According to the WHO (World Health Organization), every day in 2017 around 810 women died, at the end of the year reaching 295,000 people, of which 94% were in developing countries (WHO, 2019). The MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) which ended in 2015, were then continued with the development of the SDGs (Sustainability Development Goals) until 2030. The five biggest causes of maternal death in Indonesia in 2010-2016 were bleeding (30.3%), hypertension in pregnancy ( 27.1%), infection (7.3%), prolonged labor (1.8%), abortion (1.6%) and others (31.9%). This study aims to identify the relationship between HB levels and postpartum hemorrhage at the Djasamen Saragih Regional General Hospital in 2023.Type of quantitative research with a case control design. This study was conducted on a sample of 100 postpartum. To measure the characteristics of the respondents, a data collection form was used which was obtained through collecting data from the evaluation section at the Djasamen Saragih Regional General Hospital in 2023.Based on the statistical test using chi-square, the value of ρ = 0.001 (ρ <α, α = 0.05) is obtained, the strength of the relationship between the two variables is seen based on the contingency coefficient, which is 0.302, which means the strength of the relationship is moderate. Then the odds ratio (OR) results obtained OR = 0.215 [95% CI 0.087 – 0.532] which means that the range 0.087 – 0.532 does not exceed the value of 1, so postpartum mothers with low Hb levels during pregnancy have a greater chance of postpartum hemorrhage 0.215 than mothers postpartum Hb was normal during her pregnancy. There is a relationship between Hb levels and postpartum hemorrhage at the Djasamen Saragih Regional General Hospital in 2023

Abortion is a complex issue involving moral, legal and health considerations. Legal exceptions to abortion are a key focus in unraveling the dynamics of this complexity. Legal views and norms regarding abortion have undergone significant changes, reflecting social changes and understandings of women's reproductive rights. This study aims to analyze the regulations and legal views that define legal exceptions to abortion in Indonesia and how they relate to mitigating women's health risks. The research method involved a literature review and juridical analysis. The results show that the Health Law and Criminal Code provide exceptions for abortion under certain medical conditions, but the 40-day maximum time limit has been criticized. The role of certified health workers and constantly updated regulations play an important role. Implementation of legal exceptions remains challenging, especially in remote areas. In responding to this debate, regulations need to consider the humanitarian and psychological aspects of rape victims.

Abortion can endanger the mother's health because it can cause bleeding, uterine perforation, infection and shock. Bleeding occurs due to not yet releasing all the products of conception from the endometrial wall, so that the blood vessels are always open to empty the uterus of the remaining products of conception. The next consequence of abortion is perforation, perforation occurs when scraping/curettage, if this happens it is necessary to carry out a laparotomy according to the extent of the perforation. Infection can occur due to the accumulation of dead and rotting products of conception in the body, causing infection, shock, can occur in cases of abortion due to severe infection or profuse bleeding. The incidence of abortion in Indonesia in 2012 was 4%. The aim is to determine the relationship between gestational age and distance with the incidence of abortion in 2023. termination of the pregnancy process before the gestational age is less than 28 weeks (Manuaba, 2010). Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy through any means, spontaneous or artificial, before the fetus is able to survive with limitations based on gestational age and body weight. Pregnancy is a period when pregnant women experience physiological and psychological changes. Physical changes that occur during pregnancy can cause complaints or discomfort during pregnancy, which include physical discomfort during pregnancy including back pain, low back pain, difficulty sleeping at night/insomnia, and leg cramps. Meanwhile, psychological discomfort that can occur in pregnant women is anxiety and fear of facing the birth process. Anxiety is one of the psychological changes in the third trimester because it is getting closer to the birth process. Resulting in excessive anxiety during pregnancy can trigger abortion, premature birth, low birth weight, fetal defects, fetal growth retardation, and postpartum depression. Three out of five third trimester pregnant women who were encountered experienced anxiety approaching labor, namely sleep disturbances. Practicing yoga during pregnancy is a useful solution as a self-help medium that will reduce discomfort during pregnancy and help with the birthing process. When pregnancy enters the third trimester, the mother will experience increasingly serious and intense anxiety in dealing with the birth process.

Contraception is preventing the fertilization of an egg by a sperm cell (conception) or preventing the fertilized egg from attaching to the uterine wall. There are various methods of using contraception, one of which is using hormonal contraceptive methods, namely injection/injection contraception. Injection contraception is an injectable contraceptive. which is injected into the body over a certain period of time, then enters the blood vessels, and is absorbed little by little by the body to prevent pregnancy. The injectable contraceptives used are norethisterone enanthate, depo medroxy progesterone acetate (DMPA), and cyclofem. One of the modern contraceptives used DMPA is often used containing depo medroxy progesterone acetate as much as 150 mg with an efficacy of up to 3 months. This drug was tried in 1958 to treat habitual abortion and endometriosis, and it turns out that in the treatment of habitual abortion, infertility often occurs after the pregnancy ends. Depo-Provera as a contraceptive drug turns out to be quite effective and safe in family planning services. The assumption that Depo-Provera can cause cancer of the cervix or breasts in women who use it has not been clearly proven. Planned contraception is an attempt to space or plan the number and distance pregnancy by using contraception (BKKBN.2012).

Pregnancy can be good or bad depending on the condition of the mother. Some mothers who do not want their babies choose to have illegal abortions. This has led to the proliferation of illegal abortion clinics that perform abortions not in accordance with the law.  Although the law provides for some justifiable cases of abortion, there is debate about the consequences of punishing abortionists. Judges' verdicts in abortion cases often do not fulfil the purpose of punishment to provide a deterrent and corrective effect. The purpose of this research is to analyse the Case Study of Central Jakarta District Court Decision Number 1140/pid.sus/2020/Pn Jkt Pst on the act of carrying out illegal abortion in accordance with Article 75 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning health in relation to the purpose of punishment. This research method is a normative juridical approach. The research specifications used are descriptive analysis. The result of this research is that the Panel of Judges in this case can be considered lacking in considering the mitigating or aggravating circumstances of the defendant when compared to other cases. Consideration of judges who are less mature can lead to unclear objectives of punishment in cases of abortion. The clarity of the human rights of a foetus is questionable in this abortion case. More research and careful consideration by judges is needed to ensure fair and balanced sentencing in abortion cases.

The family planning program is an effort to increase public awareness and participation through maturation of marriage age, birth control, fostering family resilience, and improving family welfare in order to realize a small, happy and prosperous family. IUD (Intra Uterine Device) is a plastic contraceptive that has a shape like the letter "T" and is installed in the uterus to prevent pregnancy Implant is a hormonal contraceptive method that is effective, not permanent and can prevent pregnancy between three and five years. This contraceptive is in the form of an empty silastic (silicone rubber) capsule filled with hormones and the ends of the capsule are sealed with silastic adhesive. Contraceptives are important for improving the quality of life of women and their families. They not only prevent unwanted pregnancies, but also reduce the number of abortions. And contraceptive use can help manage family income by spacing pregnancies and paving the way for women to work. Contraceptives have also been shown to lower maternal and infant mortality rates by spacing births and determining the number of children to be born. The use of long-acting contraceptives such as IUDs, implants, vasectomies, and tubectomies should be more widely promoted. The use of long-term contraceptives is the main need to reduce the rate of population increase.
