Law plays an important role in authority because it serves as a mechanism to legitimize public institutions and government institutions. Judicial power, which is part of state power, must have independence because only through independence can it control and limit legislative and executive power. In this case, independent judges can legally determine whether government actions to protect human rights are appropriate or not. This research uses normative juridical, which is an approach that focuses on legal provisions and legislation. This research approach uses analytical description to clarify the legal issues being discussed. This research uses primary data consisting of legal data in the form of judicial power legislation, coupled with secondary legal data in the form of books, journals, articles and others. The result of this research is that judicial power itself still has challenges that can occur, one of which is the intervention by internal and external judges themselves because of the elemental content of interests and power politics. Another factor is the poor and degraded morality of judges so that they can be bought and bribed by litigants, resulting in a decision that is not based on justice. This is certainly contrary to our constitution, namely the 1945 Constitution and the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

Children have human rights, just like adults have, to protect children's rights, not many parties think about it and take concrete steps. Likewise, efforts to protect children's rights are violated by the State, adults, their own environment or their parents who do not really pay attention to the interests of the child's future. Child protection is not only attached to the individual child, but also to other humans. This is a consequence of humans as social creatures who cannot be separated from other humans. Criminal law then exists to regulate various acts that violate human rights which are then punished. Of course, criminal law cannot be implemented properly if there is no other legal knowledge that accompanies it, including penitentiary law which is known as Penal Law or legal science that studies punishment. The Penitentiary Law is not a legal rule that can immediately punish criminals arbitrarily, but requires human rights to be taken into account. This article focuses on whether penitentiary laws violate human rights or not. The purpose of this paper is to examine in more depth the effectiveness of penitentiary laws in sanctioning sexual crime perpetrators and protecting sexual crime victims. The research method used is normative law with library research techniques analyzed qualitatively using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the research conclude that the Penitentiary Law is a regulation that seeks to continue to fight for the human rights of people who have been violated by the perpetrator of a crime by punishing them, but the model of punishment given still pays attention to the human rights of the perpetrator of the crime being punished.

By enacting legislation to protect, maintain and monitor the importance of human rights. Discrimination refers to unfair or unequal treatment of a person or group based on certain characteristics.Such as injustice regarding race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. This usually occurs in environments such as education, health services, residence and in social interactions. Ethnic discrimination occurs when individuals or groups are judged based on their ethnic origin, which includes cultural identity, language, or national origin. This ethnic discrimination can lead to unequal treatment in terms of economic opportunities, access to health services, or unfair treatment by related institutions. In Indonesia, racial and ethnic discrimination is also a problem faced, although in a different context from other countries. Even though Indonesia has rich cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity, there are still challenges in ensuring fair treatment for all citizens. Several ethnic minority groups in Indonesia may face various obstacles in terms of access to quality education, decent work and adequate health services.

The role of morality in public policy and law enforcement, especially in relation to human trafficking, is increasingly important in the digital era. This article discusses the complexity of these challenges and strategies to prevent human trafficking and protect personal data in Indonesia. A holistic approach is needed, with law enforcement paying attention to the dimensions of morality, integrity and moral courage in policy formulation. In a digital era filled with technological changes, public policy must be able to adapt to these developments while still maintaining strong moral principles. This requires a high level of integrity from policymakers and law enforcers to not only comply with technical rules, but also ensure that their actions are driven by the desire to create a fair and safe environment for all individuals. Recommended strategies include increasing border patrols to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants, cross-border cooperation to cut off human trafficking routes, strengthening regulations related to personal data protection, and increasing public awareness about data privacy. Provisions that protect human freedom in the continuation of their lives, as well as obtaining adequate housing, especially in maintaining what has belonged to them from the start. In the case of residential evictions in the Kampung Bayam area, legal protection for human rights has not been realized to date. The evictions carried out by the DKI Jakarta Government were carried out arbitrarily without considering the impact on residents who lost their homes and also as a form of deprivation of the economic, social and cultural (ekosob) rights of the people of Kampung Bayam. Apart from that, until now too There is no real effort yet to be seen from the government to try to restore the housing rights of the residents of Kampung Bayam. Moreover, Indonesia is a country based on the supremacy of law, which means that Indonesia should make protection and respect for human rights its main focus.

In the ever-evolving digital era, information technology has affected various aspects of life, including law enforcement. One important impact is the use of electronic evidence, including wiretap results, in the criminal justice process. Electronic evidence has a crucial role in detecting and proving various criminal acts such as organized crime, corruption, and terrorism. However, the use of wiretap results as evidence often raises debates regarding its legality and validity, especially in the context of potential violations of human rights such as the right to privacy and freedom of communication. In Indonesia, the legality of electronic evidence is regulated in various laws such as the ITE Law and laws that authorize the KPK to conduct wiretapping. This research aims to analyze the legal position and legality of electronic evidence from wiretapping results in the criminal justice process in Indonesia and its implications for the principles of criminal procedure law. The research method used is normative juridical by conducting a literature study. The results showed that although electronic evidence has been substantially recognized, its regulation in the context of procedural law is still not entirely clear.
