The Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) is a rehabilitative mechanism, but it is susceptible to bad faith abuse. This case study examines Homologation Decision No. 62/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN Niaga Sby, where judges ratified a composition plan creating a "Previous Trade Creditors" category. This clause, targeting unregistered creditors, effectively resulted in a 95% debt write-off, injuring the Principle of Justice. This research aims to analyze the judges' legal considerations in ratifying this clause and examines their failure to apply material judicial obligations regarding the debtor's bad faith. This research utilizes a normative juridical method with a statute and case study approach. The analysis is qualitative, examining the decision and relevant legislation, supplemented by an interview with a practicing Commercial Court judge. The primary finding is that the judges' considerations were overly positivistic, focusing only on the formal voting quorum (Article 281, UU KPKPU). They failed to execute their imperative duty under Article 285(2)(c) to reject a plan achieved via "dishonest means". The 95% write-off is prima facie bad faith and is punitive, not rehabilitative. The judges misinterpreted the Publicity Principle; non-registration should only cause the loss of voting rights (procedural), not the loss of claim rights (substantive). This failure of material judicial review legitimized the abuse of the PKPU institution.

This research analyzes the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3/OSH) in the automation project of the Vacuum Pan machine at a sugar factory in Indonesia. The Vacuum Pan machine automation project poses high potential hazards due to its involvement with electrical systems, high-pressure pipes, and the installation of electrical and automatic control systems. The research methods used were daily direct observation in the field and interviews with the factory's safety (EHS) personnel, project workers, and interns for one month, from July 7 to August 8, 2025. The results show that K3 planning, such as the availability of HIRADC documents, SOPs, Safety Plans, and K3 facilities (APAR, evacuation routes, safety signs), has been well-implemented and adheres to applicable standards. K3 supervision activities include Safety Inspection (routine twice a week), Safety Patrol (daily and spontaneous), and Safety Talk or Toolbox Meeting (routine every Wednesday). However, the aspect requiring improvement is worker discipline, particularly in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which were recorded at compliance frequencies of 65% and 60%, respectively. Workers' response to hazardous situations was also found to be less responsive (50%). In conclusion, while K3 planning and facilities are adequate, the overall K3 implementation needs to be optimized through increased supervision and the establishment of a disciplined culture regarding PPE and SOPs.

Sea transportation plays a crucial role in supporting national development, particularly in transporting goods and passengers. Tanjung Emas Port in Semarang, as a major port with high traffic, faces significant challenges in ensuring navigational safety. This study aims to analyze the partial effects of three key operational factors—Communication System (X1), Safety Facilities (X2), and Crew Competence (X3)—on Navigational Safety (Y). A quantitative approach was used with a sample of 100 ship crew members, selected using incidental sampling. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) using SPSS. The results indicate that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on navigational safety. The regression equation obtained, Y = -1.398 + 0.218X1 + 0.278X2 + 0.302X3 + μ, shows that Crew Competence (X3) is the most dominant variable in predicting navigational safety outcomes. Collectively, these variables explain 72.4% of the variance in navigational safety. These findings emphasize that human competence and adherence to procedural discipline are critical leverage points in improving safety performance at ports.

This quantitative study analyzes the influence of Ship Docking Schedule (X1), Port Availability (X2), and Loading and Unloading Productivity (X3) on Vessel Waiting Time (Y) at Tanjung Intan Cilacap Port. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to 86 vessel crew respondents and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression (SPSS v.26). The t-test results indicate that X1, X2, and X3 individually exert a positive and significant influence on Y.1 The regression model demonstrates robust predictive power, explaining 55.2% of the variance in vessel waiting time (R^2{adj}=0.552). Based on the standardized beta coefficients, the Ship Docking Schedule (X1, \beta=0,385) is identified as the most dominant factor, followed by Loading and Unloading Productivity (X3, \beta=0,302) and Port Availability (X2, \beta=0,307).1 This finding confirms that optimizing maritime logistics performance, particularly in bulk terminals facing physical constraints, requires prioritizing procedural efficiency and scheduling accuracy.

