This study aims to identify misconceptions that may occur in working on arithmetic series operations among PGMI-3 students at UIN North Sumatra. Arithmetic series are an important topic in mathematics that is often used in various scientific contexts. However, misconceptions in understanding and performing arithmetic series operations can be an obstacle to strong understanding and problem-solving abilities. This research uses survey and test methods to identify misconceptions that generally arise when PGMI-3 students work on arithmetic series operations. The research results show that there are several misconceptions involving understanding the general formula for arithmetic series, calculating the nth term, and adding terms in a series. Most of these misconceptions are related to an inaccurate understanding of the basic concepts of arithmetic series. This study also attempts to identify factors that may contribute to these misconceptions, including teaching methods, teaching materials, and students' educational background. The results provide important insights for the development of curricula and teaching approaches that are more effective in understanding arithmetic series operations. With a better understanding of the misconceptions that may arise in working on arithmetic series operations, appropriate action can be taken to overcome this problem and help PGMI-3 students at UIN North Sumatra develop a better understanding of mathematics. Many researchers, including lecturers, teachers, students, and the general public, have adopted apps to help them write articles. Students are currently expected to produce scientific articles published in accredited journals or respected international journals as part of their final assignment. However, from the observations of the service team, there are several problems faced by the service partners, especially MPI students. They have difficulty preparing scientific article manuscripts and are less familiar with applications that can speed up the preparation process. To overcome this, the service was carried out through lecture, discussion, and mentoring methods using service-learning, which involved pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation stages. The results of this service showed that the training provided participants with understanding and knowledge about using the Perplexity application as a tool to speed up the preparation of articles and paraphrasing to avoid plagiarism. This is evident from the comparison of the participants' pre-test and post-test results before and after the training.

The influence of the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) on the world of education, so that both teachers and students are required to always adapt to existing developments. Technology is the result of knowledge originating from the world of education therefore the world of education should utilize technology to increase efficiency in learning. Chemistry among students is still considered material that is difficult to understand. One of its attractions is the abstract nature of chemical material. Chemistry learning does not only include theoretical learning but also includes practical activities. This research was carried out to determine the effect of using a virtual laboratory on students' skills during direct practicum. The method used in this research is a quantitative method that uses a lot of numbers, starting from data collection, interpretation of the data and presentation of the results. A total of 52 students in class XI, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 1 Sliyeg. Presenting the results in the form of a representative table will increase the reader's level of understanding and make it easier to access information. Virtual laboratories help students understand the practical process. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from filling out the questionnaire, it was found that 78.8% or the majority of students answered agreeing that the virtual laboratory had an effect on increasing pH testing. This proves that the use of virtual laboratories can be a way out so that when doing direct practicum students do not experience difficulties and the practicum runs more effectively.

The primary objective of this research is to analyze the extent to which the agricultural sector can contribute to the improvement of social and economic conditions in these nations. The research method involves the analysis of secondary data from various sources, including agricultural production data, food consumption patterns, and socio-economic and policy factors that influence the agricultural sector. The results of the study indicate that the agricultural sector plays a significant role in reducing poverty and enhancing welfare in developing countries. Firstly, the agricultural sector provides employment opportunities for a significant portion of the rural population, often the most vulnerable to poverty. By improving productivity and access to food resources, the agricultural sector can help reduce hunger and malnutrition. Thirdly, the agricultural sector has the potential to support national economic growth by supplying raw materials to the food processing and textile industries. This creates additional economic opportunities and enhances the competitiveness of developing countries in the global market.
