This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the e-monev application at the Jambi Province Public Works and Public Housing Agency (PUPR) and to identify the constraints encountered in its management. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving seven informants directly engaged in the application's management and operation. The analysis framework adopts the e-government success element theory by Indrajit (2002), comprising three dimensions: Support, Capacity, and Value. The findings reveal that the Support dimension is already strong, marked by leadership commitment, annual socialization and training, clear policy directives, and effective inter-unit coordination. In the Capacity dimension, human resource competence is generally adequate; however, technical constraints such as network instability, system slowdowns during concurrent access, and dependency on external programmers remain significant challenges. The Value dimension confirms that the e-monev application provides positive contributions to reporting efficiency, real-time monitoring, and data-based decision-making. Nevertheless, the overall effectiveness has not yet reached the optimal level due to persistent technical and infrastructure constraints. This study is expected to serve as an empirical basis for improving the quality of digital monitoring and evaluation systems in regional government agencies.

The selection process for accepting new employees is one of the important stages in a company to ensure that the candidates accepted have qualifications that suit the company's needs. At WINMART, the selection process is still carried out manually, so it is less efficient and prone to errors. Therefore, a system is needed that can assist in more objective and efficient decision making. This Decision Support System (DSS) is designed to assist the selection process for recruiting new employees using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which can assess several relevant criteria, such as work experience, education, skills and competency tests. This system was built on a web basis, so it can be easily accessed by parties involved in the selection process, such as HRD and managers. The SAW method was chosen because of its ability to convert various subjective criteria into more objective numerical scores, so that selection results can be more transparent and accountable. By using this system, it is hoped that it can increase efficiency, accuracy and transparency in the new employee selection process at WINMART, as well as facilitate decision making in selecting candidates who best suit the desired criteria.

This study examines the historical development of education in Malaysia, which has undergone a shift from the traditional pondok system to modern religious schools. This change was influenced by various factors, including social dynamics, colonial influence, and societal demands for a more structured and relevant education system. This study aims to explain this development process and identify the various factors driving this change. The research employed a qualitative approach through literature review, utilizing various sources, books, journals, and scientific documents, which were analyzed descriptively to gain a deeper understanding. The results show that the pondok system, which was initially informal and simple, even focusing only on teaching religious knowledge and moral development, underwent changes due to the influence of colonialism, the development of Western education, and the increasing societal need for formal education. This change gave rise to modern madrasahs and religious schools with more structured curricula, integrating religious and general knowledge, and implementing more systematic methods. The findings of this study confirm that this development did not completely eliminate the pondok system, but rather developed it into a more comprehensive educational system, enabling Islamic education in Malaysia to remain steadfast in Islamic values and adapt to modern demands.

This research examines digital charity practices within Christian media communication on YouTube, focusing on two distinct donation formats: marapthon live stream donations (e.g., 24‑hour fundraising events) and sermon‑based donations (offerings collected during or after online worship services). Despite the rapid growth of faith‑based online giving, a critical problem remains: the absence of an integrated system that aligns these two donation models with Christian values of transparency, accountability, and community stewardship. Existing platforms often treat live marapthon and sermon donations separately, leading to fragmented donor experiences and inefficient fund utilization. Therefore, this study aims to develop a conceptual framework for an integrated digital charity system by comparatively analyzing media communication strategies in both donation contexts. The proposed method is a netnographic comparative analysis, involving systematic observation of YouTube comments, chat logs, and video descriptions from 10 Christian channels (5 marapthon‑focused, 5 sermon‑focused) over six months, supplemented by semi‑structured interviews with content creators and donors. The main findings reveal that marapthon donations emphasize urgency and real‑time social proof, while sermon donations rely on theological framing and pastoral trust. The synthesis proposes a hybrid system architecture incorporating real‑time donation tracking, automated acknowledgment, and weekly theological reflection modules. In conclusion, integrating both models into a single development framework enhances donor engagement and aligns digital charity with Christian communication ethics, offering practical guidelines for church‑based YouTubers and platform developers.

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of interest groups in the food vendor appointment process in Medan City, particularly those based on political proximity. Using a qualitative approach with library research method and content analysis technique, data were collected from official documents, government reports, accredited scientific journals, laws and regulations, and publications from institutions such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Government Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP), and the Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The analysis shows that the food vendor appointment process in Medan City is not entirely meritocratic. Political proximity and personal relationships play a dominant role as informal mechanisms in vendor selection. Procurement transparency remains limited, as reflected in the low public access to tender documents and vendor evaluations. This practice indicates systemic political patronage, which results in budget inefficiency, a decline in the quality of public services, and an erosion of public trust. This study recommends strengthening the electronic procurement system (e-procurement), increasing participatory oversight, and reforming the bureaucracy at the regional level.

