Chronic diseases are degenerative conditions that significantly impact an individual's quality of life. Various degenerative diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and heart stroke, require immediate attention. Indonesia faces a dual burden in healthcare, grappling with both rampant infectious diseases and the rising prevalence of chronic degenerative illnesses. Therefore, health promotion efforts are crucial in preventing degenerative diseases among adolescents. This initiative targets teenagers due to their unhealthy lifestyle choices, which are evident in their smoking habits, poor dietary practices, insufficient consumption of fruits and vegetables, and a lack of physical activity. The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance awareness regarding the prevention of degenerative diseases among youth and to address the emergence of such conditions in this age group. The results of the community service activities indicate a notable increase in average knowledge from 6.61 to 13.80 and an improvement in attitudes from 9.61 to 14.47. The community service activities were successfully executed, as evidenced by the smooth conduct of the events and the active participation of the adolescents. To improve health quality, it is essential to foster awareness and enhance education among teenagers about the prevention of degenerative diseases.

Blasting is an activity that breaks rocks from their parent rock using explosives to create smaller fragments, making the loading and transportation processes easier. One of the environmental impacts of blasting activities is ground vibration. Ground vibration is one of the outcomes of blasting activities, and it is measured using the PPV (Peak Particle Velocity) value. Ground vibration can become a problem for companies if it exceeds the safe vibration quality standard (SNI 7571: 2010), as it can pose a danger to humans and nearby buildings. The Air Deck is an air column in the blast hole that aims to reduce energy vertically, this method can reduce the use of explosives. This research was conducted at the Sentuk Pit of PT. Multi Harapan Utama in East Kalimantan. Observations were made during 42 blast events to determine the impact of the air deck method on the resulting vibration. During the study, the maximum PPV value was 13.87 mm/s, while the minimum PPV value was 1.13 mm/s. The average ground vibration measurement value for non-air deck blasting was 4.40 mm/s, while the average ground vibration measurement value for air deck blasting was 3.95 mm/s. The use of this method also reduced the powder factor value. For non-air deck blasting, the average powder factor value was 0.26 kg/m³, and for air deck blasting, the powder factor value was 0.20 kg/m³, resulting in a 23.08% reduction in explosive usage. To calculate the predicted PPV, scaled distance calculations were used. Based on the predicted PPV calculation results, the deviation from the actual PPV was 1.59 mm/s.

Plastic waste is widely found in the environment. Degraded plastic waste eventually forms microplastics. Microplastic pollution has been widely found in various elements in the environment, such as in water, in the air, in organisms, and in salt. The study of microplastics in salt in Indonesia is still very limited, so a literature review was carried out on research carried out in the time period from 2020 to 2024. The parameters observed included abundance, shape, size, color and type of microplastics. The abundance obtained was between 46 particles/kg to 29 particles/g or assumed to be equivalent to 29,000 particles/kg in coarse salt. The abundance of microplastics in commercial salt was between 40 particles/kg to 306.67 particles/kg. The forms of microplastics found included fibers, films, fragments, filaments, and pellets. The microplastics found were black, transparent, red, blue, green, purple, brown, and white. Meanwhile, the size of the microplastics found was between 0.017 mm to 4.936 mm. Microplastic types were only found in one article, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU), polyester, nylon, and polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG).

This paper examines the influence of Qatar’s Islamic identity on its policies during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with a focus on LGBTQ rights. Using a constructivist approach, the study explores how Qatar’s adherence to Islamic principles, particularly Sharia law, shaped its regulations and responses to international pressures. Qatar's prohibition of LGBTQ symbols, despite assurances of safety for all attendees, including the LGBTQ community, drew significant criticism from Western nations and human rights organizations. The study highlights the tension between Qatar’s cultural and religious values and global expectations surrounding inclusivity and human rights. It also explores the broader implications of Qatar’s policies, reflecting its challenge of balancing traditional Islamic values while hosting a global event. Ultimately, this research sheds light on the complexities of cultural diplomacy and the difficulties nations like Qatar face in navigating conflicting global and local norms.

This research aims to elucidate the significance of restorative justice during the investigative phase and the legal assurance for investigators who apply restorative justice in cases of party noncompliance with the agreement. The author employs normative legal research, which involves the collection and analysis of legal documents pertinent to the subject at hand. This legal research employs the statute and case approaches. This writing employs primary and secondary legal materials. This article conducts prescriptive research. The findings of this research indicate that, initially, the concept of restorative justice during the investigative phase prioritizes substantive justice over procedural justice. We seek to establish substantive justice as the cornerstone of our rule of law, as it presents a promising opportunity for enhancing national well-being. The rule of law in Indonesia ought to foster the well-being of its citizens, and for this purpose, the notion of restorative justice, synonymous with substantive justice, is selected. Secondly, investigators lack legal clarity while implementing restorative justice if the participating parties violate the agreement. It may evolve into a complex issue when investigators seek to address broad criminal charges via restorative justice. The restorative justice concept is not acknowledged in general criminal offenses, although being governed by the Police Chief Regulation. Nonetheless, it is perceived that it still fails to offer legal certainty to investigators in the event of a future breach of contract or if the reported party defaults on their commitment or repeats their conduct.

