The phenomena of stigmata and divine apparitions represent profound religious experiences that demonstrate the dynamic relationship between faith, body, and consciousness. Through a phenomenological-theological approach and literature review, this study examines how these extraordinary events reflect the spiritual and psychological dimensions of faith. The results demonstrate that stigmata and apparitions are not simply supernatural phenomena, but existential encounters that express human participation in the suffering and presence of Christ. Phenomenological reflection affirms that faith is lived through bodily awareness, not merely understood conceptually. This study emphasizes the importance of discernment and theological interpretation of the church so that extreme religious experiences deepen authentic spirituality, rather than giving rise to superstition. Understanding stigmata and apparitions as transcendental experiences that transcend worldly limitations requires an openness to assess these phenomena in light of the doctrines of Christian faith. Furthermore, this study explores how these experiences contribute to the development of personal and church community spirituality and open up space for deeper reflection on the human relationship with God. Ultimately, this study bridges phenomenology and theology, demonstrating that divine experiences enrich the Christian understanding of the incarnation, suffering, and grace of God present in human existence.

The understanding of the doctrine of humanity and sin in Christian theology reveals the essence of human nature and the need for divine redemption. This study aims to examine theological perspectives on human nature and sin, focusing on the relationship between the Imago Dei and the fall of humanity. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review, the research analyzes biblical texts and theological interpretations from various Christian scholars. The results show that humans, created in the image and likeness of God, were originally good and endowed with moral and spiritual capacity. However, through sin, humans experienced separation from God and moral corruption. Nevertheless, God’s grace through Jesus Christ enables the restoration of humanity’s divine image and reconciles the broken relationship with the Creator. The study highlights that understanding these doctrines helps believers realize their dependence on God’s grace, leading to repentance, transformation, and ethical living. The implication encourages Christians to maintain a responsible, spiritual, and moral life as a reflection of the renewed image of God within them.

This study examines in depth the meaning of gratitude expressed in the traditional Wu’u Nura ceremony in Daniwato Village, West Solor, as well as in the Eucharistic celebration, which stands as the central liturgy of the Catholic Church. The Wu’u Nura ceremony is a communal tradition of thanksgiving for the harvest, expressed through symbolic rituals, offerings of agricultural produce, collective prayers, and ceremonial practices that reflect a harmonious relationship between humans, nature, ancestors, and God. Through these rituals, the community strengthens social cohesion, cultural identity, and religious awareness that have been passed down across generations. In contrast, gratitude within the Eucharistic celebration is understood as an expression of faith and a theological response to God’s salvific grace manifested through Christ’s sacrifice, made present in the consecration of bread and wine. Using a qualitative method and comparative approach, this study reveals that although differing in expression, structure, and theological foundations, both practices uphold gratitude as a universal value that fosters spiritual relationships and social solidarity. The findings affirm that dialogue between local culture and Church liturgy—within the spirit of inculturation—can enrich the understanding of faith, deepen spiritual life, and support the preservation of meaningful local traditions. This study contributes significantly to cultural and theological scholarship, as well as pastoral efforts aimed at fostering harmony between religion and culture in pluralistic societies.

Indonesia's cultural diversity demands a process of inculturation, in which local values enter into dialogue with faith. This study examines the Lodong Me tradition in Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara, as a ritual of thanksgiving for birth that is essential and relevant amidst the challenges of modernity. The aim is to describe the meaning of Lodong Me and analyze its encounter with Christian faith through an inculturation approach. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants and tested using source triangulation. The results show that Lodong Me is interpreted culturally and theologically as gratitude for divine grace, where gratitude to ancestors and God (Ama Pu) is placed in a harmonious arrangement. This ritual has been proven to meet the criteria for genuine adaptation because it has compatible values (such as work ethic and responsibility to care for creation) and effectively strengthens the congregation's faith experience. By implication, this case study enriches the literature on inculturation in Indonesia and makes an important contribution to the Church's pastoral care in Sikka to prevent duality of belief.

