This study is motivated by the difficulty students face in understanding the concept of food chains, which is attributed to the conventional teaching methods still in use. Therefore, the researcher believes that the application of a new teaching model is expected to enhance student engagement in the teaching and learning process, ultimately improving learning outcomes. Natural Science is often considered difficult because of its many theories and the lack of variation in teaching methods, leading to poor student performance. Given these issues, an innovative teaching model is necessary. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' knowledge in the Natural Science subject. The research method used is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. The study population consists of 50 fifth-grade students, with 25 students in the experimental group and 25 students in the control group. The hypothesis tested is that there is an effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on Natural Science learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the Problem-Based Learning model has a significant effect on students' knowledge. This is evidenced by the t-test results, which show a t-value of 12.400, greater than the t-table value of 2.01. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model positively affects the understanding of food chain concepts in fifth-grade students. The findings of this study are expected to be beneficial for teachers in improving the quality of their teaching, for students to better understand the material through more engaging methods, and for the school environment in developing innovative and effective teaching practices.

Pogalan Village in Pakis District, Central Java, is known as a horticultural agricultural center, with abundant vegetable production every year. However, behind this potential, this village faces a serious problem in the form of large amounts of organic waste generated from harvest residue and agricultural processing. Waste that is not managed properly has the potential to cause environmental pollution, reduce the village's aesthetics, and become a source of disease spread. To address these problems, the Tidar University Community Service Program (KKN-50) Team conducted a socialization activity for Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot cultivation as an environmentally friendly and economically valuable organic waste management solution. BSF maggots have been proven to decompose organic waste by up to 60% in a short time and produce useful by-products, such as dried maggots as high-protein animal feed and kasgot (used maggots) that can be used as organic fertilizer. The activity was held on July 31, 2025, at the Pogalan Village Hall, with the main participants being PKK mothers as agents of change at the household and community levels. The implementation method included initial observation of the village's potential and problems, creation of a maggot cultivation prototype, theoretical material outreach, and live demonstrations of the cultivation process. This study aims to conduct a critical study of the teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education and Character Building (PABP), specifically on the material "Avoiding Backbiting and Carrying Out Tabayun" used in class VII of SMPIT Takhassus Al-Qur'an Ashabiq. The focus of the study in this study covers several important aspects, namely learning objectives, the material delivered, the learning methods and models applied, evaluation of learning outcomes, and sources and references for teaching materials used by teachers and students. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through document studies of teaching materials, observations of the learning process in the classroom, interviews with teachers and students, and data validation is carried out through expert audits to ensure the accuracy of the findings. The results show that the teaching materials used have referred to the principles of the Independent Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile, which emphasize the development of character and student competencies as a whole. However, several significant weaknesses were found, especially in terms of integration between learning objectives with learning activities and evaluations carried out. Learning materials are structured in a normative and idealistic manner, but they do not adequately accommodate students' real-life contexts, particularly in facing the challenges of today's digital era, which significantly impact how they understand and internalize religious values. Learning evaluation is still dominated by cognitive measures such as written tests and conceptual understanding, while the attitudinal and skill dimensions, which are crucial for character education, have not been optimally measured. Furthermore, the learning resources used are quite limited, relying solely on textbooks and student worksheets (LKS), without any support from contemporary literature or digital media that could enrich the learning process and make it more engaging and relevant to today's students.

