The existence of governance structure such as board ofcommissioners and audit committee implies a better monitoring functionon the financial reporting process that represent manager actions.Nevertheless, the quality of the monitoring function depends on howeffective the board and the audit committee perform their duties. Thisstudy examines how the effectiveness of the board of commissioners andaudit committee in a two tierboard structure influences the taxaggressiveness.This study develops a score for board and audit committeeeffectiveness by using a checklist which captures how the independence,activity, size, and competence characteristics are reflected in the board ofcommissioners and audit committe.Hypothesis testing is carried out byusing a multiple regression model of 105 observations (firm-year) withthe sample taken from manufacture companies listed on the IndonesianStock Exchange during t.Results of this study provide robust evidencethat a more effective board of commissioners and audit committee willdecrease tax aggressiveness.

The purpose of this research is to know how the sales growth, accountreceivables turn over and working capitals turnover impact the liquiditylevel at agro industry and automotive industry which listed on Bursa EfekIndonesia (2010-2015). The datas in this research is analyzed fromfinancial statement of the companies. The datas which have alreadycollected are processed with classic assumption test before hypothesis testand chow test.Hypothesis datas in this research uses double degree linear regressionwith t test and chow test. The research show that sales growth doesn”t hasimpact toward liquidity level partially, receivables turn over has impacttoward liquidity level partially, working capital turnover has impact onagro industry but doesn’t impact on automotive industry. While the testcan use the chow test to know that there is no dofference between the salesgrowth, account receivables turnover and working capital turnover of thecompany’s liquidity in the agro industry and automotive industry

This study aims to examine the effect of the level of financial distress,corporate governance mechanisms and the quality of public accounting firmsto accounting conservatism. Accounting conservatism is the dependentvariable in this study is measured by the size of the accrual. Independentvariables measured include levels of financial distress, managerialownership,institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board,board size, audit committees, the number of partners who have permissionaccountants and public accounting firms size. The control variables in thisstudy are firm size and leverage.The populationof thisresearchis a property companylistedinIndonesiaStock Exchange (IDX) in 2009 to 2011. The total study sample was 31companies determined through purposive sampling. Useful analysis of data isdone with the classical assumption and hypothesis testing with multiplelinear regression method. The results of this study indicate that board sizeand firm size control variable positive influence on conservatism.Institutional ownership, audit committees and the quality of the publicaccounting firm based partner who has a negative effect on accountantlicense conservatism. For the level of financial difficulty, managerialownership, the proportion of independent board, the size of the firm and thecontrol variables do not leverage positive influence on conservatism.

This study aims to examine variable-variable firm size, profitability,financial leverage, managerial ownership and devident payout ratio to findcompanies that perform income smoothing practices and that not doingincome smoothing practices listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ofthe year 2008-2012. This study uses a quantitative approach, where the dataused for the study are the financial statements of the years 2008-2012. Thesamples are 265 companies for 5 years in companies listed on the IndonesiaStock Exchange and were selected using purposive sampling method.Subsequently the samples were classified into groups grader profit and notincome smoothing using Eckel. Analysis of the data obtained performed usinglogistic regression analysis. The test results of five independent variables usinglogistic regression showed that company size and financial leverage effect onincome smoothing practices while to profitability, managerial ownership , anddevident payout ratio has no effect on income smoothing practices

This study aims to examines the effect of ownership structure on corporateperformance of manufacturing companies listed in BEI or Indonesia StockExchange for the period 2010-2013. Ownership structure consisted offoreign ownership, government ownership, managerial ownership,institutional ownership and family ownership. Corporate performance ismeasured by ROE (Return on Equity). This study is used 216 samples ofmanufacturing companies listed in BEI or Indonesia Stock Exchange forthe period 2010-2013. This study is used a multiple regression. The resultsshow that foreign ownership, government ownership, institusionalownership and family ownership have a positive and significant effect toCorporate performance. Managerial ownershiphas no influenceonCorporate performance.

