Cooperatives play a crucial role as business entities in enhancing the people's economy in Indonesia. Rooted in the principles of kinship and mutual cooperation, cooperatives aim to improve the welfare of their members and society at large, rather than merely pursuing profit. This study employs a descriptive analysis method to examine the role of cooperatives as a pillar of the people's economy, focusing on their contributions to microeconomic empowerment, job creation, and strengthening community purchasing power. The findings indicate that cooperatives significantly contribute to local economic growth, particularly through synergy with MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), as well as by providing members with access to capital and training. However, challenges such as weak management, low financial literacy, and inadequate technological adaptation still hinder the optimization of cooperatives' roles. On the other hand, sharia cooperatives also emphasize social functions based on principles of justice and social responsibility. To enhance the contribution of cooperatives, institutional strengthening, professional management, and regulatory support from the government are required. Thus, cooperatives remain relevant as instruments for inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

This study aims to examine the application and deviation of conversational maxims in Grice's cooperative theory in the podcast "Sule and Rizwan". This podcast was chosen because it presents interactions full of humor, spontaneity, and communication dynamics that are interesting to study pragmatically. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with listening and note-taking techniques as data collection instruments. Data in the form of utterances containing maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and method are analyzed based on Grice's cooperative principle. The results of the study show that the speakers in this podcast consciously or unconsciously apply the four Grice maxims, but also often deviate from them for the purpose of humor, satire, or dramatic effect. These deviations do not interfere with communication, but rather enrich the meaning and strengthen the appeal of the conversation. These findings indicate that violation of maxims in the context of entertainment is not a form of communication failure, but rather an effective pragmatic strategy.

This study aims to explore how cooperative learning strategies contribute to the enhancement of students’ religious character within the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Using a literature review approach, this research collects and analyzes various scholarly sources concerning cooperative learning models, religious character values, and the teacher’s role in shaping students' personalities based on Islamic principles. The findings indicate that cooperative learning strategies not only engage students cognitively but also create a learning environment that fosters the internalization of religious values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and tolerance. The teacher's role as a facilitator is crucial in guiding group dynamics to be infused with moral and spiritual values. Thus, this strategy proves to be both relevant and effective in supporting a holistic approach to religious character education.

This study explores Mohammad Hatta's influence on housing policies in Indonesia, highlighting his integration of Islamic principles into public policy to enhance societal welfare. Hatta viewed housing as a fundamental human right that extends beyond physical needs to encompass spiritual and social dimensions. Grounded in Islamic values such as justice (‘adl), trust (amanah), and solidarity (ta'awun), his policies aimed to ensure equitable access to adequate housing, particularly for low-income communities, while promoting holistic well-being. Hatta’s vision aligned with Islamic teachings that emphasize fairness and state responsibility in fulfilling basic human rights, as reflected in QS. An-Nisa: 58. His ideas inspired initiatives like the Sejuta Rumah (One Million Houses) Program and Tapera (People’s Housing Savings), which address housing disparities and support societal harmony. Additionally, Hatta championed cooperative-based housing development, fostering community participation and mutual assistance, which not only ensured affordable housing but also empowered local economies. By integrating Islamic principles into housing policies, Hatta demonstrated how public policy could balance material, social, and spiritual needs to achieve sustainable societal welfare. His approach offers a valuable framework for future housing programs to promote justice, inclusivity, and collective prosperity.

This study aims to identify and describe the violations of the cooperative principle in the dialogues of the films My Stupid Boss and My Stupid Boss 2 directed by Upi Avianto, using Paul Grice’s conversational maxims as the analytical framework. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with observation and note-taking techniques for data collection. The data were taken from character dialogues that indicated violations of the maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner. The findings reveal that the most frequent violations occurred in the maxim of quantity, predominantly by the main character, Bossman. These violations do not always hinder communication but often generate conversational implicatures that reflect the character’s speech style, personality traits, and comedic effects.

This study aims to analyze bad debts on the financial performance of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data analysis techniques using bad debt analysis and financial performance analysis by measuring financial ratios such as liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative, Kupang City Branch for a period of 5 years from 2019-2023. The results showed that bad debts at the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative were caused by the inability of cooperative members to pay off their obligations so that the cooperative's receivables became difficult to collect and had an impact on the cooperative's financial performance as measured by the liquidity ratio from 2019 to 2023 which decreased because the cooperative's cash decreased and its receivables increased, the Solvency Ratio indicates an increase in risk due to increased debt without balanced asset growth. The Profitability Ratio shows a decrease in net income which affects the operational sustainability of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The results of this study provide recommendations for the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative in overcoming the risk of bad credit, namely taking a rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring approach, applying prudential principles, conducting regular monitoring and monitoring of financial performance and credit risk so that cooperatives can make quick and appropriate decisions to maintain financial stability and operational sustainability.

