Restaurant menu translation plays a vital role in attracting international tourists and expanding the culinary market of a region. This study aims to analyze restaurant menu translation strategies using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis of translated menus. The findings indicate that description, adaptation, and amplification are the most commonly used strategies to improve the readability and appeal of menus in the target language. These strategies help bridge linguistic and cultural differences, making it easier for tourists to understand the content of the menu. However, translation errors were still found and may lead to misunderstandings and decrease the attractiveness of certain dishes.In addition to qualitative analysis, a survey was conducted involving 50 foreign tourists in tourist areas to gain insight into their perceptions of menu translations. The survey results revealed that 80% of respondents found the menu translations clear, although 20% still encountered confusion with some terms. Moreover, 75% stated that appealing menu descriptions increased their interest in trying local dishes. Regarding language preferences, 60% of respondents preferred menus that included original dish names with English descriptions, while 40% favored full English translations. Some tourists also suggested including more detailed information, such as spiciness levels and main ingredients.Overall, effective menu translation not only enhances the culinary experience of tourists but also strengthens a restaurant's competitiveness and supports the promotion of local cuisine in the global market.

This study aims to analyze the “influence of the number of tourists, the number of tourist objects on the original revenue of North Lombok Regency in 2014-2023”. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach. The type of data used in this study is time series data. The data is processed using the Eviews version 10 application using the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that partially the independent variable Number of Tourists (X1) has a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Regional Original Income (Y). While the variable number of tourist objects (X2) has no significant effect on local revenue (Y). The test results simultaneously Test (F) obtained that the independent variable (Number of Tourists and Number of Tourist Objects) has no significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Regional Original Income (Y) of North Lombok Regency.

Wisata Pantai Indah Popoh yang berada di Desa Besole Kecamatan Besuki merupakan wisata unggulan Kabupaten Tulungagung. Akan tetapi, Wisata Pantai Indah Popoh ini kalah bersaing dengan wisata- wisata baru yang memiliki desain yang menarik sehingga jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung semakin menurun. Beberapa fasilitas pada destinasi wisata juga rusak, tidak layak, dan masih belum memadai. Hal ini juga dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan material dalam pengembangan fasilitas penunjang wisata yang kurang tepat sehingga diperlukan adanya metode pemilihan material sehingga diperoleh material yang berkualitas dan ideal.  Selain itu, pendekatan Neo-Vernakular dugunakan untuk terciptanya keselarasan antara material, desain, dan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan penjabaran eliminir pada prosesnya. Hasilnya penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemilihan material yang ideal dapat diperoleh dari karakteristik material gaya arsitektur, analisis SWOT, manufacturing and logistics, end of life recycling.

Indonesia is a country with diverse culture and tourism. The rapid development of technology causes changes. Sukaraja village has religious tourism potential which has not been utilized optimally through social media.  The BATU GOONG Cultural Heritage Site and its MSME actors are one of the main attractions, but have not utilized platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter for promotion. Therefore, there are three stages of activity plans which include training on creating social media accounts, tourism and MSME digitalization seminars, as well as developing Instagram and Facebook content. These three stages aim to increase the promotion of Batu Goong religious tourism so that there will be an increase in visitors.

This research analyzes user satisfaction of the Surabaya Tourist Ticket, which is a digital platform designed to make it easier to purchase tourist tickets in the city of Surabaya which is managed by the Surabaya City DISBUDPORAPAR. This analysis was carried out using the End User Computing Satisfaction model which measures the content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness of the application. The result of the analysis shows that this application has a positive and significant influence on a user satisfaction in the content, accuracy, ease of use, and timeliness variables, but the format variable has a positive but not significant influence on the user satisfaction. From the result of this analysis, it can be seen that the Surabaya Tourist Ticket has been successful in meeting needs so that users feel satisfied. The implication of this research is to support further development to improve the appearance and maintain performance so that the existence of the Surabaya Tourist Ticket website and tourism in the city of Surabaya increase so that regional income also increases.