The disruptive era, characterized by rapid technological advancement, shifting social paradigms, and the globalization of ideas, presents a profound challenge to Christian Education, particularly in the realm of sexual ethics. The pervasive visibility of the LGBT phenomenon often creates a reactive response within Christian communities, leading to a perceived dichotomy between upholding biblical authority and extending Christ-like compassion. This article argues that this disruption should not be viewed merely as a threat but recognized as a Kairos moment a critical and opportune time for theological and pedagogical renewal. Employing a methodology of theological reflection and conceptual analysis, this study explores how Christian educators can move beyond polarized debates to reconceive their role. It proposes a framework for fostering a sexual ethic that is simultaneously biblically grounded and pastorally compassionate. This involves a deliberate rethinking of pedagogical approaches that engage students in critical dialogue with both Scripture and contemporary culture. The article contends that an authentic biblical ethic is not merely about prohibition but about forming disciples who understand God's design for human flourishing, relationships, and sexuality. By seizing this Kairos moment, Christian Education can empower students to navigate a complex world with convictional clarity and empathetic grace, thereby transforming a challenge into a catalyst for a more holistic, effective, and faithful ministry.

The distribution of inheritance is an important issue in Indonesian society which adheres to a plural legal system, namely Islamic law, customary law, and western civil law. One of the issues that often raises differences of opinion is the position of biological children and adopted children as heirs. In Islamic law, the right to inherit is based on the relationship of the nasab so that the biological child gets a clear share, while the adopted child does not have the right to inherit but can still be given a share through a grant or obligatory will. In contrast, Toba Batak customary law emphasizes the patrilineal principle, whereby sons, including legitimate adopted children through mangain customary ceremonies, are positioned as the successors of the clan and are entitled to inheritance except hereditary inheritance. This study uses a literature study method by examining literature related to Islamic law and Batak Toba customary law and qualitatively analyzed. The results of the study show that the difference in principles between these two legal systems gives birth to social and legal conflicts in the Batak Muslim society, especially when religious and customary values must be carried out together. However, opportunities for harmonization remain open through the application of the principle of justice that recognizes the position of adopted children in customary structures, as well as upholding sharia by granting rights through the mechanism of compulsory wills. These findings emphasize the need for an integrative approach in resolving inheritance disputes in order to create legal certainty, social justice, and maintain cultural and religious harmony.

This article discusses humans who seek a name for their own fame in Genesis 11:1-9. Those humans want to find a name so that they will not be scattered all over the earth. The construction of the tower of Babel became a popular story in the days of Noah's descendants because of its towering structure. This became a reference for the humans to seek a name so that the whole world would recognize their greatness and power. The Tower of Babel became a symbol of human pride and arrogance. Seeking a name outside of God is inappropriate and will only bring the Lord's wrath, instead the right thing to do is for man to approach the LORD God not to seek a name for his greatness but to glorify the LORD. Therefore, in relation to this point, the research was conducted through hermeneutic work with the method of historical criticism. The researcher does hermeneutic work to get the right meaning and can be a reference for readers, especially for the GMIM Alfa Omega Kumaraka In .

Social changes driven by globalization and advancements in digital technology have led to a shift in the values surrounding human sexuality, from being sacred to becoming increasingly liberal and permissive. This phenomenon has triggered an identity crisis, particularly among the younger generation. This study aims to explore the meaning of self-control as presented in Sirach 5:2 and to evaluate its relevance as an ethical and theological foundation in addressing the contemporary crisis of sexuality. The method employed is a literature study using a qualitative-theological approach and textual analysis of Sacred Scripture. The findings indicate that self-control in Sirach 5:2 is not merely the suppression of desire but an expression of moral and spiritual maturity grounded in wisdom and divine grace. In light of Christian ethics, this virtue shapes responsibility, chastity, and fidelity within human relationships. Thus, self-control becomes a fundamental basis for building personal integrity and a dignified direction of life amidst a permissive cultural current.

Pre-production photography is a comprehensive stage of preparation and planning before the production and post-production stages. This stage includes determining ideas, visual concepts, technical planning, location selection, and budget and schedule management. This stage is crucial to ensure the smooth running and success of production by minimising problems during shooting. Conceptual photography is photography with a design that carries a specific concept. This type of photography is included in fine art photography, which focuses on conveying ideas and abstract feelings through images. The resulting photographs prioritise the idea behind the work and often use imagination. The pre-production stage of the conceptual photography ‘Mother's Hands’ depicts mothers as loving and strong figures who maintain their identity as women with traditional Javanese nuances. This work conveys a message about the balance between domestic roles and self-esteem and reflects cultural values. The balance between the roles of woman and mother is the concept. The mother is the bearer of household responsibilities and an educator, while also being a woman who maintains her dignity and appearance with grace as a form of self-respect. Visually, this photographic work presents a Javanese mother who is a housewife and her accomplished daughter, who is the result of her mother's upbringing. The photoshoot took place indoors, with gebyok accents and other supporting props in line with the concept. The final result of the conceptual photography ‘Tangan Ibu’ is a photo that combines aesthetic and narrative elements through a meaningful visual presentation. This work provides an experience that is not only visually appealing but also invites emotional engagement from the audience. It can also serve as a reference for photography.

