The development of digital technology has transformed the way humans think, interact, and solve problems in various aspects of life. In this context, design thinking emerges as a creative, empathetic, and innovative mindset centered on human needs to address complex challenges in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the role of design thinking in fostering creative and ethical personalities through the strengthening of soft skills and social media branding and analyze the role of design thinking in developing creative and ethical personalities through strengthening soft skills and social media branding in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research will explore how the application of design thinking can encourage individuals to think innovatively and responsibly, as well as how social media branding can strengthen self-image and digital ethical values. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using literature review methods based on relevant national and international sources. The study's findings indicate that design thinking plays a crucial role in fostering innovative mindsets, empathy, and moral responsibility, which form the foundation for developing a creative personality. Meanwhile, social media branding serves as a means to strengthen self-image, digital ethical values, and personal integrity online.

Indonesian EFL senior high school students. Traditional EFL instruction often emphasizes lower-order cognitive skills, limiting students' ability to analyze, evaluate, and create in English. This research explored student experiences with PBL and its impact on HOTS development. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five 11th-grade students participating in environmental-themed PBL activities. Thematic analysis identified patterns in student experiences and perceptions. Findings reveal that students perceive PBL as significantly more engaging than traditional instruction, fostering enhanced motivation, deeper understanding, and collaborative competencies. Students demonstrated active engagement in higher-order cognitive processes through research activities, critical discussions, and creative project development. Collaborative dimensions particularly enhanced analytical and evaluative thinking as students examined diverse perspectives. Implementation challenges emerged, including time management difficulties, group dynamics issues, resource limitations, and presentation anxiety. These challenges highlight PBL's complexity and the need for comprehensive support systems. The study concludes that while PBL effectively promotes HOTS development in EFL contexts, successful implementation requires systematic support, including project management instruction, collaborative skills development, adequate technological resources, and continuous professional development for educators.

A teacher’s success in teaching can be observed through student learning outcomes. One of supporting factors for successful teaching is the used of learning model. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningfull (3CM) Learning Model Assisted by Differentiated Learning-Based Learning Modules to improve the academic achievement and the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 8 Malinau. This study employed a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental research method using a pretest and a posttest designs. The population consisted of 12th - grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Malinau, with 60 students sample divided into 2 classes, experimental class and control class, depended using a non-probability sampling technique. The experimental class is a class that is treated in the form of 3CM learning model assisted by differentiated learning-based learning modules, while the control class received a conventional treatment. Data collection for measuring learning outcomes and critical thinking skills was carried out through validated and reliable tests. Data analysis techniques used a homogeneity test with the F test and a hypothesis test with an Independent Sample T test. The results showed that: 1) the average of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 75,50, higher than the students in the control class, which was 65,50; and 2) the average of critical thinking skills test outcomes in the experimental class was 81,22, higher than that of the control class, which was 61,47. From these results, it was concluded that the 3CM learning model assisted by differentiated learning-based learning modules was effective in improving student’s learning outcomes and critical thinking skills.

Creative thinking skills are fundamental competencies to be nurtured in 21st-century learning, especially within science education. One promising approach to developing these skills is the use of an Etno-STEM integrated E-Module implemented through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The Etno-STEM integration seeks to link local wisdom and culture with the domains of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, thereby creating meaningful, contextualized learning experiences. This study aims to investigate the impact of implementing an Etno-STEM integrated E-Module through PjBL on students’ creative thinking skills. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with two classes: an experimental group using the Etno-STEM integrated E-Module and a control group using cooperative learning strategies. Research instruments comprised both test and non-test tools. The test instrument included objective-reasoned questions aligned with four creative thinking indicators—fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration—while the non-test instrument involved structured observation sheets to monitor learning implementation. Data analysis demonstrated that the Etno-STEM integrated E-Module using the PjBL model significantly improved students’ creative thinking skills compared to conventional approaches. This finding highlights the potential of combining local wisdom with innovative instructional models as an effective and culturally responsive strategy for advancing science learning aligned with 21st-century educational demands.

