This study presents a machine learning approach for predicting the dimensions of microstrip antenna slots based on antenna performance parameters such as frequency, gain, directivity, return loss (S11), radiation efficiency, and VSWR. A two-phase methodology was employed. In the first phase, ten regression algorithms were evaluated, and Random Forest was identified as the most effective model based on Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and R-squared (R²) scores. In the second phase, hyperparameter tuning was conducted using Grid Search to further improve the model’s performance. The optimized Random Forest model demonstrated consistent improvements in predictive accuracy, with R² values increasing across all output variables. These results indicate that the combination of regression-based modeling and systematic hyperparameter tuning is effective for capturing complex relationships in antenna design tasks. The proposed approach offers a promising data-driven alternative for geometric prediction in microstrip antenna development, particularly when analytical models are insufficient.

In the accounting discipline, the choice of data collection method is crucial because it directly impacts the validity and reliability of research results. This study aims to compare data collection methods used in qualitative and quantitative approaches and examine their relevance in the context of contemporary accounting studies. Qualitative approaches emphasize in-depth exploration of accounting phenomena, particularly those related to human behavior, perception, and decision-making processes. Common techniques used in this approach include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and case studies, which enable researchers to understand the social and organizational context behind accounting practices. In contrast, quantitative approaches prioritize collecting numerical data that can be analyzed statistically. These methods typically use instruments such as questionnaires, surveys, and experiments to objectively test pre-formulated hypotheses. Results from quantitative approaches often provide broader generalizations, but can lose the nuances of social context gained from qualitative approaches. A comparison of these two methods reveals that each has its own advantages and limitations. Qualitative approaches excel in understanding processes and meanings, while quantitative approaches are strong in producing generalizable data. Therefore, in practice, accounting researchers often adopt a mixed methods approach to gain a more comprehensive understanding. This study concludes that a thorough understanding of the characteristics of both approaches is crucial for researchers to select appropriate data collection strategies. Thus, research can make a significant contribution to the development of accounting theory and practice in a more comprehensive and meaningful way.

In the digital era, Christians face significant challenges in maintaining an authentic spirituality amidst a continuous stream of information and the influence of popular culture that often contradicts biblical values. The command in Romans 12:2 to "not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" remains highly relevant, yet its practical application in contemporary Christian life is frequently overlooked. This study aims to explore the theological depth of Romans 12:2, identify the dominant patterns of worldly thought in the digital age, and develop a contextual and applicable framework for transformative Christian spirituality. Utilizing a qualitative method with a library research approach, data were gathered from theological works, biblical commentaries, and scholarly literature on spirituality, culture, and digital engagement. The study reveals that the renewal of the mind refers not only to a personal inner change but to a reorientation of worldview through the power of the Holy Spirit. This transformation involves resisting cultural tendencies such as self-image obsession on social media, intellectual complacency caused by technological convenience, and the rise of individualistic spirituality detached from community life. To address these challenges, the study proposes several implementation strategies: fostering deeper biblical literacy contextualized to current issues, cultivating critical thinking as a form of spiritual discipline, and nurturing accountability within faith communities. These elements form a holistic framework of contemporary Christian spirituality that is Christ-centered, critically aware, and outward-focused in mission. The implications of this framework suggest that Christian spirituality in the digital era must engage both heart and mind, remain rooted in Scripture, and be lived out in communal and missional contexts.

Mindfulness or mindfulness is increasingly promoted in Western countries as a psychological strategy to improve emotional regulation and self-control, including in the context of reducing aggressive behavior, especially when individuals experience a state of exhaustion or ego depletion. However, the effectiveness of this approach in the context of non-Western cultures has not been widely explored. This study aims to replicate the study of Yusainy and Lawrence (2015) in Indonesia to test whether the induction of mindfulness can also moderate aggression after ego depletion in different cultural environments. This experimental research involved 119 Indonesian students as participants. Using a laboratory design, participants were divided into conditions of induction of mindfulness and control, and were asked to complete a reaction time competition task that had been modified to measure aggression (through the intensity of the sound explosions released against a fictitious opponent). In addition, an additional measure of the frequency of delayed maximum burst release was used to evaluate more subtle forms of aggression, particularly in female participants. The results showed that mindfulness significantly moderated the relationship between ego-depletion and aggression conditions, especially in low- to moderate-provoking situations. Mindfulness induction also showed improved self-control performance after participants completed aggression tasks. Another important finding is that the positive effect of mindfulness on aggression reduction is most visible in more subtle indicators of aggression, especially in groups of women who experience ego thinning. In conclusion, the results of this study reinforce the cross-cultural validity of the Western mindfulness approach and emphasize the importance of using more sensitive aggression measures, especially in assessing the effects of psychological interventions on female populations in non-Western cultures such as Indonesia.

