Digital Health Edupreneurship is a concept of student empowerment that integrates health education, digital technology, and entrepreneurial skills. Through this approach, students are not only passive recipients of information but also active creators of digital innovations, such as mobile apps, social media content, educational videos, and online platforms, designed to promote healthy behaviors within schools and the broader community. The main objective of this initiative is to explore and analyze how student innovation in digital health can serve as an effective tool for health promotion while simultaneously fostering entrepreneurial spirit among students. The method used in this program involves lectures and interactive demonstrations. The activity was carried out in three stages: planning and preparation, implementation and process, and finally evaluation and monitoring. Throughout the implementation phase, students were guided to form innovation groups, develop relevant digital content, and collaboratively present their ideas. These activities not only encouraged creativity but also enhanced student engagement in real-world applications of both health promotion and entrepreneurship. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ knowledge. Prior to the program, only 25.9% of students were categorized as having good knowledge. After the digital health edupreneurship session, this number increased to 88.9%. These findings indicate that the Digital Health Edupreneurship approach is effective in improving health literacy and cultivating student creativity and entrepreneurial mindset in a practical and collaborative learning environment

Choking is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality among children, particularly those aged 3 years or younger. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2011, there were approximately 17,537 reported cases of choking, with the majority of these incidents occurring in children aged between 12 to 36 months. In 2013, about 34 children per day were taken to emergency departments due to choking (Pendigrot et al., 2019). Furthermore, in Indonesia, it was reported that around 10% of the 430 infant deaths were caused by choking during breastfeeding (Suartini & Kusniawati, 2020). Given this, the need for effective first aid knowledge, especially among mothers of young children, becomes imperative. This community service activity aimed to empower 27 mothers with toddlers in the village of Bangun Rejo, Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, on the essential skills for performing first aid in cases of choking. The program was structured in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation, the participants received theoretical lectures, live demonstrations, and informational leaflets on how to perform first aid for choking. Following the training, an evaluation was conducted to assess the mothers' proficiency in performing the procedure. The results showed a promising outcome, with 19 mothers (70.3%) becoming proficient in first aid for choking, while 8 mothers (29.7%) still lacked the necessary skills despite the training. This outcome highlights the importance of continuous education and practice for parents, especially mothers, to ensure that they can act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. This activity is expected to equip mothers with the skills needed to perform first aid for choking as an immediate response before seeking medical assistance, ultimately helping to reduce the risks associated with choking incidents.

This study examines the impact of the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN Tematik) on rural development, particularly focusing on two main initiatives: the creation of social signage and the renovation of the village security post. The KKN Tematik program serves as a platform for students to contribute to local development through scientific knowledge and participatory approaches. The first initiative involved designing and installing various social signage, such as warnings for “Damaged Road,” “Detour,” and notices for “Obituary,” which played a significant role in improving public awareness about road safety and other community issues. The second initiative focused on renovating the village security post, thereby enhancing local safety infrastructure and encouraging a sense of collective responsibility for the community’s security. The methodology used was participatory, which involved engaging local residents in every phase of the project, from planning to implementation and evaluation. This ensured that the initiatives were not only relevant to the community but also received strong support from local stakeholders. The results highlighted several positive outcomes: a marked improvement in visual communication awareness, increased collective participation in village security, and a better understanding of the role of infrastructure in community well-being. Additionally, the program also contributed to the local economy by employing village workers and sourcing materials locally, which stimulated the regional economy. The success of these initiatives demonstrates that community-based interventions, even on a small scale, can have substantial social and economic impacts, and it also shows that such projects can encourage sustainable rural development by fostering collaboration, strengthening local infrastructure, and promoting community engagement.

Public communication plays a crucial role in delivering targeted transportation information and building a positive image of government institutions in the eyes of the public. One concrete implementation of effective public communication is the Edutrip program, an educational initiative from Surakarta's Tirtonadi Terminal designed to improve public transportation literacy, particularly among students and teachers. This program is not merely an educational visit, but also a strategic tool for Tirtonadi Terminal Public Relations to introduce the terminal's function as a modern and integrated transportation service center. This study aims to analyze the public communication strategies implemented by Tirtonadi Terminal Public Relations in implementing Edutrip, with a primary focus on their interactions with students and teachers as participants. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the results show that Tirtonadi Terminal Public Relations predominantly applies the Public Information model from Grunig and Hunt (1984), namely by conveying one-way information that is educational and factual. However, in practice, elements of the Two-Way Symmetrical model were also found, particularly through question and answer sessions, discussions, and gathering feedback from participants which were then used as evaluation material for future program improvements. In contrast, the Press Agentry and Two-Way Asymmetrical models did not appear dominant, given that the approach used did not focus on excessive promotion or information manipulation, but rather on objective and dialogical education. This adaptive and responsive communication strategy not only increased participants' understanding of public transportation but also helped shape the positive image of Tirtonadi Terminal as a transparent, professional, and educational public institution. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting an appropriate and contextual communication model in building constructive relationships between public institutions and the community.