This study examines the phenomenon of the religious jargon “Go Berkah No Riba” (Go Blessed, No Interest) as a digital marketing communication strategy employed by entrepreneurs on social media, particularly Facebook. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and visual discourse analysis, this research seeks to understand how the jargon is interpreted, constructed, and widely disseminated in the context of product marketing and business opportunities. The findings indicate that “Go Berkah No Riba” functions not only as a marker of religious identity but also as a rhetorical device that combines spiritual values with aspirations for material success. Visual analysis of promotional materials, such as flyers and Facebook posts, reveals the use of hyperbolic language, symbolic imagery—such as the Kaaba and piles of money—and religious narratives designed to build credibility and persuade potential consumers. The integration of religious elements with economic appeal creates a sharia-compliant business image that simultaneously promises profitability. However, the study also uncovers ambiguity in the use of this jargon. On the one hand, it can strengthen the image of a business operating ethically according to Islamic principles. On the other hand, it risks being exploited merely as a marketing gimmick without a strong foundation in ethical business practices. This creates the potential for a gap between the religious message communicated and the actual business conduct. The findings underscore the importance of critical literacy in understanding religious communication strategies within the digital business sphere. Consistency between religious messaging and real-world business practices is crucial for maintaining consumer trust and avoiding the excessive commodification of religious values. Therefore, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of religion-based marketing communication in the era of digital transformation.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of violence experienced by individuals in the early adulthood age range (18–25 years), which is often a manifestation of unresolved traumatic experiences. Unmanaged trauma can have profound psychological impacts, affecting an individual's identity, social relationships, and outlook on life. However, within the framework of positive psychology, there is the concept of Post Traumatic Growth (PTG), which explains the potential for psychological growth that can emerge after an individual experiences severe stress or trauma. PTG includes positive changes in oneself, increased meaning in life, personal strength, and appreciation for life. The concept of PTG is the main foundation in the creation of abstract sculptures that attempt to represent the psychological journey of victims of violence, from destructive conditions to recovery and self-awareness. Abstract forms are used as a visual medium to reflect inner conflict, identity fragmentation, and the complex process of internal transformation. The choice of abstraction allows for free expression of realistic forms, thus presenting a profound symbolic interpretation. The method of creation of the work is carried out through an artistic approach that emphasizes the exploration of form, texture, material, and space in three-dimensional expression. This process not only produces visual objects but also creates expressive symbols that contain narratives of psychological healing. The sculpture is presented as a contemplative medium that invites the audience to experience, understand, and interpret the inner journey of victims of violence. The resulting creation demonstrates that abstract sculpture can be a powerful means of emotional communication, facilitating public understanding of the experience of trauma and the potential for post-traumatic growth. Thus, this work not only serves as an artistic representation of the inner dynamics of victims of violence but also serves as a reflective medium that fosters awareness of the human capacity to recover and thrive after experiencing profound suffering.

This research is entitled "Socialization of the General Election Commission in Increasing Voter Participation in the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election of Ciamis Regency (Case Study in Ciamis District)". The focus of this research is to determine how the implementation of socialization carried out by the General Election Commission (KPU) of Ciamis Regency in an effort to increase public participation in the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election, especially in the Ciamis District area. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with related parties, direct observation of socialization activities, and collection of supporting documentation. The data obtained are analyzed qualitatively through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Ciamis Regency KPU carried out socialization by referring to the Theory of Three Elements of Socialization proposed by Haryanto (2018) in the book Political Socialization: An Initial Understanding. The three elements include: Socialization Agents, namely parties who play a role in conveying information, such as KPU officers, District Election Committees (PPK), and community leaders, Socialization Materials, including information regarding election stages, voting procedures, the importance of voting rights, and the role of the community in maintaining democracy, Socialization Methods, which are carried out through face-to-face meetings, leaflet distribution, banner installation, social media, and community-based activities. Although socialization activities have been carried out in a planned manner and involved various media, research results indicate that their implementation has not been optimal. Some obstacles found include limited reach to all levels of society, minimal participation in socialization activities, and a lack of innovation in information delivery methods. In conclusion, the socialization carried out by the Ciamis Regency KPU for the 2024 Regent and Deputy Regent Election has been running but needs to be increased in intensity, creativity, and equal distribution of targets so that voter participation can be maximized.

This community service activity was carried out in Dahu Village, Pandeglang Regency, with the main objective of introducing and implementing biopore infiltration hole technology as a simple and environmentally friendly solution to address waterlogging and organic waste management. Biopores are small-diameter vertical holes dug into the ground and then filled with organic waste, such as dry leaves, vegetable scraps, or food scraps. This organic waste will naturally decompose through a decomposition process, producing compost that is useful for fertilizing the soil. Furthermore, the presence of biopore holes can improve the groundwater absorption capacity, thereby reducing the risk of waterlogging and minor flooding around residential areas. During the implementation, we as students not only provided theoretical explanations through socialization sessions but also actively participated directly in the field. Together with residents, we practiced making biopore holes, starting from the stages of preparing tools and materials, the process of drilling the soil, and filling the holes with organic waste. This practical activity was designed to help the community understand the steps for making biopores independently and utilizing them sustainably. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding and awareness of the importance of easy, affordable, and beneficial waste management. The community is beginning to realize that waste processing does not always require large costs or complicated technology. Biopore holes have been proven effective in accelerating rainwater absorption, reducing household waste volume, and improving soil fertility. Beyond the environmental impact, this activity also strengthens relationships between students and villagers through the collaboration established during the biopore construction process. Thus, this program is expected to be the first step towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable village.