Sharia cooperatives are Sharia-based economic institutions that play a strategic role in empowering the economy of the Muslim community. By adhering to principles such as the prohibition of riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling), as well as implementing profit-sharing systems (mudharabah or musharakah), Sharia cooperatives provide a fair, transparent, and inclusive alternative to support economic activities in society. These cooperatives aim not only to achieve financial gains but also to fulfill social missions, such as poverty alleviation, equitable welfare distribution, and holistic improvement of the community’s quality of life. Various products and services offered—such as Sharia savings, halal financing, and Sharia-compliant investments—provide financial solutions that align with Islamic values and meet societal needs. Nevertheless, the implementation of Sharia cooperatives faces several challenges, including limited public understanding, competition with conventional financial institutions, and constraints in human resources and capital. Through public education, capacity building for cooperative managers, and comprehensive government policy support, Sharia cooperatives hold great potential to become a key instrument in fostering a more just, equitable, and sustainable economy. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating Sharia values into cooperative management to ensure its contribution to the sustained welfare of the community.

The birth of various Islamic financial institutions (LKS) shows that Islamic teachings cover the economic scope, including cooperatives in the form of Islamic finance These Islamic teachings must absolutely be obeyed and guided by all Muslims in making daily life activities, including in transaction and investment activities, Mashlahah refers to all forms of benefits or goodness that can bring prosperity to individuals and society in general.  without ignoring sharia values. For manufacturers of mashlahah formulations, it is an important challenge in carrying out production activities that not only pursue material profits, but also contribute to economic sustainability, social justice, and environmental preservation Qualitative descriptive research is aimed at describing and describing existing phenomena, both natural and man-made, that pay more attention to the characteristics, quality, and linkages between activities. In addition, descriptive research does not provide treatment, manipulation or alteration to the variables studied, but rather describes a condition as it is. The only treatment given is the research itself, which is carried out through observation, interviews from competent sources in their fields The imbalance between profits and benefits is one of the fundamental issues in the formulation of mashlahah for producers who are faced with pressure to maximize profits in a short time, which sometimes has the potential to sacrifice the principles of benefits caused by several factors, such as adopting strategies that are oriented towards short-term profits to meet financial targets or pressure from shareholders. As a result, the benefits are often overlooked. The imbalance between profits and benefits is an important problem for sharia-based cooperatives that lack understanding of the principles of mashlahah in Islamic business, such as avoiding riba and using a clear profit-sharing system on every transaction

The term cooperative is certainly familiar to us. If referring to Law No. 17 of 2012 article 1, a cooperative is defined as a legal entity established by an individual or a cooperative legal entity, with the separation of the wealth of its members as capital to run a business, which meets common aspirations and needs. In its implementation, cooperatives not only have goals, principles or principles, but also a foundation. As a unique business entity, cooperatives are different from other business entities. In this case, it can be seen from its membership, where cooperative members are known to have dual identities. Dual identity here means that cooperative members are owners and also users of cooperative services. Indonesian cooperatives are the identity of Indonesian business entities that are established on various foundations. The foundation of this cooperative includes ideal, constitutional, mental and operational foundations.

This study conducts a pragmatic analysis of the dialogue between characters in Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea," utilizing Grice's Cooperative Principle as a theoretical framework. By examining the interactions between Santiago and Manolin, the research highlights how conversational maxims: Quality, Quantity, Relation, and Manner shape their communication. The analysis reveals that while both characters generally adhere to these principles, occasional deviations occur, reflecting their emotional connections and the complexities of their relationship. This investigation not only enhances understanding of the characters' dynamics but also underscores the broader implications of pragmatic theory in literary dialogue. Ultimately, the findings demonstrate that effective communication transcends mere information exchange, emphasizing the importance of fostering relationships and emotional understanding in human interactions.

