The Lapindo Mud Disaster that occurred in Sidoarjo in 2006 has become one of the most phenomenal events in Indonesia, causing the sinking of 16 villages and drastic changes to the landscape and lives of the surrounding community. The aim of designing the Lapindo Mud Museum is as a solution to fulfill its function not only as a place to store artifacts and information, but also as a space for interaction and reflection for the community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Design using a metaphor approach, namely the preparation of planning and design concepts with several analyses, namely, urban analysis, site analysis, land use analysis, circulation analysis, wind direction analysis, sun direction analysis, noise analysis, several concept preparations. The research results show that the building design is used as a symbol of the Lapindo Mudflow and commemorates the victims and communities affected by the Lapindo Mudflow. With a metaphorical architectural approach, the museum is expected to overcome the boredom that often occurs during conventional museum visits and facilitate deeper interactions with visitors.

The life of the people of Jember, which has long been inseparable from tobacco farming activities, sparked the birth of the idea of building a tobacco museum. This tobacco museum can be said to be a representation of how tobacco developed in the city of Jember. Several aspects contained in it also support the representation process. Starting from the beginning of the construction of the museum which was inspired by the habits of the people of Jember city, namely tobacco farming, the names of several agricultural tools were born from the language of the local community, even to the concept of the building which was interpreted as having similarities with one of the tools for tobacco production, namely the Atag warehouse. This research uses a representation theory perspective proposed by Stuart Hall. According to Hall, there are three approaches to the representation process consisting of reflective, intentional and constructionist approaches. The aim of this research is to find out how the representation process occurs in the tobacco museum. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The results of the research show that there has been representation in the tobacco museum where the process involves various aspects contained in the museum itself.

The Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center (P3GI) plays a crucial role in the development of the sugar industry in Indonesia. Currently, the contribution extends not only to the sugarcane industry but also begins to branch out into the field of education by providing educational tours for the public. The educational tourism activities at the Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center (P3GI) not only offer tours but also include accompaniment. The main objective of this accompaniment is to enhance tourists' knowledge by accompany and educating them during their visit to P3GI. Guides will take tourists through several educational spots, including the library, museum, explant area, garden, and plantation. After the tour, tourists are invited to taste natural sugarcane juice (STA). The outcomes of the educational tourism guidance activities at the Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center (P3GI) have beneficial effects for all parties involved, especially tourists.

Pandemi Covid-19 memicu penurunan drastis terhadap kunjungan ke Museum, salah satunya Museum Balla Lompoa di Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan diperlukannya strategi khusus untuk memaksimalkan potensi Museum dan meminimalisir dampak ekonomi, lingkungan, serta sosial terhadap Museum akibat Pandemi Covid-19. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang diperkuat oleh metode sejarah berupa heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan studi kepustakaan untuk menemukan strategi khusus dalam membesarkan kembali Museum Balla Lompoa sehingga memiliki dampak ekonomi, lingkungan, dan sosial. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi strategi dalam membesarkan Museum Balla Lompoa untuk mencapai keunggulan daya saing sehingga dapat meminimalisir dampak akibat Pandemi Covid-19. Dengan mengacu pada tujuan penelitian, temuan yang berhasil diungkap dalam penelitian adalah lima komponen yang dapat dijadikan sebagai upaya memaksimalkan potensi Museum, yaitu scope, goals, resources, identifikasi keunggulan daya saing, dan sinergi sehingga mampu menjadi strategi khusus yang dapat membesarkan Museum Balla Lompoa. Kelima elemen tersebut menjadi dasar penerapan strategi Museum, stategi pemasaran ekosistem Museum, dan strategi kebudayaan di wilayah Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.

This research aims to evaluate the influence of preferences and motivation on the level of satisfaction of visitors, especially Gen Z at the MACAN Museum. The data analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. Through regression model analysis, several significant conclusions can be drawn. First, a constant value of 3.168 implies that if the preferences and motivation of visitors to the MACAN Museum is 0, then the level of visitor satisfaction is 3.168. Second, the regression coefficient for variable X1 of 0.070 indicates that preferences have a positive impact on the level of visitor satisfaction, while third, the regression coefficient for variable has a positive and significant impact on Generation Z Visitor Satisfaction (Y) at the MACAN Museum