Sectio caesarean (SC) is a major surgical procedure performed to save the mother and baby when normal delivery is not possible. However, this procedure may cause postoperative complications such as impaired physical mobility due to pain, muscle weakness, and anesthesia effects. These limitations can delay the healing process, increase the risk of infection, and reduce the mother's self-care ability. One effective non-pharmacological intervention to accelerate recovery is early mobilization through Range of Motion (ROM) exercises. This case study aims to analyze the effectiveness of early mobilization (ROM) intervention on improving mobility and reducing pain in post-sectio caesarean mothers. The study was conducted in June 2025 at RSUD Kajen with three respondents who underwent SC for different obstetric indications (postterm, CPD, and severe preeclampsia). The research design used a descriptive case study with pre–post intervention approach. The results showed that after performing ROM exercises gradually from six hours post SC, pain intensity decreased from a scale of 7–8 to 1–3 within three days. Mobility ability improved from only being able to turn sideways to sitting and walking with assistance. Respondents also showed increased motivation and independence in self-care activities. In conclusion, early mobilization (ROM) intervention is effective in accelerating recovery for post-sectio caesarean mothers. This intervention helps reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, and enhance psychological adaptation. Early mobilization should be applied as part of routine nursing interventions in the postpartum ward.

Educational institutions are under pressure to create organized and responsible quality assurance systems because raising the standard of education has become a global imperative. The Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and the External Quality Assurance System (SPME) are integrated in Indonesia to achieve this. However, accountability must be transparent, real-time, and not just administrative due to the quick digital revolution. In order to enhance educational accountability in the digital age, this study attempts to examine and model the integration of internet-based internal and external quality assurance systems. Nine pertinent papers from 2018 to 2025 were chosen and examined using a systematic Literature Review (LR) process and a qualitative methodology. The findings show that institutional performance and accountability are greatly improved by the successful implementation of SPMI, which is driven by the PPEPP cycle (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement). Additionally, the integration of digital-based systems (e-SPMI) acts as a link between SPME and SPMI, guaranteeing data correctness, efficiency, and transparency for accrediting needs. The results highlight the need for an integrated, web-based quality assurance system that facilitates evidence-based decision-making in order to attain educational accountability in the digital age. In order to automate data collection and reporting procedures, the study advises educational institutions to implement an online quality management information system

Logistics and Supply Chain Insights 2025 Indonesian Maritime Researchers and Lecturers

This study analyzes the influence of internal operational variables—Process, Service Quality, and Facilities—on the Export Performance of PT. Panah Perdana Logisindo, a freight forwarding company in Semarang. Maritime logistics plays a crucial role in national competitiveness, but company performance often faces challenges amidst the complexity of global supply chains . Employing a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 export service users, multiple linear regression analysis indicates that all three independent variables positively and significantly affect Export Performance (Y). The results reveal that Process has the most dominant influence (\beta=0.309), followed closely by Facilities (\beta=0.302) and Service Quality (\beta=0.255). The model explains 53.0% of the variance in the company's Export Performance (Raja Ferry, 2025 2). These findings confirm the necessity of strengthening micro-operational aspects (efficient procedures, robust networks, and staff professionalism) as a core strategy for enhancing profitability and customer loyalty amidst macro-logistical challenges in Indonesia.

Importance of gut microbiota during neurodevelopment has increased, as has the potential relationship between the gut microbiota and (ASD). Complex associations between gut microbiota and ASD are explored here, including significant pathways such as immune modulation, neurotransmitter control, and gut-brain axis signaling. Based on available data, individuals with ASD possess distinctive microbial signatures that are characterized by reduced diversity and altered abundance of specific bacterial species. Such modifications could be related to symptoms of the behavioral nature, neuroinflammatory, as well as gastrointestinal. ASD growth as well as severity could be influenced by the composition of microbiome, depending on genetic, nutrition, microbial exposure during the earliest phases, as well as antibiotic use. Additional therapies based on the microbiome that presented the potential to alleviate the symptoms related to ASD include the use of probiotics, prebiotics, diet modification, as well as fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT). Still, establishing the causal associations, standardizing the procedure of handling the patients, as well as solving the problem related to the manipulation of microbiome, are still challenging activities, though. Large-scale, long-term studies need to be the core agenda of subsequent research, so that specific microbial signatures associated with ASD will be clearly defined, as well as tailored therapies that address the microbiome will be developed. Understanding more about the role that the microbiota plays during ASD may open up the diagnosis as well as the therapy based on the entirely new concepts, something that will ultimately benefit the patients who possess the disorder.

Mediation, as one of the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms in civil cases, aims to provide efficient, timely, and non-confrontational solutions for disputing parties. Within the Indonesian legal system, mediation has been formally regulated through the Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 1 of 2016 concerning Mediation Procedures in Court. This study seeks to examine the implementation of civil dispute resolution through mediation from a legal perspective while also assessing its empirical effectiveness in district courts. The research employs an empirical juridical approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with mediator judges, advocates, and disputing parties who have participated in the mediation process, supported by documentation studies of civil case decisions resolved through mediation. The findings reveal that, normatively, mediation has a sufficiently strong legal foundation as an alternative method of dispute resolution. However, its practical effectiveness remains constrained by several challenges, such as the limited understanding and legal awareness of disputing parties, time constraints faced by mediator judges, and the absence of an optimal supervisory mechanism for monitoring mediation practices. These factors contribute to the relatively low success rate of mediation in practice. Therefore, improvements are required in the implementation of regulations, the establishment of more effective monitoring systems, and the enhancement of human resource capacity, particularly mediator competence. Strengthening these aspects is expected to enable mediation to function more effectively as a fair, efficient, and accessible mechanism for resolving civil disputes in Indonesia.

