Mass media plays a significant role in shaping public perceptions of issues such as sexual and domestic violence. This study focuses on how text structure, word choice, and gender representation in news articles influence public understanding of violence. The aim of this research is to analyze how news about sexual violence and domestic violence constructs narratives and social responses through language use and text structure, and how gender representation affects public perception. The study employs critical discourse analysis based on Norman Fairclough's theory. Two news articles were selected for analysis: one about sexual violence in front of a young girl and one about domestic violence. The articles were examined for text structure, word choice, and gender representation to understand how they construct narratives. The analysis reveals that the news about sexual violence emphasizes the perpetrator's actions and the authorities' responses, using sensational language to create a negative image of the perpetrator. In contrast, the news about domestic violence focuses more on the victim's suffering and power dynamics, with detailed descriptions of physical and emotional abuse. Media shapes public perceptions of violence and gender through word choice and text structure.

Methods: A total of 340 patients were included in the study. This was cross sectional study conducted in the Diabetes  Center at Al-diwaniya city, Iraq, from period of 1st of February to the 1st September2023. Based on the cutoff point of Glycosylated hemoglobin of 7, the poor control were the patients with (Glycosylated hemoglobin is ≥ 7) and the good control were the diabetic patient with Glycosylated hemoglobin is <7. A questionnaire developed to gather the demographic, lipid profile, disease characteristics and lifestyles behaviors and filled by the researcher through direct interview. Results: The total number of poor controls was 221 and the good control was 119 patients. There was no significant difference between the two groups regarding sex, age, marital status and occupation. Smoking, Body Mass Index and HDL level were not significant factors (p>0.005). All disease characteristics including the duration, family history of DM, FBS, type of medication were significant factors (p<0.001). Lifestyles  behaviors including  self-monitoring, healthy diet, physical activity, and adherence were significant factors (p<0.001). The background of this research focuses on the impact of climate change in Australia, caused by extreme temperature fluctuations that have resulted in various social, environmental, and economic consequences. This study is analyzed using Green Politics theory and Propaganda theory, both of which play a significant role in shaping policies and public perceptions related to these issues. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, which guides the investigation to explore or capture the situation to be studied comprehensively, broadly, and in depth, specifically through the analysis of Green Party propaganda from the perspective of Green Politics concerning the impact of climate change in Australia. Data were collected through public documents, books, scientific journals, mass media, and websites accessed from the internet. The findings indicate that Green Politics theory provides an effective framework for understanding how environmental policies in Australia can be influenced by political ideologies and economic interests. Meanwhile, propaganda theory reveals that the propaganda techniques used by the Australian Green Party, as proposed by Harold Lasswell, have proven to significantly increase public awareness and support for more progressive climate policies, despite facing inherent challenges. This study concludes that the integration of these two theories offers deep insights into the political dynamics underlying responses to climate change in Australia.

The level of family welfare is the key to meeting children's nutritional needs. Parents need to identify nutritional problems experienced by children. Specifically, we want to know how family income affects children's caloric intake. The study used a cross-sectional analytical design. A total of seventy-four youngsters were sampled using the Simple Random Sampling approach. We used a questionnaire to collect data on family welfare levels, measured height and weight to calculate body mass index (BMI), and then ran the numbers through the Chi-Square Test. Among the families surveyed, 43.2% fell into the second group of wealthy, while 51.4% were classified as having normal nutrition. There is a statistically significant correlation between family welfare and children's nutritional status (p = 0.023, r(s) = 0.016, according to the Chi-Square test). The statistics indicate that children's nutritional status is adequate, although there is room for improvement. A child's nutritional condition may be affected by their family's degree of welfare. A child's dietary requirements are better met in families with greater levels of welfare. For optimal growth and development, it is expected that parents would attend to their children's dietary requirements

Metabolic processes in the body decrease with age. One of them occurs in calcium, when the age of more than 50 years, the amount of calcium in the body decreases by 30%. Meanwhile, if more than 70 years old, it decreases by about 50%. The imbalance of calcium levels in the body causes various diseases, one of which is osteoporosis. Osteoporosis occurs because the bones experience a decrease in bone mass due to lack of calcium intake in the body so that the body uses calcium reserves in the bones and teeth to meet calcium needs in the body. Because of the use of calcium in the bones, it causes the bones to lose mass so that they become porous, brittle, and even broken. One group that is prone to osteoporosis is the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine serum calcium levels below normal values and the percentage of serum calcium levels below normal values in the elderly. The research method used was analytic survey, while the examination method used Cresolphtalein Complexone (CPC). The population in the study were 33 elderly aged 60 - 74 years in RW 03 Kaliwadas Village, Sumber District, Cirebon Regency. This study used a total sampling technique, so the sample used was the entire elderly population aged 60 - 74 years in RW 03 Kaliwadas Village. The research data were analyzed using the SPSS chi-square test program, and the value of Asymp. Sig. (2- Sided) is less than 0.05 which is 0.010. There are serum casium levels that are below normal values in the elderly with a percentage of 66.7%.

Traditional massage parlors have changed dramatically. Several traditional massage parlors in Indonesia have been in the spotlight in recent years due to the covert prostitution practices that occur in these places. This practice involves sexual services offered as part of traditional massage services, and it has become a serious problem affecting various aspects of society. The problem discussed is how the practice of covert prostitution in traditional massage parlors in Indonesia cannot be fully criminalized under Articles 296 & 506 of the Criminal Code and how criminal law is enforced against the practice of prostitution in covert massage parlors in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to analyze the practice of covert prostitution in traditional massage parlors in Indonesia which cannot yet be fully criminalized under Articles 296 & 506 of the Criminal Code and analyze criminal law enforcement against the practice of prostitution in covert massage parlors in Indonesia. The theories used in this thesis are law enforcement theory and legal certainty theory. The research method was carried out using a statutory approach which was carried out by examining all laws and regulations relating to the legal issues being handled as well as approaching cases that occurred in the practice of disguised prostitution in massage parlor activities. Problems in the Effectiveness of implementing Articles 296 and 506 of the Criminal Code in law enforcement against prostitution in massage parlors is very dependent on the joint efforts of various parties, availability of resources, and commitment to crack down on this crime consistently and fairly. According to the author, criminal law enforcement against the practice of prostitution in hidden massage parlors in Indonesia currently does not yet have full legal certainty in the application of Articles 296 and 506 of the Criminal Code and related laws. Furthermore, related to the law enforcement factor which is less than optimal, according to the author, the legal system in the crime of prostitution does not work properly, especially related to the legal culture of individual officers who have not made efforts to enforce the law. The suggestions in the research are the need for cooperation between the government, community sponsored organizations (NGO ),child protection institutions and civil society in dealing with the problem of prostitution and improving the legal culture or culture where there must be a mental improvement of government officials and law enforcement officials so that there are no more unscrupulous individuals playing in law enforcement efforts against hidden massage parlors under the guise of prostitution.