This research critically investigates the circulation of disinformation concerning the instability of fuel prices on the digital platform X and its subsequent implications for the polarization of modern society. In an era where unverified economic news frequently dictates public reaction, fake news often acts as a potent catalyst for mass anxiety. By implementing a quantitative framework driven by lexicon-based computational sentiment analysis, this study effectively processed a dataset of 500 public opinion samples extracted via Google Colab spanning from April 2024 to April 2026. To ensure computational accuracy and eliminate textual noise, the data underwent a rigorous preprocessing phase encompassing case folding, alongside the systematic removal of URLs, account mentions, numbers, hashtags, and punctuation marks. The statistical outcomes revealed a highly disproportionate emotional landscape, overwhelmingly dominated by 451 negative reviews. In stark contrast, neutral observations and positive affirmations were nearly absent, recording only 40 and 9 instances, respectively. The data compellingly illustrates that the relentless influx of pessimistic narratives regarding economic instability directly induces financial panic, undermines rational discourse, and severely fragments cyberspace into deeply polarized factions.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Communication and Informatics Departemen (Diskominfo) of Bandar Lampung City in controlling the spread of hoax news in the digital space. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using Renee Hobbs’ media literacy theory, which consists of five indicators: access, analyze, evaluate, create, and act. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the role of Diskominfo of Bandar Lampung City in controlling hoaxes has not been fully optimal, as reflected in several key issues. First, in terms of access, the dissemination of official information and hoax clarification has not reached all segments of society evenly. Second, regarding analysis, digital issue monitoring has been conducted but remains constrained by limited human resources. Third, in the evaluation aspect, information verification is carried out through inter-agency coordination; however, it has not yet been supported by standardized and systematic procedures. Fourth, in terms of content creation, clarification and media literacy messages have been produced and disseminated through digital platforms, but they have not been implemented consistently and continuously. Fifth, in the action dimension, media literacy education programs are still incidental and have not been integrated as a long-term preventive strategy. Therefore, comprehensive improvements are needed, including strengthening human resource capacity, enhancing information verification mechanisms, and developing systematic and sustainable media literacy programs to support the creation of a healthy public information ecosystem in Bandar Lampung City.

The development of social media has brought significant changes in how individuals perceive themselves, especially among female university students who are in the stage of identity formation. Social media is not only used as a communication tool but also as a space that presents homogeneous beauty standards which can influence self-perception. This study aims to analyze the construction of beauty standards on social media and their impact on female students’ self-perception. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method by analyzing 20  relevant academic articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that beauty standards on social media are constructed through repeated visual representations and reinforced by algorithmic systems, creating an idealized image of beauty. This condition encourages female students to engage in social comparison, leading to self-dissatisfaction and decreased self-confidence. However, these effects vary depending on individuals’ ability to filter and interpret information. This study highlights the importance of developing critical awareness in social media use to avoid being influenced by unrealistic beauty standards.

Unemployment remains a serious challenge in Aceh, with an Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) of 8.24% (2025) in Lhokseumawe City and 6.54% (2025) in Banda Aceh City. This study compares the implementation and effectiveness of unemployment alleviation policies in the two cities using Van Meter and Van Horn's policy implementation framework with four effectiveness indicators: training absorption, job placement rate, corporate compliance, and community participation. A descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach was employed, utilizing secondary data from journals, theses, and official documents. The findings show that Banda Aceh focuses on competency-based training through the Job Training Center (BLK) with certification and third-party partnerships. Lhokseumawe prioritizes Qanun Number 1 of 2020 on local labor priority (minimum 40%). Based on the indicators, Banda Aceh is more effective (55% of graduates employed) compared to Lhokseumawe, where local labor priority implementation is weak due to the absence of sanctions and non-existent coordination with PT. PAG. The novelty of this study lies in its systematic comparison of two Acehnese cities using a policy implementation model that integrates demographic bonus and local context. Specific recommendations: Banda Aceh needs to expand BLK capacity, extend training duration (9–12 months with internships), and mandate graduate absorption reports. Lhokseumawe needs to revise the qanun by adding administrative sanctions, recruit permanent instructors, establish a tripartite supervisory team, and establish an energy-sector BLK in the Arun area in collaboration with PT PAG.
