Stock returns are one of the indicators in investor investment decision making. Factors that influence stock returns are internal (fundamental) factors, namely ROA, DPR and EPS. The purpose of this study was to determine: the effect of Return On Asset (ROA) on Stock Returns, the effect of Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on Stock Returns, and the effect of Earnings Per Share (EPS) on Stock Returns in Industrial Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Findings: Return On Asset (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on Stock Returns, Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) does not affect Stock Returns, and Earnings Per Share (EPS) does not affect Stock Returns. The implication of this study for investors is that they can use ROA as the main indicator in analyzing potential opportunities to gain profit from capital gains from stock returns before making investment decisions. The implication for management is to focus on strategies to optimize the use of assets to generate greater profits. Meanwhile, the implications for regulators and policy makers are to encourage transparency in financial reports and the preparation of capital market literacy programs.

In the era of globalization, companies face intense competition alongside the implementation of PSAK 22 (revised 2010) in Indonesia, particularly in the merger between PT Bentoel Internasional Investama, Tbk. and PT BAT Indonesia, Tbk. in 2010. Utilizing the purchase method according to PSAK 22, this research applies a qualitative approach with content analysis to compare the practices of business combination accounting before and after the adoption of IFRS. The research focuses on how well PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk. adheres to accounting standards, especially PSAK 22 after IFRS adoption. The adoption of PSAK 22 and IFRS enhances transparency, limits potential earnings management, and improves the quality of financial reporting. Although there is an improvement in disclosing minority rights and non-controlling ownership, these aspects still require further attention. With its positive impact, this research demonstrates that the implementation of PSAK 22 and IFRS in PT Bentoel Internasional Investama, Tbk. can enhance the company's effectiveness in facing competition. Highlighting the positive impact of implementing PSAK 22 and IFRS in PT Bentoel Internasional Investama, Tbk., the research reinforces transparency, integrity, and the quality of financial reporting related to business combinations. The company is expected to be more effective in dealing with competition by reducing opportunities for earnings management practices. Recommendations for further research include expanding the sample size and conducting comparative studies for a more comprehensive understanding.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between big bath accounting, corporate governance, and information asymmetry on audit fees through a qualitative literature review approach. Big bath accounting, a practice of manipulating earnings by reducing profits in one period to boost profits in the subsequent period, is known to increase audit risks, which subsequently leads to higher audit fees. Strong corporate governance is believed to mitigate the negative impact of this practice by providing more effective internal controls and reducing the level of information asymmetry. Low information asymmetry between management and shareholders reduces the auditor's uncertainty regarding the quality of financial statements, which can help lower audit fees. This study reviews recent literature on the relationship among these three variables, comparing findings from previous studies to provide a deeper and more comprehensive understanding. The study's findings suggest that good corporate governance and high levels of transparency play an important role in reducing audit fees caused by big bath accounting practices and information asymmetry. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective governance policies that enhance financial transparency and control audit costs.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the financial sector in Indonesia, causing a decrease in profitability, an increase in non-performing loans, and credit restructuring policies that affect company operations. The inconsistency of previous research results regarding the relationship between these variables encourages further research. The sampling method uses purposive sampling on financial companies listed on the IDX. The analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The samples used in this study included 15 financial companies and were analyzed using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 25.