Psychology is a scientific discipline that aims to understand human behavior. The differences in human behavior in response to the presence of stimulus have proven that every human being is unique and not the same, and their needs are different. No human being is the same psychologically even though their physical condition looks the same to the naked eye. This affects human abilities as well when faced with the source of the problem at hand. Every human being must constantly develop their competence, so as not to experience a mental crisis that can eventually lead to pathological disorders. Understanding human uniqueness especially in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities will help in the smoothness of the counseling process. At SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya, the counseling process is not based on psychological theory alone, but depends on the student. How to approach students who have problems at this high school with one of the ways in each class there is 1 hour of counseling lessons a week, so that students do not have fear, but students become more courageous to consult the BK teacher.

Public enthusiasm for government bonds is high due to the view that such investments are considered more saving and promising. In 1950 the government issued ORI with interest of 3% per year, but the bonds failed to pay because the government at that time did not have enough money so that many investors holding bonds as Government Debt Instruments experienced losses. In this research, a juridical analysis of the position of the parties in Government Debt Instruments (SUN) was carried out and an analysis of the form of legal protection for holders of Government Debt Instruments (SUN) in the risk of default provided by the government. The research method used in writing this law is normative juridical, with a statutory approach. There are findings that installments of principal and interest on state debt securities will be included as expenditure items in the APBN each year. In the event that the risk of default does not sever the civil relationship between the SUN Issuer and the SUN holder as an Investor in a civil relationship, investors who suffer losses based on their civil rights can file a lawsuit for default due to the risk of default.

Political events often affect investors' decisions in taking wise steps. This paper analyses the impact of the political event "Emergency Alert" on the abnormal returns of IDX-listed infrastructure stocks using an event study methodology. Using a sample of 55 infrastructure stocks, the secondary data used are stock prices observed during the observation period. The difference in average returns before and after the event was assessed by analysing the estimated average abnormal return (AAR) and comparing the sample t-test statistics. The results of the analysis showed that a one-sample t-test (p < 0.05) indicated that abnormal returns were significant both before and after the event. However, a paired sample t-test showed that the difference between the average abnormal return rates of the two periods was not statistically significant (p > 0.05). This result suggests that although the "extraordinary alert" event has a significant impact on each period, its impact is not strong enough to cause a significant difference between periods. This study provides insights into stock market reactions to political uncertainty and serves as a reference for investors to address similar effects in the future.

This article examines marriage law as a form of uniformity and legal certainty. However, there are still differing views among Islamic scholars (fuqaha) regarding the position of witnesses in marriage. In light of this, the author is interested in discussing the role of marriage witnesses as one of the requirements for marriage according to the four fiqh schools of thought. This research employs a literature review method by collecting primary and secondary data from books, journals, and other legal regulations. The findings show that, according to the four fiqh schools, a marriage witness is an individual who clearly and certainly knows about the marriage event and is ready to provide evidence that can be held accountable if required by either party regarding the occurrence of the marriage. In the context of legal regulations, a marriage witness is recognized as one of the pillars of marriage, based on the view of the Shafi’i school. Two witnesses are the minimum requirement for marriage, and the purpose of having witnesses is to prevent the emergence of negative issues in society related to extramarital relationships. The presence of marriage witnesses also affirms the rights that arise after the marriage contract, such as the right to consultation, maintenance rights, and inheritance rights.

This research explores an in-depth understanding of how society responds to insurance policy analysis in non-bank financial institutions through a phenomenological approach. The findings show that limited financial literacy is the main challenge in understanding the complexity of insurance products outside of banking. The influence of personal experience, cultural values, and risk perceptions also shape people's perceptions of the value of insurance. Additionally, variations in participation levels and decision-making patterns were also revealed, weakening the understanding of risk levels. These financial literacy challenges cause chaos and confusion, hindering public participation in insurance products at non-bank financial institutions. Efforts to improve financial literacy and increase understanding of insurance claims are crucial to stimulate optimal community participation. The application of insurance remains relevant in helping people overcome financial problems due to unexpected events, building trust, and creating economic stability in the context of non-bank financial institutions.

Childbirth, whether through vaginal delivery or Cesarean section (CS), is a significant event often accompanied by psychological challenges such as anxiety, particularly among women undergoing CS. This quantitative study aimed to explore the correlation between spousal support and anxiety levels in 40 first-time CS candidates. Using purposive sampling, this research employed the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) and the Spousal Support Questionnaire as measurement tools. The majority of respondents were aged 26-35 years (80%), in their third trimester of pregnancy (100%), primigravida (80%), and presented with indications for CS (65%). All respondents reported receiving supportive spousal support during their pregnancy. The study revealed that 70% of mothers experienced mild anxiety, with only 5% reporting moderate anxiety. Statistical analysis using the Spearman rank test demonstrated a significant relationship between spousal support and anxiety levels among first-time CS candidates (p = 0.034, p < 0.05). This suggests that higher levels of spousal support correlate with lower anxiety levels in expectant mothers undergoing CS. The findings underscore the importance of spousal support during pregnancy and childbirth, highlighting the need for partners to accompany and provide emotional support to mitigate anxiety. Future research should explore additional factors influencing anxiety and consider interventions to enhance support mechanisms for expectant mothers undergoing CS.
