Import substitution industrialization (ISI) is one of the industrial development strategies that has been implemented by many developing countries, including Indonesia. This strategy aims to reduce dependence on imported consumer and capital goods, as well as create jobs and increase domestic value added. In the early stages of its implementation, ISI has successfully driven industrial growth in Indonesia. However, along with technological development and global competition, ISI faces various challenges, one of which is competition from industries in other countries. Industrial competition is one of the important factors that affects industrial development. Healthy competition can encourage industries to innovate and improve efficiency, making them more competitive in the global market. This paper discusses the relationship between ISI and industrial competition in industrial development. This paper also discusses various policies that can be implemented to improve the competitiveness of Indonesian industries.

One of the technological developments in the economic sector that has had a big influence is Fintech, which is an innovation in the field of technology in terms of transactions for giving and receiving loans, without having to meet face to face, or what is better known as online loans. The legal provisions governing conventional agreements are the same as the legal provisions governing online agreements. Due to the negative impact of illegal online loans, it is necessary for the Community Service Team (PkM) of the Faculty of Law, University of Semarang (USM) to hold outreach and counseling with the theme "Increasing Understanding of the Trimulyo Genuk Semarang Community Regarding the Legal Aspects of Online Loan Agreements". This activity uses 5 (five) methods, namely, pre-test, counseling, question and answer, post-test and evaluation methods. The results of this activity showed an increase in public understanding by 69.2%.

This research aims to find out and analyze the provision of incentives to improve employee performance in service companies operating in the field of psychology. This research is included in qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained from observations and interviews. Data analysis uses data transcription, source triangulation, and data reduction. The research results show that providing incentives to employees has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of providing incentives is increasing motivation, performance and increasing employee enthusiasm. Providing incentives also has negative impacts, including unfairness in providing incentives and decreasing employee work ethic.

Students' ethical perceptions are very important in the ethical content of accounting education. Ethics plays a key role in shaping the character and professional behavior of accounting students which will then have a positive impact on accounting practices in the world of work. This understanding aims to find out how ethics in accounting education influences students' ethical perceptions. This research uses a quantitative method with the ethical content variable in accounting education as the variable (X) and students' ethical perceptions as the variable (Y). The results of this research show that the ethical content in accounting education has a significant influence on students' ethical perceptions.    

Hypertension is a serious public health problem, with a significant contribution to global mortality and disability rates. This disease is predicted to continue to increase in the next few years. The aim of this study was to increase the understanding about hypertension and its prevention. The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is important in mapping and treating this disease. Through community service activities in Bandarharjo Village, knowledge about hypertension and prevention efforts can be increased. Discussion method as well as leaflet distribution have proven effective in increasing public understanding about hypertension. Evaluation of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge, confirming the importance of this approach in public health education. It is hoped that this activity can have a positive impact in the long term by increasing awareness and preventive measures for hypertension in the community.

The history and development of waqf in Islam is a reflection of the deep social, humanitarian and religious values in Islamic teachings. Over the course of its history, waqf has become one of the main pillars of Islamic civilization, making a significant contribution to the development of education, health, culture and social services throughout the Muslim world. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach based on data sources from literature studies and observations. The aim of this research is to provide information regarding the history and development of waqf. The results of the research explain that waqf already existed during the time of the Prophet and then during the time of Khulafaur Rasyidin, the Islamic Dynasties. As well as the development of the waqf era in various countries.

This research aims to determine the improvement of the logistics ecosystem both from exports and imports at Pelindo Multi Terminal Belawan. Where Pelindo Belawan is the largest port in North Sumatra, however, due to the improvement in the logistics ecosystem, many goods have to transit before arriving at the Belawan Port dock. Apart from that, it can carry out port activities appropriately and maximize aspects of office effectiveness in order to create work comfort and optimal performance for its employees. If employees and service users who work feel comfortable and satisfied then their performance at Pelindo Multi Terminal Belawan will also be good. This study uses a qualitative method.

This research discusses the handling of problematic funding at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sibuhuan. Based on observations in the field, many consumer financing problems, especially for certain products, arise due to various factors. The aim of this research is to find out the strategies used by Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sibuhuan in handling problematic financing for consumer products, as well as the factors that cause these problems and the steps that must be taken if these problems arise. Again. The research was conducted using a qualitative methodology, and the findings show that Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sibuhuan's approach to overcoming problematic financing in consumer financing products is to develop the company's human resources (HR), providing advice to clients via telephone and face-to-face conversations. visits, and perfecting the company website, all that remains is for the client to submit a Warning Letter (SP), chat with the client, develop a financing restructuring strategy, and finally implement the final handling strategy by selling the client's assets or collateral. Financial problems at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sibuhuan are not caused by internal bank problems, but external factors such as customer lifestyle, layoffs, requests for other financing, unreliable customers, and work at bad companies. If an opportunity arises, problematic consumer goods are being refinanced at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sibuhuan. This is done by assessing the money given, talking to all financial units, and avoiding problems with previous financing.