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of good corporate governance, Leverage, profitability and company size to earnings quality. The population is the entire company included in the CGPI ranking for the period of 2013-2016. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The sample criteria in this study are (a) Companies that follow CGPI ranking in 2012-2016. (b) Companies listed on the Stock Exchange (c) The Company earns a positive profit. Analyzer used is multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis can be concluded that: Good corporate governance positive effect on earnings quality. Leverage has no effect on earnings quality. Profitability has no effect on earnings quality. Company size has a positive effect on earnings quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Original Income, the difference between the expenditure budget, and the Area of Capital expenditure with economic growth as a moderating variable. Population in this research is Regency / City of Province of Central Java counted 35 which consist of 29 regency and 6 municipality. Sample Samples selected were 35 districts / cities with census technique. Secondary data retrieval method using report from BPS in Regency / Municipality of Central Java Province. The analysis used multiple linear regression model of moderation model with the basis of interaction. The results showed that PAD has a positive effect on capital expenditure. Similarly, SiLPA has a positive effect on capital expenditure. The area has positive effect on capital expenditure. Economic Growth is a positive influence on capital expenditure. Economic growth strengthens the effect of PAD on capital expenditures. While Economic Growth is not proven to strengthen the influence of SiLPA on capital expenditure. This study aims to examine and analyze the Influence of Corporate Age, Company Size, Leverage, Liquidity, Profitability and Environmental Performance on Disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting on companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in 2012 – 2015. Object of research on companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in the first period in 2012 - 2015 and obtained 56 companies that become the sample. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The data analysis used in this research is OLS (Ordinary Least Squerst) multiple linear regression, to get a complete picture about the influence of each independent variable to the dependent variable.The results of this study found firm age, firm size, and liquidity significantly positive impact on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting, while leverage, Profitability and Environmental performance does not affect the disclosure of Islamic social reporting. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the company's growth, profitability, asset structure, business risk, tax and liquidity to funding decisions on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2015. Sample selection is done by purposive sampling method. Data were processed as many as 242 companies. Mechanical testing data is by using multiple linear regression analysis.The results of analysis show that the variable asset structure and tax significant positive effect on funding decision, the variable  liquidity (current ratio) significant negative effect on funding decision, while the variable  business risk does not affect to the funding decision on Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: asset structure, business risk, tax, liquidity and funding decision

This study aims to examine and analyze empirically on the influence of gender, pressure of obedience, task complexity, and experience of auditors on audit judgment at auditors KAP Semarang, Solo and Yogyakarta. The population used in this study are all auditors KAP Semarang, Solo and Yogyakarta. The sampling method used is convenience sampling, which is sample selection based on convenience, so the author has the freedom to choose the most rapid and easy sample. In this study, the dependent variable used is audit judgment, while the independent variable consists of gender, pressure of obedience, task complexity, and experience of the auditor. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that gender has a positive and significant impact on audit judgment. The pressure of obedience has a positive and significant impact on audit judgment. The complexity of duties has a positive and significant impact on audit judgment. This study is performed to test the effect of LDR, and BOPO toward NIM to increase ROA. The objective to analyze the effect of the bank financial ratios performance (LDR and BOPO) toward NIM to increase ROA in banking industry over period 2011-2013. Sampling technique used here is pusposive sampling. The data was taken Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). It is gained sample amount of 114 data. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and f-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level of significance 5%. In addition, classical assumption is also performed including normality test, multicolinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The result shows LDR and BOPO to have influence toward NIM at level of significance less than 5%, and LDR and BOPO, and NIM have influence toward ROA at level of significance more than 5%. This study examines the factors that affect the quality of audits at the existing KAP offices in the city of Semarang. This research was conducted in seven offices of KAP located in Semarang city by using auditor's analysis unit working in KAP office.The sampling method using Convenience sampling. The relationship or influence between variables is explained by using multiple linier regression analysis method and hypothesis test (t test). The results showed that the competence variables have a positive and significant impact on audit quality. The independence variable has a positive and significant influence on audit quality. The ethical variable of the auditor has a positive and significant influence on audit quality. The auditor experience variable has a positive and significant influence on audit quality. Professional skepticism audit variables have a positive and significant impact on audit quality,. The auditor's objectivity variable has a positive and significant influence on audit quality,. This research aims to investigate and analyze factors that influence provincial government disclosurefiscal years 2013-2015. Disclosure of goverment financial statements is a form of goverment transparency and accountabilit, but many local goverments do not disclose the full financial statements. Population of this research are provincial goverment financial statements in Indonesia fiscal year 2013-2015 based on Government Accounting Standard. Samples are included in the criteria of this study were 101 financial statements using purposive sampling method. This research data analysis methods using the multiple linear regression analysis by SPSS 23.0. The results showed that realized of revenue and number of units under Provincial (SKPD) have positiveand significant influence on the disclosure level of provincial government financial statements. While total asset have negative effect and significant influence on the disclosure level of provincial government financial statements. However, the level of dependence,population, number of audit findings and level of financial irregularities do not significantly influence the disclosure level of provincial government financial statements. One of the biggest state revenue to support the country's life is taxes. Tax compliance is one of the factors that affect the size of a state income tax. This study aimed to examine the effect of tax knowledge, tax awareness, quality of service tax authorities, tax rates, and tax penalties on tax compliance SMEs.The population in this study is the taxpayer SMEs in Gayamsari, Semarang City as much as 80 SMEs that are in 7 villages namely, Gayamari, Tambakrejo, Kaligawe, large rice fields, Siwalan, Tendean Lamper, Sambirejo. The sampling method is done by census sampling method, the number of taxpayers SME population in Sub Gayamsari entirely used as a sample in the study. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression.The results showed that knowledge of tax significant positive effect on the SME tax compliance, tax awareness significant positive effect on the SME tax compliance, service quality fiskus significant positive effect on the SME tax compliance, tax rates significant positive effect on the taxpayer kepatuhaan SMEs, and tax penalties significant positive effect on the SME. The study examines the effect of internal cash flow, insider ownership, profitability, investment opportunity and sales growth on capital expenditure. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Stock Exchange by using a go public manufacturing company as the unit of analysis.Population in this research is manufacturing company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period form 2010 to 2014. The sampling method used purposive sampling. The research sample includes companies that have insider ownership, releasing financial statement, has the completeness of data, used the rupiah currency  Relationship and (or) influence between variables is describe by using multiple regression analysis.The result showed that the insider ownership has significant negative effect and investment opportunity has significant positive effect to the capital expenditure. Where as the internal cash flow and sales growth has no significant positive effect, and profitability has no significant negative effect to the capital expenditure.Keywords:   Internal Cash Flow, Insider Ownership, Profitability, Investment Opportunity, Sales Growth and Capital Expenditure.