The concept of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) encourages companies to enhance transparency in disclosing their economic, social, and environmental performance through sustainability reporting, which is expected to increase accountability and serve as a positive signal to investors. In Indonesia, particularly in the manufacturing sector that contributes significantly to the economy while also generating environmental impacts, sustainability reporting practices have been expanding, although their effectiveness in building investor trust remains contested. This study aims to analyze the influence of sustainability reporting and profitability on investor trust in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), employing a quantitative method based on secondary data from annual and sustainability reports for the period 2020–2023. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, while the analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression with Price to Book Value (PBV) as a proxy for investor trust. The results indicate that, simultaneously, economic performance, environmental performance, social performance, and profitability significantly affect investor trust. However, partially, economic, environmental, and social performance show no significant effect on investor trust. In contrast, profitability exerts a positive and significant influence, making it the primary factor shaping investor trust. These findings suggest that investors in Indonesia still prioritize financial information over sustainability disclosures in making investment decisions.

Young generations in the digital era face serious challenges in maintaining their Islamic identity due to the rapid flow of globalization, the penetration of popular culture, and the influence of social media, which often contradict Islamic values. This condition has led some adolescents and youth to experience moral degradation, a decline in interest toward religious studies, and a tendency to be more attracted to instant entertainment content. Conventional religious studies that are monotonous are often less appealing to Millennials and Gen Z, thus requiring innovative models of religious education that are relevant, engaging, and suitable for the characteristics of the digital generation. This Community Service Program (KKN) carried the theme “Strengthening Islamic Character of Young Generations through Interactive Multimedia-Based Studies at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Central Lampung Regency.” The main objective was to improve the understanding, internalization, and practice of Islamic values through creative, participatory, and enjoyable approaches. The program was implemented over one month with eight face-to-face sessions. The methods included interactive lectures, motivational video screenings, Islamic animation, group discussions, digital quizzes, and the establishment of an online discussion group via WhatsApp to maintain continuity of learning. Evaluation was carried out through field observation, pre-test and post-test, as well as in-depth interviews with participants and partners. The results showed an increase in religious understanding from an average of 58% to 82%, with active participation reaching 87%. Moreover, a youth community named Forum Pemuda Islami Lampung Tengah (FOPILTENG) was established, which is committed to continuing monthly studies independently. Technical obstacles such as limited multimedia facilities were successfully overcome by facilitators’ creativity, including utilizing simple devices and free digital platforms. Overall, the interactive multimedia-based approach proved to be effective in enhancing learning motivation, strengthening Islamic character, and fostering togetherness among youth. This model has the potential to be replicated in other regions as a strategic effort to nurture a religious, well-characterized, and competitive young generation in facing global challenges.

This study analyzes the application of the compound interest concept in evaluating capital growth among vegetable vendors at the MMTC Traditional Market in Medan, North Sumatra. The research highlights the low level of financial literacy among micro-entrepreneurs in Indonesia, which currently stands at only 38.03%, and its implications for business sustainability. Traditional market traders generally employ basic bookkeeping practices focused solely on daily cash flow, without considering the time value of money or the growth potential from systematic profit reinvestment. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study combines semi-structured interviews to explore existing financial management practices with quantitative modeling based on the discrete compound interest formula to simulate various capital growth scenarios. The analysis reveals that disciplined reinvestment strategies, even when initiated with modest capital and conservative growth rates, can lead to substantial capital accumulation within three to five years. Three primary barriers to capital growth were identified: limited understanding of financial mathematics, lack of long-term planning, and a tendency to prioritize immediate consumption over investment. This research underscores the transformative potential of compound interest principles for micro-enterprise development and recommends practical financial literacy training along with supportive financial ecosystems that encourage sustainable reinvestment practices.

The Unnoni Weaving Center is a community-led, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development center for traditional weaving. Despite its significant potential, many entrepreneurs in this center face challenges in determining appropriate product prices. They typically rely solely on intuition or follow market prices without considering all production cost components, resulting in very small profit margins and even the risk of incurring losses. In response to these challenges, this community service program was designed to improve the ability of SMEs to determine more rational, measurable, and profitable selling prices through comprehensive and applicable training in production cost calculations. The methods employed included outreach, workshops, intensive mentoring, and hands-on simulations on pricing based on real costs and reasonable margins. The program was conducted in two sessions at the Unnoni Weaving Center Hall, involving 25 local weaving entrepreneurs. The results showed significant improvement, with participants' understanding of identifying production cost components increasing by 76%, while approximately 80% successfully conducted simulations for determining selling prices, taking into account raw materials, labor, overhead costs, and profit margins. The tangible impact of this activity is seen in increased business literacy, more systematic calculation skills, and the confidence of SMEs in determining prices and negotiating with consumers and business partners. Furthermore, this activity is expected to be a starting point for the implementation of a simple financial recording system, increased operational efficiency, and the development of a branding strategy for Unnoni woven products so they can compete more professionally, sustainably, and with high competitiveness in both local and global markets.