PT Pos Indonesia is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which operates in the delivery services sector. One of the services businesses offer is sending letters and packages. Companies with this delivery service will really need a marketing strategy to attract customers who operate in the business world which aims to satisfy consumers and increase sales volume. The data collection method in preparing the Final Assignment is the method of observation, interviews and documentation studies with the analysis method in the form of qualitative analysis, namely a data analysis method without using statistical analysis. The first thing to do in a marketing strategy is to look at market needs first. Then determine the market segment to be targeted, namely the business market segment. By determining the business market segment, determining the target market determines the strategy for selecting the company. By choosing a target that suits the business market segment, the market position will automatically become the label for the business product itself in society. The marketing mix in a marketing strategy will automatically follow the flow of segmentation, targeting and positioning, this is because the product, place, price and promotion are determined according to the business market segment.

This research aims to determine the implementation of dock management at PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal Belawan where the dock must be managed well, so that output results are maximum. If each pier were managed by one operation, this is not the case currently, where two docks are managed by one operation, which results in negligence and lack of focus on one job, which results in many ships not reaching their loading and unloading targets as planned. Which is detrimental to the next ship that is queuing for the next loading and unloading. Further steps to achieve this goal include improving operational results, optimizing infrastructure and upgrading IT systems. Sub-Holding Purpose Multi Terminal offices can provide additional management by utilizing all office functions honestly, which will help workers maximize their work day and enjoy their position more. In this study, the complexity of motivational factors is closely related to the context of organizational culture, team dynamics, and perceptions of rewards and recognition of individual contributions. Participation in decision-making, opportunities for career development, and interpersonal relationships at work also emerged as important elements in motivating employees. The qualitative analysis highlighted that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to understanding work motivation in this environment. However, the need for recognition of achievement, a sense of involvement in the work process, and support from superiors and coworkers have a significant impact on individuals' motivation levels. This study provides an in-depth understanding of what influences work motivation at the Office of Industry and Trade of North Sumatra Province. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a sensitive approach to individual needs and preferences in designing effective motivation strategies to improve productivity.

PTPN IV Medan Company is a company operating in the plantation sector in Medan, Indonesia. As a company operating in the business sector, PTPN IV Medan also has a retail business division which is an important part of its operational activities. This research is the result of qualitative research by raising the problem of how to apply Islamic economic principles in the PTPN IV Medan company. This type of research method is qualitative research using a descriptive approach and library research. As for the data sources in this research, the primary data is interviews with related parties, namely employees who work at the PTPN IV Medan company, while the secondary data is data obtained through reports regarding the PTPN IV Medan Company. In this context, it is important to evaluate the extent to which this company applies Islamic economic principles in its retail business. This analysis can also provide insight into the effectiveness and success of implementing Islamic economic principles in the company's retail business.

Industry concentration is centered on the number and size distribution of companies. In this case it can be said that the fewer the number of companies in the market, the level of industry concentration tends to be linked to the ability of sellers (producers) in the market. This can be a form of suppressing competition and coordinating price policies which tend to be high.

This research aims to develop a web-based palm oil sales application at the Medan Palm Oil Research Center. The research method used is a qualitative method, a case study carried out by researchers at the Palm Oil Research Center on Jl. Brigjend Katamso No. 51, kp. Baru, Medan. Researchers collect data through observations and interviews, then the data is processed and analyzed so as to obtain temporary assumptions to draw conclusions from the results of these observations. The research results show that the website, called my palm oil, can increase the effectiveness of palm oil sales, especially in marketing palm oil sprouts, fertilizers, pesticides and other superior products. However, there are several shortcomings that need to be corrected, such as limited features and lack of cooperation with expeditions and users cannot access the application freely like general buying and selling applications. Overall, My Sawit is a useful tool for those in the agricultural industry who are looking for an easy way to shop for palm oil seeds and other related products. The development of the My Sawit application is expected to help increase the efficiency and effectiveness of sales of palm oil seeds and related products, as well as expanding PPKS market reach.  