The effect of the integrated interactive Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) module on learning interest and creative thinking skills of class VII students at SMPN 23 Pekanbaru was the focus of this study. One of the learning resources that is particularly suitable for the 21st century is interactive modules. These modules serve as detailed learning packages designed to help students achieve their learning objectives. The Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approach used in this study aims to not only increase students' interest and readiness to learn but also enhance their creative thinking skills. The purpose of this research was to examine and analyze the effect of the integrated interactive ESD module on learning interest and creative thinking skills, and to describe the correlation between learning interest and creative thinking skills in students. The study employed a quasi-experimental design combined with correlation analysis, using instruments such as a learning interest questionnaire and a creative thinking skills test. The findings of the study indicated that the integrated interactive ESD module had a significant effect on both the learning interest and the creative thinking skills of students. Furthermore, there was a positive correlation between learning interest and creative thinking skills, suggesting that enhancing students' engagement in the learning process through interactive modules can foster the development of their creative thinking abilities. These results highlight the importance of interactive learning resources in supporting student achievement in the 21st century

The community service activity carried out with farmer groups in Kelungkung Village, Sumbawa Regency, aims to enhance farmers’ capacity and independence through an innovation-based business approach. The specific objectives of this activity include: (a) developing an innovation-oriented business model to support agricultural product enterprises, (b) strengthening marketing management for competitiveness, (c) improving skills in simple financial management analysis, and (d) providing an understanding of creative thinking methods capable of generating innovations by integrating community needs, technological potential, and business success factors. The methods applied involved training sessions, mentoring, and interactive discussions focusing on business model design, digital financial management practices, and modern marketing strategies. The results of the activity indicate that: (1) partners are able to understand and elaborate on key business components such as customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners, and cost structures; (2) partners can evaluate their businesses, identify opportunities, and formulate solutions to existing challenges; (3) partners have acquired basic knowledge of digital-based financial management analysis that is simple yet applicable; and (4) partners have developed the capacity to expand their farming enterprises, particularly in the field of digital marketing. Overall, this program has successfully encouraged farmer groups to be more adaptive to technological developments and modern market demands.

This study aims to analyze the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve students’ creativity in Social Studies and to measure its effectiveness in enhancing creative learning outcomes. The research was conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) across two cycles during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 30 fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Barombong 2. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while analysis employed descriptive statistics for quantitative data and reduction–triangulation techniques for qualitative data. The creativity indicators examined included fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Findings reveal that the implementation of PjBL significantly enhanced students’ creative thinking skills, as evidenced by an overall increase in average scores across all creativity indicators. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the PjBL model was reflected in the improved implementation of its instructional syntax, progressing from the “Moderate” category in the initial cycle to “High” and eventually “Very High” in the subsequent cycle. These outcomes confirm that PjBL promotes active, student-centered, and collaborative learning that fosters creativity in Social Studies. The study concludes that continuous implementation of PjBL is essential for cultivating creativity in elementary classrooms and suggests further research to explore its applicability in different contexts and educational levels.

The Independent Entrepreneurship Program is one of the strategic efforts of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of students through direct experiential learning. This program is present as a forum for students to not only understand entrepreneurship theory, but also to practice in real life the process of building and managing a business. In its implementation, the program involves active collaboration between universities, industry mentors, and field supervisors who play a role in providing direction, guidance, and evaluation of student business development. Through Independent Entrepreneurship, students are given the opportunity to design creative business ideas, run a business on a real scale, and solve various entrepreneurial challenges they face. This activity not only trains managerial, communication, and innovation skills, but also improves critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, students gain valuable experience in terms of teamwork, financial management, marketing strategies, building business networks, and the use of digital technology to support business sustainability. The results of the program implementation show positive impacts, including increased confidence, independence, and students' understanding of the real business world. Furthermore, this program encourages the creation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem in a sustainable campus environment and is able to be the forerunner of the birth of a young generation of Indonesian entrepreneurs who are resilient, innovative, creative, adaptive to changing times, and have high competitiveness. Thus, Independent Entrepreneurship not only plays a role as a skill development program, but also becomes one of the important foundations in preparing students to face the world of work and becoming independent business actors who are professional, visionary, sustainability-oriented, and make a real contribution to the nation's economic development.