This study explores the key determinants of field engineer efficiency in the field service industry by analyzing the impact of self-efficacy, resource management, and time management on operational performance. Employing a quantitative research approach, data were collected using saturated sampling from 102 field engineers and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The measurement model showed robust psychometric properties, satisfying the thresholds for convergent validity, discriminant validity, and internal consistency reliability. The structural model results indicate that all three independent variables significantly influence field engineer efficiency. Self-efficacy was found to have the strongest effect (β = 0.421, p < 0.001), followed by resource management (β = 0.347, p < 0.001) and time management (β = 0.289, p < 0.001). The model accounts for 68.7% of the variance in field engineer efficiency, reflecting strong explanatory power and predictive accuracy. Among these variables, self-efficacy emerged as the most dominant factor, suggesting that field engineers' belief in their ability to perform tasks is a critical driver of operational success. High self-efficacy enhances motivation, resilience, and effective problem-solving under pressure, making it essential in dynamic and unpredictable field environments. Resource and time management also play crucial roles in supporting engineers' ability to complete tasks efficiently by ensuring optimal allocation of tools, equipment, and time. The findings provide practical implications for field service organizations aiming to improve workforce performance. Investing in training programs that strengthen self-efficacy, combined with systematic improvements in resource and time management practices, can significantly enhance operational outcomes. By prioritizing these factors, organizations can boost engineer efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service delivery, ultimately gaining a stronger competitive advantage in the industry.

Anxiety often arises during pregnancy due to both physical and psychological changes that can negatively impact the health of both the mother and the fetus. These changes may include hormonal fluctuations, fear of labor, and concerns about the baby’s wellbeing. In Indonesia, approximately 28.7% of 373,000 pregnant women in their third trimester experience anxiety as they approach labor. If left untreated, anxiety during pregnancy can lead to complications such as prolonged labor, low birth weight, and postpartum depression. Therefore, early and appropriate intervention is crucial. This study aims to describe the application of Islamic mindfulness meditation therapy as a non-pharmacological intervention to reduce anxiety in pregnant women at Puskesmas Purbaratu, Tasikmalaya. Anxiety is a condition in which an individual feels uneasy, worried, or uncomfortable. Islamic mindfulness meditation therapy is a relaxation technique that integrates spiritual practices with mental focus through meditation, allowing the soul and mind to be calm, centered, and connected with God. It includes dhikr (remembrance of Allah), controlled breathing, and contemplation of positive thoughts. The method used in this study is a case study involving two primigravida pregnant clients experiencing moderate anxiety. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and measurements using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The results indicate that Islamic mindfulness meditation therapy significantly reduced anxiety levels from moderate to mild after five consecutive days of implementation. This was achieved through a combination of breathing exercises, spiritual reflection, and relaxation. This study concludes that Islamic mindfulness meditation can be an effective, affordable, and spiritually enriching alternative therapy to reduce anxiety in pregnant women, especially during the vulnerable third trimester. The coffee farming sector in Gunungmanik Village, Indonesia, plays a significant role in the local economy. However, the monitoring and management of coffee crops remain largely manual and conventional, making it difficult for farmers to respond quickly to environmental threats such as drought, pests, or sudden temperature shifts. This research presents the development of iotgm.id, a web-based monitoring system integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) devices designed to provide real-time environmental data for coffee plantations. The system measures key parameters including temperature, soil moisture, and motion detection (as a proxy for pest activity), and delivers this data via a user-friendly web interface. It also features digital farm record management, real-time alerts for abnormal conditions, and data visualization through interactive dashboards. Field testing with local farmers showed that the system improves decision-making, speeds up responses to environmental changes, and reduces the need for direct field visits. Unlike earlier systems that often required technical expertise or focused on single parameters, this system offers multi-parameter monitoring and is accessible to farmers without advanced digital literacy. The system bridges the gap between sophisticated agricultural technologies and practical field-level application. It contributes to the adoption of precision agriculture in rural areas, offering a scalable model for broader implementation in similar contexts

Violence in the elementary school environment has a significant impact on the psychological, social, and academic development of students. This study aims to describe the perceptions of Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) teachers and classroom teachers regarding the role of physical education in preventing violence in elementary schools. A combination of descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods was applied, with a sample of 6 teachers (3 physical education teachers and 3 class teachers) from SDN Liunggunung, Tasikmalaya. The participants were selected using proportional stratified random sampling to ensure representativeness. Data collection techniques included a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire, which was validated through expert judgment and tested for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha (≥ 0.70), along with in-depth interviews to gain richer insights. The results revealed a consensus among both groups of teachers that physical education has a positive and strategic role in preventing violence. This is achieved through the internalization of core character values such as sportsmanship, cooperation, empathy, and discipline. Additionally, physical education serves as a medium to channel students’ physical energy into constructive activities and foster emotional regulation. Structured physical activities—such as team-based games, rhythmic gymnastics, and cooperative challenges—can reduce tendencies toward aggressive behavior and promote social interaction, inclusion, and mutual respect. However, the study also found significant challenges, including inadequate sports infrastructure, limited time allocation within the school curriculum, and the need for professional development among teachers. The conclusion emphasizes that physical education is a vital component in building a safe, inclusive, and character-driven school climate, but its success depends on consistent institutional support and ongoing teacher empowerment.