This study aims to analyze the semiotic meanings and to find out the types of gestures in the BTS Blood, Sweat, and Tears In theory, Roland Barthes discusses three semiotic meanings: denotative, connotative, and myth. This study uses qualitative methods to examine the substance of the meaning of the phenomenon. Researcher used books, theses, journals, and visual images taken from the BTS Blood, Sweat, and Tears music video as data sources to support analysis. The results of this study: there are 10 data where each data has one to four scenes. From the 10 data, there are types of gestures which include 6 data belonging to the illustrator gesture type, 2 data including the embellishment gesture type, and 2 data belonging to the illustrator gesture type. Of all the semiotics presented, the meaning of this music video is the story of resistance, denial, and eventually acceptance. Once cannot stand in the museum of their life forever and look longingly at the mementos of the past. The world is a place of complex relationships between light and dark, good and evil, virtuosity and sin. As we all cross the threshold of puberty we are faced with the choices that shape our lives. No one person is immune to the temptations of such a life and seeing it, understanding it for what it is, and making those choices is all we can do. No one remains untouched by the darkness.

Many people assume that the value of gravitational acceleration always has a fixed value. However, if we look closely, the value of gravitational acceleration always changes in each place. This research aims to compare differences in Earth's gravitational acceleration in various locations. Through this research, researchers can identify the causes of differences in gravity, one of which is differences in height. The method used in this research is a simple pendulum experimental method, with a quantitative approach to collecting data from various places. The results obtained for g in the JICA building on the 5th floor were 9,47 m/s², g in the FIP building on the 10th floor was 9,72 m/s², g in the FPTK 9,59 m/s², and g at the National Museum of Education is 9,72 m/s². Apart from that, it can be found the average magnitude of the gravitational acceleration from these four places is 9,62 m/s². From these results it can be concluded that the magnitude of the Earth’s gravitational acceleration is different in each place. Apart from height, this difference can also occur due to uncertainty in measuring gravity.

The Minahasa cultural museum in Tomohon City is a means of storing and providing information for the community and tourists to find out more about the culture in Minahasa, as a solution. The problem is that there is no Minahasa cultural museum in Tomohon City. With a Deconstruction Architecture approach by creating buildings that contrast with abstract and complicated shapes, so that they can attract tourists but can also attract local people to visit the museum.

Museums play a central role in maintaining, preserving, and teaching cultural heritage to the public. This article discusses the important role of museums as cultural institutions that have the responsibility of preserving and presenting cultural heritage for future generations. Museums are not only repositories of historical artifacts, art, and knowledge, but also educational centers that provide in-depth insights into history, art, and culture.This article discusses two main aspects of the museum's role: preservation and education. First, museums function as custodians of cultural heritage by collecting, caring for and preserving historical artifacts and objects. Thus, museums become a bulwark against the loss of cultural and historical identity. Second, museums as educational institutions provide opportunities for the public to gain in-depth knowledge about various aspects of human life through exhibitions, educational programs, and interactive activities.

The term smart museum has started to emerge in recent years along with the development of digital technology and smart concepts related to the application of technology in helping people in various sectors of life. The concept of a smart museum itself refers to the use of internet of things (IoT) technology such as sensors, wireless networks, digital applications, virtual reality, augmented reality, and smart systems to increase the interactivity, accessibility and involvement of visitors in the museum. Now more and more museums are adopting this smart solution as a way to attract visitors and optimize the visitor experience. In Indonesia, one of the museums that has transformed into a smart museum is the Museum Penerangan. In its efforts to become a smart museum, the Museum Penerangan has several supporting factors such as the number of human resources, technology support, program creativity, and support from top management. However, the main obstacle is funding because it requires a large investment to transform into a smart museum, besides that special human resources are needed to understand the technological needs that match the collection.

