The activity carried out by MIT-18 Post-109 UIN Walisongo Semarang KKN students lasted for one month starting from July 2024 involving 15 stakeholders. The methods used include lectures, questions and answers, and online registration tutorials in collaboration with Pendampingan Produk Halal (PPH) of the Ministry of Religion of Kendal Regency. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' awareness and understanding of the importance of Halal certification, as well as the acceleration of the business legalization process through an easily accessible and free independent declaration system. This support is expected to increase the value of products and support business sustainability through strong legitimacy. Micro, small and medium enterprises play an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in Muslim-majority societies where halal products are highly regarded. Halal certification is not only important for consumers, but also makes products more competitive in the market. However, there are still many in Indonesia that have not received halal certification, including in Krajangkulon Village, Kendal Regency. This is due to lack of information, lack of understanding of the certification process, and administrative obstacles such as obtaining a Company Identification Number (NIB). Therefore, this study highlights the importance of intensive support and socialization to increase awareness and understanding of Halal certification in order to support sustainable economic growth and provide assurance to consumers.

This study examines how digitalization can increase market access and competitiveness of MSMEs in villages, as well as how implementing energy efficiency practices can reduce the burden of operational costs faced by business actors. Apart from that, this research also discusses the challenges faced by MSMEs in villages in adopting digital technology and energy efficiency practices, as well as solutions that can be implemented to overcome these challenges. The research results show that the integration of digitalization and electricity efficiency can make a significant contribution to improving the performance of MSMEs in the village, which in turn has a positive impact on improving the overall village economy. This article discusses the importance of business legality, especially in obtaining Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and Halal Certificates for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gentong Village, Pasuruan. Gentong District has many MSMEs that play an important role in the local economy, but face challenges in understanding and managing business legality, which results in limited access to wider markets. This article highlights the mentoring program carried out using the Service Learning method, which involves direct interaction between academics, students and MSME actors. This program aims to increase the understanding and skills of MSME players in managing NIB and Halal Certificates, as well as overcoming bureaucratic obstacles which often become obstacles in managing business legality. Through this approach, MSME players are expected to be able to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of their businesses. This article also examines relevant theories, such as Legitimacy Theory, Social Capital Theory, and Market Access Theory, which support the importance of business legality in building reputation, expanding markets, and reducing legal risks. The results of this mentoring program show that with adequate business legality, MSMEs in Gentong Village are able to expand business networks, increase credibility, and access larger market opportunities, both at the local and international levels. Thus, business legality is not only an administrative fulfillment, but also an important business strategy for the growth and sustainability of MSME businesses amidst increasingly tight market competition.

Badung Regency is one of the regencies/cities in Bali Province with significant potential in the small industry sector, particularly within several Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) spread across various areas in Badung Regency. One example is Darmasaba Village, which is home to 35 small-scale tile manufacturing businesses scattered across different banjars within the village. This indicates that Darmasaba Village has a substantial number of tile industries that continue to thrive in the Abiansemal District of Badung Regency. However, over time, the clay tile industry has experienced a decline due to the availability of many alternative materials, such as concrete roofs, metal tiles, aluminium roofs, and UPVC (Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride) roofs. The objectives of this study are (1) to analyse the simultaneous effects of capital, work hours allocation, and business age on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village, and (2) to analyse the partial effects of capital, work hours allocation, and business age on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village. The data used are primary, with 35 respondents participating. The analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression. The results indicate that (1) capital, work hours allocation, and business age have a significant simultaneous effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village; (2) capital and business age have a positive and significant effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village; (3) work hours allocation has a negative and significant effect on the income of tile manufacturers in Darmasaba Village.

The advancement of digital technology has revolutionized marketing from traditional methods to online approaches. Digital marketing, leveraging digital media and the internet, including e-commerce and social media, has become a crucial element in promoting products and services. According to Kotler and Keller (2023), digital marketing not only boosts sales but also strengthens brand identity and fosters customer relationships. In Indonesia, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which significantly contribute to the local economy, can utilize digital marketing to expand their market reach and improve efficiency. This study was conducted in Ngampel Kulon Village, Kendal Regency, Central Java, focusing on MSME operators and aspiring entrepreneurs who have not fully utilized digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business. The research method involved observation, economic potential identification, and training using a Participatory Rural Approach. The training covered four main components: an introduction to digital marketing basics, copywriting techniques, digital marketing strategies, and hands-on practice with guidance. Results showed that 34 local residents and 15 KKN students exhibited high enthusiasm and successfully applied promotional strategies through social media. The evaluation indicated an improvement in knowledge and skills in using WhatsApp Business for product marketing. The conclusion is that the training successfully enhanced MSMEs' understanding and skills in digital marketing, including digital content creation and social media utilization. The program also emphasizes the need for policy makers' involvement in planning and managing local product marketing to compete globally and adapt to ongoing technological trends.

The existence of micro businesses for a country is important and is an indicator for assessing societal civilization. In reality, the current conditions in society are that there are still many micro business actors who do not know and have not registered a business permit, one of which is the residents of Kilasah Village, Kasemen District, Serang City. This can happen because of the lack of literacy regarding business legality and the benefits of NIB. So under these conditions, tum PkM provides assistance in making NIBs to MSMEs in Kilasah Village as a solution to the problem of not developing their businesses. The implementation of PkM goes through four stages, namely the observation stage of partner problems, the preparation stage, the implementation stage which contains providing education and motivation for registering business legality, as well as filling out the NIB form directly to the MUI. The result of this activity is that through the mentoring program for making NIB business legality, MSME actors in Kilasah Village understand NIB and understand the benefits of legality of their business. Through the mentoring program for making NIB business legality, MSME actors in Kilasah Village understand and can practice the steps and flow, as well as procedures for making NIB. This activity is to improve the skills of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in product photo documentation, as well as their skills in editing product photos for online marketing purposes. MSMEs are expected to be able to publish product photos that are well documented and have high publication value. Product photos can visually represent the unique attributes of an entity, such as its shape, philosophy and color, to characterize the entity. This entity can be an institution, company, product, or something similar. Typically, a photo has an underlying ideology that is used to depict a product. Usually, a photo has a different idea and concept that differentiates it from other brands. The product photo optimization training activity received several requests from participants aimed at increasing MSME business marketing efforts through social media. Therefore, partners must develop program activity strategies that can meet the specific needs of MSME players, especially those who have not yet fully used social media to optimize their product photos
