APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) have become a key component in the development of modern digital products and the transformation of cloud-based services. Its ability to provide structured access to data and enable cross-platform integration makes APIs at the core of the enterprise's digital architecture. However, the high level of API openness poses increasingly complex security challenges, including potential data exploitation, injection attacks, credential misuse, and exploitation of business logic loopholes. This article examines the strategic role of APIs in the digital ecosystem, analyzes the operational risks that arise from API exposure, and evaluates the effectiveness of basic defense mechanisms such as API Gateways and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs). The findings of the study show that while both solutions play an important role in controlling access, filtering, and mitigating attacks at the surface layer, they have not been able to provide comprehensive protection against modern API threats that are dynamic, distributed, and often exploit weaknesses at the application and business logic levels. Therefore, a more holistic, layered, and sustainable API security approach is needed, including anomalous behavior detection, API abuse protection, and real-time monitoring to maintain the integrity and reliability of digital services.

The construction industry faces major challenges in managing material inventory, particularly among start-up companies that still rely on paper-based manual records. Such practices often lead to data inconsistencies, delays in decision-making, and project inefficiencies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a cloud-based and real-time inventory management system utilizing spreadsheets at PT X, a start-up contractor located in Karanganyar, Central Java. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with finance staff, logistics administration staff, and the project manager, as well as documentation of material inflows and outflows. The findings reveal that the use of cloud-based spreadsheets enhances data transparency, facilitates real-time monitoring between field and office, and accelerates stock opname validation. The system also supports more responsive decision-making regarding material reordering and request postponements. Nevertheless, several obstacles remain, including limited digital literacy among staff, potential input errors, and reliance on internet connectivity. Theoretically, this research contributes to the literature on accounting information systems and inventory management in small-scale construction sectors. Practically, it demonstrates that low-cost cloud solutions can improve operational efficiency and serve as a foundation for developing more integrated systems in the future.

This research aims to thoroughly examine the implementation of the Batam-Seaport Information Management Sistem (B-SIMS) for the payment of berthing and mooring services carried out by PT. Div Samudera Abadi at Batam Port. The background of the problem includes the government's post-COVID-19 pandemic drive to accelerate the digital transformation of public services, particularly in ports, to enhance efficiency and transparency. The B-SIMS system, developed by the internal team of the Directorate of the Port Business Entity (BUP) of BP Batam, is designed as a digital solution to replace the previously manual, queue-based process for berthing and mooring fee payments. As a ship agent, PT. Div Samudera Abadi is responsible for reporting all ship activities, managing necessary documents, and settling port service payments. The research method employed involves a qualitative and descriptive approach. The findings show that the implementation of B-SIMS has successfully transformed the business process. Ship agents can now submit applications, monitor status, and make payments digitally through the B-SIMS sistem. This transformation significantly contributes to increased port operational efficiency, administrative transparency, and reduced physical contact, aligning with the vision for digitalizing public services in Batam. However, challenges related to sistem adaptation and early stability may still arise.

This study explores how resource-constrained small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia’s advertising sector adapt digital transformation strategies to achieve sustainable development. Using the case of Roxy Maharewa, an SME in Makassar–Gowa, the research examines strategic trade-offs between investing in advanced digital platforms and operationally transformative physical assets. Guided by the Resource-Based View, Strategic Trade-off Theory, and Contingency Theory, this qualitative case study employs semi-structured interviews with key decision-makers. Findings reveal that prioritizing high-capacity production equipment eliminated structural cost disadvantages from outsourced printing, enabling twice to fourth times potential profit margin gains and strengthening market competitiveness. Rather than adopting a fully digital-first approach, the firm employed a hybrid strategy leveraging low-cost digital tools for internal efficiency while maintaining offline relationship management to align with client preferences and infrastructural realities. This asset-led hybrid model demonstrates how SMEs in emerging markets can integrate selective digital adoption with tangible investments to achieve both rapid returns and long-term sustainability. The paper contributes to the discourse on digital transformation by providing a context-sensitive perspective for policymakers and practitioners, emphasizing that in heterogeneous digital readiness environments, blended strategies can deliver superior economic and social.

This study aims to determine the extent to which certain profitability ratios, such as ROA and ROE, influence bank health, moderating these variables using Good Corporate Governance reports. A quantitative approach is used in this study, and secondary data from previous years are required for testing, sourced from PT. BPR BKK Purwodadi's report data. These findings demonstrate that companies with high profitability have incentives to maintain bank health, as this reflects effective operational and managerial performance. Furthermore, organizations with good corporate governance (GCG) generally have greater resources and a robust organizational structure, providing them with more opportunities to maximize performance. This study is expected to provide new perspectives on bank health maintenance practices, particularly for business entities in the banking sector. Particularly in the strategically significant banking industry, the results of this study are crucial for authorities such as the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to understand the relationship between corporate profitability, good corporate governance (GCG), and bank health. This understanding helps in developing more appropriate policies to maintain economic stability and financial fairness. The emphasis on business entities in the regional government-owned banking sector (Perseroda) during 2020 to 2024, a dynamic period with economic fluctuations, banking policy transformations, and major geopolitical challenges, distinguishes this study.