Museum Misi OSF (Ordo St. Fransiskus) bertindak sebagai sebuah fasilitas pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk membina calon guru agama Katolik dalam aspek karakter dan spiritualitas. Museum ini didedikasikan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang ajaran dan nilai-nilai Katolik kepada calon guru, agar mereka dapat menjadi pengajar yang berkualitas dan mampu membimbing siswa dalam pengembangan karakter dan kehidupan rohani.   Museum Misi OSF menyediakan berbagai sumber daya yang beragam, termasuk seni religius, artefak bersejarah, literatur teologis, dan materi pembelajaran yang relevan. Para calon guru dapat menjelajahi koleksi ini melalui tur interaktif, pameran, dan kegiatan pembelajaran lainnya. Museum ini juga menyelenggarakan program pendidikan khusus yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang ajaran Katolik, sejarah Gereja, dan praktik spiritual.  Melalui pengalaman  Museum Misi OSF, calon guru iman Katolik dapat mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang hidup dalam ajaran Katolik dengan karakter dan spiritualitas. Mereka  belajar tentang nilai-nilai seperti cinta, kerendahan hati, pengampunan, dan pelayanan kepada orang lain yang menjadi dasar kehidupan yang layak untuk beriman.   Selain itu, Museum Misi OSF juga menawarkan ruang bagi calon guru untuk berefleksi dan berefleksi. Mereka dapat menggunakan fasilitas  museum ini untuk beribadah, bermeditasi atau melakukan praktik spiritual lainnya yang membantu pertumbuhan pribadi dan spiritual mereka. Ini memungkinkan mereka untuk menjadi panutan bagi siswa mereka dan membimbing mereka dalam kehidupan spiritual mereka. Museum Adityawarman  merupakan museum yang berada di Padang, Sumatera Barat. Museum ini merupakan salah satu museum di Indonesia yang  memamerkan artefak dan benda-benda seni budaya Minangkabau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh museum experience terhadap minat berkunjung kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian yang bersifat asosiatif kausal dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan data kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh wisatawan yang pernah  berkunjung ke Museum Adityawarman dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden menggunakan teknik insidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner(angket) yang disusun berdasarkan skala likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26.00 dan hasil analisis tersebut disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian adalah museum experience pada Museum Adityawarman dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 75%. Minat Berkunjung Kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 70%. Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh museum experience terhadap minat berkunjung kembali wisatawan di Museum Adityawarman. Nilai Adj. R square sebesar 0,514 artinya variabel museum experience berpengaruh sebesar 51,4% terhadap minat berkunjung kembali di Museum Adityawarman dan 48,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.

Radya Pustaka Museum is said to be the oldest museum in Indonesia. Radya Pustaka Museum is currently experiencing a setback in terms of tourist visits. This is due to two things, namely; 1. Pull factors or from the museum side, (collection, arrangement, promotion, interior design, interpretation, digitization). 2. Driving factors or from the visitor's side, (motivation drops, shifts in interest, lack of references). This study aims to determine the potential of the Radya Pustaka Museum as a tourist destination, along with efforts to develop the area into an integrated tourist destination. This research was conducted using a qualitative method in the Sriwedari Park area in general and the Radya Pustaka museum in particular. Data collection techniques were carried out by observations, interviews and document studies. Based on the results of data collection, it can be concluded that: (1) the Radya Pustaka Museum has the potential to be used as a cultural tourism destination, (2) a tourism attraction and tourist attraction development strategy is needed, (3) a tourism and regional development strategy is needed as well as good marketing support.

Lawang Sewu is a historic building owned by PT KAI in Operational Area 4 Semarang, Central Java. Lawang Sewu is a relic from the Dutch Colonial period. Now Lawang Sewu has become a cultural heritage building that is included in the building protection law. In this museum we can find the legacy of the old PT KAI. Lawang Sewu is also one of the leading tourist attractions in the city of Semarang and witnessed the 5-day battle in Semarang which took place from 14 to 19 August 1949 and is marked by the location of the Tugu Muda Monument which is on the west side of Lawang Sewu or more precisely at the Jalan Pandanaran roundabout. As an architectural and tourist object, Lawang Sewu has the value needed in the definition of a monument and monumental nature. These values include aspects of history, technology, architecture, and culture. Currently the Lawang Sewu building houses a collection of trains in Indonesia from time to time. Collections such as Alkmaar, Edmonson machines, calculating machines, typewriters, replica steam locomotives, securities, and several other collections. This place is also often used for community activities such as exhibitions, festivals, art performances, shooting, wedding parties and photo shoots.

Penelitian ini ini dilakukan di Museum Uang Sumatera yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode pelestarian dokumen numismatik, serta apa saja kendala yang dihadapi pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera dalam upaya pelestarian dokumen numismatik. Jenis metode yang dipakai pada penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui pembuatan gambar terhadap data yang telah diperoleh sesuai keadaan yang sesungguhnya. Untuk menentukan orang yang  akan menjadi sumber informasi maka memanfaatkan metode purposive sampling. Pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan, maka yang menjadi informan yaitu dua staf pegawai yang bekerja sebagai pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan  observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa, metode pelestarian yang dilakukan oleh Museum Uang Sumatera menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode Laminasi merupakan metode yang dilakukan untuk penjilidan, menambal, atau menyambung pada uang kertas yang sudah rusak, sedangkan metode Enkapsulasi merupakan metode yang dilakukan pada uang koin kuno yang telah mengalami korosi atau perkaratan. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi pengelola Museum Uang Sumatera dalam melakukan pelestarian terhadap dokumen numismatik (uang kuno) yaitu kurangnya SDM, anggaran dana, dan alat-alat untuk melakukan pelestarian terhadap dokumen numismatik (uang kuno) di Museum Uang Sumatera.

