. Phlebitis is the area of skin around an intravascular catheter that is swollen, red, hot and painful. The aim of this research is to find out how nurses prevent phlebitis in patients. For this research, the design used is descriptive. The population consisted of all inpatients who were placed on an IV by a nurse in the emergency room and then admitted to the hospital. Data was collected using probability sampling techniques using the Slovin formula for 69 samples, using checklists and observation sheets, and analyzed using frequency distribution. The results of research conducted on 69 nurses in the Thamrin Medan inpatient room showed that there was an increase in the actions of respondents before the training was carried out. The majority had "bad" actions, namely 39 people (65.5%), 30 people (43.5%) had "good" actions. %). After the phlebitis prevention training was carried out, the results showed that those with "bad" actions decreased to 24 people (34.8%) and those with "good" actions increased to 45 people (65.2%). The results of the study showed that nurses' actions in preventing phlebitis averaged a score of 8, a minimum score of 4 and a maximum score of 10. This happened because the majority of nurses had taken action to prevent nosocomial infections well, so it was seen that there was a change in nurses' behavior before and after after training in phlebitis prevention at Bunda Thamrin Hospital, Medan.    

Healthy skin is necessary for the body to provide active protection against changes in the environment. In order to preserve skin moisture and give protection from ultraviolet (UV) light, a healthy stratum corneum is mandatory. Several skin disease, including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, ichthiosis, and psoriasis, are associated with anomalies in stratum corneum hydration. Meanwhile, erythema, photosensitivity, and skin cancer can all result from prolonged exposure to UV radiation. This study were done withis a cross sectional with non-random consecutive sampling. The parameters taken in this study include demographic (age and gender), skin moisture / moist (%) and sun damage / UV Damage (%). Thirty adolescents between 12-18 years were included in the study (20 male (66,7%), vs 10 female (33,3%). The mean facial moisture was 63.6 (± 14.72)%, and sun damage was 31.53 (±14.47)%. These data suggest that dry skin and UV skin damage can happen to anyone including teenagers. Therefore it is essential to maintain the skin moisture and protect it from UV radiation, to obtain healthy skin and prevent associated skin problems.

A stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain stops suddenly, thereby blocking the supply of oxygen, which is a vital necessity for the brain, causing a decrease in normal brain function. Cases of stroke need to be handled by the patient's family quickly and precisely so that the patient gets help according to the condition of the stroke he is experiencing. Based on this, a study is needed related to nursing care for stroke patients. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a case study approach that is carried out on the pattern of nursing care in stroke patients. From the research results obtained from patients, namely patients complaining of no appetite, difficulty lifting the left leg and difficulty speaking. There are 3 nursing problems that arise in patients, namely nutritional imbalances less than body requirements, impaired physical mobility and, impaired verbal communication. This is based on the results of interviews and observations found due to lack of knowledge of the patient's family on how to treat stroke patients.

Flooding is a problem that still requires special attention from a number of parties, including the community and the government. Flooding is not a light matter. Flooding can occur due to rising water levels due to above-average rainfall, temperature changes, levees or dams bursting, or obstruction of water flow elsewhere. The lack of community management and preparedness for disasters is one of the causes of the high impact of post-disaster damage or loss, so disaster mitigation is needed as an effort to reduce disaster risk. The research aims to analyze public knowledge about flood mitigation and preparedness. This study used qualitative research methods with the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. It was found that among several questions in the interview that the author asked about flood management knowledge and preparedness in flood disaster mitigation, all informants responded and acted very well. From the research conducted, all informants expect attention from the government to make improvements to the drainage system again and make new drainage. And the author hopes that the arrangement of residential areas on the banks of the river will be carried out to overcome floods that often hit the Kampung Baru area, Medan Maimun District.

The socialization method was carried out on health promotion in the abdimas scientific forum activities with the theme "Media Posters for Health Promotion Disposing of Good and Correct Garbage for Environment-Based Disease Control" using poster media for ± 15 minutes followed by questions and answers, posting posters in each resident's trash can, monitoring and evaluation. The results obtained from this study were changes in the behavior of participants about how to dispose of waste properly and correctly, thus increasing public awareness of how important it is if we dispose of waste properly and correctly so that we can control environmental-based diseases.

Introduction : Pain in labor is pain due to uterine contractions which can lead to increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system, changes in blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and if not treated it will increase feelings of worry, tension, fear and stress. Warm and cold water compress therapy is a non-pharmacological method to meet the need for comfort and to treat pain. Objective : to determine the effectiveness of giving warm and cold compresses to reduce pain in active phase 1 infartu mothers at RSIA Siti Khadidjah Aisyiyah, Gorontalo city. Research Methods : One group of subjects will be used in this study with a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pre-post test strategy to determine cause and effect. Before the intervention, the subject group was monitored, and then after the intervention. Mothers who were in the early phase of the active phase of physiological labor in the VK room of RSIA Siti Khadijah Aisyiyah, Gorontalo City, were used as research subjects. Research Results : The results of this study found acute pain in the four patients, it was found that 2 patients were given warm water compresses, the pain level decreased to a pain scale of 4 (moderate) and in the administration of cold water compresses to 2 patients, the pain level decreased to a pain scale of 6 and 5 (currently). Conclusion : the conclusion of this study is seen from the level of pain that has decreased when given warm water or cold water compresses. Hot and cold compress therapy is a non-pharmacological method to treat pain.

