Lower back pain is a common complaint among pregnant women in the third trimester. It is estimated that approximately 70% of pregnant women experience some form of back pain during pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum. Non-pharmacological therapies such as deep breathing relaxation techniques and effleurage massage therapy can effectively reduce pain levels in these women. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental research method and employs purposive sampling with a sample size of 37 participants. Data analysis includes both univariate and bivariate analyses. Most respondents (64.9%) were aged between 20 and 35 years old. Additionally, the majority (64.9%) were experiencing their first pregnancy. All respondents (100%) were confirmed to have no comorbidities. Furthermore, 73% of the participants had tertiary education (Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degrees), and 62.2% continued working during pregnancy. The results of the Wilcoxon test indicated a significant effect (p = 0.000 < 0.05), confirming that effleurage massage and deep breathing relaxation techniques effectively reduce lower back pain in pregnant women. This reduction is attributed to the stimulation of tactile fibers in the skin by effleurage massage, which inhibits pain signals. In conclusion, the findings suggest that implementing effleurage massage and deep breathing relaxation techniques is beneficial for alleviating lower back pain in pregnant women. Public health advice advocates for the application of these techniques to manage such pain effectively.

Background: Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) is a condition when the pad or disc (soft gel disc or nucleus pulposus) between the vertebrae (spine) comes out of its original position or is torn and pinches the nerve behind it. Many people know it as "pinched nerve". HNP most often occurs in the cervical (neck) and lumbar (waist) vertebrae. The neck has 7 vertebrae. Cervical HNP (pinched neck nerve) most often affects the C6-C7 segment followed by the C5-6 segment because this segment is the part that moves most often and is easily affected by the degeneration process. Neck HNP most often occurs in men aged 45-55 years. Risk factors that increase the appearance of cervical HNP or pinched neck nerves include genetics, smoking, being overweight (obesity), work that often involves bending over and lifting heavy objects or operating machines with vibrating forces, and injury. Nerve mobilization in the Upper Limb Tension Test ( ULTT) is performed on branches of the Brachial plexus such as the radial nerve, median nerve and ulnar nerve. But here the author only discusses ULTT on the median nerve, namely ULTT 1 which is related to CTS. The aim is to determine physiotherapy management and the effect of Ultrasoundtherapy therapy and nerve mobilization using the ULTT 1 method in cases of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on reducing pain and increasing the functional ability of the hand. Two group pre test and post test method. RESEARCH PLACE: Physiotherapy clinic, RSU Sidoarjo. TIME: Measuring instrument: Visual Analouge Scale (VAS). Results: treatment using the Mann-Whtney test. With confidence interval (CI) (95%) The results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference in pain in group 1 (p = 0.00) and group 2 (p = 0.00). But there was no significant difference between the two groups in pain improvement (p = 0.152), so there was no better treatment between the two groups. Conclusion: It is concluded that ULTT is useful in treating cervical HNP patients to reduce pain in two groups. The targeted outcomes are publications in national journals indexed by Sinta and HAKI. The TKT target for implementing this gamelan accompaniment exercise is level 2.

Analgesics are compounds that in therapeutic doses relieve or suppress pain, without having general anesthetic action. Traditionally, the herb bamboo grass (Lophatherum gracile Brongn.) has been used and proven empirically to reduce pain, so it may have an analgesic effect. This can be caused by the content of secondary metabolite compounds, flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, steroids/triterpenoids, saponins and glycosides, but this has not been scientifically proven. This research aims to determine the secondary metabolite compounds contained in fresh bamboo grass herbs, simplicia and dekokta and the effectiveness as an analgesic of the bamboo grass herb dekokta in mice. This research was carried out experimentally, including making simplicia and decoction, phytochemical screening and analgesic effectiveness testing. bamboo grass herb dekokta in male mice induced with 0.5% acetic acid intraperitoneally under the stomach, orally administered bamboo grass herb dekokta at a dose of 100 mg/kgBW, 200 mg/kgBW, 300 mg/kgBW, CMC 0.5% (blank), methampirone 65 mg/kgBB. Count the number of animal movements every 5 minutes for 1 hour. From the number of writhes obtained, the percentage of analgesic power and analgesic effectiveness were calculated. Next, the data obtained was analyzed statistically using SPSS ver.20 One Way ANOVA followed by the Tukey test. The results of the phytochemical screening of fresh bamboo grass, simplicia and dekokta contain alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, steroids and glycosides. The greater the dose of bamboo grass herb dekokta given, the greater the percentage of reduction in writhing, so that the analgesic power and analgesic effectiveness are greater. . The results of the One Way ANOVA test and the Tukey test showed that the dose of 300 mg/kgBB had the best analgesic power at 50 minutes, not significantly different from administering 65 mg/kgBB of methampirone.
