Following their primary education at home, children attend school where they learn to read, write, and count. Aside from that, school is a place where children can develop their minds and learn about morals and ethics. As a second learning environment after home, schools should provide students with opportunities to hone and gain knowledge for their future needs. However, the prevalence of bullying in the school environment scares some students. The method of this research uses an outreach campaign to educate elementary school students about bullying prevention. As a result of this service, bullying among elementary school students continues in the school environment. This hurts the behavior of children who are still young during their growth and development.

The purpose of this study is to examine how mosques in Talang Sebaris Village, Air Periukan District, Seluma, contribute to children's religious education. In addition to being places of worship, mosques have significant social and educational roles in society, particularly in the development of children's religious understanding and character. This research examines several programs and activities started by mosques to encourage religious education, like children's recitations, Al-Qur'an Study Places (TPQ), and other religious activities. It does this using a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data was gathered through observation, interviews with parents, kids participating in these programs, and managers of the mosque. The study's findings indicate that Talang Sebaris Village's mosque has a big influence on how kids understand religion and morality. The success of these initiatives is, however, hampered by a lack of facilities and teaching personnel due to resource constraints. According to this research, mosques should get more community and governmental assistance in order to continue serving as hubs for longer-lasting and more efficient religious instruction.

Education is one of the main pillars in human resource development, and effective education policies are essential to achieve this goal. This study aims to analyze education policies in Bogor City with an Islamic education approach, which emphasizes moral values, ethics, and character. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through documentation studies and in-depth interviews. Data were collected from various sources, including regional education policy documents, education evaluation reports, and interviews with education officials, educators, and local community leaders. The results of the study indicate that education policies in Bogor City have integrated several elements of Islamic education, such as an emphasis on noble morals, student character development, and the creation of a conducive learning environment. However, this study also identified several challenges in implementing the policy, including the lack of training for educators on the application of Islamic values in teaching, the uneven distribution of educational resources, and the lack of community participation in the education process. Further analysis revealed that existing education policies do not fully reflect the principles of holistic Islamic education, which should include spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. This study recommends the need to strengthen the curriculum based on Islamic character education, increase training and professional development for educators, and increase collaboration between the government, schools, and the community in creating a more conducive educational environment. Thus, it is hoped that education policies in Bogor City can be more effective in forming a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has a deep understanding of Islamic values, is able to contribute positively to society, and becomes a role model in everyday behavior.

This research is motivated by changes in the community that carries out the mitoni tradition. The mitoni tradition is a native tradition of Java pioneered by Hinduism and Buddhism, which used to be carried out in the Javanese or Kejawen way but has changed over time. This change is caused by the development of an increasingly modern era and the arrival of Islam to Indonesia. The changes that have occurred are about the elements of the ritual, from the original complete Kejawen ritual to a more spiritual tradition that has an Islamic feel without leaving the core of the tradition and the noble values contained. This research is a qualitative research that uses the type of field research and data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods. Then the analysis technique is through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The informants in this research are the village head, religious leaders, traditional leaders and several people from Bangun Rejo Village, South Solok Regency.  The results of this study indicate that in the implementation of the mitoni tradition there are several processions carried out during the day and night, where the processions carried out during the day are not all in accordance with Islamic teachings. Along with the development of an increasingly modern era, there have been many changes in the implementation of the mitoni tradition where some people only carry out the mitoni tradition by holding a simple kenduri and thanksgiving. The implementation of the mitoni tradition also contains Islamic educational values, namely the value of faith education in the form of sungkeman, brojolan, lawuhan, kenduri and kepungan processions. The value of worship education in the form of the siraman procession. The value of moral education in the form of a procession of sending prayers and reading the holy verses of the Qur’an. With the values of Islamic education that have developed in the mitoni tradition, the people of Bangun Rejo Village still maintain the mitoni tradition to this day.

This qualitative study investigates the impact of streamers’ swearing on the morality of Vietnamese teenagers, a topic of increasing importance in the era of digital streaming and online entertainment. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with nine Vietnamese teenagers, providing in-depth insights into their perceptions and attitudes towards the language used by streamers and its influence on their behavior. The thematic analysis of the interview data revealed four key themes: normalization of swearing in digital spaces, delineation between online and offline behaviors, influence of streamers as role models, and critical reflection and selective adoption. The study found that while swearing by streamers was normalized in digital contexts, participants also demonstrated a clear distinction between acceptable behaviors in online and offline environments. Streamers were often viewed as influential role models, affecting the language and attitudes of the adolescents. However, participants also engaged in critical reflection, selectively adopting behaviors that aligned with their personal and cultural values. These findings contribute to the understanding of digital media’s impact on adolescent development, particularly in non-Western contexts. The study underscores the complex interplay between cultural norms, digital media consumption, and moral development, highlighting the need for comprehensive digital literacy and ethical content creation in the digital age.

