Community service with the theme of Socialization and Education of Legal Products for MSME and Creative Economy Actors in Temberan Village, Pangkalpinang City, is based on field conditions, where many MSME actors in the region do not have legal legality for the businesses they run and lack basic knowledge regarding product packaging and brand creation that have high marketability. As a result, their businesses are not developing to strengthen the creative economy and enhance the capacity of actors. The model used in this program is a direct dialogue method with the MSME actors. The discussion results showed that of the 26 participants, only 1 MSME actor had received guidance and had an NIB (Business Identification Number), but lacked a halal certificate and patent rights for their product brands. The other 25 participants were briefed for the first time regarding the importance of legal legitimacy for their business. Therefore, it can be concluded that these 25 MSME actors do not have legal legitimacy for their businesses. The team provided assistance to help register their businesses by collaborating with relevant agencies. Regarding product branding, it was found that all participants had not optimized their product branding, as most MSME actors in Temberan Village packaged their products simply without attractive branding, packaging, colors, or packaging materials. Many even used plastic wrapping without a brand. The team intervened intensively by providing further assistance to MSME actors in Temberan Village, utilizing information and communication technology to help determine product brands for those without one and to select packaging materials that follow current trends, shapes, colors, and materials to make the product more attractive and increase branding and consumer interest.

This study aims to analyse the factors influencing the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City. Specifically, it examines the effects of accounting understanding, information technology utilisation, and MSME owners’ perceptions on SAK EMKM implementation, with SAK EMKM socialisation as a moderating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 109 MSME actors selected through purposive sampling. Data were analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate relationships among variables. The results indicate that accounting understanding and MSME owners’ perceptions have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of SAK EMKM. Meanwhile, information technology utilisation shows a significant but suboptimal impact, as technology is still primarily used for operational purposes rather than for financial reporting. In addition, SAK EMKM socialisation does not significantly moderate the relationships between the independent variables and SAK EMKM implementation. The originality of this study lies in the inclusion of SAK EMKM socialisation as a moderating variable and the focus on MSMEs in Semarang City as the research context. This study contributes to the development of accounting practices for MSMEs by emphasising the importance of internal capacity building and more practical-oriented socialisation programs to improve the quality of financial reporting.

Prosiding Seminar Nasional Ilmu Ekonomi dan Akuntansi 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

Financial literacy plays an important role in supporting the ability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to adapt to the development of digital payments in Indonesia. The increasing use of QRIS, e-wallets, mobile banking, and technology-based payment services requires MSME actors to understand the benefits, risks, and proper use of digital financial services. This study aims to examine the role of financial literacy in the use of digital payments among MSMEs in Indonesia, including supporting factors, obstacles, and implications for strengthening MSME digitalization. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a systematic literature study method. The data were obtained from 13 scientific articles indexed in nationally accredited journals at least Sinta 4, published between 2021 and 2026, and supported by official documents from relevant authorities. The findings show that financial literacy plays a role in increasing the readiness, trust, and decisions of MSME actors to use digital payments. However, low financial literacy, perceived risk, limited infrastructure, and conventional transaction habits remain obstacles to digital payment adoption. The implications of this study indicate the need for inclusive digital financial education, continuous assistance, and collaboration among the government, regulators, financial institutions, and fintech providers in strengthening the digital transformation of MSMEs.

This research was conducted for the purpose of ascertaining law enforcements for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) business actors in Indonesia based on Law No. 55 of 1999 concerning Prohibition of Monopolistic Practices and Unfair Business Competition. It also analyzes the role of government in providing enforcements to small and Medium Enterprises. In this study, normative legal research was used. It found that the legal protection of small businesses competition in Indonesia is a manifestation of the implementation of economic democracy that contains the principles of justice and togetherness to encourage creating opportunities for every businessman in a healthy competition environment. It also found that healthy competition aims to avoid a monopoly of certain business actors only, but it could provide business opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises business actors to enlarge their business.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving local economic development, particularly in rural areas that rely on the utilization of local natural resources. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in marketing aspects, especially limited use of digital technology, weak branding, and unattractive product packaging. This community service activity aims to strengthen the marketing strategy of the “Nek Surati” cassava chips MSME located in Dolok Village, Nagori Boluk, Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. The methods employed include field observations, interviews with MSME actors, descriptive analysis of existing problems, and practice-based (hands-on) assistance through digital marketing training, improvement of packaging design, and strengthening of product branding. The results indicate an increase in the digital readiness of the MSME actor, as evidenced by the adoption of WhatsApp Business, the creation of digital product catalogs, and the utilization of social media as a promotional tool. In addition, improvements in packaging design and brand identity enhanced the visual appeal and product image in the eyes of consumers. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in accelerating regional economic growth and improving community welfare. However, MSMEs in North Sumatra Province continue to face various challenges, particularly limited access to capital, low adoption of digital technology, and insufficient business assistance. This community service program aims to strengthen the MSME ecosystem through integrated empowerment initiatives, including facilitating access to financing, enhancing the use of internet-based technologies, and improving the capacity of MSME actors. The methods applied include business mentoring, training activities, and analysis of MSME performance in both short-term and long-term perspectives. The results indicate that expanded access to capital and increased adoption of digital technology contribute positively and significantly to MSME income growth in both the short and long term. Interestingly, the absence of guidance, training, and extension services shows a positive correlation with income in the short term but has a significant negative impact on business sustainability and stability in the long term. Furthermore, reliance on bank loans consistently demonstrates a significant negative effect on MSME performance across both analytical periods. These findings highlight the importance of building a sustainable MSME ecosystem through continuous mentoring, improved financial literacy, and adaptive digital transformation to ensure long-term business resilience.

