Queues are a common phenomenon and are often encountered in various aspects of daily life, especially in places that provide public services. One of the places that is inseparable from the queue problem is Indomaret Jimbaran, Bali. The large number of buyers who send data to Indomaret Jimbaran during peak hours causes the queue rate to be high. This is due to the limited number of service facilities and the time provided to serve each visitor is limited so that the cashier cannot serve buyers optimally. Therefore, the researcher is interested in researching whether the service facilities provided by Indomaret Jimbaran are effective and efficient so that they can satisfy customers.Using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, it was found that the appropriate distribution for the interarrival time of customers is the Gamma distribution, while the service time follows the 3-parameter Weibull distribution. The queueing model used is . The results show that having three cashiers is sufficient to handle the level of customer traffic at Indomaret Jimbaran retail store.

The differences in the age limits of children as stipulated in several Indonesian laws and regulations—such as the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law (UU Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak/SPPA), the Child Protection Law (UU Perlindungan Anak), and the Human Rights Law (UU HAM)—have created significant legal uncertainty. These inconsistencies pose serious implications for the protection of children's rights, particularly for those who are entangled in legal conflicts. One of the most critical impacts is the potential for injustice in the application of restorative justice and diversion programs, which should be guided by the principle of the best interests of the child. Discrepancies in age definitions may also result in unequal treatment in legal proceedings and hinder access to appropriate legal remedies and rehabilitation services. For instance, a child considered underage by one law may be treated as an adult under another, leading to inconsistent judicial decisions, discrimination, and psychological harm. Furthermore, this lack of regulatory harmony undermines the credibility and consistency of the justice system in handling cases involving children. The principle of legal certainty, which is fundamental in any just legal system, cannot be upheld if such foundational definitions remain fragmented. Therefore, there is an urgent need for harmonization and alignment of all regulations related to the legal age definition of a child within the Indonesian national legal framework. Establishing a uniform age standard is essential to ensure fair treatment, protect children's rights comprehensively, prevent discriminatory practices, and improve the effectiveness of restorative justice, rehabilitation, and child protection mechanisms in Indonesia.

The rise in hate speech cases involving minors on social media has become a pressing legal issue in the digital era. As more children engage with online platforms, the risks of harmful behaviors such as hate speech have grown, presenting challenges for legal systems worldwide. This study aims to examine the enforcement of law against children who commit hate speech crimes on social media, with a focus on understanding both the legal processes and the obstacles encountered during enforcement. Using a combination of normative and empirical juridical approaches, the study collects data through interviews with law enforcement officials in Bandar Lampung. The findings indicate that, although the juvenile justice system emphasizes restorative justice and provides diversion mechanisms for minor offenders, the practical application of these principles remains insufficient. Key technical challenges, such as difficulties in tracking accounts and the ease with which digital evidence is deleted, pose significant barriers to effective prosecution. Additionally, structural issues, including limited resources and the lack of digital legal literacy among law enforcement, exacerbate the problem. Despite these challenges, the study identifies best practices in diversion, such as involving psychologists, probation officers, and community leaders, as potential pathways to more humane and rehabilitative resolutions. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of strengthening coordination between agencies, improving law enforcement capacity in digital forensics, and implementing early digital literacy education. These efforts are crucial for creating a more effective legal framework to address hate speech cases committed by children on social media, ensuring both justice and rehabilitation in the digital age.

In addition to the positive findings regarding the effectiveness of instructional videos in enhancing reading skills, this study also highlights the importance of integrating technology into early childhood education. The use of instructional videos provides an engaging and interactive learning experience for children, making the learning process more enjoyable and effective. Children at TK Irama Jaya were able to visualize and connect sounds with letters and words, which is a crucial aspect of developing reading skills at an early age. Furthermore, the study reveals that instructional videos cater to different learning styles, allowing children to absorb information through auditory and visual channels. This multisensory approach enhances retention and understanding, especially for young learners who are just beginning to master reading. The videos also offer repetition and consistency, allowing children to revisit lessons at their own pace, thus reinforcing their learning process. The improvement observed in the post-test scores suggests that instructional videos can serve as a valuable tool in early childhood education, complementing traditional teaching methods. However, the study also indicates that while instructional videos are beneficial, they should be used in conjunction with other pedagogical techniques, such as interactive reading activities and teacher-guided lessons, to maximize learning outcomes. It is recommended that other schools, particularly those in remote or underserved areas, consider incorporating instructional videos into their teaching practices. The accessibility and cost-effectiveness of these videos make them an ideal resource for improving the quality of education in early childhood settings. Further research could explore the long-term effects of instructional videos on reading fluency and other areas of early literacy development.