This study offers an in-depth comparative assessment of land registration systems in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Australia, acknowledging that variations in historical evolution, legal infrastructures, and administrative mechanisms have shaped each country’s approach to land governance. These foundational distinctions play a crucial role in determining how effectively each nation provides legal certainty, secures land ownership rights, and administers land records with accuracy and efficiency. The analysis explores how differing registration models—ranging from deeds-based to title-based systems—impact levels of transparency, reliability, and public trust in land management institutions. Furthermore, the study identifies the strengths, limitations, and operational challenges within each framework, demonstrating that no single system is universally superior. Instead, the effectiveness of land registration practices depends on how well they align with the socio-legal context, institutional capacity, and administrative heritage of each region. The findings emphasize the importance of context-specific policy formulation, suggesting that land administration reforms should not merely replicate foreign models but must be adapted to local legal traditions and governance needs. Overall, this research underscores the necessity of designing land registration systems that enhance legal protection, promote efficient land administration, and strengthen the long-term security of landowners’ rights across diverse jurisdictions.

This study develops a strategic information system plan to improve customer service at the Food Mood MSME in the food and beverage sector. The Ward and Peppard framework is used to map the business and technology environment through Value Chain, SWOT, PEST, and Porter's Five Forces analyses, which are then broken down into Critical Success Factors and measurable key performance indicators. The research design is a qualitative case study with semi-structured interviews with the owner and employees, observations during peak hours, and a review of operational documents. The mapping results in a prioritized portfolio that places a cloud-based point-of-sale system integrated with QRIS, a lightweight inventory and procurement module, a kitchen display system, and basic accounting as the foundation, followed by a mini customer relationship management and loyalty program, online channel integration, a sales dashboard, and simple demand forecasting. The formulated performance targets include a wait time of no more than eight minutes, an order error rate below one percent, stock-outs of less than one day per month, and 100% transaction recording. The suggested three-month roadmap is operational and provides immediate benefits in terms of increased service speed, data accuracy, and potential customer retention, while also confirming the relevance of Ward and Peppard's approach for the Indonesian MSME context.

An organization's inability to build employee loyalty amidst competitive business pressures can have a direct impact on productivity, operational efficiency, and the retention of key talent. This study aims to analyze the role of job satisfaction as a key mediator in increasing employee loyalty at PT. Dua Kelinci. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to a total of 190 active employees of PT. Dua Kelinci. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that Motivation, job stress, and job satisfaction were proven to have a significant effect on employee loyalty, while the work environment, workload, and work rewards did not have a significant direct effect. However, the job satisfaction variable was able to significantly mediate the relationship between Motivation, job stress, work environment, and workload on employee loyalty, but did not significantly influence employee loyalty through job satisfaction. These findings confirm that job satisfaction is not only the result of good working conditions, but also a key factor in building and strengthening employee loyalty indirectly. Practically, this study provides an important contribution to companies in designing strategies to increase employee loyalty. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on mediation mechanisms in employee behavior models, particularly in the context of the manufacturing industry.

Digital transformation has changed the way modern organizations measure their success, but traditional performance measurement models have not fully adapted to the needs of the digital age. This study conducted a systematic literature review of 25 high-quality publications from the Scopus, Web of Science, and Emerald Insight databases to identify models and indicators of organizational performance measurement in the digital era. Using the PRISMA 2020 framework and strict inclusion-exclusion protocols, this study analyzes research from the period 2021-2025 with a focus on the integration of the digital dimension in the performance measurement framework. Key findings identify 13 categories of key indicators that consistently appear in the literature, including financial performance, operational efficiency, innovation performance, digital transformation readiness, customer experience, and employee digital capability. The analysis of influence mechanisms found three ways in which digital transformation affects performance: direct effects, mediating effects through dynamic capability and organizational agility, and moderation effects from contextual and organizational cultural factors. The research proposes a three-level integrative framework (strategic, operational, and individual-cultural) that can be differentially adapted according to the size of the organization and the industry sector. The theoretical contribution of this research enriches the academic literature with a systematic synthesis of digital performance measurement, while practical contribution provides evidence-based guidance for organizations in designing a comprehensive performance measurement system that is responsive to the evolving dynamics of digital transformation.
