The main problem faced by MA Al Ulya Al Mubarok is the low level of financial literacy and the lack of understanding of the importance of early investment. Most students still perceive saving as the only form of financial management without recognizing the potential for asset growth through safe and well-planned investments. The absence of practical education on personal financial management and limited access to learning resources about investment are the main barriers to developing intelligent and future-oriented financial behavior. As a solution, this community service program is designed to improve financial literacy and foster investment intention among students. The program will be implemented through several stages of activities, including: needs and baseline analysis of students, development of a contextual-based financial literacy module, interactive socialization and training on the basic concepts of saving, personal financial management, and introduction to investment. The expected outcomes of this program include: an increase in students’ financial literacy level by at least 30% based on pre-test and post-test results, the initiation of a student investment awareness community, and the creation of a financial literacy learning module that can be used sustainably by the school. This community service program is expected to serve as a model for financial literacy development in secondary education institutions while supporting national efforts to build a financially literate, independent, and future-oriented young generation.

The development of digital technology has changed global business patterns, including in Indonesia, through the growth of e-commerce, social media, and online platforms. This change opens up great opportunities for students as the educated young generation to develop online businesses. This research aims to explore students' online business readiness from a digital mindset perspective through a phenomenological study approach among students in Malang. The research focuses on online business readiness, digital mindset, attitudes towards technology, and the contribution of entrepreneurship learning, which are analyzed using the Theory of Planned Behavior framework(Ajzen, 1991) and Entrepreneurial Mindset Theory. The research used qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with online business students. The results show that students have a basic understanding of digital business, especially in utilizing social media and marketplaces. A positive attitude towards technology has been formed, indicated by perceived benefits and ease of use. However, a gap emerges between technical skills and long-term strategic planning capabilities. Innovation and problem-solving tend to be reactive, simply following trends, while psychological resistance such as fear of fraud and data security remain barriers. This research confirms that online business readiness is not only determined by technical skills, but also by the strengthening of an adaptive, innovative digital mindset. In the modern retail era, halal personal care products are increasingly in demand among Muslim consumers, particularly young generations. This study aims to analyze the influence of religious awareness, content quality, and brand awareness on consumer loyalty, with purchasing behavior as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey data collected from 150 Muslim consumers aged 18–35 who had purchased halal personal care products at Tip Top Supermarket Rawamangun, Jakarta. Data analysis was conducted with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method via SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that religious awareness, content quality, and brand awareness significantly affect purchasing behavior and consumer loyalty. Furthermore, purchasing behavior mediates the relationship between these three independent variables and loyalty. These findings highlight that loyalty among young Muslim consumers is not formed instantly, but through the integration of religiosity, credible and engaging content, and strong brand awareness, which together drive consistent purchasing behaviort.

Considering that the millennial generation will continue the life of the nation and state, the millennial generation needs to be made aware of the importance of preserving the country. This will support the country's defense against internal and external, military and non-military threats. Because education helps future generations of young people understand history, values, and dedication to preserving the country, education is very important for national defense. Students can become development agents who benefit society and the nation through education and learning how important it is to maintain national unity. This research will use normative juridical research which takes an approach from legal, phenomenon and ideological perspectives. This article aims to determine the extent to which formal education in Indonesia influences the development of awareness of national defense in the younger generation, explores the factors that influence this understanding and awareness, examines how the national education curriculum is implemented, and provides suggestions for strengthening the education system. The development of digital technology and the massive penetration of social media have transformed consumption patterns, particularly among younger generations. Excessive use of social media may lead to addictive behavior, which has the potential to trigger psychological anxiety such as fear of missing out, and ultimately encourage impulse buying behavior. Denpasar City, as a center of urbanization and consumption in Bali, serves as an appropriate location to examine this phenomenon, as its community tends to be consumptive and highly active in social media use. The purpose of this study is to explain the role of fear of missing out in mediating the effect of social media addiction on impulse buying. This study employs Uses and Gratifications (U&G) theory as the theoretical foundation, with a sample of 130 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire method. The study applied descriptive and inferential techniques, including Path Analysis, Classical Assumption Test, and Sobel Test. The findings reveal that fear of missing out mediates the effect of social media addiction on impulse buying. This study strengthens the understanding that social media not only influences social interaction but also shapes impulsive consumption behavior as a result of psychological pressure and exposure to digital content.

