The development of environmentally friendly technology for processing solid waste towards waste-free production is an important step in maintaining environmental sustainability. Solid waste generated from various sectors has the potential to pollute the environment if not managed properly. The purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of developing environmentally friendly technology in processing solid waste towards waste-free production. The method used in writing this article is using the literature review method. Literature reviews are used to collect information about the types of solid waste produced in Indonesia, technologies that can be used to manage solid waste, as well as the concept of clean production or zero waste production. The development of environmentally friendly technology is the main key in overcoming the solid waste problem, with the potential to create new economic opportunities. To achieve waste-free production, cooperation between government, industry, academia and society is needed. With good cooperation, solid waste management towards waste-free production can become a reality that provides great benefits for the environment, economy and community welfare.

Waste bank management is an important innovation in efforts to maintain environmental sustainability. One approach that is increasingly developing is the application of ecoenzymes in managing waste banks together with the community. Ecoenzymes, as natural bioactivators, have a significant role in accelerating the decomposition process of organic waste, reducing waste and improving compost quality. This research was carried out in the coastal area, Sidamukti Village, Sukaresmi District on February 14 2024. This research aims to evaluate the benefits of ecoenzymes in managing waste banks in collaboration with the community. Participatory/field methods are used to involve activities with the community in the process of collecting, separating and managing waste. The research results show that the application of ecoenzymes can increase composting efficiency, reduce carbon footprints, and provide unique works of art from waste management that have economic value. In addition, collaboration with the community involves them actively in the waste management process, increases environmental awareness, and creates a positive impact on environmental cleanliness. Therefore, the implementation of ecoenzymes in managing waste banks with the community provides great ecological and social benefits, supports efforts to maintain environmental sustainability and improves the quality of life of the community.

To create a clean tourist village, the people of Kandri Village carry out waste management using the 3R system (reduce, reuse, recycle). This system takes the form of a waste bank that effectively manages inorganic waste while providing economic benefits for the surrounding community. One of the active waste banks in Kandri Village, Gunungpati District is the "Nuri" Waste Bank which is located at RT 09 RW 04. To develop inorganic waste management at this waste bank, it is necessary to socialize and build an inorganic waste storage space which is carried out in the form of 'Devotion' activities. to Society'. The method includes physical construction and socialization of inorganic waste management at the "Nuri" Waste Bank. The final result of this activity is the development of a physical building for storage space for segregated and weighted inorganic waste at the "Nuri" Waste Bank before it is collected by officers. Another result is the socialization of the management of the "Nuri" Waste Bank which is expected to increase community participation and provide environmental and economic benefits, especially for the people of Kandri Village, Gunungpati District.

The community has the right to get a clean, beautiful, comfortable and healthy environment; get cleaning services; utilizing and processing waste; actively participate in waste management activities; and obtain information from local governments and/or other parties that are directly related to the sustainability of life related to waste. This right has direct implications for the community's obligations regarding the management of household waste and/or similar household waste by being obliged to reduce and/or handle waste in an environmentally sound manner. Unfortunately, the handling of environmentally sound waste has not gone well due to inadequate facilities, enforcement of regulations, and low awareness of the community itself. PT. Wahana Anugerah Energi has developed a waste collection and transportation system using a smartphone application called Rapel. Rapel campaigns for sustainable waste management in households. Currently, Rapel provides garbage pick-up services, especially for recycled waste. However, the problems faced include: wide community reach but with Human Resources (HR) PT. The Wahana Anugerah Energi (Rapel Surakarta) is limited, facilities and infrastructure for the ongoing development of understanding of waste management for the community are not sufficient, the application of Rapel is not yet known by the people of Surakarta. overcome, the lack of public awareness of Surakarta City regarding waste management, lack of cooperation and coordination with agencies related to waste problems so that Rapel technology has not received public knowledge, Surakarta people do not know about data integration related to environmental information. From this problem, we  design a social marketing communication program so that Rapel Indonesia's goal of encouraging people to sort household waste can be achieved. To achieve this, we design a waste sorting workshop by presenting credible sources such as Lyfe With Less Representative and Rapel Indonesia Manager. Bookkeeping administration is an important aspect in waste bank activities because it has the benefit of recording and carrying out complete and detailed reporting within a certain time period, so that there are no differences in calculations between customers and the Waste Bank management. The importance of bookkeeping administration in managing the Waste Bank (recording the entry and exit of each type of waste managed by the Waste Bank), can help optimize waste management and increase the effectiveness of waste management. Simple bookkeeping (in the form of Socialization) was introduced in the transaction cycle at the Bank Sampah "Sami Berkah", Kelurahan Meteseh, Kecamatan Tembalang, Semarang (making a Chart of Account, Journal from proof of transactions, posting to the ledger and subsidiary books, up to making Financial Reports). The administrative management of the Bank Sampah Sami Berkah has met the minimum requirements of the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, starting from books, officers, waste reception schedules, until the waste deposited has been sorted by customers/members. Likewise, the duties and responsibilities of waste bank management officers are in accordance with the job and description of the organizational structure. The proposed use of the information system at the "Sami Berkah" Waste Bank is the use of an Android-based application or web system (mobile web access) in order to accommodate the need for faster and easier information access for customers/Members and Waste Bank managers, as well as being able to overcome the Bank's operational problems. Waste starts from customer registration, savings transaction processes to reporting, efficiently and with integrity. and easy to manage by admins and monitored by users directly.