This study aims to explore the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors regarding financial statements as a basis for applying for Islamic financing. Financial statements play a crucial role in assessing business feasibility, especially in Islamic banking which emphasizes the principles of transparency, justice, and accountability. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations involving MSME actors and Islamic banking practitioners. The results indicate that most MSME actors have limited understanding of financial statements, both in terms of preparation and utilization, which impacts their ability to access Islamic financing. Therefore, collaboration between Islamic banks and educational institutions is needed to improve MSME financial literacy, so they are better prepared and have sufficient understanding to prepare financial reports in accordance with Sharia principles. This is expected to improve access to and the quality of financing received by MSMEs in Indonesia.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, but still face significant obstacles in intellectual property rights protection, particularly patents and trademarks. This study aims to analyse the legal aspects of patent and trademark registration for MSMEs based on the Indonesian legal framework, with a focus on the implementation of Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright and related intellectual property regulations. The research method uses a normative legal approach with a literature analysis of legislation, scientific journals, and the latest statistical data. The results of the study show that the level of patent and trademark registration by MSMEs in Indonesia is still very low, with only 2.3% of MSMEs having registered their trademarks in 2023. The main obstacles include limited legal understanding, high registration costs, complex administrative procedures, and a lack of socialisation. This study recommends simplifying regulations, subsidising registration costs, improving legal education, and strengthening synergy between the government, academics, and MSME actors to improve the protection of intellectual property rights in the MSME sector in Indonesia.

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) play a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy, serving as key drivers of inclusive economic growth and major contributors to employment creation. Despite their importance, many UMKM operators continue to face significant challenges in financial management, particularly due to the absence of structured and systematic financial record-keeping practices. This condition is also evident among UMKM in Kuning Gading Village, Unit XVIII Kuamang Kuning, where most businesses are still managed in a traditional manner with inadequate bookkeeping systems. This community service program aims to enhance financial literacy and strengthen the capacity of UMKM actors to implement simple bookkeeping as a foundation for effective business financial management. The methods employed include needs assessment through field observation, educational and practical training sessions, hands-on mentoring, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills related to transaction recording, separation of business and personal finances, and preparation of simple cash flow statements. Evaluation outcomes show an increase in competency scores from an initial range of 20%–40% to 75%–85% after the training. Furthermore, the program fostered a positive shift in participants’ mindset toward more professional and accountable business management practices. Therefore, the implementation of simple bookkeeping is proven to be an effective initial strategy for strengthening MSME financial governance and supporting sustainable business development at the local level.

The rapid growth of the creative economy, particularly in the culinary subsector, has prompted micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital marketing strategies as a means to enhance competitiveness and expand market reach. This study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) approach with content analysis to map key concepts, identify research gaps, and explore future research directions concerning the transformation of culinary MSMEs from local kitchens to digital markets. Findings reveal that organizational learning mediated by motivation, culture, leadership, and continuous digital marketing practices plays a pivotal role in this transformation. However, significant research gaps persist, including limited longitudinal studies, inadequate integration of organizational culture and leadership into digital marketing frameworks, and insufficient comparative analyses across diverse MSME profiles. This study contributes theoretically by synthesizing fragmented literature on culinary marketing in the digital creative economy and offers practical insights for MSME actors, mentors, and policymakers in designing adaptive and sustainable digital marketing strategies.

With financial inclusion acting as a moderator, the goal of this study is to examine how financial technology use and financial literacy impact microbusiness performance. Microbusinesses in Bandar Lampung City's food and beverage industry serve as the research subjects. This study employs a quantitative approach, using questionnaires to collect primary data from microenterprises. Purposeful sampling was used to choose 203 microbusinesses that met the research criteria. SPSS was utilized to analyze the data using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The study's conclusions imply that the use of financial technology has an effect on microenterprises' performance. Additionally, it has been shown that financial literacy affects microenterprise performance. The findings show that key components in increasing microbusiness performance are the use of financial technology and the entrepreneur's capacity to supervise and make financial decisions. However, the test results indicate that financial inclusion cannot boost the impact of financial technology and financial expertise on microbusiness performance. This implies that the influence of financial technology and financial knowledge on business success is not necessarily enhanced by having access to financial services. It also shows that a key factor in increasing the success of microbusinesses is the characteristics of the entrepreneur. The research's objectives are to assist important stakeholders in creating plans for microenterprise growth, as well as to assist microenterprise actors in improving their financial literacy and utilizing financial technology to its fullest.

The digital era presents challenges as well as opportunities for business actors, especially Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Accelerating the adoption of digital technology-based payment systems is an urgent need so that MSMEs are able to compete and improve transaction efficiency. This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out in Cendoro Village, Tuban Regency, with the aim of providing assistance to MSME actors through the implementation of a QRIS-based digital payment system. The method of implementing PKM consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, needs are identified and socialization of QRIS benefits are carried out. The implementation stage includes technical training on the use of QRIS as well as direct assistance in the implementation of non-cash transactions. The evaluation stage was carried out to measure the level of understanding and application of QRIS by participants. The results of the activity showed that participants understood the concept of digital payment and were able to apply QRIS in daily transactions. In addition, this activity encourages an increase in the adoption of QRIS which has an impact on efficiency, transaction security, expansion of market access, and local economic growth. The main obstacles faced include limited technological knowledge, uneven internet access, and operational costs. Thus, this PKM contributes to strengthening digital literacy and supporting technology-based economic transformation in Cendoro Village, Tuban Regency.