Bangunan Museum Wayang di Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta ditetapkan sebagai bangunan cagar budaya karena memiliki nilai penting dalam sejarah perkembangan kota dan bangsa. Maka dari itu, diperlukan upaya konservasi untuk mempertahankan keberadaannya sehingga nilai-nilai tersebut tidak hilang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya konservasi yang dilakukan terhadap bangunan Museum Wayang serta keseuiannya terhadap prinsip konservasi arsitektur. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menjabarkan upaya konservasi secara deskriptif-kualitatif melalui observasi dan studi pustaka. Secara keseluruhan, Museum Wayang telah menerapkan upaya konservasi yang tepat dengan mempertahankan signifikansi budaya dan tidak melakukan intervensi besar pada kondisi asli bangunan. Bentuk adaptive reuse pada Museum Wayang yang melibatkan kegiatan restorasi  atau rehabilitasi menunjukkan komitmen pemerintah daerah dalam mempertahankan bagunan bernilai sejarah ditengah – tengah pesatnya perkembangan lingkungan perkotaan yang dinamis.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana masyarakat terlibat dengan seni di era selfie, perangkat digital, dan media sosial. Ini mengkaji pengalaman penonton pameran seni, di mana pengunjung didorong untuk menggunakan media sosial untuk berbagi pengalaman seni mereka, untuk memahami bagaimana pendekatan semacam itu dapat mengubah sifat keterlibatan pengunjung dengan seni. Bisa dibilang, selfie yang diambil di ruang seni memperkaya pengalaman dan keterlibatan pengunjung dengan seni dan berfungsi sebagai alat pemasaran bersama, memberdayakan, dan otentik untuk museum. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi non partisipan (etnografi) dan netnografi di Museum Lawang Sewu Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih-alih mempromosikan pelepasan dari karya seni, selfie di ruang seni menjadi "keterikatan materi - diskursif jaringan" yang memberdayakan konsumen seni untuk bersama-sama menciptakan nilai dan organisasi seni untuk mengurangi jarak antar konsumen dan mereproduksi keaslian ikonik dari karya seni. karya seni di ruang maya. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada teori selfie dengan mengatasi pandangan tradisional tentang selfie sebagai manifestasi ekspresi diri narsistik. Sebaliknya, dalam mempromosikan interpretasi selfie sebagai sarana pemberdayaan dan demokratisasi yang digunakan oleh konsumen seni untuk mengembangkan narasi dan proyek identitas dalam konteks seperti museum di mana secara tradisional pengembangan narasi adalah karakter elit. Kontribusi lebih lanjut yang diberikan oleh penelitian ini berasal dari identifikasi kelompok pengunjung (yaitu, pelari realitas, pecinta seni, photoholics, dan pecinta selfie), ditempatkan pada kontinum nilai co-creation, yang perlu disadari oleh administrator seni sebagai memasuki era konsumsi seni yang lebih dinamis. Learning activities outside the classroom (Outdoor Study) and outside reading book texts will create a different atmosphere and understanding. One of the ways to study outdoors is to visit museums, the museum informs the public, especially students and teachers, about history classes. Museums are the best place to find historical sources, feel more grateful, get to know the world more broadly. The purpose of this community service writing is to disseminate information about the existence of the OSF Semarang Mission Study House as an alternative to visit, as an interesting place and provide additional knowledge. The methods used in this activity are preparation, visit and evaluation. The result of this dissemination is that the OSF Semarang Study house is an interesting place to visit with relics of interesting items to be known by students and the visiting public. Arrangement of items in a neat and attractive room will make students and the public feel at home and will visit again

Public space in the city center is an area that is very prominent in its growth, this is driven by various activities including: trade, entertainment/recreation, culture and government. Emotional attachment to a place or place attachment is important to understand, especially because of its potential role in developing public facilities, special places, and communities that work in those places, and also to anticipate conflicts that arise in the management of a place. The building, which was formerly known as Societeit Soekarame, was built during the Dutch government in the 1930s and was used as a place for the elite of Dutch colonialism to gather. During the war of independence, around 1947- 1948, Societeit Soekarame changed its name to Gedung Juang 45. Along with the times, Gedung Juang 45 was renovated with a concept that had been determined to become a Diorama Museumor an educational gallery entitled "Galeri Pati Mbiyen".