Improving the quality of biology learning in secondary schools requires pedagogical innovations that connect academic content with real-life contexts and leverage digital technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of a contextual teaching approach assisted by interactive PowerPoint on students’ learning outcomes in the human respiratory system topic. A true experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was employed at SMA Negeri 1 Langowan, involving two eleventh-grade classes selected through simple random sampling. The experimental class received contextual instruction integrated with interactive PowerPoint, while the control class was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through validated achievement tests and analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, followed by independent and paired t-tests. The results indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes for students in the experimental class compared to the control group. The experimental group’s posttest scores were substantially higher, and the difference was statistically significant. Integrating a contextual approach with interactive visualization effectively enhanced students’ understanding of abstract biology concepts, promoted active participation, and strengthened learning motivation. These findings support constructivist theory and highlight the relevance of contextual teaching in science education aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The study implies the importance of implementing context-based strategies combined with simple digital media to improve biology learning effectiveness. Future research may explore its impact on non-cognitive skills such as critical thinking and scientific attitudes. Furthermore, the results of this study provide opportunities for teachers to be more creative in designing teaching materials that are not only informative but also interactive and relevant to students' lives. By utilizing media such as interactive PowerPoint, teachers can present complex biological content in a more engaging and understandable way.

Deep learning is a learning approach that emphasizes in-depth understanding of concepts and the development of critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking skills. Although this approach aligns with the demands of a competency-based curriculum, its implementation at the elementary school level still faces various challenges. Based on a preliminary survey, 65% of elementary school teachers in partner schools admitted to experiencing difficulties in implementing deep learning effectively in the classroom. This study aims to identify innovative strategies that can improve teacher competency through a structured training program. The training activities involved 120 teachers from 10 elementary schools who are members of the teacher working group (KKG), with a focus on mastery of deep learning concepts, the application of interactive learning methods, and the use of educational technology. The training method was implemented continuously using a blended learning approach, including face-to-face sessions, practical workshops, mentoring, and the use of digital learning platforms. Evaluation results showed that 80% of training participants experienced significant improvements in their understanding of deep learning concepts, 70% were able to integrate interactive learning strategies into the teaching process, and 60% actively utilized learning technology to enrich students' learning experiences. These findings confirm that ongoing training integrated with technology support can improve teachers' capacity to implement deep learning in the classroom. Furthermore, the program's success is also influenced by intensive mentoring and collaboration among teachers through the Teacher Working Group (KKG). The implications of this research point to the need for educational policies at the elementary school level that encourage systematic, sustainable, and technology-based teacher professional development programs. Thus, the implementation of deep learning can be optimized to support the achievement of competency-based curriculum objectives and improve the overall quality of education

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) by applying a discovery learning model assisted by image media in grade V of SD Nurul Khoir, Jambi City. The method used is Class Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects amounted to 26 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through learning outcome tests, observation of teacher and student activities, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes. In cycle I, completeness reached 73.92%, and increased to 85.30% in cycle II. This improvement shows that the application of the discovery learning model combined with image media is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes. This model encourages active involvement of students in the learning process, fosters curiosity, and hones critical and logical thinking skills. Image media as a visual aid has also been proven to be able to strengthen concept understanding and improve students' memory of the material studied. In addition, the learning process becomes more fun and meaningful because students are directly involved in the activity of discovering concepts through the stages of observing, questioning, gathering information, reasoning, and concluding. Teachers are no longer the center of information, but play the role of learning facilitators. This strategy is also relevant to the cognitive development characteristics of elementary school students who tend to favor concrete and visual learning. Thus, the application of the discovery learning model assisted by image media can be an alternative to an effective and innovative learning strategy in improving social studies learning outcomes. Teachers are advised to continue to develop adaptive, creative, and contextual learning methods and media.

A wedding is an important event in a person's life that requires various careful preparations, one of which is sending invitations to guests. This research aims to create an Android-based wedding invitation booking application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology with a Design Thinking approach. This approach includes five main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, to ensure that the developed application is truly in accordance with the needs and expectations of users. With AR technology, users can view and interact directly with virtual invitations through digital devices such as smartphones, which provides a more engaging, interactive, and modern visual experience than conventional physical invitations. The app's key features include invitation design selection, content customization (name, location, date, and couple's photo), as well as simulated invitation display with three-dimensional effects via AR. The app also allows users to store, share, and place orders directly through an integrated system. The results of the evaluation conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method showed a score of 75.3. This score indicates that the app has a good usability level and is positively received by the majority of respondents. In addition, this application is considered to be able to increase efficiency in the invitation ordering process and provide a more modern and personal impression to users and invited guests. The conclusion of this study is that AR-based wedding invitation booking apps not only serve as a practical tool, but also become digital innovations that enrich the user experience in modern weddings. This research is expected to make a real contribution to the development of creative information technology and inspire other developers to create similar solutions that are innovative, efficient, and relevant to the needs of the times.

