In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, sustainable development has become crucial for a country's growth, especially in the tourism sector, which has significant potential to drive economic growth and environmental conservation. This research aims to examine how environmental externalities from the tourism sector can be effectively managed through the application of green economy principles. The method used is a qualitative approach with literature study, which includes analysis of the concept of green economy, the impact of tourism on society, and policies that can internalize negative impacts. The research results indicate that the application of green economy principles can reduce negative externalities caused by tourism, such as pollution and ecosystem damage, while also improving the welfare of local communities. Policies such as Pigovian taxes, subsidies, and regulations are necessary to support this implementation. Therefore, sustainable tourism management through green economy not only focuses on economic profit but also on environmental and social sustainability.

This study analyzes the impact of sustainable tourism concept implementation on the community of Tobati-Enggros Village, Jayapura City. Using qualitative descriptive methods with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving 35 informants, this research evaluates three pillars of sustainability: economic, socio-cultural, and environmental aspects. The findings show that sustainable tourism implementation achieves a moderate effectiveness score of 2.7. Economically, tourism creates new employment opportunities and increases community income by 25%-400%, but benefits distribution remains unequal with 70% of profits controlled by 30% of residents. Socio-culturally, tourism helps preserve the unique "Women's Forest" tradition while causing erosion in traditional practices like gotong royong (community cooperation). Environmentally, significant ecosystem degradation occurs with water quality declining 56% and mangrove forest coverage reducing by 10%. The study recommends strengthening community-based tourism institutions, implementing comprehensive waste management systems, and developing community capacity building programs to optimize sustainable tourism benefits while preserving environmental and cultural integrity.

This research was motivated by the public's lack of exposure to the potential of culinary products to support tourism in Solok City. The aim of this research is to formulate the potential of culinary tourism as a supporter of tourism in Solok City using SWOT analysis originating from internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats). This research is descriptive in nature with qualitative data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation, with research informants selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research informants were: Tourism Office, Bundo Kanduang, community and traders. Data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and strategic analysis. Overall, the research results show that the potential for culinary products to support tourism in Solok City has strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that can be identified for development. The potential for culinary products to support tourism in Solok City that can be proposed involves: 1) Many types of typical Solok City food are still not exposed to visitors as well as the meaning and traditional traditions contained in each type of typical Solok City food. 2) The potential of culinary products to support tourism in Solok City, consisting of karucuik baluik, banana stem curry, banana pinyaram, limpiang pinyaram and bagalintin banana compote need to be maintained so that they can become selling points with a taste that is maintained and become a legacy for future generations 3) The internal factors of typical Solok City foods such as karucuik baluik, banana stem curry, banana pinyaram, limpiang pinyaram and bagalintin banana compote have a delicious and savory taste. The drawback of Solok City culinary tourism food is that its presentation does not last long at room temperature. The younger generation is not skilled in making it. The external factor of delicious food can increase business opportunities for local MSMEs and can open up new job vacancies if developed. The potential of Solok City's culinary products is threatened and is rarely made by the community, so the current generation does not know the traditional processes and events used to make them.

This study aims to analyze the use of Indonesian by students of the Tourism Study Program at STIEPAR Yapari in an academic context. Indonesian as a national language plays an important role in effective communication in higher education environments. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that students still tend to use informal language and mix foreign terms in academic communication, which results in grammatical errors and hinders understanding of the material. Several factors that influence this language use pattern include daily habits, the influence of social media, and the dominance of foreign languages. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of Indonesian language use among students, as well as providing recommendations for lecturers and institutions in more effective language learning.

A qualitative approach with a case study design is employed. The researcher conducted observations of community-based tourism practices, in-depth interviews with local residents and a review of relevant literature. The collected data will be analysed using a descriptive qualitative method. The data will be reduced, verified, and concluded based on the analysis carried out. The research findings indicate that although there is considerable potential for adventure tourism, there are still significant shortcomings in its development. Therefore, a collaborative development pathway is needed to enhance the management system in the future, so as to generate meaningful social implications for the local community.

In the era of globalization, the tourism sector is experiencing rapid growth and requires a workforce that not only has technical skills, but also intercultural communication abilities. The ability to master more than one language or multilingualism is a crucial skill for tourism students to compete in an increasingly competitive job market. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of multilingualism in expanding career opportunities for tourism students at STIEPAR. The method applied was a survey using a questionnaire addressed to tourism students. The results of the study showed that all respondents (100%) considered the importance of foreign language skills in the world of tourism. Many students believe that their multilingual ability increases their competitiveness and helps prepare them to face the work challenges that exist in the global industry. However, there are challenges such as lack of opportunities for hands-on practice and adequate language learning facilities. The results of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening the foreign language curriculum in tourism education institutions, as well as the need for policy support and external collaboration to create a learning atmosphere that is active, relevant, and in line with industry demands.

Tourism is one of the strategic fields to obtain foreign exchange and support national and regional development. Indonesia has a rich diversity of tourist destinations, spread across the country. One of the regions famous for its beautiful and attractive tourist destinations is East Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT). This regency has various tourist destinations that attract attention and have unique characteristics. Currently, the focus of the community, particularly the people of East Manggarai Regency, is on the Watu Pajung Beach and Rana Tonjong Lake tourist destinations in Nanga Mbaur and Nanga Mbaling villages, Sambi Rampas sub-district. Considering its potential to increase regional income, this destination is specifically regulated through the East Manggarai Regency Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2016 concerning the management of the Watu Pajung Beach and Rana Tonjong Lake tourism area. This research uses empirical juridical methods, collecting data through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of the function of the East Manggarai Regency Tourism Office has shown an increase, but it is not yet optimal. Based on field experience and information obtained, the researcher can provide suggestions and input, namely: The Tourism Office must be more serious in overcoming the obstacles of managing the Watu Pajung Beach and Rana Tonjong Lake tourism to achieve optimal results, and the Local Government supports with larger budget assistance so that the management of tourist destinations is smoother.