Regional autonomy makes the region able to develop in accordance with its capabilities and does not depend on the Central Government. Efforts to increase the Original Revenue will not give meaning if not followed by an increase in regional economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of Local Revenue and Provincial Assistance on Capital Expenditures Moderated by Regional Economic Growth The research was conducted in the administrative area of Central Java Province Regency, which is 35 districts / cities consisting of 29 districts and 6 municipalities. The analytical technique used moderate quasi-model regression with the basis of interaction. The results of the hypothesis show that the Original Revenue, Provincial Assistance, and Economic Growth affect the Capital Expenditure. While Economic Growth is also proven to moderate the influence of Original Revenue on Capital Expenditure. The results of this study show that the model is able to explain the variance of Capital Expenditure of 85.5%. Keywords: Local Revenue, Provincial Assistance, Economic Growth, Capital Expenditure.

This research examines the influence of  female CEO, female CFO, female board of commissioners, and female audit committee on accrual based earnings management. This research presume that man and woman would act differently to solve a problem. This research using a sample of 304 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2013 that selected based on purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing is performed by using multiple linier regression to examine the effect of each  independent variable on the dependent variable. The result of this research showed that the position of CFO who is held by female have a significant negative effect on accrual based earnings management. While the position of female CEO, female board of commissioners, and female audit committee have no significant effect on accrual based earnings management.  Keywords: gender, corporate governance, earnings management, accrual based earnings management.

This research aimed to examine and analyze the effect of executive characteristic, size, sales growth, and leverage towards corporate tax avoidance. On this research, leverage used as mediating variabel to mediate the relationship between executive charactheristic, size, and sales growth to corporate tax avoidance. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2012 to 2014. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling with sample data which gathering of this research was 129. Data was processed by SPSS software using multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The result of this research showed that executive characteristic, size, sales growth, and leverage had a significant effect to tax avoidance. Based on path analysis, leverage as mediating variabel can’t mediate the relationship between executive characteristic to tax avoidance, but it can mediated the relationship between size and sales growth to tax avoidance in the company. Keywords: executive characteristic, size, sales growth, leverage, tax avoidance

The company's value can be measured from the Price Book Value (PBV). PBV is the ratio of stock price to book value companies that show how much the stock price per share as compared to book value per share.The sample of this study consisted of 10 companies included in the index LQ45 firm and the index of Sembiring listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2010 to 2013. Analytical techniques used are the Multiple Regression Analysis with a significance level α = 5%. Profitability positively effect and significantly on the value of the company. Company size negatively effect and significantly on the value of the company. Leverage positively effect and significantly on the value of the company. This study analyzes the factors that affect tax aggressiveness by comparing NPM companies with NPM industry. The sample used in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the BEI 2010-2015. Testing is done by logistic regression. The results showed that leverage, inventory intensity, and fixed asset intensity had no effect on tax aggressiveness. While profitability have a positive effect on tax aggressiveness.