This study aims to explore students' perceptions of creating digital video projects as a tool for teaching and improving speaking abilities. A descriptive qualitative research design was applied, involving 50 students enrolled in the Intermediate English course during the second semester of the Machine Automotive Study Programme at Politeknik Negeri Jember. Data collection techniques included questionnaires distributed via Google Forms, consisting of multiple-choice and open-ended questions, complemented by semi-structured interviews to gain deeper insights. The focus was on understanding how students perceive the effectiveness of digital video projects in enhancing their speaking skills and overall language learning experience. The findings revealed that most students had a positive attitude toward creating digital video projects, stating that such activities significantly enhanced their confidence, fluency, and pronunciation in English. Many participants emphasized that digital video projects encouraged them to practice speaking repeatedly, which contributed to reducing anxiety and improving their performance. The study also found a clear connection between students' intrinsic motivation to improve their speaking skills and the perceived benefits of completing digital video tasks. Additionally, students highlighted the creative aspect of video-making, which fostered collaboration, critical thinking, and self-expression. The role of the lecturer was identified as crucial in guiding students throughout the project, particularly in overcoming technical and linguistic challenges. The study concludes that integrating digital video projects into speaking lessons not only improves speaking ability but also motivates learners to take active participation in language learning.

This study aims to understand how learning about rainbows can improve elementary school students' understanding of basic science concepts, particularly regarding the refraction of light and the color spectrum. The concept of rainbows is an important part of Natural Science (IPA) lessons because it involves optical phenomena that can be directly observed and related to students' daily experiences. In this study, the method used is a literature study, namely by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various relevant library sources, such as scientific articles, textbooks, and educational journals that discuss the topic of science learning and the rainbow phenomenon. The results of this study indicate that learning about rainbows can be done through various interactive and fun approaches, such as through practical experiments using prisms, water droplets, or other simple media that can demonstrate the process of refraction of white light into a color spectrum. In addition, the use of visual media such as images, animated videos, and digital simulations has also proven effective in helping students understand the process of rainbow formation more concretely. Creative activities such as drawing rainbows, making color models, or role-playing as light and water droplets can also increase active student participation and make learning more enjoyable. This study also emphasizes the importance of integrating rainbow learning into the elementary school science curriculum systematically and contextually. Rainbow materials not only introduce scientific concepts in a fun way, but also develop critical thinking, observation, and experimental skills in children. With the right approach, this learning can foster students' interest in science from an early age. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to contribute positively to the development of more effective, creative, and developmentally appropriate science learning methods for elementary school students.

This community service activity addresses the growing need for adaptive education in the digital era by focusing on strengthening the character and competence of students in line with rapid technological developments. The Pancasila Student Profile, which serves as the foundation of the Merdeka Curriculum, outlines six core dimensions: faith and piety, global diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Among these, creativity, independence, and critical thinking are crucial for preparing students to become innovators and problem-solvers in the digital world. However, schools in developing regions often face limitations in implementing these dimensions due to lack of resources and digital literacy. This program was implemented at SMA Negeri 2 Sorong Regency with the objective of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile by providing training in the use of Thunkable, a visual programming platform for creating drag-and-drop mobile applications. The activity used a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach, enabling students to actively engage in designing simple educational applications that align with their learning context. The method encouraged hands-on exploration, teamwork, critical analysis, and creative thinking. Throughout the training, students not only learned how to navigate the Thunkable platform but also developed functional mobile apps addressing real-life learning challenges. The outcomes of the program showed a marked improvement in students’ digital literacy, problem-solving ability, innovation, and collaboration. Furthermore, students began to view themselves not just as consumers of technology but as producers of meaningful digital solutions. This initiative demonstrates that integrating digital technology with project-based learning can effectively support the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, even in remote or underdeveloped areas. It provides evidence that with the right approach and tools, students can be empowered to become digitally literate, creative, and socially responsible individuals who are ready to act as agents of change in the 21st century.

