Morbus Hansen, or leprosy, is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. There are two types of leprosy, namely MB (Multi Bacillary) and PB (Pauci Bacillary). According to the WHO, the level of disability due to leprosy is divided into three levels: Level 0, Level 1, and Level 3. This study is an analytic observational study using a cross-sectional research design, involving 45 respondents selected through total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire consisting of questions regarding leprosy medication compliance. Data analysis used the chi-square test and prevalence rate. The results showed no association between medication compliance (p=0.092, PR=2.0) and the incidence of leprosy disability at the Batumarmar Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. The conclusion of this study indicates that although theoretically adherence to medication can lead to disability in leprosy patients, the results of this study show something different. The difference between the results of this study and the theory may be due to other factors affecting disability. The suggestion is that the health center is expected to improve the monitoring system to evaluate patient compliance with treatment. Support from medical personnel and families is also needed to encourage patients to be more consistent in undergoing therapy.

Cervical cancer is a deadly disease and ranks as the fourth most common cancer among women, according to the World Health Organization. In Indonesia, it is the second most prevalent cancer affecting women. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an early screening method to detect cervical cancer, yet its coverage remains low in several areas of East Java. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior among women of reproductive age in the working area of Kowel Public Health Center. The study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 70 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing both knowledge and VIA screening behavior. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that 38 respondents had good knowledge, while 32 had poor knowledge. The chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.494 (p > 0.05) and a prevalence ratio (PR) of 1.684. These results indicate no significant relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior. However, respondents with good knowledge were 1.684 times more likely to undergo VIA screening than those with poor knowledge. It is recommended that the Kowel Health Center enhance its educational efforts through more engaging and creative counseling methods using media tools such as brochures, leaflets, posters, and animated videos, delivered both directly and via social media, to attract public interest.

Problems faced by partners related to the role of cadres in attaching P4K stickers at the Babirik Health Center include the lack of community understanding of the importance of the health information provided. Although cadres have tried to attach stickers in strategic locations, community response is often minimal, so that the information is not effective in raising awareness. In addition, cadres also face challenges of limited time and resources, which prevent them from conducting further socialization. The solutions carried out are educating cadres to conduct pregnant women screening; documenting high-risk pregnant women; educating high-risk pregnant women on knowledge; attaching P4K stickers in the homes of high-risk pregnant women. The conclusion from the results of community service activities related to the role of cadres in attaching P4K stickers at the Babirik Health Center shows that this initiative has succeeded in increasing community awareness of maternal and child health. Through the attachment of stickers in strategic locations and the active involvement of cadres, important information about health services becomes more easily accessible and understood by the community. More intensive interaction between cadres and the community shows an increase in requests for information and participation in health programs.

Puskesmas is one of the health services whose traffic is difficult to determine, because it cannot be predicted that people will get sick and need health services. The queuing system at the puskesmas is implemented through several stages, namely the first stage the patient goes to the counter to get a queue number, after that the patient will be called according to the serial number to be served. This has a big impact on patients who were previously queuing because they have to be willing to wait longer to get service. This queue system often causes various kinds of problems and patient dissatisfaction. The Queue Management System at the Sindangkerta Community Health Center has several problems, including long queue waiting times which tend to be detrimental to patients who will receive services. Long queues cause longer waiting times. The queue is not easily accessible to prospective patients, making it difficult to obtain a queue number. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the evaluation of the management of the queuing system at the Sindangkerta Community Health Center is quite good, but there are still problems, including long queue waiting times and difficulty for visitors to get a queue number.

The community movement to assist childbirth operates within a complex context, where social, cultural, and economic factors interact with each other. At the Babirik Community Health Center (Puskesmas Babirik), community service partners face a number of challenges. One of the main issues is the limited human resources, with an insufficient number of medical personnel and volunteers to reach all pregnant women in the area. Ineffective communication between the health center and the community has led to low awareness and participation of pregnant women in existing programs.Based on these challenges, a solution was developed by introducing the Community Movement to Assist Childbirth at Puskesmas Babirik, abbreviated as Germas Tulin. The Germas Tulin program at Puskesmas Babirik has shown a positive impact on community service, especially in supporting childbirth. Through various initiatives, the community actively participates in providing services and support needed during the delivery process. Germas Tulin plays a vital role in creating a safer and more supportive environment for pregnant women, as well as contributing to the improvement of healthcare service quality in the area.

The high birth rate is one of the big challenges for the State of Indonesia in the family planning program that is recommended to control population growth, including the application of the Long-Term Contraceptive Method (MKJP) (BKKBN, 2016). In 2023, the total population of Indonesia is 278.8 million people. This number increased by 1.1% compared to 2022 which was 275.5 million people. In Central Kalimantan, in 2023, there will be 327,182 couples of childbearing age (PUS), then 244,374 active family planning (PA) users and 902 new contraceptive devices (PB).. East Kotawaringin Regency itself recorded the most active family planning participants in injectable birth control (82.0%), pills (13.7%), implants (2.9%), condoms (0.3%), AKDR (0.6%), MOP contraception (0.2%), and MOW (0.3%), recorded participants who use MKJP in Kotim only (4%) of the total number of family planning participants (Kotim Health Profile, 2022). Some of the factors that cause the low selection of MKJP include individual perception, husband support, knowledge, education, work and attitude. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the source of information on couples of childbearing age and the selection of long-term contraception at the Baamang 2 Sampit Health Center in 2024. A type of quantitative analytical research with a cross-sectional research design. The population in the study was all family planning acceptors at the Baamang 2 Sampit Health Center. Stunting remains a significant nutritional issue in Indonesia, primarily caused by inadequate dietary intake. Nutritional deficiencies in toddlers often result from insufficient breastfeeding and a lack of proper nutrition from complementary foods. This study aims to evaluate the impact of supplementary feeding (PMT) made from snakehead fish on the nutritional status of stunted toddlers aged 24–47 months. The research employed a total sampling method, involving 15 toddlers within the specified age range. Prior to the intervention, the respondents had an average body weight of 10.77 kg, categorized as severely underweight. Following the administration of snakehead fish-based PMT, their average weight increased to 12.33 kg, falling into the underweight category. Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant effect of the snakehead fish-based PMT in improving the nutritional status of stunted toddlers. These findings highlight the potential of local food sources, such as snakehead fish, to enhance maternal and child health efforts—particularly in addressing malnutrition through optimized use of locally sourced PMT in various preparations.
