Preventing accidents during drilling and well service operations is a constant and primary concern for every company or contractor operating in the upstream business. Accident analyses often identify a number of causative factors and/or anomalies, where equipment-related items play a significant role. This article concentrates on the rig inspection process as a consistent method for detecting equipment-related anomalies before operations commence. These inspections allow necessary repairs to be made in a timely manner, thereby limiting the occurrence of accidents after the rig becomes operational. When thorough and systematic rig inspections are performed, the percentage of accidents where equipment failure is the primary cause remains very low. However, the factor of equipment condition contributing to accidents still persists in a significant number of cases. Drilling rig mast inspection is a crucial component in maintaining the safety and efficiency of drilling operations. This inspection process aims to detect structural anomalies and equipment conditions that could affect rig performance. In this study, we analyze the inspection methods applied to rig masts, including visual inspection, non-destructive testing, and condition monitoring. The results of these inspections are expected to identify potential risks and enable necessary repairs before operations begin. Through the implementation of systematic and standardized inspection procedures, companies can reduce the likelihood of accidents and equipment failures, thereby enhancing workplace safety. This study also discusses the importance of training for inspection personnel to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge and skills to detect potential problems that may arise. Thus, drilling rig mast inspection contributes not only to safety but also to overall operational efficiency.

The purpose of this investigation is to analyze the influence of digital transaction methods on the control mechanisms of cash revenue at the Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel. The study applies a qualitative descriptive design, where information is gathered through interviews, field observations, and the review of supporting documents, including transcripts of discussions. The findings reveal that digital payments at the Grand Hyatt Bali provide convenience to guests in conducting transactions such as transaction speed, recording accuracy, and ease in the verification process. However, the use of digital payments also has a negative impact where digital cash receipts are recorded in the accounts receivable section requiring many supporting documents making it appear less optimal and less functional and highly dependent on the availability and stability of the internet network connection. From an internal control perspective, digital payments help improve transparency and accuracy in cash recording processes. The risk of miscalculations or data manipulation is reduced because transaction evidence is readily available digitally, in the form of sales slips, system notifications, and account statements. The mechanism of internal supervision regarding cash inflows at Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel based on COSO consists of several components, namely the organizational climate, monitoring practices, hazard analysis, exchange of insights and knowledge, and supervision. Overall, the implementation of internal controls has been carried out by all staff, however, the implementation is still not optimal related to the collection of documents that are still late, this is caused by staff knowledge about the documents required when digital payments are still not executed according to the procedures outlined in the SOP.

Coastal areas are vital for ecosystems, social, and economic systems, yet they face challenges like erosion, land-use conversion, and weak community-based management. Serdang Bedagai Regency, located in North Sumatra, has significant ecological and socio-cultural potential, but this potential has not been sustainably managed. This study analyzes strategies for sustainable coastal land management by integrating local wisdom and village government roles. A mixed-method approach was used, including in-depth interviews, field observations, and surveys with 30 respondents from two coastal villages. The qualitative findings reveal that traditional practices, such as prohibiting mangrove cutting and communal conservation traditions, are still alive in the community. The village government plays a crucial role in strengthening institutions through village regulations (Perdes), environmental programs, and spatial monitoring. However, there is a gap between community understanding of ecological values and the implementation of regulations. Quantitative analysis using multiple linear regression shows that both local wisdom and the village government's role significantly influence sustainable coastal land management, with coefficients of 0.491 and 0.426, respectively (p < 0.05). Despite some heteroskedasticity, the model passed tests for multicollinearity and normality. These findings highlight the importance of combining traditional values with institutional support to balance coastal resource utilization and conservation. This study contributes to the development of a socio-ecological coastal governance model and offers practical recommendations for village governments, policymakers, and academics in creating participatory and sustainable coastal preservation programs.

Homogeneous leukoplakia is a mucosal lesion that is mostly white in color with a thin, flat surface that cannot be scraped off, most commonly found on the buccal mucosa, tongue, and floor of the mouth. In contrast to non-homogeneous leukoplakia, which appears white and red, and is nodular, speckled, or granular, non-homogeneous leukoplakia has a higher risk of malignant transformation. However, homogeneous leukoplakia is more commonly encountered than the non-homogeneous type. This article aims to report the management and implementation of communication, information, and education (CIE) in a suspected case of homogeneous leukoplakia in a 20-year-old woman. The patient presented to the Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital in Surakarta with a complaint of a white patch on the tip of her tongue that had been present for six months. The patient had previously undergone scraping with gauze and betadine and was given antibiotics and mouthwash, but there was no significant change. Intraoral examination revealed a white patch on the dorsum of the tongue with a velvety surface, well-defined borders, asymptomatic, soft consistency, and rough texture. The management of this case included a thorough oral cavity examination, as well as providing detailed CIE about the condition experienced by the patient, including the importance of eliminating risk factors and reducing the likelihood of malignant transformation. The patient was also advised to undergo supportive testing, including biopsy, to confirm the diagnosis. In conclusion, homogeneous leukoplakia is a lesion that is mostly white, thin, flat, and cannot be scraped off. Management focuses on appropriate CIE, managing the existing lesions, eliminating causal factors, and monitoring the risk of malignant transformation. The implementation of CIE is effective in improving patient understanding and supporting patient involvement in managing the condition, thereby minimizing complications and long-term risks.