Introduction: A woman experiences pregnancy, which lasts from the moment of conception (fertilization) until the baby is born. This process produces physical, psychological, environmental, socio-cultural, and economic changes that affect the body, mind, and society. Pregnant women often experience nausea and vomiting (Emesis Gravidarum), especially in the first trimester of pregnancy.Objective : To determine the effect of giving lavender aromatherapy in reducing the frequency of nausea and vomiting before and after being given lavender aromatherapy to pregnant women in the first trimester. Research Method: This pre-experimental research design used a responsive pre-post test because it only involved one group of subjects. The subject's body was detected before the intervention was carried out, then detected again after the intervention was carried out. The subjects used in this study were pregnant women who experienced hyperemesis gravidarum in the first trimester of pregnancy. Results: It is known that Clients 1 and 2 experience nausea and vomiting more often than four times a day before receiving lavender aromatherapy. For Client 1, the frequency of nausea and vomiting was found to decrease after receiving lavender aromatherapy for three consecutive days, and the client did not experience nausea or vomiting at all. For Client 2 there was no change in giving lavender aromatherapy because the client continued to experience nausea and vomiting with a frequency of about 2 times per day. Conclusion: the overall evaluation results showed that one of the clients used non-pharmacological techniques and received lavender aromatherapy which caused a decrease in nausea, while the other clients who received lavender aromatherapy continued to experience nausea and vomiting. about twice a day vomiting.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have a significant role for the welfare of society. The purpose of this activity is to improve aspects of marketing management that have an impact on increasing sales. The long-term goal of this research is to build a management model that can be practically applied by MSMEs to support productivity and business development. In general, MSMEs business management (marketing, production, HR and finance) can be implemented by providing training to MSMEs actors. In its journey, MSMEs need to be monitored intensively, to always monitor the management they are doing. SWOT analysis is the right option to help MSMEs determine marketing strategies and project changes in the business environment. SWOT analysis can evaluate Strengths, Weaknesses which include internal factors in MSMEs, Opportunities and Threats which include external factors or competitors. Based on the SWOT analysis conducted, a strategy was obtained to provide training in all aspects, given the lack of knowledge possessed by SMEs. From this study, 4 marketing strategies were obtained for MSMEs to increase competitiveness, namely the S-O Strategy for MSMEs to innovate products to strengthen competitiveness, establish product characteristics, and aggressively carry out promotions and sales by utilizing technological developments with online sales. In the W-O strategy, MSMEs are required to always pay attention to market and consumer desires, determine market targets, and improve the quality of human resources. S-T strategy, MSMEs should make a prominent feature of the product and innovate in product promotion. In the W-T strategy, MSMEs players need to determine their target market, where and who is the target for their sales and pay attention to the wishes of the market and consumers to adapt their products.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a skin inflammation in the form of chronic, recidive dermatitis, accompanied by itching, and hitting certain parts of the body, especially on the face in the baby (infantile phase) and the flexible part of the extremities (in the child phase). Atopic dermatitis often occurs in infants and children, about 50% will disappear in adolescence, but sometimes it can also persist, or even only begin to appear in adulthood. The prevalence of AD is increasing and the increase in the incidence of AD is related to a history of atopy. The etiology of AD is not known with certainty, but it is known to be caused by the interaction of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in AD. Clinically, itching and skin disorders are found according to specific morphology and distribution. Risk factors that are proven to cause and induce AD are skin barrier disorders due to FLG mutations, environmental changes, and diet. FLG mutations can damage the skin barrier function with impaired pH and maintenance of skin hydration. It is known that the causes of multifactor AD and AD cannot be cured, however, only controlled. Therefore, preventive efforts are important, where doctors need to communicate with patients and their families, provide information and education on diseases, and how to treat and prevent recurrences. This study aims to determine the application of hand-held relaxation techniques to reducing the pain scale of post-section caesarea patients at RSIA Sitti Khadijah Aisyiyah, Gorontalo City. Method : The method used is descriptive analytic with a case study approach on 4 Post sectio caesarea patients with pain at RSIA Sitti Khadijah Aisyiyah Gorontalo City which includes nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation and nursing evaluation. The process of applying this finger-held relaxation technique is carried out for 1 day. Measurement of the pain scale was carried out before and after the hand-held relaxation technique was carried out and using a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain scale measuring instrument. Result : So the results obtained before and after the relaxation technique was carried out, the pain intensity decreased. This case study shows that after finger grip relaxation was performed in patients I, II, III, and IV who experienced postoperative sectio caesarea pain, the result was a change in the pain scale from a moderate pain scale to a mild pain scale. Conslusion : There is a significant effect of the application of finger grip relaxation techniques in post op section caesarean patients for changes in pain levels.

In this study an application was designed that could assist in rating plywood suppliers using the AHP method and then using the COPRAS method. The supplier that gets the highest score after being processed using the AHP and COPRAS methods is the best supplier of plywood. Application designed in the form of a website. With this application, it can make it easier for users to choose plywood suppliers.

This study aims to examine the effect of investment opportunity set and return on assets on earnings quality with company size as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, based on predetermined criteria, there were 171 companies or 513 financial statement data as samples. The analytical method of this study uses multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS Version 25. The results show that: 1) Investment Opportunity Set has no significant effect on earnings quality, 2) Return On Assets has a significant effect on earnings quality, 3) company size cannot moderate the effect of investment opportunity set on earnings quality, 4) company size can moderate the effect of return on assets on earnings quality. Future research namely being able to change the category of companies used as research samples, for example companies in the trade, service and investment sector or other companies, can conduct research with a period of more than 3 years, because the larger the number of research samples is expected to produce more accurate data, researchers can add or use other independent variables that can significantly affect earnings quality such as liquidity, leverage, profit growth, dividend policy, accounting conservatism and etc., and it is expected to be able to use other moderating variables which are thought to have more influence