A child who becomes a victim of a criminal act, often referred to as a child victim, is one who experiences physical, psychological suffering, and/or loss of property due to a criminal act. In the case of children who are victims of sexual violence, it is not limited to physically healthy children, but also includes children with disabilities, whether physical, mental, or intellectual. These child victims have the right to restitution, which is a form of compensation for the harm and losses they have suffered. This study aims to identify the challenges faced by child victims of sexual violence and explain how the restitution process can be implemented within the context of Indonesian law. The author applies a normative research method and gathers data through literature review. The data obtained comes from legal regulations, court rulings, books, and relevant internet sources. The findings of this study indicate that restitution is a right granted to victims as a form of accountability from the perpetrator for their actions. Restitution aims to provide compensation for the victim’s suffering and loss, both materially and psychologically. However, several obstacles to fulfilling the right to restitution for child victims were identified. One of the main obstacles is the lack of understanding from the victim's family regarding the importance of restitution. Often, the victim’s family is unaware that they have the right to request restitution as part of the legal process. Additionally, inadequate cooperation between law enforcement and related institutions is another barrier to fulfilling the right to restitution. The lack of coordination between agencies in handling child sexual violence cases leads to delays in the restitution process. Therefore, it is crucial to raise awareness among the families of victims and improve cooperation between law enforcement, child protection agencies, and other related parties to ensure that the right to restitution is properly fulfilled.

The use of technology in early childhood and elementary education is becoming increasingly important in the digital era. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational games as an interactive learning medium to increase the interest and motivation of elementary school students. This activity was carried out by the KKM group 95 team from Bina Bangsa University on 43 fourth-grade students at Bayak Public Elementary School. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach through a pre-test and post-test using a Google Form questionnaire. The educational games were developed through the Educaplay platform, which provides various features such as interactive quizzes, crosswords, and picture-matching games. Prior to the intervention, observations were conducted on student learning behavior in the classroom. The results of the initial observations indicated that most students showed little interest in conventional, monotonous learning methods. Therefore, a more engaging approach involving active student participation was needed to rekindle their enthusiasm for learning. During the activity, students were very enthusiastic in participating in the educational games presented. The classroom atmosphere became more lively, and students were seen working together and showing a high curiosity about the material presented through the games. After using the educational games for several sessions, a post-test was conducted to measure changes in students' interest and motivation to learn. Preliminary data analysis results indicate an increase in student interest and motivation scores after participating in educational game-based learning. This indicates that interactive, technology-based approaches have strong potential to improve learning effectiveness at the elementary school level. This study recommends that teachers actively integrate interactive technology into the teaching and learning process. In addition to increasing student engagement, the use of media such as Educaplay can also adapt learning to the digital-native characteristics of today's generation of students.

One of the vulnerable groups facing the double burden of malnutrition is children living in Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA), such as the LKSA Christian Orphanage Foundation in Malang City. This LKSA holds a C-level accreditation status, indicating limited resources and inadequate facilities to support children's well-being. Preliminary research revealed that many children are unaware of their nutritional status and have not received regular health check-ups or nutritional monitoring. To address this issue, the GAES Program (Grow And Eat Smart) was developed with the goal of increasing awareness about the double burden of malnutrition and enhancing education on the importance of regular nutritional status monitoring for children. The GAES Program consists of three main activities: distribution of nutritional measurement tools (scales and height measuring instruments), education on the importance of routine nutritional monitoring, and training in anthropometric screening techniques. The program's results showed that out of the 13 participating children, 7 children (54%) were identified as undernourished, while 6 children (46%) had good nutritional status. In addition, all participants successfully understood the educational material delivered during the sessions and were able to perform anthropometric measurements independently as an initial step in screening their nutritional status. Through this initiative, it is expected that both the children and the LKSA management will become more aware of the importance of regular nutritional monitoring and take early preventive actions. Furthermore, health professionals and local health centers (Puskesmas) are encouraged to provide continuous support and interventions at the LKSA to improve the nutritional status of children and adolescents. Such efforts are essential to prevent the long-term health impacts of the double burden of malnutrition and to ensure a healthier future for children living in social welfare institutions.

