This study aims to analyze interest rate risk management in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that use People's Business Credit (KUR) facilities, with a case study at the Kari Water Drinking Water Depot in Kulim District, Pekanbaru City. Fluctuations in interest rates are one of the financial risks that can affect the continuity of MSME businesses, especially in terms of the ability to pay credit obligations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Kari Water Depot faces financial risks due to interest rate fluctuations, operational risks related to water distribution and quality, and legal risks due to drinking water quality regulations. The application of risk management based on ISO 31000 has been proven to help in the process of systematic risk identification, analysis, and mitigation. The mitigation strategy through investment in Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology is considered effective because it can improve product quality and operational efficiency. However, the success of this strategy is greatly influenced by the readiness of human resources, access to financing, and mature risk planning. This study recommends the importance of risk management training for MSMEs and policy support in the form of access to affordable funding and environmentally friendly technology to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs amidst economic dynamics.

The rapid growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tabanan Regency has been driven by economic development, digitalization, and changes in consumer behavior following the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the continuous increase in the number of MSMEs each year, business owners face significant challenges, such as limited adoption of digital technologies, increasing market competition, and restricted access to working capital. This study aims to analyze the effect of QRIS usage, e-commerce, and capital on MSME income both simultaneously and partially in Tabanan Regency. A quantitative method was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample was determined using a non-probability sampling method with an accidental sampling approach. The results show that QRIS, e-commerce, and capital simultaneously have a significant effect on MSME income in Tabanan Regency. Partially, QRIS usage and capital have a positive and significant effect on income, while e-commerce does not have a significant partial effect. This indicates that although e-commerce can expand market reach, intense competition and limited technological literacy among the local population hinder its impact on MSME income in the region.

Macroeconomic uncertainty poses a structural challenge for the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Fluctuations in inflation, benchmark interest rates, and exchange rates have a direct impact on liquidity, cost structures, and investment decisions. This study aims to explore the types of financial strategies adopted by MSMEs in response to macroeconomic pressures using a systematic literature review and secondary data analysis covering the period from 2019 to May 2024. Data were sourced from official national institutions, including the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, as well as relevant academic literature. The findings reveal that MSME financial strategies can be categorized into three key domains: cash management, cost control, and investment planning. MSMEs employing flexible strategies—such as increasing cash buffers, reducing operational costs, and diversifying products or financing sources—demonstrate higher resilience in the face of economic volatility. This study contributes theoretically by enriching the framework of financial adaptation for MSMEs and practically by informing financial literacy programs and policy design. The study also acknowledges limitations in the use of aggregate secondary data and recommends that future research adopt a mixed-method approach to capture undocumented informal financial practices at the grassroots level

In the digital economy era, financial transparency has become a critical aspect for the sustainability and credibility of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Despite their substantial contribution to employment and economic growth, many MSMEs in Indonesia still rely on manual accounting systems, which limit the accuracy and traceability of financial reporting. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of cloud-based accounting automation on financial transparency among Indonesian MSMEs. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research collected quantitative data from 120 MSME respondents in Jakarta and West Java through structured questionnaires and qualitative data from six key informants through semi-structured interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using simple linear regression, resulting in a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.513 and a beta coefficient of 0.598 (p = 0.000), indicating a strong and significant influence of accounting automation on financial transparency. Qualitative findings also revealed improvements in real-time access, reporting accuracy, and transaction traceability. The study confirms that cloud-based digital accounting systems enhance financial transparency by enabling automated integration, audit trails, and timely reporting. These findings contribute to the literature on digital transformation in MSMEs and offer practical implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and software providers to accelerate technology adoption and improve financial governance in the MSME sector.

This research is motivated by problems in the implementation of the strategy of the Ciamis Regency Small and Medium Business Cooperative Office in the development of Micro and Medium Small Enterprises in Kujang Village, Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive with a causative approach. Primary data is sourced from the results of interviews with 6 selected informants who are relevant to the problem. Secondary data is sourced from documents, books, journals, reports, and legislation. Data collection was carried out based on interviews, observations, and documentation with data analysis techniques through data reduction, data triangulation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the MSME development strategy through digital platforms has not been running optimally. Obstacles occur in the lack of communication, active participation of MSME actors in policy formulation, mentoring activities, facilitation, evaluation, and programs that are still top-down.  Efforts to overcome obstacles are to increase the initiative of MSME actors in learning independently through digital media such as YouTube, and TikTok through e-commerce. The Kujang village government supports the implementation of training and facilitation if it is involved by the relevant agencies. The Cooperative Office, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade is improving its strategy through further collaboration with village governments that have not received attention, especially Kujang village MSMEs in participating, mentoring, coaching, and facilitating.

Next, the Measure stage is conducted to assess process performance using quality indicators. The calculation results show a Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO) value of 10,968.95 and a Sigma Level of 3.79, indicating room for improvement. The Analyze stage utilizes Pareto and Fishbone diagrams to identify root causes. The Improve stage applies Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to determine improvement priorities. The Control stage involves the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), regular inspections, and an incentive system. This approach is expected to reduce defect rates and sustainably improve production efficiency.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) revenues are affected by various factors that determine business continuity and the welfare of their owners. This study aims to analyze, both simultaneously and partially, the effects of e-commerce usage, business experience, and industrial agglomeration on the revenues of fashion-sector MSMEs in Denpasar City. A total of 100 fashion MSME operators were sampled, and the data were analyzed via multiple linear regression using SPSS 26. The resulting coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.684, indicating that e-commerce usage (X₁), business experience (X₂), and industrial agglomeration (X₃) collectively explain 68.4% of the variance in MSME revenue (Y), with the remaining 31.6% attributable to factors beyond this study. The analysis shows that, together, the three independent variables significantly affect MSME revenues; separately, each—e-commerce usage, business experience, and industrial agglomeration—exerts a positive and significant impact on the revenues of fashion-sector MSMEs in Denpasar.