This study investigates the implementation of the discovery learning model to enhance the learning independence of Grade V students in the IPAS subject at MIS Nurul Yaqin. The problem arises from limited learning facilities, which reduce opportunities for activities that stimulate creativity, as well as students’ limited ability to recognize and describe shapes and colors in detail. This Classroom Action Research applied the Kemmis and McTaggart model with Grade V students as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively in both quantitative and qualitative forms. The results show that Discovery Learning effectively improved students’ independence in learning. Through its exploratory approach, students actively engaged in questioning, observing, experimenting, and drawing conclusions in meaningful activities. Improvements were noted in self-confidence, task discipline, initiative in managing learning, motivation to understand material, and responsibility for outcomes. Active participation at each stage—from problem formulation to reflection—enhanced mastery of the properties of light and their applications, while also fostering critical, creative, and responsible learning behavior. Furthermore, the study found that the implementation of Discovery Learning encouraged collaborative interaction among students, allowing them to share ideas, test hypotheses, and provide peer feedback. This created a more student-centered learning atmosphere, shifting the focus from teacher instruction to student exploration. Quantitative results showed that student independence increased significantly, with success rates rising from 47.80% in Cycle I, when learning was still teacher-centered, to 84.76% in Cycle II, as students became more actively engaged both physically and mentally. These findings highlight the importance of using student-centered approaches such as Discovery Learning to develop independence, critical thinking, and motivation. The model not only supported better academic outcomes but also prepared students with essential lifelong learning skills that can be applied across subjects and in real-life problem solving.

The transformation of education in the digital era demands inclusive, creative, and relevant learning innovations in line with technological developments. To address these challenges, utilizing digital platforms is a strategic step in driving the digitalization of education. One innovative solution that is becoming widely used is no-code platforms like Thunkable, which enable users, including students, to create applications without having to master complex programming. This article reviews the results of a community service activity conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sorong City, focusing on improving digital literacy and strengthening 21st-century skills through training in creating educational applications based on Thunkable. This activity utilized experiential learning and project-based learning approaches, implemented through hands-on training, interactive demonstrations, independent practice, and participatory evaluation. This training not only targeted students as the primary participants but also involved teachers as facilitators who accompanied the learning process and encouraged the application of training outcomes in classroom activities. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in student enthusiasm, critical thinking skills, and creativity in designing simple educational applications tailored to learning needs and local contexts. Despite obstacles such as limited digital devices and uneven internet access, this activity still succeeded in creating an innovative and transformative learning space. Furthermore, this training makes a significant contribution to supporting the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the areas of digital literacy, independence, mutual cooperation, and creativity. It also serves as an effective means to instill the value of digital responsibility and foster a learning culture that is adaptive to technological change. The success of this program demonstrates that a simple yet applicable technology-based approach like Thunkable can be replicated in other schools, particularly in the 3T (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost) regions, with the support of structured and collaborative training.

In today's digital era, technology plays a crucial role in supporting innovative, interactive, and engaging learning processes. Education is no longer limited to the use of conventional textbooks and whiteboards, but has been transformed through the integration of various digital media. In this context, digital literacy has become a key competency that students must possess. Digital literacy encompasses not only the ability to access and understand information from various digital sources but also involves critical thinking and collaborative skills, as well as the wise, ethical, and responsible use of technology. Studies show that the appropriate and targeted use of digital media can increase students' interest in reading materials and other learning activities. Interactive and visually appealing digital media can stimulate students' curiosity, enrich the learning experience, and increase their motivation. Furthermore, the use of digital technology also provides opportunities to develop creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Technology-based learning enables more effective learning differentiation, allowing students to learn at their own pace and learning style. This is highly relevant in the context of 21st-century education, which demands information literacy, technology literacy, and media literacy. As learning facilitators, teachers are required not only to be proficient in using technology but also to design learning that integrates curriculum content with available digital potential. Therefore, optimal use of digital technology can be a strategic solution in creating a generation that is digitally literate, creative, innovative, and able to adapt to increasingly dynamic and complex developments. To achieve this goal, collaboration between schools, the government, and parents is essential in providing adequate access to and training in sustainable educational technology.