Partners in this PPM activity are Village Apparatus and several community representatives of Sumur Gedang Village, Sungai Full City, Kerinci. Based on the analysis of the situation, the main problem faced by partners today lies in the phenomenon of waste which continues to increase in volume which causes environmental pollution, especially related to cleanliness and health. The increasing population and community activities greatly affect the increasing volume of waste in rural areas. Various kinds of pollution that occur due to piles of garbage so that the impacts caused include environmental damage, changes in health conditions. Support, participation and awareness from various parties, especially waste management drivers, is one of the keys to the success of good waste management. Based on these problems, through this activity, several solutions to solve problems will be provided. The method of implementing activities uses a participatory approach through training and mentoring activities, with measurable achievement targets. The results of PPM activities that have been carried out are obtained as a result of the PPM team has carried out all forms of training and simple practices to partners including in making natural compost by utilizing leftover vegetable pieces from households that can be used as natural fertilizer to fertilize the soil. In addition, the team practiced processing plastic waste to be used as handicrafts and other products which are expected to be attractive and can be resold in the future.

Waste management poses an inevitable challenge in human life and is often poorly handled. One type of waste causing significant issues is solid organic waste from households, which can lead to unpleasant odors and soil and water pollution due to its high organic content. However, the potential of organic waste to be converted into biogas, as an alternative energy source, can be harnessed through anaerobic processes. In this experiment, the researchers aimed to observe the effectiveness of adding additives to organic waste with varying doses. The organic content in the substrate for anaerobic microbes was represented by VS (volatile solid), with the inoculum sourced from cow dung. The experiment results indicate that adding NPK fertilizer additives with different doses increases biogas production. This suggests that the use of NPK additive can enhance the efficiency of anaerobic processes in generating biogas from organic waste.

A health facility is a meeting place for people who are affected by disease and who provide health services, as well as for people and their surroundings. Therefore, it can spread disease if the hospital environment conditions are inappropriate; one that is generated from the hospital is waste. The objective of this study is to be able to find out the analysis of the management of solid medical waste at the Puri Cinere Depok Hospital in 2022. The results of the research on solid medical wastes have been carried out in accordance with the operational standards contained in the Sanitation Hospital according to Kemenkes No. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004. The purpose of the clearance is to make disposal and destruction easier so that there are no mistakes in the final process. The collection of waste from the hospital to the B3 temporary storage facility is carried out so that the waste is properly sorted before being placed in the temporary shelter so that it can be disposed of and handled properly in the final process. The disposal used for the disposal of waste at the temporary disposal site is good because it has already carried out the sorting well and adjusted the operational standards for the containers used. The transportation carried out by Cinere Depok Puri Hospital has been in accordance with the procedures established by the government, as the transportation is carried out by Oxularry officers with self-protection equipment provided for safety in transportation, either from the room to the storage site or from the warehouse to the final disposal site. The collection to the final disposal site from the temporary storage site is sufficiently good, as it is sorted and weighed before being taken to the last disposal place. The final disposal or disposal of waste is already working together with PT. Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri (PPLi) because it does not have an inquirer and land for disposal, so the Hospital Puri Cinere Depok uses a third party that has been authorized and certified, but for wastewater management, it has been assured that it can be itself because it already has the equipment.

