Parking is a public service with the potential to generate revenue for local governments if managed officially and transparently. Law No. 1 of 2022 on Financial Relations between the Central and Regional Governments states that parking taxes and fees are important components of regional income. In Surakarta, parking management is regulated by Mayor Regulation No. 5 of 2024 concerning Procedures for Collecting Parking Fees. However, the rise of illegal parking practices causes revenue leakage, as unofficial parking operations do not contribute through taxes or levies. This study aims to examine law enforcement efforts against illegal parking in Surakarta and its economic impact on local communities. Using an empirical legal research method, the study explores actual behaviors and verbal patterns in the field.Findings reveal that the Department of Transportation and law enforcement authorities in Surakarta adopt both preventive and repressive approaches to tackle illegal parking, aiming to restore order and reduce public losses. These enforcement efforts significantly affect the local economy by increasing regional revenue and fostering a more orderly and business-friendly environment.

This article examines the contributions of two major schools of Arabic grammar, the Basran and Kufan schools, to the development of the theory of ibdal (phonetic substitution) in the Arabic language. Using a historical and comparative approach, it traces the origins of the concept of ibdal in classical Arabic linguistic tradition and explores how leading grammarians from each school shaped distinct theoretical frameworks. The Basran school typically approached ibdal with a logical and systematic perspective, emphasizing phonetic patterns and structured rules of sound transformation. In contrast, the Kufan school adopted a more flexible stance, prioritizing the realities of spoken Arabic usage even if not always supported by formal phonetic justification. This study highlights not only the methodological differences between the two schools but also their long-lasting impact on the grammatical structure of Arabic. The discussion underlines the intellectual dynamics within Arabic grammar scholarship and encourages further exploration into how classical ibdal theories can inform modern linguistic analysis in Arabic studies.

Object detection in digital images is a crucial aspect of image processing and computer vision, with applications ranging from surveillance systems and robotics to image-based search. One commonly used approach is template matching, a technique that compares a template image with sections of the target image to identify similar patterns. This study explores the implementation of the template matching method for object recognition in digital images. The process begins with image preprocessing to enhance data quality, followed by a matching procedure using normalized cross-correlation. Experimental results indicate that this method can accurately detect objects under stable lighting and scale conditions. However, its performance decreases when images undergo rotation or scale variations. Therefore, while template matching proves effective under ideal conditions, further methodological development is needed to improve its robustness against geometric transformations.s

This study aims to identify and analyze syntactic errors made by students in their academic writing. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores in depth the forms of errors that appear and the general patterns formed in students' sentence structures. Data were obtained from various documents of students' academic writing, such as essays, papers, and observation reports. The results of the study indicate that the dominant syntactic errors include incomplete sentence construction, inappropriate use of conjunctions, the influence of regional languages in sentence structures, inaccuracy in phrase formation, and errors in the structure of subjects, predicates, and objects. These findings reflect students' weak mastery of Indonesian language syntax rules. Therefore, more effective learning strategies are needed, such as the use of discovery-based learning methods and providing direct feedback, to improve students' syntactic competence. Syntactic error analysis not only functions as an evaluation of language skills, but also as a basis for developing contextual and relevant teaching materials.

This study aims to understand the dynamics of intercultural communication in the adaptation process of interethnic marriages between Javanese and Madurese couples in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The primary focus is on how couples from different cultural backgrounds develop communication patterns and adjust to one another in their household life. This research employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three interethnic couples who have been married for more than two years. The findings reveal that communication within interethnic households is adaptive and context-dependent. Indonesian is predominantly used as the main language of interaction, serving as a neutral medium easily understood by both parties, while regional languages are preserved for specific cultural situations. Challenges in communication arise from differences in emotional expression and communication styles, which often lead to misunderstandings, especially during the early stages of marriage. However, couples who engage in open and respectful communication are able to overcome these differences and create a harmonious relationship. Cultural adaptation is also reflected in parenting practices, division of household roles, and interactions with extended families. Support from extended families significantly contributes to the process of cultural acceptance. In conclusion, interethnic marriages between Javanese and Madurese couples represent an ongoing negotiation of values and the formation of a new, inclusive family identity through mutual understanding and culturally respectful communication.
