. Prophetic journalism also serves as a social control mechanism, reinforcing transparency and oversight by combining the press’s watchdog function with principles of honesty, responsibility, and wisdom, preventing electoral manipulation and safeguarding democratic integrity.

Financial management in hospitals is a crucial aspect to ensure the sustainability of quality health services. However, the complexity of financial data, which involves various budget components, often creates challenges for hospital management in conducting accurate analysis and budget planning. Therefore, a data-driven approach is required to present financial information in a structured and comprehensible manner. This study examines the application of the K-Means Clustering method to classify hospital financial data based on expenditure characteristics and patterns, with a case study at RSUD Rantau Prapat as part of a community service program. The financial data were analyzed through pre-processing stages, determination of the optimal number of clusters using the Elbow Method, and the implementation of the K-Means algorithm to generate more representative budget groups. The results indicate that clustering hospital financial data into three main categories—routine operational costs, medical service costs, and administrative/personnel costs—provides clearer insights into budget distribution. This supports hospital management in identifying budget allocation priorities, detecting potential inefficiencies, and improving the overall efficiency of financial governance. The limitation of this study lies in the data scope, which only involved a single hospital, thus restricting its generalizability. Future research is recommended to expand the scope to multiple hospitals and integrate alternative clustering methods to obtain more comprehensive results.

The rapid growth of e-commerce platforms has significantly transformed the way consumers share and access product feedback. One of the widely used platforms in Indonesia is Shopee, where customers actively provide reviews of various products, including local skincare brands such as Kahf facial wash. Customer reviews on e-commerce platforms contain valuable information that can be analyzed to understand consumer opinions and preferences. Sentiment analysis, as a branch of natural language processing, enables the classification of textual data into categories such as positive, negative, or neutral. This study aims to classify Shopee user sentiments regarding Kahf facial wash products by implementing the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm, a well-known probabilistic classifier suitable for text categorization. The research methodology consisted of several preprocessing stages, including data cleansing, case folding, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming, to prepare raw review texts for further analysis. For feature representation, the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method was applied to capture the importance of words across documents. To evaluate the classification performance, K-Fold cross-validation was employed with K values of 4, 5, 6, and 10 to ensure model reliability and robustness. Considering the issue of imbalanced datasets in user-generated reviews, the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was utilized to balance the distribution of sentiment classes. Based on the confusion matrix, the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm demonstrated effective performance in classifying sentiments, achieving satisfactory levels of accuracy, precision, and recall across different folds. These results indicate that the algorithm is capable of handling sentiment analysis tasks for local product reviews effectively. The findings of this study are expected to provide meaningful insights for businesses in understanding consumer perceptions, thereby supporting decision-making processes in product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement for local brands.