Legal problems in the land inheritance process often arise when inherited land has been registered in the name of another party. This study aims to examine the procedure for registering inherited land that has been issued a Certificate of Ownership (SHM) on behalf of other parties, as well as the form of legal protection for heirs. The research uses a normative juridical approach with a literature study method based on primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The approaches used include legislative, conceptual, analytical, and case approaches. The analysis of legal materials is carried out through grammatical, systematic interpretation, analogous construction, and legal refinement construction. The results of the study show that the registration of inherited land must be carried out by the entitled heirs, especially for land that has not been certified. Registration is carried out sporadically as a form of registration for the first time. Legal protection for heirs is obtained preventively through the land registration process, and repressively in the event of arbitrary actions from other parties or government agencies. This research emphasizes the importance of legal certainty in the process of registering inherited land and the protection of the rights of heirs so that they are not harmed by the existence of other parties' certificates. This effort is part of the fair and transparent enforcement of agrarian law in Indonesia.

This research is motivated by the importance of business licensing in the trade of goods and services sector as an instrument of legality, supervision, and legal protection; however, its implementation still faces gaps between normative regulations and practices in the field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of business actors’ compliance with licensing obligations, identify obstacles in the implementation of risk-based licensing policies, and evaluate their impact on compliance. The method used is library research with a normative juridical approach, through an examination of primary legal materials in the form of laws and related regulations, as well as secondary and tertiary legal materials from scientific literature. The results show that the effectiveness of risk-based licensing policies has not been optimally achieved due to low legal literacy, limited digital understanding, and the perception that licenses are merely a formality, causing many business actors to neglect administrative obligations. This condition illustrates the existence of a gap between regulatory objectives and implementation practices. These findings emphasize the need for procedural simplification, intensified socialization, and strengthened technical assistance so that licensing policies become more responsive to the needs of business actors, while simultaneously encouraging compliance and enhancing national economic competitiveness.

In the current era of digitalization, public needs for fast, efficient, and transparent public services are increasing. The Sidoarjo Regency Government responds to these needs by launching a technology-based public service innovation, namely the Sidoarjo People's Service System (SiPraja) application. This study aims to analyze the implementation of public policy through SiPraja in Medaeng Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study. Research informants consisted of the Village Head, village officials, SiPraja operators, and community service users. The results show that the implementation of SiPraja in Medaeng Village has been quite good based on the Van Meter and Van Horn indicators, including the size and objectives of the policy, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, attitudes of implementers, inter-organizational communication, and social, economic, political environments. Supporting factors for implementation include high village government commitment, adequate technology infrastructure availability, and active community participation. However, there are still obstacles in the form of uneven digital literacy among the community, especially in the elderly age group, and limited understanding of some residents regarding application usage procedures. This study provides recommendations to increase the intensity of socialization and training on the use of the SiPraja application, as well as optimize the role of RT/RW as community assistance agents.

This study aims to analyze the legal status of the Deed of Decision of the Foundation's Board of Trustees Meeting which was made not in accordance with the meeting agenda, identify legal problems arising from procedural defects, and examine the legal responsibility of notaries and foundation trustees as reflected in the Decision of the Bandung District Court Number 389/Pdt.G/2019/PN Bdg. The method used is normative juridical with a case approach and statute approach. Primary data was obtained from the court decision, while secondary data came from Law Number 28 of 2004 concerning Foundations, its implementing regulations, and related legal literature. The results of the study indicate that the deed of decision of the board of trustees meeting which was not in accordance with the meeting agenda in this case was declared invalid and not binding because it contained procedural defects and was contrary to the principle of justice. As a result, various legal problems arose, such as unlawful acts, flawed meeting decisions, notarial deeds that lost their force, and potential sanctions for notaries. Legal responsibility in this case rests with both the notary and the foundation's trustees, who can be held civilly liable for damages and immaterial losses.

