Tax aggressiveness is a company's effort to reduce the tax burden. The reduction in taxes was due to differences in interests between companies and the government. This study aims to determine the effect of return on asset, leverage, capital intensity, and company size on tax aggressiveness. This study uses agency theory. This theory relates to the relationship between principal and agent. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data sources in the form of annual financial reports through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study were property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018-2022 as many as 53 companies. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with 3 specified research criteria so that a sample size of 12 companies was obtained with 60 data obtained. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 24 application program. The results of the study showed that partially leverage, capital intensity and company size had a significant effect on tax aggressiveness, while return on assets did not have a significant effect on tax aggressiveness. To get better results in subsequent research, the population can be expanded to include more samples and other variables such as liquidity and corporate social responsibility can be used

Companies often carry out this tax avoidance strategy in an effort to reduce the amount of tax they have to pay. There are two ways for businesses to lower the taxes they pay. In the first case, the business world can reduce the tax value by implementing tax avoidance while still complying with relevant tax laws. The research results show that business strategy, transfer costs, and capital intent have an influence on tax avoidance. As well as business strategy, transfer costs and capital intentions can be mediated by CSR on tax avoidance.

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate social responsibility and capital intensity on tax evasion by using research samples of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 - 2020. The taxes levied by the state function as the main source aiming to finance public expenditures and function as a tool to regulate and implement policies in the social and economic fields and to be used for the greatest prosperity of the people and the people. The phenomenon of tax avoidance in Indonesia can also be seen from the tax ratio (Tax Ratio). Tax collection performance can be seen from the ratio of taxes collected by the state. Tax avoidance is a saving on the amount of tax payable, individual and corporate taxpayers use the weak points of existing tax rules, in carrying out their tax management. Tax avoidance is also associated with tax planning, both of them use legal means to reduce or even eliminate tax obligations, but from a tax policy point of view, neglecting tax avoidance practices can result in injustice and reduced efficiency of a tax system. . The results obtained from this study are that corporate social responsibility has a negative effect on tax evasion. Meanwhile, capital intensity has no effect on tax evasion. This study uses a quantitative approach. This test is done with linear regression

This study uses a type of quantitative research using secondary data in the form of annual reports. In this study, the population is consumer goods industry companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period using a purposive sampling technique. Based on this technique, 31 companies were obtained with a span of 4 years of observation, so that 124 observation data were obtained. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this study indicate that capital intensity has no effect on tax avoidance and institutional ownership has a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance. Then profitability as a moderator is not able to moderate the effect between capital intensity on tax avoidance, while profitability is able to moderate the relationship between institutional ownership on tax avoidance. Suggestions for future researchers to be able to add other variables that affect tax avoidance and to be able to use other sector companies as objects of observation in order to be able to compare the results of one company's research with another.

Numerous businesses are capable of implementing a wide range of tax planning techniques. Tax avoidance, or legally lowering taxes, is one tax planning tactic. Tax avoidance strategies typically use loopholes in the tax code without breaking any of them. In addition, they use tax law gaps to perpetrate tax evasion. While this tax evasion tactic is legal, the corporation using it is still receiving funding from the state. In 2013, 832 foreign investment companies were suspected of engaging in tax fraud in Indonesia due to their five consecutive years of loss reporting and nonpayment of taxes. This study aims to investigate and evaluate the effects of capital intensity, profitability, leverage, and majority share ownership on tax evasion. The Current Effective Tax Ratio is used in this study to generate tax avoidance. Mining businesses that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2017–2021 make up the population and sample for this study. With 37 observational data points, 7 mining companies make up the research sample. A multiple linear regression model is the research methodology employed in this study. Version 22 of the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science was used to process the data for this study. The study's findings demonstrate that tax evasion is not much impacted by profitability or leverage. Conversely, capital intensity and majority share ownership have a detrimental impact on tax evasion.

The population of study consist of 41 manufacture corporates registered at the IDX which the observation period during year 2019 to 2020. Based on the data analysis and result of study applying Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square or SEM-PLS, the evidence shows that there is no impact significantly from sales growth to profitability. Meanwhile, sales growth has an impact positively to leverage; financial leverage has an impact negatively to profitability; and financial leverage could mediate the effect of sales growth variable to profitability. In addition, capital intensity has an impact negatively to profitability. As the implication, this result recommends that manufacture companies should avoid using debt to finance their operation because it could lead to a decrease in profits.

The research conducted by the author is to determine the effect of deferred tax on capital intensity, capital intensity, and firm size on tax aggressiveness. The sample used in this study is BEI BUMN20 (top twenty constituents) contained in the BEI BUMN20 Fact Sheet Index as of December 2022 during 2019-2022. The technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and a test of the coefficient of determination. The test results show that the level of the deferred tax burden can have a positive but not significant effect on tax aggressiveness. Capital intensity has a significant effect on tax aggressiveness then company size has a positive but not significant effect on the tax aggressiveness variable. This variable depends on tax aggressiveness. The coefficient of determination obtained is 13.5%, which can be interpreted if the independent effect on the variable is 13.5%.

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, leverage, capital intensity on tax aggressiveness, and moderated by company size. This study conducted in manufacturing entities listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) over the period of 2017-2019. This study used 63 manufacturing companies and 181 samples. The method of analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis(MRA) to prove the role of moderating variabel. The results show that Leverage had an effect on tax aggressivenes, whereas liquidity, capital intensity and firm size had no effect on tax aggressivenes. This study also prove that firm size weakens the relationship between leverageand tax aggressiveness, while firm size not proven as a moderating variable on the relationship between liquidity, capital intensity on tax aggressiveness.