Curriculum management is a systematic, cooperative, comprehensive and organized effort in achieving educational goals. As an important element in the management of educational institutions, curriculum management involves curriculum planning, development, implementation and evaluation. This process aims to improve the quality of teaching-learning interactions and support the achievement of the vision and mission of educational institutions while adhering to national policies. The relationship between curriculum and learning is very close, where the curriculum becomes a guideline that covers the entire learning experience of students, while learning is the implementation of the curriculum. In the context of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP), curriculum development is carried out with the principles of competency-centeredness, relevance to the needs of learners, responsiveness to scientific developments, and a balance between national interests and local needs. These principles are directed to ensure the meaningfulness of the content, productivity, democracy, efficiency, and harmony with moral, religious, and social values. With effective curriculum management, educational institutions can create an optimal learning process to achieve educational goals.

In practice, the Cooperative Education Unit (SPK) does not provide the same space for every Indonesian citizen to get a quality education. SPK has becomea practice of educational capitalism that further widens the gap between one person and another  and  eliminates  the  principle  of  justice  where everyone has the right to equal opportunities for education. The  method  used  in  this  study  is  normative  legal  research that uses three approaches, namely the legislative approach, the case approach, andthe conceptual approach. With the analysis using the perspective of critical law and the theory of  Justice  John  Rawls.  The  result  of  this  study  is  a  policy recommendation  so  that  the  Cooperative  Education  Unit (SPK) school policy as a product of government policy in the education area contained in Permendikbud No. 31 of 2024 should be reviewed, corrected and returned to be a policy in accordance with national education goals. In order to be in line with the constitutional mandate to educate the life of the nation and to provide space or access to every citizen to get his or her constitutional right to education.

A cooperative is a business entity based on the principle of kinship. Cooperatives have the aim of improving the welfare of their members through the activities they carry out. The Binjai City Cooperatives and UMKM Service is a regional apparatus within the Binjai City Government for government affairs in the field of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises. The Binjai City Cooperatives and UMKM Department always carries out assessments of every cooperative in the city of Binjai in the form of an assessment of the best cooperatives which aims to increase the motivation of cooperative institutions and as an evaluation material for the performance of cooperatives recorded in the City of Binjai. In carrying out the assessment of the best cooperatives carried out by the Binjai City Cooperatives and UMKM Service, it took quite a long time. This is because the data collection and processing process is conventional and simple. To overcome existing problems, a decision support system was created to facilitate the management and calculations of each cooperative. In this research, the method used in the calculation process is WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment). The Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method is a method that is able to minimize errors or maximize the assessment to determine the highest and lowest values. The final result of this research is a decision support system that is able to produce decision recommendations in determining the best cooperative at the Binjai City Cooperative and UMKM Department.

This general sharia savings product is a deposit which in principle is a pure savings from the party who keeps it or entrusts it to the party who receives the deposit for use or not in accordance with the contract used. Sharia general savings itself has a mechanism where the mechanism is an important thing for banking. Knowing the financing mechanism will attract people's interest in saving or making loans to the cooperative. If the BMT mechanism is well organized it will also increase public trust in carry out transactions in the cooperative. The interesting thing about why researchers want to examine the general sharia savings financing mechanism is because when conducting observations and interviews the researchers found a positive response from members who saved. The focus of this research is how the general sharia savings mechanism at BMT Maslahah Capem Gending is used so that members can understand the mechanism to determine member responses and member growth in saving. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach by conducting observations, interviews with the head of the BMT Maslahah Capem Gending branch and members, supported by several journals related to general sharia savings. The results of research at BMT Maslahah Capem Gending regarding the sharia general savings financing mechanism have been running well and efficiently so that the growth of savings members increases from year to year.

This study aims to analyze the application of the maxim of relevance in the film "Calon Lurah" by Hajar Pamuji using a pragmatic approach and descriptive qualitative methods. The focus of this research is on the dialogues between the characters in the film, which demonstrate adherence to the cooperative principle and the maxim of relevance, where each speaker's contribution is relevant to the topic or context of the conversation. Three main types of utterances were found in this study: assertive, directive, and expressive utterances. Assertive utterances express something that the speaker believes to be a fact, while directive utterances aim to get the listener to do something, and expressive utterances convey the speaker's feelings or emotions. Primary data for this study was taken from transcribed dialogues in the film, while secondary data came from various sources such as books, journals, theses, and related research. Data collection techniques included observing and noting. The results showed that the film "Calon Lurah" effectively applies the maxim of relevance in the dialogues between its characters, making the conversations relevant and supporting the cooperative principle in communication. This research highlights the importance of relevance in communication to ensure effective and efficient conversations and underscores the practical application of this concept in various communication contexts.