Obstetricians are often confronted with medical malpractice lawsuits, even when they have acted in accordance with professional standards, medical service standards, operational procedures, and medical ethics. Medical malpractice is generally defined as negligence or deviation from professional standards that results in serious harm to patients (Fiscina, 1999). This study aims to examine the application of the concept of medical malpractice along with its legal implications and to analyze the forms of legal protection available to obstetricians under Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, viewed from the perspective of the principle of justice. Using a normative juridical method with descriptive-analytical specifications, the research employed a literature study and qualitative deductive analysis. The results indicate that legal protection for obstetricians consists of two dimensions: preventive and repressive. Preventive protection includes the implementation of informed consent, proper medical records, and compliance with standard operating procedures. Repressive protection involves legal defense mechanisms and institutional or professional organizational support. However, this protection remains suboptimal, as the decisions of the Indonesian Medical Disciplinary Board (MKDKI) are not always taken into account by the courts (Rahman, 2022). From the perspective of Rawls’ principle of justice, protection for obstetricians should ensure a balanced recognition of both patients’ and doctors’ rights, thereby promoting fairness and equitable justice for all parties (Rawls, 1971).

Hypertension is categorized as one of the most widespread chronic non-infectious conditions among the elderly and can heighten the risk of serious complications. A non-pharmacological strategy that may be implemented to manage hypertension is the administration of boiled moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), which are known among scientific communities for possessing antioxidant agents and potent bioactive molecules that function synergistically in maintaining cardiovascular stability and decreasing arterial pressure. This empirical study sought to examine how far the intake of boiled moringa leaves contributes to reducing blood pressure values in hypertensive older adults living within Meunasah Papeun Village, situated in Krueng Barona Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The statistical evaluation showed a significant p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a substantial effect under a quantitative quasi-experimental approach applying the One Group Pretest-Posttest model. The research sample included 20 participants chosen from a total population of 77 individuals through purposive sampling. The investigation took place from May 27 to June 25. Data were obtained using observation forms, standard operating procedures (SOP) for moringa leaf preparation, and manual sphygmomanometer readings. The findings revealed that prior to the application of treatment, the mean systolic blood pressure reached a level of 193.30 mmHg, whereas following the intervention it displayed a considerable decrease, it fell to 129.75 mmHg. The mean diastolic pressure also exhibited a decrease from 94.00 mmHg, confirming the notable influence of moringa leaf decoction in controlling hypertension. In summary, moringa leaf infusion proved effective in lowering blood pressure among elderly individuals suffering from hypertension. It is recommended that patients regularly consume boiled moringa leaves when experiencing increased blood pressure, that community health services provide education regarding non-pharmacological hypertension management through moringa leaf decoction, and that further research explore this topic with broader variables.

The dynamics of the positions of DPR members cannot be separated from the political activities of lame ducks. However, the lame duck era became problematic because the DPR's legislative activity suddenly increased rapidly towards the end of its term. This increase was accompanied by the controversial passing of a number of bills. This study will examine the urgency of the need for change and the formation of new laws during the lame duck era and the dynamics of the legislative process during the lame duck era of political leadership in Indonesia, using doctrinal research with a legislative and conceptual approach. Based on the research results, it is known that changes and the formation of new laws during the lame duck era lack urgency but will have a negative impact on the quality of legislation and public trust in the government. The dynamics of the legislative process during the lame duck era of political leadership in Indonesia can be reflected in the formation of the fourth revision of the Constitutional Court Bill and the Law on State Ministries. Furthermore, since the first level of deliberation, the process has been closed and rushed without significant public participation. Moreover, Indonesia is currently in a transitional position towards a new government. Therefore, no new regulations should be enacted during this transitional period, as the drafting of the Constitutional Court Bill fails to meet the philosophical, sociological, and legal requirements. Furthermore, the enactment of the State Ministry Law has also sparked controversy, ranging from its substance to its procedural basis.

This study aims to analyze the levels of reducing sugars and sucrose in Trigona honey using the Luff Schoorl method as a key parameter for assessing honey quality and authenticity. Trigona honey, produced by stingless bees, possesses unique physicochemical characteristics that differ from Apis mellifera honey, thus requiring further scientific investigation of its sugar profile. The analysis was performed at the BSPJI Pekanbaru Laboratory using a titrimetric procedure based on the Luff Schoorl reagent, involving the determination of reducing sugars and sucrose following hydrolysis. The results revealed that the reducing sugar content of the Trigona honey sample was 31.75%, while the sucrose content was 9.6%. These values do not comply with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 8664:2018), which requires a minimum of 55% reducing sugars and a maximum of 5% sucrose in honey. The non-conformity is presumed to be influenced by factors such as nectar source, high moisture content, premature harvesting, and storage conditions. Nevertheless, the deviation from the standard does not necessarily indicate adulteration but may reflect the natural characteristics of stingless bee honey. This research provides scientific evidence that may contribute to the evaluation of specific quality standards for Trigona honey in Indonesia and serve as a reference for future studies related to authentication and standardization of stingless bee honey products.
