Prolonged sitting habits among university students increase the risk of postural abnormalities such as forward head posture and rounded shoulders, which may lead to low back pain and reduced quality of life. The lack of postural awareness and limited preventive interventions on campuses are pressing issues to address. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of an educational and corrective exercise program consisting of back strengthening and mobility exercises on improving student posture. This study applied a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. A total of 30 students with ≥4 hours/day of sitting participated in a 4-week intervention program (3 sessions per week). Measured parameters included Forward Head Posture (FHP), Rounded Shoulder Posture (RSP), and the Postural Awareness Scale (PAS). Data were analyzed using paired t-tests. The results indicated significant reductions in FHP (mean decrease of 2.30 cm) and RSP (mean decrease of 7.2°), along with a significant increase in PAS scores (mean increase of 15.49 points) with p < 0.01. The program effectively improved both postural alignment and awareness. A combination of postural education and corrective exercises is effective in improving student posture. This intervention is recommended as a preventive and promotive approach to musculoskeletal health in university settings.

Childbirth through cesarean section can cause discomfort for the mother, one of which is pain arising from the abdominal incision wound. Footbath therapy is one of the methods that can be used to alleviate this pain. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of footbath therapy in reducing pain intensity in patients who have just undergone a cesarean section. This research uses a descriptive method with a case study design in the context of nursing care. The subjects of this study are two patients who have just undergone a cesarean section and are experiencing mild to moderate pain. The instruments used in this study are an observation sheet in the form of a PQRST pain assessment questionnaire, NRS (Numerical Rating Scale) pain scale measurement, and standard footbath therapy procedures. The research was carried out from 14 May 2024 to 15 May 2024 for the first respondent and for the second respondent it was carried out from 17 May to 18 May 2024 with implementation for 2 days and in 1 day it was carried out for 20 minutes. The results of this study showed that both respondents experienced a decrease in pain after giving footbath therapy. This research aims to develop and apply a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm to detect handwritten Roman numerals. Handwriting recognition is a classic challenge in the fields of image processing and machine learning, especially for less common characters such as Roman numerals. In this research, we use data augmentation techniques to increase the diversity and number of datasets used in model training, which is expected to increase model accuracy and generalization. The dataset used consists of 1,120 images for testing and 280 images for validation, each of which is divided into 14 classes of Roman numerals I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, L, C, D , and M. Image data was created directly using simple software, namely Paint version 6.3. This research uses the Python programming language and Google Colab as a computing platform. Model training was carried out for 300 epochs and showed significant accuracy in the 150th to 300th iteration. The results at the 300th epoch show an accuracy of 0.9607 and a loss of 0.1162. The implementation of this algorithm shows significant potential in practical applications, such as in the fields of education and historical documentation. The conclusion of this research is that data augmentation is an effective technique to improve the performance of CNN models in detecting handwritten Roman numerals.

Premenstrual syndrome is a set of physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms that occur cyclically before menstruation, typically 1-14 days prior and disappear once menstruation begins. The COVID-19 pandemic can exacerbate this situation by increasing academic and social stress levels among adolescent girls. Through counseling and practical sessions, adolescents are provided with an understanding of the importance of reproductive health and physical skills to manage dysmenorrhea symptoms. This community service aims to reduce primary dysmenorrhea symptoms in adolescent girls at Al-Hidayah Middle School, South Jakarta, through the implementation of health and fitness education. The methods used include providing Health and Fitness Education with pre-tests and post-tests to measure their understanding of dysmenorrhea; teaching adolescents how to reduce menstrual pain through videos, guided by educators and accompanied by assistants; and conducting evaluations to ensure understanding and enhance their interest. The results showed an increase in knowledge and a reduction in PMS anxiety among the adolescent girls. In conclusion, this activity successfully improved adolescents' understanding of reproductive health, but further evaluation is needed to measure its long-term impact.

Fracture is one of the causes of disability caused by trauma due to an accident. Fractures can be caused by direct trauma, for example a collision or blow that results in a broken bone. Splinting is an action carried out as first aid for musculoskeletal injuries so that the injured body part can rest, avoid shifting of the injured bone and reduce the level of pain. By using a splint, the skeletal muscles that are experiencing spasm will slowly relax, thereby reducing the level of pain and holding parts of the body from shifting and reducing pain. To determine the application of splint therapy to reduce the pain level of femur fracture patients in IGD at RSUD Tidar Magelang. The research method used a case report with the nursing intervention of providing splints on the pain level of fracture patients. Conducted 3 observations every 30 minutes on the patient Mr. M, 27 years old, who was involved in a traffic accident. From the results of the research, a nursing intervention was carried out, namely by providing a splint dressing for 3 observations every 30 minutes. The result was that there was a decrease in the level of pain before and after the splint dressing. Based on research conducted with Mr. Therefore, the reduction in pain levels in femur fracture patients with splint dressing in the emergency room at Tidar Hospital Magelang can be concluded that splint therapy has an effect on the pain level of fracture patients by reducing the level of the pain scale.