Digital marketing has become a critical element in promoting tourism destinations, particularly in attracting young tourists who are highly connected to technology. Sawarna Village in Lebak Regency, Banten, holds significant natural tourism potential, such as beaches and caves, but faces challenges in implementing promotional strategies that align with the digital behavior of the younger generation. This study employs a literature review method to analyze effective digital marketing strategies, focusing on social media, visual content, and influencer engagement. The analysis reveals that creative use of social media, a visual storytelling approach, and collaboration with micro-influencers can enhance the appeal of tourism destinations. Additionally, search engine optimization (SEO) and location-based marketing campaigns play a vital role in improving Sawarna Village's visibility on digital platforms. This study recommends digital skill training for the local community to support destination promotion and foster digital transformation in the rural tourism sector. These findings emphasize the importance of technology-driven marketing strategies to enhance the competitiveness of rural tourism destinations in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze tourists' awareness of the impact of waste at Ancol Beach during the holiday season. Waste issues have become a significant environmental concern in tourist areas, particularly during holidays when the number of visitors increases drastically, interviews were conducted with tourists from various linguistic backgrounds to assess their perceptions of beach cleanliness, understanding of waste impact on the environment, and participation in waste management efforts. Primary data were obtained through interviews and direct observation at Ancol Beach, while secondary data were sourced from literature related to waste management in tourist areas. The findings indicate that tourists' awareness levels vary, with significant differences between local and international tourists. Furthermore, although many tourists recognize the negative impact of waste, further educational efforts are needed to enhance participation in maintaining beach cleanliness. This study also highlights the importance of collaboration between tourism managers, the government, and tourists in addressing the waste problem at Ancol Beach.

This study analyzes the impact of international tourist arrivals and their spending on the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in Indonesia from 2009 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression, the study examines the relationship between two independent variables nternational tourist arrivals and average tourist spending and the dependent variable, which is the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. Data for this research were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Tourism, and Bank Indonesia. The analysis results show that the number of international tourist arrivals does not significantly affect the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. However, average tourist spending has a significant negative effect, indicating that tourists with higher spending tend to choose higher-star hotels. The simultaneous F test reveals that both variables jointly have a significant effect on hotel occupancy rates. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 45.52% indicates that both independent variables can explain the variation in the occupancy rate of star-rated hotels. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government and tourism industry stakeholders focus on promoting destinations that attract high-spending tourists and improving the quality of star-rated hotel accommodations to meet the preferences of international tourists.

Sendang Seloaji Tourist Attraction Herbal Education Park which is located in Slaji Hamlet, Randualas Village, Kare District, Madiun Regency, the herbal education park in the Sendang area has various types of herbal plants such as Mint (Mentha piperita), Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana), Cat's Whiskers (Orthosiphon aristatus), Lavender (Lavandula officinalis), Telang (Clitoria ternatea), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Nerve leaves (Hemigraphis alternate), Seven Blade Needles (Pereskia bleo (Kunth) D.C.), Red Betel (Piper ornatum), green betel (Piper betle L.), Turmeric (Curcuma Longa), and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). The aim of this community service is to increase public knowledge about the benefits of medicinal plants and increase the attraction of tourists to visit the Sendang Seloaji tourist attraction. The methods used in this community service are socialization/counseling on toga plants and the practice of creating a herbal educational garden. As a result of this service, people are starting to understand the various types of herbal plants that can be used as medicine. They now better understand the importance of healthy living and understand natural treatment alternatives that are more affordable and have minimal side effects, have higher motivation to learn, and are more enthusiastic about planting herbal plants. This program proves that a learning approach that directly involves the community can build unity among each other and increasing the number of tourists at the Sendang Seloaji tourist attraction is expected to improve the economy of the Randualas community.

This research aims to analyze the influence of the attractiveness of Batak culture on the level of tourist visits in Samosir Regency. This research data is in the form of primary and secondary data. The sampling process in this research used purposive sampling with a sample size of 80. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression tests. It can be concluded that the attractiveness of Batak culture influences the level of tourist visits in Samosir Regency. This can be seen from the value of the Simultaneous Test (T Test) which is used to determine the percentage influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). The results obtained show that the Fcount value is 6.681. Meanwhile, Ftable is 2.495, so Fcount is greater than Ftable (6.681> 2.495) or a significant level of 0.000 or sig F <5% (0.000<0.05). This means that together the Attraction variable influences the level of visits (Y) of cultural tourism in Samosir Regency. So in this case, cultural tourism destinations have the potential to be developed into tourist attractions so that they can increase the level of local and foreign tourist visits.

The Influence of Social Media on Tourist Interest in North Toraja. The purpose of this research is to determine whether social media has an impact on tourist interest in North Toraja. Data collection techniques in this study include documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The population in this research consists of tourists visiting tourist attractions in North Toraja, with a sample size of 85 respondents. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test. The results of partial testing (t-test) indicate that the social media variable has an influence on tourist interest in North Toraja.

