This study explores the development of integrated language skills assessment instruments for Korean as a foreign language (KFL) learners in higher education, addressing the need for tools that reflect real-world communicative demands. Grounded in theoretical frameworks such as Bachman and Palmer's Communicative Language Ability model[1] and Vygotsky's Sociocultural Theory[2], the research employed a mixed-methods approach, including needs analysis[6], corpus studies, and pilot testing. The research process involved three primary phases: First, a comprehensive needs analysis was conducted among KFL instructors and students to identify assessment gaps and priorities. Second, authentic Korean language materials were collected to create a corpus that informed the development of contextualized assessment tasks. Finally, the instruments underwent rigorous pilot testing with 127 KFL students across three Indonesian universities. The developed assessment instruments integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through task-based scenarios that mirror authentic Korean language use contexts. These include collaborative problem-solving activities, multimedia-based comprehension tasks, and culturally situated role-plays. Statistical analysis demonstrated high inter-rater reliability (r=0.87) and construct validity when compared with established Korean proficiency measures. Results demonstrated the instruments' reliability, validity, and cultural relevance, fostering holistic skill development and promoting positive washback on teaching and learning practices. Implementation of these instruments led to significant improvements in students' integrated language performance and motivation. The study contributes to the field of Korean language assessment by providing empirically validated tools that bridge classroom learning with real-world language application in higher education contexts.

Socializing and improving literacy movement skills in schools have not yielded maximum results because of the low level of mentoring and training to improve literacy awareness and skills among students and teachers. Many teachers still assume that literacy is the responsibility of Indonesian language subject teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of folklore as a medium for strengthening Indonesian language literacy in the world of education. This study used a library research method to analyze the use of folklore as a medium for strengthening Indonesian language literacy. This research aims to elucidate the significance of restorative justice during the investigative phase and the legal assurance for investigators who apply restorative justice in cases of party noncompliance with the agreement. The author employs normative legal research, which involves the collection and analysis of legal documents pertinent to the subject at hand. This legal research employs the statute and case approaches. This writing employs primary and secondary legal materials. This article conducts prescriptive research. The findings of this research indicate that, initially, the concept of restorative justice during the investigative phase prioritizes substantive justice over procedural justice. We seek to establish substantive justice as the cornerstone of our rule of law, as it presents a promising opportunity for enhancing national well-being. The rule of law in Indonesia ought to foster the well-being of its citizens, and for this purpose, the notion of restorative justice, synonymous with substantive justice, is selected. Secondly, investigators lack legal clarity while implementing restorative justice if the participating parties violate the agreement. It may evolve into a complex issue when investigators seek to address broad criminal charges via restorative justice. The restorative justice concept is not acknowledged in general criminal offenses, although being governed by the Police Chief Regulation. Nonetheless, it is perceived that it still fails to offer legal certainty to investigators in the event of a future breach of contract or if the reported party defaults on their commitment or repeats their conduct.

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the need for the development of a chemistry e-module combined with the KingDraw application on isomer material at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. This study uses a survey methodology with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from interviews with chemistry teachers and the results of filling out questionnaires by 84 students. The results of this study indicate that teachers have not developed technology-based teaching materials that can help students in learning chemistry. The teaching materials used are in the form of textbooks containing writings and several two-dimensional images. Thus, it can be said that learning is still conventional and has not followed the development of the digitalization era. This is indicated by the minimal use of technology in learning activities. In learning, teachers only rely on lecture and discussion methods. Therefore, it can be concluded that the development of a chemistry e-module collaborated with the KingDraw application needs to be implemented to motivate students to learn and improve their understanding of chemical concepts independently. This module can also be used anytime and anywhere.

This research explores strategies to support novice learners in developing their writing skills in the English Education Study Program at an Indonesian university, the Islamic Institut of Palangka Raya. Writing is often considered one of the most challenging aspects of language learning, requiring a combination of vocabulary knowledge, grammatical precision and structural coherence. The participants, five beginner learners, were selected using purposive sampling and underwent a writing task that progressed from sentence-level exercises to paragraph construction. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and direct observation, and analyzed thematically. Findings showed that challenges such as limited vocabulary, grammatical errors, and psychological barriers such as low self-confidence hindered students' progress. Effective strategies included guided sentence construction, collaborative writing exercises, and exposure to structured templates and quality reading materials. The participants reported improved confidence and skills through positive feedback and step-by-step writing tasks. The findings suggest that integrating motivating and structured learning methods can significantly improve writing ability among beginners, contributing to their academic and personal growth.

Academic literacy requires the use of citation techniques. It will authenticate research, acknowledge the original authors, and assist readers in locating additional reading materials. The citation styles of authors and scholars who publish on ScienceDirect and Google Scholar are examined in this study. Five research papers from each of these platforms are examined in our analysis, which focuses on the three primary citation strategies—direct quotation, paraphrase, and description that are outlined in Wang's framework (Wang, 2006). Our analysis reveals that while both platforms effectively employ these tactics, there are discernible differences in their implementation. Specifically, ScienceDirect papers tend to have more seamless citation integration, which enhances readability and coherence. The ScienceDirect articles do a great job of contextualizing direct quotes, simplifying complex ideas, and providing in-depth descriptive analyses that improve understanding without disrupting the flow. This research significantly advances writing abilities by determining the best practices for integrating citations into academic discourse. It highlights the need of considering platform-specific considerations when writing academic publications, particularly for researchers who are not native English speakers, and how understanding how different citation styles impact readability and coherence facilitates scholarly writing.

This paper studies the microeconomic theories of Abu Ubayd and Al-Syaibani. Although these two figures have different views on how to deal with economic problems, especially microeconomics, both have the same goal of wanting to improve the welfare of the people and get the pleasure of Allah SWT. The writing of Abu Ubayd and Al-Syaibani's microeconomic theory aims to show the public that the differences of opinion of Islamic economic thinkers are a good attitude because it is part of science and can be applied in real life. This journal uses a qualitative approach. The type of research conducted is library research. Library research is a type of research in which all data comes from written materials such as books, manuscripts, journals, and related documents. Abu Ubayd argues that international trade that is too free, namely by imposing zero tariff fees, will hinder the country's economic growth because in Islam there is no concept of free trade (even though the imported goods are purchased goods). As-Syaibani's economic thinking is used to build employment or entrepreneurship today, where many MSMEs are productive and become indicators of the nation's economy.

This writing aims to describe the development of the Social Studies curriculum in Indonesia. Social studies education in Indonesia did not just appear and develop, but through a long journey full of dynamics. This article reviews social studies education from a historical perspective and its development using historical research methods, which include the steps of heuristics, source criticism (external and internal), interpretation, and historiography. The development of the social studies curriculum in Indonesia has adopted the concepts of social studies education in several major countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom, which became a reference because of the similarity of the conditions of multicultural society and the background of the country's unstable situation at that time. Nevertheless, the development of social studies education in Indonesia is adapted to the conditions of society and government in the country, which has an impact on the preparation of curriculum and implementation of learning in schools. Along with technological advances, social studies education also continues to grow by utilizing a variety of learning resources and media. In addition, the development of social studies learning materials also involves the active participation of the wider community.
