Education is one of the main pillars in human resource development, and effective education policies are essential to achieve this goal. This study aims to analyze education policies in Bogor City with an Islamic education approach, which emphasizes moral values, ethics, and character. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through documentation studies and in-depth interviews. Data were collected from various sources, including regional education policy documents, education evaluation reports, and interviews with education officials, educators, and local community leaders. The results of the study indicate that education policies in Bogor City have integrated several elements of Islamic education, such as an emphasis on noble morals, student character development, and the creation of a conducive learning environment. However, this study also identified several challenges in implementing the policy, including the lack of training for educators on the application of Islamic values in teaching, the uneven distribution of educational resources, and the lack of community participation in the education process. Further analysis revealed that existing education policies do not fully reflect the principles of holistic Islamic education, which should include spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. This study recommends the need to strengthen the curriculum based on Islamic character education, increase training and professional development for educators, and increase collaboration between the government, schools, and the community in creating a more conducive educational environment. Thus, it is hoped that education policies in Bogor City can be more effective in forming a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has a deep understanding of Islamic values, is able to contribute positively to society, and becomes a role model in everyday behavior.

Medan is home to a number of historical buildings from the colonial era and the Islamic Malay Kingdom of Deli, many of which are now heritage sites. However, some buildings remain abandoned, such as the Warenhuis building on Jalan Hindu. Built in 1918 and protected by Law No. 11/2010 and Medan Mayor Decree No. 433/28.K/X/2021, Warenhuis needs to be revitalized to maintain its cultural significance. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased interest in digital connectivity and art. Advances in virtual reality and augmented reality have created new immersive art experiences. The 2000s saw significant growth in the field of new media art, with more and more art collectives utilizing technology. The Cultural Promotion Law No. 5/2017 focuses on the protection, development, and utilization of the arts. Medan, the third largest city in Indonesia, has great potential as a digital art gallery that helps promote culture through conservation, development and community participation. The regeneration of Warenhuis as a digital art gallery uses an infill development design that blends contemporary digital art with the classic architecture of the building, creating a dynamic and inclusive art space while maintaining its historical value.

The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, which includes in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), participant observation, and documentation. The research results show that people's perception of mosques is still limited to their main worship function, with low awareness of the potential of mosques as educational, social and economic centers. The level of community participation in non-worship activities is also relatively low, with the majority of the community only active in congregational prayers and routine recitation activities. Some of the main challenges identified include limited resources, lack of community support, and inadequate facilities. The policy of ownership of the right to the flats is an important aspect in the arrangement of vertical housing in Indonesia, especially in dense urban areas such as Kampung Utama Batam City. The background of this research focuses on the complexity of ownership dualism between individual property rights over units and collective rights to common parts, common objects, and common land. Conflicts of interest and management problems often arise, hindering the optimal implementation of policies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of government policies on ownership of rights to apartment units in Kampung Utama Batam City, identify existing obstacles, and provide recommendations for improvement. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with case studies. Data was collected through analysis of legal documents, interviews with stakeholders, and field observations. The analysis was carried out using positive legal theory from John Austin to understand the existing legal framework, legal system theory from Lawrence M. Friedman to evaluate the interaction between legal structure, substance, and culture, and legal certainty theory from Sudikno Mertokusumo to assess the clarity and predictability of applicable laws. The results of the study show that although the policy has been well drafted in Law No. 20 of 2011 concerning Flats, its implementation in the field still faces various obstacles. Dualism of ownership, unclear certificate status, complex administrative procedures, and lack of legal socialization are some of the main problems found. Strengthening the role of the Flats Owners and Occupants Association (P3SRS), the use of digital technology for administrative procedures, and increased supervision and law enforcement were identified as solutions to overcome these obstacles. The suggestions provided include increased coordination between related agencies, active community participation in the management of flats, and simplification of administrative procedures by the government. More effective implementation is expected to provide better legal certainty and create a harmonious residential environment in Kampung Utama Batam City.

Forest and land fires are a serious problem that has a negative impact on the environment and the economy, especially in the Riau Islands region, including Bintan Regency. The background of this research is the high frequency of forest fires that cause ecosystem damage, air pollution, and significant economic losses. This study aims to analyze the forest and land fire prevention and law enforcement strategies that have been implemented and identify obstacles in their implementation. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with law enforcement officials, forestry officers, and local communities, as well as analysis of documents related to forest fires in Bintan over the past few years. In addition, questionnaires were also distributed to get a broader perspective on the effectiveness of existing strategies. The results of the study show that although there have been various prevention efforts such as routine patrols, socialization, and the installation of prohibition signs, the effectiveness is still not optimal. The main obstacles identified include limited resources, lack of community participation, difficulty in identifying perpetrators, hard-to-reach terrain, and pressure from certain parties. The lack of resources such as personnel and equipment, as well as the low level of public awareness and participation in forest fire prevention, are the main factors hindering the effectiveness of these strategies. In addition, pressure from landowners or influential parties often hinders firm and fair law enforcement. Suggestions for improving the effectiveness of prevention and enforcement strategies include increasing the budget and capacity of officers, the use of advanced technology for monitoring and investigation, and education and empowerment of local communities. In addition, there is a need for increased coordination between agencies and legal protection for officers who face pressure in carrying out their duties. With a comprehensive and inclusive approach, it is hoped that forest and land fires in Bintan can be minimized, so that a more sustainable environment and a stable economy can be realized

This study explores the effect of Islamic microfinance on empowering rural communities through environmentally sustainable business practices. Rural areas often face significant financial exclusion, with limited access to ethical financial services, particularly for eco-friendly enterprises. Islamic microfinance, grounded in Sharia principles such as risk-sharing, ethical investment, and the prohibition of interest (riba), offers an alternative financing model that can potentially foster both economic and environmental sustainability. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of Islamic microfinance on rural communities, focusing on income growth, the adoption of environmentally sustainable business practices, and social empowerment. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines field surveys and interviews with beneficiaries of Islamic microfinance institutions (IMFIs) in rural areas. Data collection tools included questionnaires, focus group discussions, and institutional reports. Key findings reveal that participants in Islamic microfinance programs experienced significant income growth, an increase in environmentally friendly entrepreneurship (e.g., organic farming and recycling businesses), and enhanced community participation and self-reliance. The discussion highlights how Sharia principles encourage ethical investment and sustainable practices, contributing to a triple-bottom-line impact—economic, social, and environmental. However, challenges such as limited awareness, lack of green finance literacy, and regulatory constraints were identified. A comparison between Islamic and conventional microfinance outcomes showed that Islamic microfinance offers a distinct advantage by integrating moral, social, and ecological responsibilities. The study concludes that Islamic microfinance can serve as a transformative tool for rural development, offering solutions to both economic and environmental challenges. The research underscores the need for supportive policy frameworks and further investigation into the long-term impacts of green Islamic finance.
