This study aims to evaluate the performance of administrative services in Mojoroto District, Kediri City based on the 2024 Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) Survey. Based on the survey results, all performance indicators showed very good results, with an aggregate IKM score reaching 93.12. The assessment of service quality includes employee competence, infrastructure, and service innovations such as online systems and mobile services. In addition, the timeliness of administrative processing, service effectiveness, and employee independence and work commitment were also recorded as optimal. The public gave a positive assessment of administrative services, exceeding their expectations according to the Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory (Oliver, 1980). However, there are obstacles such as disruptions to the information system, fluctuations in requests, and lack of document readiness from the public. This study contributes to improving the quality of public services, with recommendations for strengthening the IT system, managing fluctuations in requests, and increasing public awareness of the required documents. These findings are expected to be a model for effective and responsive public administration services for other sub-districts in Kediri City.

This study aims to analyze the effect of unemployment rate and health on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Lampung. This study uses a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis to test the effect of independent variables (unemployment rate and health) on the dependent variable (HDI). The results of the study indicate that the unemployment rate has a significant positive effect on the HDI, where an increase in unemployment has the potential to increase the HDI figure. On the other hand, the health variable does not show a significant effect on the HDI, indicating that although the health program is running, other factors such as the economy and education are more dominant in determining the HDI. Simultaneously, unemployment and health contribute to changes in the HDI, but the dominance of unemployment appears stronger.

The quality of human resources is an important aspect in regional development, which is reflected through the Human Development Index (HDI). HDI is influenced by various factors, including the economic conditions and education of the community. This study aims to analyze the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita and Average Length of Schooling (RLS) on HDI in South Kalimantan Province. The data used comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with a coverage of 13 regencies/cities during the period 2018 to 2023. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of R Studio software. The results of the study show that both GRDP per capita and RLS have a significant effect on HDI, both simultaneously and partially. The resulting model has an adjusted R² value of 0.8627, which indicates that 86.27% of the variation in HDI can be explained by these two variables. The classical assumption test including linearity, conditional zero error expectation, absence of multicollinearity, autocorrelation, homoscedasticity, and residual normality shows that the model used has met all the criteria as the Best Linear Unbiased Estimator (BLUE). Thus, this regression model is valid for use in estimating and making inferences on the factors that influence the HDI in South Kalimantan Province. This finding confirms that increasing education and economic growth are strategic steps in accelerating human development in South Kalimantan.

News objectivity serves as a crucial foundation for maintaining media integrity amid the digital information flow. This study aims to analyze the objectivity of news coverage by Kompas.com in the “Most Popular Index” section concerning the “First 100 Days of Prabowo-Gibran.” The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach and content analysis based on Westerstahl’s objectivity model, which includes the dimensions of factuality and impartiality. The findings indicate that the news coverage demonstrates a high level of factual accuracy and relevance, with information that is accurate, comprehensive, and sourced from credible references. The neutrality of news presentation is also maintained, free from evaluative or sensational elements. However, the aspect of balance still requires improvement, as most articles present only a single point of view. Kompas.com’s reporting on this topic can be considered objective in terms of factuality and neutrality, though the inclusion of diverse perspectives remains an important note for strengthening overall objectivity.

Securities companies are one of the key pillars in the capital market system. The performance of securities companies can be influenced by dynamic market conditions, particularly the fluctuations of Bitcoin, Indonesia Composite Index (ICI), and gold prices. This study aims to analyze the influence of Bitcoin, ICI, and gold prices on the financial performance of securities companies in Indonesia. The financial performance is measured using the profitability ratio, Net Profit Margin (NPM). The sample consists of quarterly secondary data from 24 securities companies that meet the research criteria during the 2021–2024 period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression after passing classical assumption tests. The results show that gold prices have a negative and significant effect on the NPM of securities companies, while Bitcoin and ICI had no effect. This indicates that an increase in gold prices tends to be followed by a decrease in the NPM of securities companies, and vice versa. This research is expected to assist the management of securities companies in formulating business strategies and risk management that are more responsive to fluctuations in Bitcoin, ICI, and gold prices.

The human development index is a way to assess the extent of the welfare of society in an area. Human development in Lampung Province is ranked lowest among other provinces on the island of Sumatra with a percentage of 70.45% in 2022. Departing from the geographical context of Lampung Province which is a vital route for economic activity between the islands of Java and Sumatra, this province has the potential to become a center distribution of goods and services at the national level. It should be able to increase employment and income in Lampung Province. So, it can reduce poverty and reduce unemployment. However, in reality, Lampung Province is still far behind other provinces on the island of Sumatra. The formulation of the problem in this research is how poverty and unemployment influence the human development index in Lampung Province. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a descriptive approach using panel data with a fixed effect model approach. The population in this research is data from the Human Development Index contained in the Central Statistics Agency of Lampung Province. According to the research results, X1 has a significant negative effect, X2 has no significant effect. The results of statistical tests state that the value of Prob. (F-statistic) is 0.000000.