Epilepsy is one of the most common chronic neurological disorders and can affect women of reproductive age, including during pregnancy. Pregnancy in women with epilepsy (WWE) presents various clinical challenges due to the complex interaction between physiological changes in pregnancy, fluctuations in antiepileptic drug (AED) levels, and the increased risk of seizures. Seizures during pregnancy not only pose a threat to maternal safety but also carry potential complications for the fetus, such as hypoxia, trauma, and impaired uteroplacental blood flow. Therefore, the management of epilepsy during pregnancy requires a careful and comprehensive approach. This report presents the case of a 41-year-old woman, G4P2A1, at 37–38 weeks of gestation, who presented to the emergency obstetric unit at Cut Meutia General Hospital with complaints of contractions following three episodes of seizures within the previous 24 hours. The patient had a 16-year history of epilepsy and was on regular neurologist follow-up, but she had discontinued her AEDs three weeks prior due to medication unavailability. She underwent an elective cesarean section with concurrent fimbriectomy as a permanent contraceptive method. Postoperatively, the patient experienced status epilepticus and decreased consciousness for approximately 24 hours. A multidisciplinary approach involving neurologists was implemented, including AED administration, enteral nutrition, close monitoring of vital signs and urine output. The patient's condition gradually improved, and she was discharged on the seventh day in a stable condition with well-healed surgical wounds. This case highlights the importance of optimal seizure control during pregnancy. Preconception counseling, appropriate AED selection, and regular drug level monitoring are essential in minimizing maternal and fetal complications. A multidisciplinary collaboration between obstetricians and neurologists plays a crucial role in achieving favorable outcomes.

Monitoring hemodynamic conditions, particularly oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and heart rate, is a crucial aspect of neonatal care, especially in critical conditions. In addition to therapeutic interventions, supportive measures such as repositioning (postural change) can help optimize ventilation distribution and lung function, which directly affect hemodynamic stability. This study aimed to examine the effect of repositioning on oxygen saturation and heart rate levels in neonates in the Peristi Room at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang. This research employed a one-group pretest-posttest design with 27 neonatal respondents. The procedure involved alternating the neonates’ positions to supine, right lateral, and left lateral for two hours in each position, followed by measurement of SpO₂ and heart rate before and after repositioning. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, as some data were not normally distributed. The results showed a significant difference in heart rate after the right lateral position (p=0.027), while the change in SpO₂ was not significant (p=0.125). The left lateral and supine positions showed no significant changes in either heart rate or SpO₂ (p>0.05). Phlebitis is one of the most common complications that occur as a result of intravenous infusion, especially in pediatric patients. This condition is characterized by inflammation of the vein wall, which can cause pain, redness, and swelling around the puncture site. The high incidence of phlebitis in children requires serious attention because it can prolong hospitalization, increase healthcare costs, and reduce the overall quality of care. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with the occurrence of phlebitis in pediatric patients at RSUI Harapan Anda, Tegal City. This research employed a correlational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 46 pediatric patients undergoing intravenous therapy in the inpatient ward, selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was an observation sheet that included independent variables such as age, chronic illness, duration of infusion, infusion site, type of infusion fluid, and nurses’ skills. The dependent variable was the incidence of phlebitis. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test to determine the relationships between variables. The results showed that most patients were in the toddler age group (1–3 years), had chronic illnesses, underwent infusion for more than 72 hours, had high-risk puncture sites, used hypotonic fluids, and were treated by nurses with insufficient skills. Statistical analysis revealed significant associations between all independent variables and the occurrence of phlebitis. These findings highlight the importance of improving nurses’ competence through continuous training, strict monitoring of infusion duration and fluid type, as well as special attention to high-risk pediatric patients. Such efforts are expected to reduce the incidence of phlebitis and improve the quality of nursing care in hospitals.

Work fatigue is a significant issue faced by employees in Indonesia, with approximately 65% experiencing symptoms that reduce their concentration and performance. Excessive workload, particularly mental workload, can result in cognitive strain and decreased productivity. This study aims to measure the level of mental workload experienced by quality control employees at PT Delta Dunia Tekstil I using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method. The research also investigates the relationship between employees’ age, length of service, and perceived mental workload through T-tests and F-tests to provide a more comprehensive analysis. Data were collected from 20 quality control employees who are responsible for monitoring textile production under strict standards. Results from NASA-TLX calculations indicate that the average mental workload falls within the high category, with effort and own performance emerging as the dominant dimensions contributing to mental strain. Correlation analysis shows a negative but not statistically significant relationship between age, length of service, and mental workload, suggesting that other factors play a stronger role in shaping employees’ perceptions. The study further highlights fluctuations in employee attendance and quality performance indicators, emphasizing the importance of workload evaluation. To address these issues, recommendations include adding more operators per machine, which is projected to reduce mental workload scores by approximately 33%. Such measures can optimize task distribution, improve efficiency, and promote employee well-being. Overall, the findings suggest that systematic workload assessments using tools such as NASA-TLX are essential for enhancing productivity and supporting sustainable human resource management in the textile industry.