Low English proficiency remains a problem for the younger generation in Mimika Regency, particularly in speaking skills. Additionally, the flow of modernization influences the low appreciation of society, especially the younger generation, towards local culture, with the emergence of popular culture. This community service activity offers an English Storytelling Competition as a creative and innovative educational medium to integrate English competency and the preservation of the local culture of indigenous communities in Mimika Regency. This program used a collaborative approach/community-based participatory approach (CBPA) through community involvement in the planning, script preparation, workshops, competitions, and reflection stages, together with the utilization of existing local strengths and wisdom. The main purpose of this program is to encourage social change in the community, which includes: (1) increasing oral English skills in the young generation in Mimika. (2) the presence of awareness and pride in the importance of preserving local culture, and (3) the creation of a community environment that provides appreciation for local cultural products that grow together with global challenges. The results of the activity showed an increase in English communication skills, growing self-confidence in students, and the presence of creativity in interestingly packaging Amungme-Kamoro folklore. In addition, this activity brings a new awareness of the importance of preserving local culture, potential leaders who dare to appear in public, and presents a new institution in the form of a space competition that combines aspects of language and cultural education.

 National insight is an important foundation in the character development of Indonesia's young generation, especially in facing the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and changing values ​​among adolescents. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen national insight for new students of SMAN 46 Jakarta through a contextual approach relevant to the conditions of today's youth. The contextual approach was chosen because it can help students understand the material by connecting the knowledge learned with their daily experiences, so that the learning process becomes more meaningful, easier to understand, and less abstract (Aminah et al., 2022; Parhan & Sukaenah, 2020). The methods used in this program include interactive counseling, group discussions, and reflections supported by audiovisual media close to students' daily lives, such as short videos, digital illustrations, and case simulations. This activity was held on July 14–16, 2025, as part of the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) and was attended by 450 new students in grade X. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the concept of national insight from a practical and contextual perspective, with a focus on the values ​​of empathy, solidarity, mutual cooperation, anti-bullying, and positive creativity. Furthermore, this program succeeded in changing the paradigm of students from an understanding of national insight that initially tended to be normative and abstract to being more applicable in everyday life. This proves that strengthening national insight through a contextual approach can be an effective strategy in forming a young generation that is characterful, adaptive, and has social awareness.

This study discusses the implementation of the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW) in Pematang Guntung Village as an effort to strengthen religious values and foster togetherness within the community. The commemoration of the Prophet’s birthday is a long-standing Islamic tradition carried out as a form of respect and love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The objectives of this study are to celebrate the Islamic holy day of Maulid Nabi, cultivate the love of the people for the Prophet, develop the potential of the younger generation in the field of religion, and strengthen Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah islamiyah) among villagers. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed in depth to describe how the Maulid event was conducted and its impact on the community. The findings revealed that the commemoration of the Prophet’s birthday brought significant positive effects. In addition to increasing understanding and practice of Islamic teachings, this activity also strengthened social bonds, encouraged youth participation, and raised collective awareness of the importance of preserving religious traditions. Furthermore, the event served as an effective medium to foster ukhuwah islamiyah, a spirit of togetherness, cooperation, and tolerance among community members. The Maulid tradition also functioned as an informal educational medium that instilled noble values, promoted the Prophet’s exemplary character, and reinforced moral development. Thus, the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday in Pematang Guntung Village was not only a religious tradition but also an instrument of education, character building, and social cohesion that reinforced unity and harmony within the community.

The purpose of this research and community service is to identify the problems that occur in the Sukamulya Cikupa Tangerang community and to conduct outreach activities on the role of parents in shaping a generation with Islamic character in the digital era. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The PAR method is a research and community empowerment approach that positions the community as active participants in the process of identifying problems and designing solutions. This outreach activity is the result of collaboration between residents, the Izzatin Nisa Islamic study group, Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, and local community leaders. The community service was carried out at Maditerania Residence Sukamulya, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency. The outreach participants consisted of housewives, teachers, community leaders, and factory workers, totaling 300 participants. The resource person in this outreach activity was a lecturer from Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. The results of this research and community service are that there are negative impacts of digital technology devices on the younger generation. To prevent these negative impacts, the role of parents is needed in educating, supervising, and providing digital literacy provisions to the younger generation to avoid negative impacts. There is also a need for public education regarding the role of parents in shaping a young generation with Islamic character in accordance with Islamic teachings in the digital era.