Household organic waste is one of the largest contributors to municipal solid waste in Indonesia and, if not properly managed, can cause significant environmental pollution. The utilization of organic waste through anaerobic digestion to produce biogas offers an environmentally friendly solution while simultaneously providing a renewable energy source. This study aims to analyze the potential of biogas production from household organic waste and to evaluate the quality of the resulting biogas. The methodology includes collecting household organic waste samples, conducting fermentation in a laboratory-scale digester, and measuring the volume and methane content of the produced biogas. The results indicate that household organic waste, particularly food residues, contains a high level of organic matter, enabling significant biogas generation with methane concentrations suitable for alternative fuel use. The utilization of household organic waste for biogas production not only supports waste reduction efforts but also contributes to the development of clean and sustainable energy.

The growth rate of the population has become a problem in the environmental context, both at the regional, national, and global levels. This issue has become a topic with the awareness that an increase in population affects human socio-economic activities that threaten the environment. This research aims to find out the waste management system planning in the Al-Amin Living Lab and Industrial Park area. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a literature study research method through a literature study derived from previous research journals related to the title. The results of this study indicate that the waste management planning in Kutalimbaru Sub-District, Sampe Cita Village, in the Al-Amin Living Lab and Industrial Park area focuses on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 3234-2008, including activities such as sorting, composting, and recycling. Implementing a new waste management paradigm, such as collecting, sorting, transporting, processing, and disposing, views waste as a resource with economic value that can be utilized.

The Bolotomo cattle breeder group in Wingkosigromulyo Village, Nkombol District, Purworejo Regency, has been established since 2010 with the help of subsidies from the local Livestock Service. Initially, they focused on producing organic fertilizer, but switched to the feeder cattle and meat business because the selling price of fertilizer was low. Livestock management is still traditional, and concentrate feed is rarely used because it is expensive and difficult to obtain. In the dry season, food availability is limited, and rice straw and field grass are the main food sources. The service activity by Tidar University students aims to help farmer groups overcome the feed crisis with technology for making pellets from local materials. Demonstration of making pellets using a mixture of calliandra leaf flour, rice bran, pineapple peel, molasses and tapioca flour. Pellets have the advantage of improving feed quality, consumption efficiency and shelf life. Farmers also shared their experiences and expressed the need for processing livestock waste, such as biogas plants, to reduce pollution and increase income. Integration between the agriculture, fisheries and livestock sectors is the focus for sustainable development.

The production of clothing produced by the textile industry cannot be separated from the use of dyes. The dyes that have been used of course become waste which can have an impact on the damage to the water ecosystem if they do not go through a waste treatment process. This research discusses the extent to which law enforcement has been carried out regarding the behavior of the textile industry which disposes of its clothing dye liquid waste haphazardly when viewed from statutory regulations. In this research the author uses normative legal research methods using legal sources from primary legal materials in the form of environmental law legislation and secondary legal materials in the form of books and articles regarding waste management. The conclusion obtained in this paper is that liquid textile dye waste is a dangerous waste that can damage the condition of water and river environments if its disposal is not based on the provisions of applicable laws and regulations.

This research discusses community empowerment through the Bersami Waste Bank (BSB) program. The aim of this research is to find out the process of community empowerment through the Bersami Waste Bank program in Pisangan Village, the supporting and inhibiting factors in carrying out empowerment and the Bersami Waste Bank's efforts to improve family welfare for its customers. This research is qualitative research in collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Triangulation is used to explain the validity of the data obtained. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the community empowerment carried out by the Bersami Waste Bank is in accordance with the stages of community community empowerment. The research results revealed that community empowerment through the Bersami Waste Bank was carried out through four stages, namely the awareness stage, understanding stage, utilization stage and use stage. Bersami Waste Bank can empower its community so that customers gain benefits from waste management in the form of money from savings and skills after training in waste recycling to sell from recycled waste. This is an effort by the Bersami Waste Bank to improve family welfare for its customers.

