The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of liquidity, asset efficiency, and capital structure on profitability in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, using Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) as an investment-based profitability indicator. This research employs secondary data from the annual financial statements of pharmaceutical manufacturing companies over a specific period, with multiple linear regression analysis and robust models to ensure model feasibility. The results indicate that liquidity has no effect on profitability. Asset efficiency has a significant negative effect, reflecting the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry with its high asset intensity. Capital structure has a significant positive effect on profitability, suggesting that measured use of debt can enhance the company’s return on investment. These findings provide theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on investment-based profitability determinants and practical implications for corporate management, investors, and stakeholders in understanding internal factors that influence the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia.

Investors consider firm value as an indicator of a company’s success and its future prospects. Several financial variables, such as firm size and capital structure, are believed to influence firm value in the banking industry. Financial institutions with large total assets are often perceived as more stable and less vulnerable to risk, thereby increasing investor confidence. In addition, capital structure, commonly measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), plays an important role in evaluating a company’s financial performance and its impact on firm value. This study aims to examine the effect of firm size and capital structure on firm value in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2024. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Secondary data were obtained from financial statements and stock price information published on the official IDX website. The sample consists of 12 BUKU 2 banking companies selected through purposive sampling, with an observation period of five years. Firm size is measured using the natural logarithm of total assets (Ln Total Assets), capital structure is proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm value is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). The results indicate that, simultaneously, firm size and capital structure have a significant effect on firm value.

Achilles tendon rupture is a common lower extremity injury that significantly affects functional mobility and gait performance. Post-operative patients frequently experience pain, edema, limited range of motion (ROM), muscle weakness, and impaired ambulation. Physiotherapy rehabilitation plays a crucial role in restoring tissue integrity and functional capacity. This case study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of combined electrotherapy modalities and therapeutic exercises in a post-operative left Achilles tendon rupture patient. The intervention included ultrasound therapy, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), infrared therapy, dry needling combined with Percutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (PENS), and progressive therapeutic exercises such as isometric training and calf raises. Clinical outcomes were evaluated through ROM measurement, Manual Muscle Testing (MMT), edema observation, and gait analysis across four therapy sessions. Results demonstrated gradual improvement in dorsiflexion and plantarflexion ROM, reduction of edema, increased gastrocnemius-soleus muscle strength, and restoration of independent ambulation without assistive devices. The multimodal physiotherapy approach appears to support tendon healing, enhance neuromuscular activation, and accelerate functional recovery during the subacute post-operative phase.

This research try to examine how investment choices in property and real estate sector businesses listed on IDX (2020-2024) are impacted by the cost of debt and equity. For the accuracy of the analysis, this study also uses firm size and profitability as controler. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling process, which produced seven qualifying organizations with a total of 35 observations over a five-year period. Panel data regression was used for data analysis, and the Common Effect Model was shown to be the best estimation model. The findings show that investment decisions are significantly influenced by firm size, profitability, cost of debt, and cost of equity all at the same time. Nonetheless, investment choices are not much impacted by the cost of debt. Similarly, it has been demonstrated that the cost of equity has no appreciable effect on the capital expenditures of the businesses. Firm size has a favorable and substantial impact, making it the main motivator for investment activity in the real estate industry. During the study period, investment decisions were not significantly impacted by profitability. These results show that, especially in the post-pandemic economic recovery era, asset capacity and economies of scale are more important for the viability of real investment projects for property firms on the IDX than yearly variations in capital costs.

Company value is an important indicator that reflects company performance and investor perceptions of future business prospects and sustainability. Various strategic decisions made by management, such as capital intensity management, investment decisions, and tax aggressiveness policies, play a significant role in shaping company value. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of capital intensity, investment decisions, and tax aggressiveness on company value through a literature review approach. The method used is a literature review by examining various relevant national and international scientific articles obtained from academic databases such as Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and SINTA. The results of the study show that capital intensity has a positive effect on company value because it reflects long-term production capacity and operational efficiency. Investment decisions have also been proven to have a positive effect on company value because they signal management's optimism about future growth prospects. Meanwhile, tax aggressiveness can increase company value through tax savings and increased cash flow, but it has the potential to cause reputational and governance risks if done excessively. Overall, the reviewed literature shows that these three variables have an impact on company value, with the caveat that optimal and transparent management is necessary. This study is expected to serve as a reference for further research and as a consideration for company management and investors in making strategic decisions.

Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality in everyday musical practice constitute the main analytical framework of this study. This research departs from the view that musical professions are often reduced to hobby-based activities, whereas in practice they involve work strategies, professional attitudes, and negotiation between artistic idealism and market demands. This study employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with two musicians in the city of Solo, Aditya Ong and Indra Permana, who represent different backgrounds, professional roles, and musical orientations. The findings indicate that modality comprising experience, musical skills, and professional networks forms the foundation of musicians’ professionalism. Professionalism is reflected not only in technical competence, but also in work ethics, responsibility, and the ability to position oneself within various musical work contexts. Work quality is not understood normatively as good or bad, but as the outcome of how musicians manage their modality and professionalism in specific working situations. This study concludes that musical practice in Solo is shaped through continuous negotiation between artistic orientation, market demands, and the pursuit of livelihood stability. Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality are interconnected in forming musicians’ strategies to sustain their musical practices amid the dynamics of the local music industry.

Prosiding Seminar Nasional Ilmu Ekonomi dan Akuntansi 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the interrelationship between profitability, capital structure, firm size, and tax avoidance. It employs a descriptive analysis method combined with a literature review approach. The study draws upon various prior empirical studies indexed in Sinta 2 and Scopus Q2 from the period 2021–2024, as well as relevant secondary data sources. This approach is intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing firms’ propensity to engage in tax avoidance practices. The results of the literature review indicate that there is a relationship between firms’ tendency to engage in tax avoidance and profitability, capital structure, and firm size. Higher profitability leads to increased tax burdens, thereby encouraging management to implement tax planning strategies in an effort to reduce the tax liabilities that must be settled. Furthermore, firms with higher proportions of debt and equity tend to have greater flexibility in managing their financial policies, which may influence their tax strategies. In addition, larger firms typically possess greater resources and broader access to professional expertise, enabling them to better identify and exploit opportunities for tax avoidance in order to maintain cash flow stability. It is expected that this study will contribute theoretically to the development of the literature on taxation and corporate finance. Moreover, the findings are anticipated to serve as a consideration for regulators in formulating more effective tax supervision policies.

This study analyzes the factors that influence the cost of equity capital in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020–2023. The study focuses on information asymmetry, earnings management, voluntary disclosure, and business diversification as determinants of the cost of equity capital. This study is relevant to the dynamics of the financial market after the decline in Bank Indonesia's benchmark interest rate in the 2024–2025 period, which has the potential to change investor preferences and increase attention to the quality and transparency of company information. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from companies' financial statements and annual reports. The sample was determined using purposive sampling and resulted in 177 observations from 46 companies over four years of observation. The cost of equity capital was measured using the Ohlson model, while hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that earnings management and voluntary disclosure have a significant effect on the cost of equity capital. Conversely, information asymmetry and business diversification were not found to have a significant effect. These findings confirm that the quality of financial reporting and the level of information disclosure play an important role in shaping investors' risk perceptions and return expectations.