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and viral marketing on purchasing decisions of Mixue products among students of the Business Administration Department at Politeknik Negeri Medan. Mixue is one of the contemporary beverage brands that has experienced rapid growth among university students. This popularity is inseparable from the strong brand image it has built and the viral marketing strategy carried out through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, which successfully attract the attention of the younger generation. The research employed a quantitative approach by collecting numerical data supported with explanatory analysis. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 93 respondents selected using purposive sampling, with specific criteria, namely students who had purchased Mixue products. The data were analyzed using a series of statistical tests, including validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²), with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results indicate that, partially, brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions of Mixue products among Business Administration students at Politeknik Negeri Medan. Viral marketing also shows a positive and significant partial effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, both brand image and viral marketing have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. These findings highlight the importance of brand perception and digital marketing strategies in shaping consumer behavior, particularly among young generations who are actively engaged with social media platforms.

The Cultural Exchange program organized by students of Semarang State University (UNNES) in Kampung Gumut, Kerling, Selangor, Malaysia, is a strategic initiative in strengthening cultural identity while building a network of friendships across nations. Through a non-formal cultural diplomacy approach, this activity introduced the richness of traditional Indonesian culinary such as Soto Semarang, Kopi Tubruk Sumowono, Jamu Turmeric Asam, and Bakwan Sayur, as well as displaying traditional clothing from various regions, including Dayak, Kebaya Encim, Beskap Jawa, Kebaya Jawa, and Bali. The cross-cultural interaction created encourages open dialogue, broadens horizons, and fosters tolerance between communities. The enthusiasm of local residents, active participation in discussions, and the presence of community leaders show that cultural exchanges can be an effective medium in building social solidarity and strengthening Indonesia-Malaysia bilateral relations. This program not only provides a transformative experience for students as cultural ambassadors, but also creates a warm and meaningful communication space. With a participatory approach, this activity has the potential to open up wider collaboration opportunities in the fields of education, social, and culture. Overall, the UNNES Cultural Exchange in Malaysia is a real example of how the young generation can play an active role in cultural diplomacy, strengthen national identity, and build inclusive and sustainable international relations.

Young generations in the digital era face serious challenges in maintaining their Islamic identity due to the rapid flow of globalization, the penetration of popular culture, and the influence of social media, which often contradict Islamic values. This condition has led some adolescents and youth to experience moral degradation, a decline in interest toward religious studies, and a tendency to be more attracted to instant entertainment content. Conventional religious studies that are monotonous are often less appealing to Millennials and Gen Z, thus requiring innovative models of religious education that are relevant, engaging, and suitable for the characteristics of the digital generation. This Community Service Program (KKN) carried the theme “Strengthening Islamic Character of Young Generations through Interactive Multimedia-Based Studies at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Central Lampung Regency.” The main objective was to improve the understanding, internalization, and practice of Islamic values through creative, participatory, and enjoyable approaches. The program was implemented over one month with eight face-to-face sessions. The methods included interactive lectures, motivational video screenings, Islamic animation, group discussions, digital quizzes, and the establishment of an online discussion group via WhatsApp to maintain continuity of learning. Evaluation was carried out through field observation, pre-test and post-test, as well as in-depth interviews with participants and partners. The results showed an increase in religious understanding from an average of 58% to 82%, with active participation reaching 87%. Moreover, a youth community named Forum Pemuda Islami Lampung Tengah (FOPILTENG) was established, which is committed to continuing monthly studies independently. Technical obstacles such as limited multimedia facilities were successfully overcome by facilitators’ creativity, including utilizing simple devices and free digital platforms. Overall, the interactive multimedia-based approach proved to be effective in enhancing learning motivation, strengthening Islamic character, and fostering togetherness among youth. This model has the potential to be replicated in other regions as a strategic effort to nurture a religious, well-characterized, and competitive young generation in facing global challenges.