Most waste generation is found in the surrounding environment,  from household waste and the increasing waste needs to be managed starting from the household level. Housewives' behavior in 3R-based waste management (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) is influenced by several factors such as knowledge, attitudes and education. The aim of this research is to determine the factors related to housewives' behavior in 3R-based waste management. This type of research is analytical observational research with a cross sectional design. The population of this research is all housewives in Pondok Kemuning Village, totaling 450 housewives. The sample for this research consisted of 52 respondents. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The research results show that the factors related to 3R-based waste management behavior using bivariate analysis are knowledge (p-value 0.004), attitude (p-value 0.03), and education (p-value 0.03). Therefore, education and training activities related to waste management are carried out for the community, especially using the 3R concept method (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) which is easy to apply on a household scale so that it can minimize waste generation and increase skills and knowledge in the community..

Findings suggest that adopting SSCM practices not only improves environmental outcomes but also leads to increased profitability and customer loyalty.

Waste is material that has no value or is worthless for ordinary or primary purposes in the manufacture or use of damaged or defective goods in manufacturing or excess or rejected or discarded material. In the provisions of Article 2 paragraph 1, it is also stated that waste managed under the law can consist of: 1) household waste, 2) waste similar to household waste, and 3) specific waste. Community Service (PKM) Socialization to Increase Community Awareness About Waste Management in Alukh Bakhu Village, Southeast Aceh Regency was carried out on 9-11 February 2024, totaling 45 people. Socialization is provided regarding waste and types of waste, sorting productive non-organic waste and special waste, waste management steps, the impact of throwing waste anywhere and sorting waste using 3R. To maintain environmental sustainability, an active role is needed, community participation (not only individuals, most of whom are housewives as the target of activities), support, and collaboration between industry and academic partnerships to encourage the development of waste storage management and its positive contribution to the environment.

Lewirato District aims to improve cleanliness and health by fostering a caring attitude among its residents. The strategy includes educational programs, community clean-up drives, and sustainable practices. Regular monitoring and evaluation ensures program effectiveness and provides benefits to the community. The KKN program was implemented in Mpunda District, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, from August 2023 to September 2023, aiming to improve the quality of life of residents in Lewirato Village. This initiative includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, with a focus on waste management, environmental cleanup, and community involvement. Program achievements are assessed throughout the process. This community service activity for STIE Bima in Lewirato Village produces output in the form of a unified organic and inorganic waste bin, a clean landfill environment, a clean and comfortable field, water and the environment. the surrounding environment is not polluted and clean, and a clean environment is pleasing to the eye. With this activity, it is hoped that the people of Lewirato can develop a more caring attitude and develop themselves in an effort to maintain a clean and healthy environment. community environment. The Final Report of the Community Service Program (PPMT) in Bleder Ngadiharjo Hamlet implements the innovation of the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to strengthen the utilization of recycled resources. By involving active participation of the local community, the program aims to enhance environmental awareness and skills in waste management. Through educational approaches and training, the activities promote sustainable practices in waste management and reduction. Program evaluation indicates a significant improvement in waste management efficiency and creative waste utilization. Collaboration among various stakeholders, including local institutions and communities, is key to the success of the program. Thus, the PPMT in Bleder Ngadiharjo provides a sustainable positive impact on the community and the surrounding environment, while promoting awareness of the importance of sustainable practices in daily life.

This research aims to determine the influence of preventive discipline and work rotation on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the Integrated Waste Management Unit of the DKI Jakarta Province Environmental Service. In this research, researchers used quantitative methods with research hypothesis testing carried out using outer model and inner model tests in SEM-PLS with the help of the SmartPLS version 4.0 program which is useful for analyzing the effect of preventive discipline and work rotation on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. in the Integrated Waste Management Unit of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environmental Service using 150 respondents who were distributed through questionnaires in the Integrated Waste Management Unit area of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environmental Service. The results of the research that has been carried out are as shown in the following brief explanation: (1) The Preventive Discipline Variable (X1) influences Employee Performance (Y). (2) The Job Satisfaction variable (Z) influences employee performance (Y). (3) The Job Rotation Variable (X2) influences Employee Performance (Y).