The promotion and marketing efforts by the Tourism Office of Karimun Regency aim to introduce and effectively promote local tourist destinations to both domestic and international visitors. According to a previous study by Andriani (2020), the development of tourist sites in Karimun Regency has not yet been fully realized by the local government. This research aims to reexamine and optimize Karimun's tourism potential through programs implemented by the Tourism Office, supporting local economic changes. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews with informants, field notes, and relevant official documents. It focuses on examining the promotion strategies carried out by the Tourism Office to increase tourist visits. Based on Kooten's theory, there are four strategic indicators: organizational strategy, program organization, resource support strategy, and institutional strategy. The research results show that all strategic indicators have been implemented well in accordance with funding from the center, providing a positive impact on the development of tourist destinations and increasing the number of tourists who come to visit tourist attractions in Karimun district. However, if funding is not in accordance with the annual plan, the program that has been prepared by the marketing and promotion division will have an impact, hampering efforts to increase tourist visits from both inside and outside Karimun Regency.

Every company must have a certain strategy to attract the attention of consumers (visitors). Seeing the decline in the number of visitors to the Kinantan Wildlife and Cultural Park in 2023. TMSBK has carried out renovations aimed at beautifying it and attracting the attention of visitors. Regarding this renovation, it is included in one of the marketing mix (7P), namely Physical Evidence. According to Kotler and Armstrong, Physical Evidence is one of the real things that influences consumers' decisions to buy and use the products or services offered. However, what happened was that the number of visitors decreased. The research method used is to use a field research method or qualitative field research, namely direct observation of the object being studied in order to obtain relevant data. The primary data source in this research is the management of TMSBK Bukittinggi, while the secondary data source is the visitors of TMSBK Bukittinggi. According to the research findings, the IFAS matrix score of 2.57 suggests that the company holds a strong internal position. Conversely, the EFAS matrix score of 2.40 indicates a weak external position for the company. This means that the company does not take advantage of existing opportunities or avoid external threats. Then, seen from a sharia business perspective, TMSBK has not been optimal in implementing the sharia business concept, because in Islam itself good business will provide mutual benefits between the company and visitors, especially in providing services to visitors. However, TMSBK focuses more on renovating tourist attractions and does not prioritize services to provide comfort to visitors.

Pelatihan Desain dan Digital Marketing ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) oleh mahasiswa Universitas Mahakarya Asia Baturaja di Desa Pusar, Kecamatan Baturaja Barat, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat, khususnya anggota Pokdarwis (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) dan Karang Taruna Desa Pusar, dalam memasarkan objek wisata Kubang Naga melalui media sosial, khususnya Instagram. Pelatihan mencakup pengajaran pembuatan desain promosi yang menarik menggunakan aplikasi desain grafis seperti Canva, serta pengeditan foto dan video menggunakan aplikasi Lightroom dan CapCut. Selain itu, peserta diberikan pemahaman mengenai strategi digital marketing untuk mempromosikan objek wisata secara efektif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat membuat desain promosi yang menarik, memahami pentingnya digital marketing dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisata, serta lebih aktif memanfaatkan media sosial untuk mempromosikan objek wisata. Dengan pelatihan ini, diharapkan Desa Pusar dapat meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan, khususnya wisata Kubang Naga, melalui pemanfaatan desain grafis dan pemasaran digital yang lebih efisien.

The Indonesian region has a wealth of natural and cultural resources that provide large capital for the tourism sector. Tourism is one of the creative economies that is currently in the development stage. New Celosia Bandungan is one of the tourist destinations that has high appeal in the Bandungan area, Central Java. This research aims to analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) as well as policy analysis that can be carried out to develop tourist attractions owned by New Celosia as a tourist destination. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection through field observations, interviews with informants, and documentation. The analysis results show that New Celosia has several strengths, such as affordable ticket prices, attractive photo spots, and complete facilities. However, weaknesses were also found, such as non-functioning rides and relatively expensive food prices. Regarding opportunities, the strategic location and increasing tourism demand provide potential for further development. On the other hand, threats such as competition with other tourist attractions and extreme weather must also be anticipated. Based on this SWOT analysis, it is recommended that New Celosia Tourism improve the management of facilities and services, as well as take advantage of existing development opportunities to increase visiting interest and competitiveness in the tourism industry.

This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction quality on tourist satisfaction at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis with the independent variable of tourist attraction quality and the dependent variable is tourist satisfaction. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 tourist respondents at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the quality of tourist attractions had a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction at Becici Peak by 68.3%, the remaining 31.7% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This study provides practical implications for Becici Peak managers in improving the quality of tourist attractions to increase visitor satisfaction.

