Tetanus Toxoid (TT) immunization is a key preventive intervention to protect women of reproductive age and newborns from tetanus infection. Despite its importance, limited knowledge among prospective brides may reduce the effectiveness of TT immunization programs. This study aimed to analyze the effect of TT immunization counseling on the knowledge levels of prospective brides at Wayabula Public Health Center. A quantitative study using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted involving 40 prospective brides selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measuring respondents’ knowledge before and after counseling. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used to analyze differences in knowledge levels. The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge after counseling, with the majority of respondents demonstrating higher posttest scores compared to pretest scores and no respondents experiencing a decrease in knowledge. These findings indicate that counseling plays an important role in enhancing understanding of TT immunization, including its purpose, benefits, and preventive value. In conclusion, TT immunization counseling is effective in improving knowledge among prospective brides and should be integrated as a mandatory component of routine immunization services. Strengthening counseling activities is expected to support informed decision-making, promote positive health behavior, and contribute to the prevention of tetanus in mothers and newborns.

The competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia often faces obstacles due to limited product packaging that fails to adequately reflect product quality, uniqueness, and brand identity. Packaging is not merely a protective container but also a strategic communication tool that influences consumer perceptions, shapes brand image, and supports market expansion. This community service program was carried out at the Banana Chips MSME “Bu Tini” in Semarang, which previously relied on simple plastic packaging without graphic design, brand logo, or product information. The main objective of this program was to assist the MSME in developing both the design and functional aspects of packaging as a strategic effort to strengthen branding, enhance product value, and improve competitiveness. The methodology applied was community-based and participatory, consisting of field observation, focus group discussions, collaborative design with the business owner, and prototype testing of new packaging. The results demonstrate that the redesigned packaging highlights a stronger visual identity through logos, colors, and slogans, while also ensuring practicality, durability, and compliance with food safety standards. Furthermore, the new packaging improved information clarity regarding composition, expiration date, and producer details, which significantly increased consumer trust in hygiene and quality. From a broader perspective, the activity fostered social transformation by raising awareness among the owner and workers about the importance of branding and professional packaging, developing new skills, and positioning the MSME as a role model for similar businesses in the community. This program implies that packaging development is not solely a visual improvement but a strategic branding instrument that can support MSMEs in achieving sustainability and greater competitiveness in local, regional, and potentially digital markets.

This study uses primary data in the form of types of damage identified through direct surveys in the field and the thickness of the existing pavement layer carried out by asphalt test-pit testing. The secondary data obtained from the Makassar City Public Works Agency in the form of road pavement data, LHR 2021-2023, CBR, and deflection data in 2023. The results of the analysis show that the condition of Jalan Hertasning - Jalan Yasin Limpo with the pavement on the section is classified as fair with the highest PCI value of 77 in the excellent rating and the lowest of 22 in the very poor rating. The analysis of the new pavement was carried out using the 2017 Bina Marga method, the thickness of the AC-WC layer is 4 cm, AC-BC is 6 cm thick, AC-Base is 8 cm thick, Class A Foundation Layer is 30 cm thick, and Class S additional Foundation Layer is 20 cm thick. Through the mechanistic-empirical method of the KENPAVE program, it shows that the additional pavement layer (overlay) of the Hertasning Street to Yasin Limpo Street section for fatigue cracking damage is 0.0001992 with a load repetition value of 1,441,176 ESAL. The remaining value of the 20-year design life, obtained the thickness of the AC-WC pavement layer of 4 cm, the AC-BC layer of 6 cm, the AC-Base layer of 8 cm, and for the Class A upper foundation layer of 30 cm and an additional layer with Class S aggregate of 20 cm thick which is placed under the Class A Foundation Layer. Meanwhile, based on the KENPAVE program, it shows that during the 20-year design life, the pavement can withstand the load without damage because the load repetition control value is greater than the planned LHR value (Nr). The remaining design life value on Jalan Hertasning to Jalan Yasin Limpo using the Bina Marga 2017 method shows that the planned thickness of the new pavement layer is given an additional layer because the soil bearing capacity is less than 6% so that it is necessary to provide embankment material as a form of soil improvement for the minimum road foundation design in Bina Marga 2017.