The Child Identity Card (KIA) is an official document issued to children aged 0–17 years as a form of early recognition and protection of legal identity. The issuance of the KIA aims to support orderly population administration, facilitate access to public services, and strengthen child protection in various social, educational, and health aspects. In Bintan Regency, this policy has been implemented since 2017 and was reinforced through Regent Regulation No. 6 of 2022. However, in 2024, the KIA ownership rate only reached 53.48%, the lowest figure in the Riau Islands Province. This figure indicates a serious gap between policy and implementation in the field. In fact, the Bintan Regency Population and Civil Registration Office's Work Plan (Renja) set the KIA ownership target for 2024 at 65%, with the final realization being only 62%. This study aims to examine the factors influencing the low KIA ownership rate. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of Disdukcapil officials and the community as service recipients. The implementation model used was Merilee S. Grindle's theory, which emphasizes six critical variables in policy success, including resources, communication, and implementer characteristics. The results of the study indicate that despite an increase in demand for KIA due to administrative requirements in education services, BPJS, and social programs, significant obstacles remain. These obstacles include limited outreach, a lack of service infrastructure in coastal and remote areas, and technical constraints such as a suboptimal online system. Therefore, acceleration strategies are needed, such as increasing the intensity of cross-sector outreach, integrating KIA services into integrated health post (Posyandu) and school programs, adding mobile services, and training local human resources.

Diarrhea remains a major health problem, contributing significantly to morbidity and mortality rates in children, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This disease is often linked to poor sanitation, lack of access to clean water, and a lack of public understanding of proper hygiene practices. Toddlers are the most vulnerable group to diarrhea because their immune systems are not yet fully developed. Current diarrhea management efforts rely heavily on providing oral rehydration salts (ORS) and, in some cases, the use of antibiotics. However, pharmacological approaches are not always available or appropriate in all situations. Therefore, alternative treatments are needed that are safe, readily available, and scientifically proven to be effective. One natural ingredient with significant potential for treating diarrhea is honey. Honey is known to contain various active substances such as enzymes, antioxidants, and antimicrobial compounds that can fight various pathogens that cause diarrhea. Furthermore, honey is also known to help repair the integrity of the intestinal mucosa, stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract, and accelerate the healing process. Although the health benefits of honey are well-known, public knowledge—especially among mothers—about its use as an adjunct therapy for diarrhea remains limited. Recognizing the importance of mothers' role in caring for sick children, especially during diarrhea, educational interventions are needed to improve their understanding. This educational activity aims to equip mothers with accurate, easy-to-understand information that can be applied in their daily lives. In this case, the counseling was conducted at PMB Andina Palembang using communicative media such as leaflets and accompanied by live demonstrations to increase information absorption. To measure the effectiveness of this activity, evaluations were conducted through pretests and posttests using structured questionnaires. The results obtained showed a significant increase in mothers' knowledge scores after participating in the counseling.

Background: Stunting remains a serious public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Ambasea Village, Laeya Sub-district, South Konawe Regency. Stunting, or chronic growth failure in children due to prolonged malnutrition, generally occurs during the first 1,000 days of life. In Ambasea Village, this problem is exacerbated by irregular eating patterns among toddlers, consumption of low-nutrient foods, and poor hygiene behaviors. Toddlers frequently consume unhealthy snacks, reject main meals such as rice and side dishes, and rarely wash their hands with soap before eating or after using the toilet. Furthermore, limited access to basic sanitation—such as the lack of proper latrines and adequate wastewater disposal systems (SPAL)—also contributes to the high risk of infections that disrupt nutrient absorption, increasing the likelihood of stunting in children. Objective: This study aims to describe the environmental health conditions contributing to the incidence of stunting among children aged 0–2 years in Ambasea Village. Methods: The research used an observational analytic method with a quantitative cross-sectional design. The study involved 54 toddlers identified as stunted. Data were collected through structured interviews with parents or caregivers and direct observation of the household and surrounding environmental conditions. Results: The results showed that 66.5% of households did not have access to proper latrines, and 70% lacked adequate wastewater disposal systems. However, 87% had access to clean water, and 85% of respondents demonstrated good handwashing behavior. Conclusion: The environmental health conditions in Ambasea Village reveal ongoing challenges related to latrine ownership and wastewater management. Although clean water access is relatively good and hygiene practices among residents are fairly positive, improving sanitation infrastructure remains crucial. Enhancing these conditions is expected to significantly reduce the risk of stunting among toddlers in the area. Collaborative efforts involving local government, health workers, and the community are essential to create a healthier environment for early childhood development.