This article discusses the development of sharia banking in Indonesia, with a focus on the financial performance of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia. After experiencing the financial crisis in 1998 and the global crisis in 2008, Islamic banks continued to exist and showed resilience to the impact of the crisis. In 2015, the government plans to merge three state-owned sharia banks to increase efficiency and encourage sharia economic growth. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the financial performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia based on profitability, liquidity and solvency ratios. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data analysis from Bank Syariah Indonesia's financial reports for the 2021-2022 period. The research results show good financial performance, with profitability, liquidity and solvency ratios entering the good to very good category. This article contributes to understanding the contribution of Islamic banks to the national economy through financial performance evaluation.

This research is motivated by widespread business networks in the business world and raises fierce business competition. To respond to this, the author conducted a business network research conducted by MSMEs Yoi Milk. The objectives that must be achieved in this study include: (1)  to find out what the founders of Yoi Milk did to build their business network. (2) to find out how marketing is done by Yoi Milk. (3) to find out how the financial management is carried out by Yoi Milk in order to get profits in accordance with what the business wants. This research was conducted directly by the founder of Yoi Milk. This research seeks business networks carried out by Yoi Milk business entrepreneurs to decide on product development starting from marketing carried out to products marketed to consumers. This research uses qualitative methods, one of which is interviewing Yoi Milk business actors about marketing, sales, and financial management carried out for profit.

Rantau Rasau Village, which is one of the villages in Berbak sub-district, Tanjung Jabung Timur district. To get to Rantau Rasau village we have to use river transportation services in the form of ketek (a type of large boat equipped with a robbins engine), this water transportation. It is the only access to Rantau Rasau village because there is no land road to the village. This thesis aims to determine the role of air transportation in the economy of the people of Rantau Rasau village, East Tanjung Jabung district, to find out what obstacles exist in the use of this transportation.This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods, data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the role of air transportation in the economy of the Rantau Rasau village community, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, includes mobility for people in and out of the village and also as a bridge for all economic activities of the Rantau Rasau village community. The minimum wage is very effective as a tool to reduce income inequality. Apart from limiting the minimum wage in general, this policy also has an effect on increasing income and plays an important role in overcoming income gaps. Apart from the minimum wage, micro-spending also influences income inequality. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of minimum wages and micro expenditure on regional income in Indonesia. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The data used is secondary data for 1 period, namely 2022, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The variables used are Regional Income (Y), Minimum Wage (X1), Micro Expenditures (X2). The classic assumption test uses the SPSS for Windows version 25 program. The estimation results show that the provincial Minimum wages affect poverty in Indonesia, education affects poverty in Indonesia, and health affects poverty in Indonesia. Local minimum wages, education, and health influence poverty in Indonesia.

This article discusses the role of zakat in alleviating poverty. Where zakat is something that is obligatory for the Muslim community. In the Qur'an it is explained that zakat is a responsibility for the Muslim community to help each other. So it can be interpreted that zakat is a moral element. social, educational and economic. In terms of morals, zakat wards off the greed and stinginess of some Muslims who have a sufficient economy. In education, the obligation to give zakat can be taken from the feeling of wanting to give, donate and also give up some of the assets we own as a sign of our love for others. In social matters, namely zakat, the poor can play a role in their lives, carrying out their obligations to Allah SWT, helping with zakat and sadaqah that have been given from people who are capable. As is the case with zakat, underprivileged people feel like they are part of society, or not even outcasts and are looked down upon. In economic terms, zakat can play a role in preventing the accumulation of wealth in the hands of just one person, and also requires rich people to redistribute the wealth they have to rich and poor family groups. So, zakat functions as a potential source of funds in terms of alleviating poverty. Zakat can also be working capital for poor people to open up employment opportunities, so that this group can earn income and also be able to meet their daily living needs. Taken from the feeling of wanting to give, donate, and also give up some of one's wealth as a sign of compassion for fellow humans. Developing countries tend to experience inflation, countries with inflation rates of less than 3% are still achieving normal standards, while countries with high and unstable inflation experience economic instability. increase in prospects. A general and continuous decline in the price level of goods and services in a country leads to higher levels of poverty and unemployment. This study uses quantitative methods using time series data collected between 2016 and 2020 and statistical calculations using SPSS. The results showed that the inflation rate was 3.532> t table 2.306 and the significance level was 0.039 < . 0.05, which means that inflation affects Indonesia's economic growth / Growth Domestic Product (GDP).