Gunungsari Village, Windusari District, is one of the areas facing quite serious challenges in efforts to develop basic literacy in school-age children. The main problems faced are low interest in reading, limited access to adequate reading materials, and learning methods that are still conventional. These conditions have implications for many children who are not able to read and write fluently despite having received an elementary school education. In response to this situation, the community service team took the initiative to implement a literacy program that uses an interactive learning approach through the development of a literacy park. This program is not only designed to be a learning platform, but also to create a learning atmosphere that is fun, contextual, and involves the active participation of children. Various activities are implemented, including storytelling, the provision of a reading corner, educational games such as math games, vocabulary quizzes, and the provision of simple rewards to maintain high learning motivation. This program activities are carried out periodically with the involvement of the school, the surrounding community, and also the village government, so that its sustainability has the support of various parties. The results of the implementation show a significant increase in children's literacy skills. Not only are they reading more fluently, but they are also better able to comprehend story content and write simple ideas. Furthermore, the children appear more confident in expressing themselves, are more active in every learning activity, and are beginning to demonstrate positive reading habits. A culture of literacy is also slowly growing through the existence of child-friendly and inclusive literacy parks. This proves that a fun, community-based literacy approach is highly relevant in rural areas with limited resources and can be a simple yet impactful means of educational transformation for children's futures.

In a global context marked by religious pluralism, secularization, and a crisis of faith identity, a theological understanding of God’s covenant with Abraham (Genesis 12:1–3) becomes increasingly significant. The rise of postmodern thought has weakened grand narratives, including the theological narrative of Christianity, leading to a fragmented understanding of faith. This study aims to explore the theological, spiritual, and social implications of the Abrahamic covenant using a contextual hermeneutical approach that engages with the current socio-religious realities of Indonesia. The covenant highlights God’s unilateral initiative, a structure of blessing that encompasses personal, national, and universal dimensions, and a call to faith that demands obedience amid uncertainty. Its relevance is evident in shaping the church’s identity as a covenant community, fostering a holistic missional paradigm, and cultivating a spirituality rooted in divine grace. In the Indonesian context, the principle of “blessed to be a blessing” challenges the church to engage actively in social transformation and interfaith dialogue. This study also examines the covenant’s contribution to the development of ecclesiology, missiology, and Christian ethics, while reaffirming the importance of a faith grounded in trust rather than certainty. Through interviews and literature review, the research offers a theologically reflective and contextually grounded perspective. The findings demonstrate that the Abrahamic covenant is not only a historical foundation of Christian faith but also a spiritual blueprint for the contemporary church to respond to the challenges of the age with obedience, courage, and an inclusive missional vision

This Real Work Lecture (KKN) activity was carried out in Kampung Tua Teluk Mata Ikan, Batam, with the aim of making a real contribution to the community through two main programs, namely the development of digital marketing for Ujung Beach tourist destinations and the implementation of social service activities at the Al-Kahfi Foundation. The problems faced by partners are the lack of digital promotion strategies for tourism potential and the limited support of adequate social facilities at the foundation. To overcome these problems, this service activity uses field observation methods, digital marketing training, mutual cooperation on environmental cleanliness, and socialization to the community and foundation administrators. The training includes social media content creation, digital account management, and internet-based marketing strategies to increase the attractiveness of Ujung Beach as a local tourist destination. In addition, social activities are carried out through joint community service, provision of basic needs assistance, and clean environment education. The results of the implementation of this program show an increase in public awareness of the importance of using digital technology for tourism promotion, as well as the creation of a cleaner, neater, and more comfortable social environment. The enthusiasm of the community and the foundation showed a positive response to this activity, which contributed to strengthening the socio-economic capacity of the residents. Overall, this KKN program not only provides a short-term impact in the form of improving skills and environmental cleanliness, but also encourages the sustainability of local tourism development and community empowerment. The active involvement of students in the planning and evaluation process also strengthens the spirit of collaboration and social concern which is the main basis of this service activity.