The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the motivation of elderly individuals to remain employed in the agricultural sector; (2) to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of elderly health, work experience, age, and income outside the agricultural sector on the working hours of the elderly in agriculture; and (3) to analyze the moderating role of income outside the agricultural sector in the relationship between elderly health and the working hours of elderly individuals in the agricultural sector in Buduk Village, Mengwi District. This study employed a quantitative, associative approach conducted in Buduk Village, with a sample size of 100 elderly individuals aged 60 and above. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling, including accidental sampling, snowball sampling, and purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using moderation regression analysis and processed with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the primary motivation for elderly individuals to continue working is the absence of others to manage their agricultural land; (2) the variables of elderly health, work experience, and income outside the agricultural sector have a negative and significant effect on the working hours of the elderly in agriculture, while the age variable has a negative but insignificant effect; (3) income outside the agricultural sector serves as a pseudo-moderating variable in the relationship between elderly health and their working hours in the agricultural sector in Buduk Village. The implications of these findings highlight the need for policies that support improving the quality of life of the elderly and empowering them economically through alternative income sources that do not rely heavily on physical labor.

Improving the quality of children's health is one of the main priorities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing stunting prevention in Indonesia. Stunting remains a serious challenge in public health development, especially among young children who suffer from chronic malnutrition. To tackle this issue, effective nutritional education is essential, especially for young mothers who play a central role in caregiving and determining their children's dietary intake. In line with the shift in information consumption patterns from conventional media to digital platforms, social media is becoming increasingly significant as a channel for health communication and education. One emerging phenomenon in this context is the rise of public figures from the medical profession actively sharing health-related content online, commonly referred to as “doctor influencers.” This study aims to analyze the digital communication strategies employed by doctor influencers, using the Instagram account @mizaafrizal, owned by Dr. Miza Afrizal, as a case study, focusing on how he educates young mothers about child nutrition. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as content observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review on digital communication and health promotion. The findings indicate that Dr. Miza employs a persuasive and interactive communication strategy through the use of humanistic language, visually engaging content, and scientifically supported information in each post. He also leverages Instagram features like reels, stories, and the comment section to establish two-way communication with his followers. Dr. Miza’s credibility as a pediatrician enhances the reception of his messages. His approachable, clear, and educational style of delivery successfully captures the attention of young mothers and increases their understanding of the importance of nutrition in early childhood development. These findings highlight the influential role of doctor influencers as change agents in raising public awareness about child nutrition. Moreover, they contribute positively to digital-based health promotion efforts in Indonesia, showing the potential of social media as a powerful platform to support national health initiatives.

The disruption era, marked by rapid technological development and socio-cultural transformation, presents significant challenges to the spiritual and character formation of young children. In this dynamic context, Christian Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers are not merely facilitators of learning but are also expected to act as spiritual leaders and moral role models. These responsibilities require a form of leadership that is not only rooted in biblical principles but also adaptive to the shifting demands of the digital age. This study aims to (1) identify the core challenges faced by Christian ECE teachers in the disruption era, (2) examine Christ-centered leadership values, and (3) propose an adaptive spiritual leadership model suitable for Christian ECE settings. Utilizing a qualitative approach through a literature review, data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings highlight two main categories of challenges: external challenges such as the influence of digital media, shifting values in society, and increased parental expectations; and internal challenges including limited teacher capacity, spiritual stagnation, and institutional gaps. In response, this research proposes the "Three-Pillar Adaptive Spiritual Leadership Model," which emphasizes: (1) the teacher's internal spiritual formation and integrity, (2) the implementation of innovative and contextually relevant pedagogical strategies grounded in Christian values, and (3) synergistic collaboration with families and church communities as key support systems. This model provides a conceptual and practical framework for Christian educational institutions to empower teachers in forming resilient, Christ-like character in children. The study contributes to the discourse on faith-based education in the 21st

Protection of children's rights in the Indonesian legal sistem has received serious attention with the enactment of Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice Sistem (UU SPPA). This law emphasizes that imposing sanctions on children is not the primary goal, but rather a means to achieve child welfare through a restorative justice approach. The SPPA Law regulates two channels for resolving cases: formal justice and diversion. Diversion is a process for resolving children's cases outside the court system, aiming to prevent children from experiencing formal justice processes that have the potential to have long-term negative impacts on their psychological and social development. This study focuses on the implementation of diversion efforts during the investigation stage within the jurisdiction of the Madiun City Police. The method used in this study is an empirical method, namely by examining the implementation of the law in social realities in the field through observation and interviews with relevant parties. The results of the study indicate that the Madiun City Police have implemented diversion efforts quite well and in accordance with the provisions of the SPPA Law. The implementation of diversion is carried out by considering the principles of restorative justice and involving various parties, including child perpetrators, victims, families, and the police. However, several obstacles to implementing diversion exist, including a lack of public understanding of the concept and benefits of diversion, and frequent debates between perpetrators and victims, particularly regarding compensation issues within diversion forums. Therefore, increased public outreach and legal education, as well as stronger coordination between the institutions involved, are needed to optimally achieve the primary goals of the juvenile criminal justice system.