The focus of research in writing this thesis is (1) What is the tourism development strategy to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction? (2) What is the strategy for developing human resources to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction? (3) What is the most effective role of media in reaching and influencing the target audience of tourists, especially in the context of digitalization and developments in information technology? This type of research is field research using a descriptive method approach. In collecting data researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers double-checked to obtain the data obtained and used triangulation techniques, with the aim of obtaining data validity. After that, analyzing it through data reduction and making conclusionsng the validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the research results show that (1) tourism development strategies to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction are carried out in various ways, including strategies including adding tourist attractions, developing accessibility, developing amenities, developing public facilities. the role of government. (2) human resource development strategy to increase tourist visits to the Puncak Jowin Tulungagung tourist attraction by implementing a capacity building strategy which includes Human Resource (HR) Development, Strengthening organization, Institutional reform (institutional reform) (3) Media strategy that most effective in reaching and influencing the target audience of tourists, by referring to technical and practical means. by implementing promotions on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok to influence the audience of data tourists to Puncak Jowim tourism.

Banjaroya Village, Kulon Progo Regency has many tourism potentials, one of which is the Chocolate Cocoa Park. As an educational tourist attraction based on agrotourism, the Chocolate Cocoa Park serves several activities offered to tourists related to the cultivation of Cocoa plants and Chocolate production. However, in this case, the Chocolate Cocoa Park has not packaged and programmed the activity services well. The results of the study show that there are several things that need to be fixed in packaging and providing educational package programs at the Chocolate Cocoa Park. The thing that needs to be fixed is the way to package the tour package, it needs to display an itinerary so that tourists feel easy and can manage their time to participate in the activity. Then the programming is by grouping the activities offered according to the focus of each activity so that tourists can choose what focus activities they want to participate in.

The use of social media, especially Instagram, has become a widely utilized platform for promoting tourist destinations. Instagram @tanjongtinggi_official is one such social media channel used by Tanjung Tinggi Beach for promotion. Through the use of photo and video features on Instagram, it becomes easier to promote Tanjung Tinggi Beach to tourists who are not yet familiar with it. This research aims to explore the promotional planning through the @tanjongtinggi_official account in increasing tourist visits to Tanjung Tinggi Beach in Belitung. The research method employs qualitative research to elucidate the uniqueness of @tanjongtinggi_official on Instagram in promoting its tourism. This study adopts a case study design. Data collection is conducted through observation and interviews, with informant selection using purposive sampling technique. Interviews are conducted with key informants, namely the admin of @tanjongtinggi_official and Instagram users who have visited Tanjung Tinggi Beach. Data analysis utilizes the Interactive Model technique, and validity is ensured through triangulation of data collection techniques including informant interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the planning carried out by the @tanjongtinggi_official Instagram account utilizes visually appealing content presentation and captions, leverages the following feature on Instagram, relevant hashtag usage, photo postings, reposts, mentions, tagged photos, and active interaction with followers to facilitate the promotion of Tanjung Tinggi Beach to tourists, thereby increasing tourist interest in visiting.

Aplikasi Purwakarta adalah aplikasi yang dapat memberi kemudahan bagi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kabupaten Purwakarta. Berdasarkan observasi terhadap fitur yang ada pada aplikasi Wisata Purwakarta dan pada ulasan di Play Store dan wawancara terhadap 5 orang pengguna aplikasi Wisata Purwakarta, ditemukan bahwa terdapat masalah di aspek UI dan UX pada aplikasi mobile Wisata Purwakarta. UI pada aplikasi Wisata Purwakarta memiliki masalah seperti penggunaan layout, typography, dan icon yang kurang cocok dengan konten yang disuguhkan. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode user centered design ini dikenal sebagai suatu proses berpikir komprehensif yang berkonsentrasi untuk menciptakan solusi yang diawali dengan proses understand context of use terhadap suatu kebutuhan tertentu yang berpusat pada manusia (user centered) menuju suatu inovasi berkelanjutan berdasarkan kebutuhan penggunanya. Metode ini memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu Understand Context of Use, Specify User Requirements, Design Solutions dan Evaluate Against Requirements Untuk melakukan pengujian atau test peneliti melakukan pengujian system usability scale. Hasil dari penelitian itu menghasilkan prototype aplikasi Wisata Purwakarta yang sudah di redesign. Berdasarkan pengujian prototype menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS), rata rata nilai sus yang didapatkan sebesar 80,1. Dapat disimpulkan redesign aplikasi Wisata Purwakarta sudah dapat diterima karena memenuhi kategori acceptable.