Climate change represents one of the most critical challenges of the 21st century, demanding immediate and coordinated global action. While various mitigation policies have been developed, including cap-and-trade schemes and carbon taxes, they often fail to fully address ethical concerns, such as equity, justice, and responsibility. This study explores the potential role of Islamic economic principles in strengthening climate change mitigation policies. Islamic economics, grounded in values like justice (Adl), stewardship (Khilafah), and communal responsibility, offers a moral framework that can enhance global efforts to combat climate change. Through a policy review and comparative analysis, the study examines the alignment of Islamic economic values with existing secular climate policies, highlighting their ability to address social and environmental injustices that often arise from traditional approaches. Additionally, the study discusses the practical applications of Islamic finance instruments such as Green Sukuk, Zakat, and Waqf, demonstrating their potential to fund sustainable projects. The integration of these Islamic values into international climate frameworks is shown to offer ethical and inclusive solutions, promoting a more just distribution of the burdens and benefits of climate action. This paper concludes by recommending that Sharia-based frameworks be incorporated into global climate policies and highlights the importance of future research in understanding the role of religious ethics in climate change mitigation.

This study explores the influence of Islamic environmental ethics on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and business decision-making, emphasizing how faith-based ethical frameworks guide sustainable practices in contemporary corporate environments. Grounded in the principles of stewardship (khalifah), justice (adl), and collective welfare (maslahah), Islamic ethics provide a holistic model for aligning profitability with moral and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed-method approach that combines survey research and content analysis, data were collected from 50 Shariah-compliant and ethically oriented companies across multiple industries. The survey measured the integration of ethical values into CSR initiatives, while content analysis of corporate reports evaluated transparency, environmental commitment, and ethical disclosures. The findings reveal that organizations adhering to Islamic ethical principles exhibit stronger environmental accountability, higher ethical compliance, and more sustainable long-term strategies compared to secular firms. These companies perceive environmental responsibility as a moral obligation rather than a regulatory requirement, integrating ethical governance into daily operations and strategic planning. The results also highlight that employee engagement and stakeholder trust improve significantly when CSR activities are guided by Islamic values. Furthermore, case studies of Islamic banks and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Muslim-majority regions demonstrate practical applications of these principles, including the use of zakat and waqf funds for environmental initiatives and community development programs. The study concludes that embedding Islamic ethics into business operations fosters a balance between economic growth, social welfare, and environmental stewardship. It also provides a pathway for strengthening corporate integrity and long-term competitiveness. Future research is recommended to examine the applicability of Islamic ethical principles across different industries and explore their intersection with emerging areas such as green innovation, artificial intelligence governance, and digital finance. Overall, this research underscores the potential of Islamic ethics as a foundation for sustainable business models that harmonize spiritual and economic objectives.

As environmental challenges continue to intensify globally, there is an increasing need for educational systems to foster ecological awareness and sustainable living practices. This paper explores the integration of ecospirituality within religious education, combining deep ecology and faith-based pedagogy to promote environmental consciousness among students. Ecospirituality, a concept that merges ecological awareness with spiritual beliefs, provides a holistic framework that not only encourages ecological stewardship but also aligns these practices with religious values. The paper examines key principles of deep ecology, such as the interconnectedness of all life, biospherical egalitarianism, and anti-consumerism, and explores their application in educational contexts. It also delves into how religious education has historically approached environmental issues, particularly through faith-based pedagogies that emphasize moral responsibility for creation. Using a qualitative research approach, the study conducts content analysis of religious curricula, interviews with educators, and textual examination of religious literature to uncover ecological principles within religious teachings. The findings suggest that the integration of ecological themes into religious education enhances students' understanding of environmental ethics and strengthens their connection to nature. Despite challenges such as resistance to curriculum changes, variations in theological interpretations, and the need for teacher training, the study highlights innovative solutions, including professional development and curriculum adaptation. The comparison with secular environmental education models shows that ecospirituality offers a unique approach by embedding sustainability within spiritual practices. The paper concludes by recommending further research and curriculum development to ensure that ecospirituality can play a central role in shaping a sustainable future through education.

This study explores the effect of Islamic microfinance on empowering rural communities through environmentally sustainable business practices. Rural areas often face significant financial exclusion, with limited access to ethical financial services, particularly for eco-friendly enterprises. Islamic microfinance, grounded in Sharia principles such as risk-sharing, ethical investment, and the prohibition of interest (riba), offers an alternative financing model that can potentially foster both economic and environmental sustainability. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of Islamic microfinance on rural communities, focusing on income growth, the adoption of environmentally sustainable business practices, and social empowerment. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines field surveys and interviews with beneficiaries of Islamic microfinance institutions (IMFIs) in rural areas. Data collection tools included questionnaires, focus group discussions, and institutional reports. Key findings reveal that participants in Islamic microfinance programs experienced significant income growth, an increase in environmentally friendly entrepreneurship (e.g., organic farming and recycling businesses), and enhanced community participation and self-reliance. The discussion highlights how Sharia principles encourage ethical investment and sustainable practices, contributing to a triple-bottom-line impact—economic, social, and environmental. However, challenges such as limited awareness, lack of green finance literacy, and regulatory constraints were identified. A comparison between Islamic and conventional microfinance outcomes showed that Islamic microfinance offers a distinct advantage by integrating moral, social, and ecological responsibilities. The study concludes that Islamic microfinance can serve as a transformative tool for rural development, offering solutions to both economic and environmental challenges. The research underscores the need for supportive policy frameworks and further investigation into the long-term impacts of green Islamic finance.