The Independent Entrepreneurship Program is one of the strategic efforts of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of students through direct experiential learning. This program is present as a forum for students to not only understand entrepreneurship theory, but also to practice in real life the process of building and managing a business. In its implementation, the program involves active collaboration between universities, industry mentors, and field supervisors who play a role in providing direction, guidance, and evaluation of student business development. Through Independent Entrepreneurship, students are given the opportunity to design creative business ideas, run a business on a real scale, and solve various entrepreneurial challenges they face. This activity not only trains managerial, communication, and innovation skills, but also improves critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, students gain valuable experience in terms of teamwork, financial management, marketing strategies, building business networks, and the use of digital technology to support business sustainability. The results of the program implementation show positive impacts, including increased confidence, independence, and students' understanding of the real business world. Furthermore, this program encourages the creation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem in a sustainable campus environment and is able to be the forerunner of the birth of a young generation of Indonesian entrepreneurs who are resilient, innovative, creative, adaptive to changing times, and have high competitiveness. Thus, Independent Entrepreneurship not only plays a role as a skill development program, but also becomes one of the important foundations in preparing students to face the world of work and becoming independent business actors who are professional, visionary, sustainability-oriented, and make a real contribution to the nation's economic development.

Early character education plays a fundamental role in shaping a generation that is not only intelligent but also physically healthy, emotionally balanced, and morally responsible. The cultivation of these values from an early age is crucial to equip children with the resilience needed to face various social challenges in the future. This community service activity was designed to increase awareness among elementary school students regarding three critical issues: the dangers of drug abuse, the practices of bullying, and the detrimental impact of corruption. The program was conducted at SDN 1 Citeluk with the participation of approximately 80 students from grades IV to VI. The educational materials were delivered through an interactive approach combining lectures, group discussions, role-playing, and quizzes. This approach was selected to ensure that the learning process was enjoyable, engaging, and easily understood by children at the elementary school level. During the sessions, students were introduced to the basic concepts of drugs, their harmful effects on health and life, and the importance of avoiding them. Additionally, the program emphasized identifying the various forms of bullying—whether physical, verbal, or social—and encouraged students to develop empathy and mutual respect. Another important aspect addressed was corruption, where students were guided to recognize the value of honesty and integrity through relatable examples in daily life. The results of the activity revealed that students were able to clearly understand the dangers of drugs, recognize the different forms of bullying, and provide examples of honest and moral behavior. This indicates that early character education delivered through interactive and participatory methods can effectively enhance children’s comprehension of healthy and moral values. It is expected that similar programs can be carried out sustainably in elementary school settings as part of continuous character-building efforts to support the development of a responsible and ethical young generation

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Great Commission in the growth of the Mahanaim Community Church Semarang youth community. The focus of the study is directed at discipleship, evangelism, and development strategies based on the principles of the Great Commission and their impact on community growth. The growth referred to is not only related to the increase in the number of members, but also concerns the depth of faith, the formation of spiritual character, and the active involvement of the younger generation in church services. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with youth leaders and community members, direct observation of development and service activities, and analysis of internal documents held by the church. Triangulation techniques were used to ensure the validity of the data and strengthen the research findings. The results show that the implementation of the Great Commission carried out systematically, directed, and consistently proved very effective in encouraging the holistic growth of the youth community. Discipleship strategies through small groups and personal mentoring play a significant role in instilling strong faith values. Evangelism implemented creatively and contextually is able to attract the interest of the younger generation to join. Meanwhile, ongoing development provides space for youth to grow in service skills and channel their potential. Thus, the implementation of the Great Commission not only impacts the quantity of members but also the spiritual quality, commitment to service, and engagement of the younger generation with the church. This research provides a practical contribution to other churches seeking to develop youth ministry through a holistic and transformative approach based on the Great Commission.

Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious problem that requires a comprehensive prevention strategy. One key element in this effort is family education, which plays a frontline role in protecting adolescents from the negative influence of drugs. Through consistent education, supervision, and emotional support, families can build a foundation for positive behavior and mental resilience in adolescents. Effective family education includes open communication between parents and children, teaching moral and religious values, and creating a safe, harmonious, and warm home environment. Healthy communication allows adolescents to feel comfortable discussing problems or pressures they face, thereby minimizing the risk of falling into drug abuse. In addition to the role of the family, psychological approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) have proven effective in strengthening adolescents' resilience to social pressures and the temptation of drugs. CBT focuses on helping individuals recognize and change negative thought patterns and risky behaviors that trigger abuse. With CBT techniques, adolescents can learn stress management skills, improve decision-making skills, and develop healthier, adaptive behaviors. The integration of family education and CBT therapy results in a more holistic prevention approach. Families provide a foundation of morals, values, and emotional support, while CBT strengthens adolescents' psychological abilities to face life's challenges. This synergy can increase resilience, reduce vulnerability to negative influences, and equip adolescents with effective strategies for resisting drugs. By optimizing the role of the family and combining it with psychological interventions, it is hoped that a healthy, productive young generation will emerge, free from the threat of drugs, enabling them to contribute positively to society and the future of the nation.

Wise financial management from adolescence is an important skill that needs to be instilled early. However, low levels of financial literacy among students often make it difficult for them to manage their pocket money effectively. This community service activity aims to provide financial literacy education to students of SMA Negeri 3 Medan to improve their understanding and skills in managing their pocket money wisely and responsibly. The activity implementation methods included interactive counseling, group discussions, and simple financial planning simulations. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of basic financial literacy concepts, such as the importance of saving, budgeting, and distinguishing between needs and wants. Furthermore, students also showed high enthusiasm in participating in the activity and were able to independently develop personal financial plans. This education is expected to provide initial provisions for adolescents in developing healthy financial habits and encourage the creation of a more financially literate young generation

This research is motivated by the high rate of early marriage in Pamatan Village, which is a serious social issue and impacts the quality of life of the younger generation. This phenomenon is thought to be influenced by various social factors, including parental education level (X₁), family economic status (X₂), and school dropout rate (X₃). The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of these three independent variables on the decision to marry early (Y). This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach with an ex post facto design, where the researcher does not intervene on the variables, but rather analyzes the relationships that have occurred. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Data were collected through questionnaires to 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely teenagers or families with a history of early marriage. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the variables of parental education, economic status, and school dropout rate have a significant influence on the decision to marry early with a calculated F value of 139.302 which is greater than the F table of 2.699 and a significance value of 0.001. Partially, only economic status (X₂) and school dropout rate (X₃) significantly influence the decision to marry early, while parental education (X₁) does not have a significant influence. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.807 indicates that 80.7% of the variation in the decision to marry early can be explained by these three variables. This finding underscores the importance of efforts to improve education and empower family economics as a preventive measure to reduce the rate of early marriage among adolescents in the village.

The “Aku Anak Jujur” campaign is an anti-corruption educational program aimed at elementary and middle school students to instill honesty and integrity from an early age. The program aims to shape young generations to be aware of the dangers of corruption and the importance of honesty in daily life. Conducted online via Zoom, the program involved 16 participants. Materials were delivered through presentations, animated educational videos, interactive discussions, and games such as word scramble and fill the blank. The results showed that the interactive approach effectively engaged participants, enhanced their understanding of anti-corruption values, and encouraged self-reflection on honest behavior. This initiative successfully increased students' awareness of honesty and contributed positively to character development. Similar programs are recommended to be expanded to strengthen an anti-corruption culture from a young age.

The UIN Datokarama Thematic Community Service program has successfully organized the Towale Festival as an effort to revitalize the local culture of Towale Village. This study aims to analyze the impact of the festival on increasing young people's awareness of the importance of cultural preservation and the festival's contribution to strengthening the cultural identity of Towale Village. Through a qualitative method involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this study found that the Towale Festival has successfully created a space for young people to interact with their cultural heritage. In addition, the festival has also encouraged the emergence of new initiatives in cultural preservation at the community level. The results of this study indicate that activities such as the Towale Festival have great potential to strengthen local cultural values and involve young people in the preservation process.
