Introduction: Stunting remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, including in Blang Teue Village, North Aceh, where the prevalence of children at risk of stunting reaches 28% (Public Health Center, 2023). The main contributing factors are mothers’ limited knowledge of locally sourced complementary feeding (MP-ASI) and restricted access to nutrition education media. This community service program aimed to empower the community by developing QR Code-based interactive educational posters as an accessible and user-friendly nutrition learning tool. Methods : The method employed was Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving 30 respondents (mothers of toddlers), health cadres, village officials, lecturers, and students. Results : The results indicated a significant improvement in mothers’ knowledge regarding local MP-ASI, where the percentage of respondents with high knowledge increased from 20% to 67% after the intervention. Utilization of QR Code media was also high, with 60% of respondents accessing it intensively, and a positive relationship was found between the intensity of media utilization and knowledge level (83% of high-intensity users achieved high knowledge). Conclusion : This program not only enhanced community knowledge and skills but also fostered the emergence of local leaders from health cadres and PKK members, as well as promoted social transformation through strengthened digital literacy and the use of local food in stunting prevention.

Village entrepreneurship is an initiative designed to stimulate regional economic growth by accelerating the development of rural areas, which have long been perceived as slow, less productive, and lagging behind urban centers. The creation of entrepreneurial villages offers a concrete strategy to enhance community productivity because it encourages all components of the village government, residents, and local institutions to participate in structured and collaborative entrepreneurial activities. Such villages are expected to generate new economic opportunities, strengthen local industries, and increase community independence. However, initial observations from this Community Service program show that partner villages still face significant barriers, including limited land area, geographical remoteness, and inadequate human and natural resources. Many peripheral villages have not yet utilized digital technology effectively, making it difficult to expand markets or access broader economic networks. In addition, challenges related to financial access, limited talent development, socio-cultural constraints, and weak market infrastructure continue to hinder economic progress. These conditions demonstrate the urgent need for strategic assistance, capacity-building programs, and stronger support systems to help villages transform into sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems capable of contributing to long-term regional development.

Infections caused by pathogenic microorganisms remain a major health challenge. One preventive promotive effort to reduce infection incidence is through the use of traditional medicinal plants, such as celery (Apium graveolens L.) which is known to have antimicrobial activity. This community service program aimed to increase the knowledge of PKK cadres in Klender Urban Village regarding the antimicrobial benefits of celery through educational outreach. The activity was held on June 12, 2025, involving 14 PKK cadres as participants. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaires, analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significance value of 0.002 (p<0.05), indicating a significant increase in knowledge after the intervention. The average percentage of correct answer increased by 37.2%. Additionally, all of participants demonstrated  good knowledge levels in the post-test and none were in the poor category. These findings indicate that education through outreach is effective in improving community understanding of celery’s antimicrobial potential. Local plant-based education is expected to be a sustainable preventive strategy to improve public health. Keywords: education, celery, antimicrobial, knowledge PKK cadres

Introduction: Conditions in Indonesia based on data from the 2019 Nutrition Status Study of Toddlers in Indonesia (SSGBI) are still relatively high, where the prevalence of stunting is 27.67%. The GADHIES model aims to clarify and facilitate work steps in carrying out health promotion and can complement the shortcomings of each of these models. The purpose of this service is to improve the competence of village midwives in health promotion by empowering the community to use local ingredients in making healthy and nutritious food as an effort to prevent stunting, as well as increase public awareness of the dangers of stunting in children. Method: The implementation of this activity goes through three stages of activities, namely planning, implementation and monitoring evaluation. During the planning, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) began first between the PKM team, the Puskesmas and village midwives. The implementation of the gadhies model health promotion model training for stunting prevention was carried out for 2 days which was attended by 15 village midwives, with 3 resource persons, lecture methods and interactive discussions using power point media, gadhies model posters, gadhies health promotion pocket books, and also the Gadhies Model Training Module. After carrying out this training activity, the team conducted monitoring and evaluation to see the improvement of midwives' competence on the gadhies model health promotion method. Results: There was a significant increase in midwife's competence in health promotion from 2 (13.3%) during the pretest to 14 (93.3%) during the posttest. There was a significant increase in maternal satisfaction with health promotion services by midwives from 4 (26.7%) to 15 (100%) after midwives received health promotion training on the Gadhies model.

Karangtalun Village, located in Kalidawir District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java, has significant potential for developing Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) to support community-based health practices. However, the utilization of TOGA in daily health care remains limited due to a lack of knowledge and practical skills among residents. At the same time, the community faces a growing social challenge—digital exposure among young children, which negatively affects their physical, psychological, and social well-being. To address these issues, a capacity-building program was implemented for women involved in the Integrated Guidance Post (Posbindu) through training on TOGA cultivation and digital literacy education using the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach. This participatory model actively engaged community members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The program results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of TOGA as an alternative for self-care and traditional medicine, greater awareness of the adverse effects of excessive gadget use among children, and positive behavioral changes in parenting, such as setting screen-time limits and replacing gadget use with creative family activities. These findings demonstrate that integrating local wisdom–based education with digital literacy can effectively strengthen family resilience and promote sustainable well-being in the digital era.

This study explores the Village Cross as a symbol of inculturation, integrating Catholic faith with the Nosu Minu Podi ritual in Dusun Perintis, Balai Sebut Village, Sanggau Regency. Nosu Minu Podi, a post-harvest rice ritual, originally centered on the ancestral statue (Pantak) as the main focus of worship. The introduction of Catholicism led to a symbolic transformation, replacing the Pantak with the Village Cross while maintaining ancestral values and harmonizing them with Catholic practices. This research uses a qualitative approach combining ethnography and contextual theology. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and field documentation. Findings reveal that the Village Cross serves dual functions: as a religious symbol affirming God’s presence and spiritual protection, and as a marker of social and cultural identity. This transformation strengthens community solidarity, preserves traditional practices, and provides a medium for faith formation among youth. The study highlights that inculturation enables the integration of local traditions with religious teachings, creating space for contextual, inclusive, and practical pastoral approaches. It contributes to scholarly understanding of the interplay between religion, culture, and community identity, emphasizing the enduring relevance of local wisdom in contemporary religious practice.

This study explores the implementation of sustainable accounting practices in the management of Pasir Panjang coastal tourism by examining how local cultural values and community personality influence sustainability-driven decisions. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis involving local community members, tourism actors, and village government representatives. The findings indicate that sustainable accounting is not only understood as an administrative or financial reporting system, but also as a framework shaped by cultural norms, collective identity, and local wisdom. Elements such as communal responsibility, environmental awareness, and traditional stewardship practices significantly contribute to how sustainability initiatives are planned, recorded, and evaluated. Furthermore, the personality traits of the local community—such as openness, cooperation, and strong social cohesion—play an essential role in ensuring inclusive participation and shared accountability. This study concludes that integrating cultural values and community character enhances the effectiveness of sustainable accounting practices in coastal tourism management and encourages long-term environmental and socio-economic resilience.

This study aims to analyze the level of flood hazard in Baturaja Barat District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, by applying a spatial approach using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through the overlay method. The analysis was carried out by integrating six main physical parameters, namely rainfall, land use, elevation, slope, river density, and soil type. Each parameter was assigned a score and weight according to its influence on flood potential and subsequently processed spatially to produce a flood hazard map. The results indicate that the Baturaja Barat District area is classified into three hazard levels: low (3.25%), moderate (70.64%), and high (25.84%). Areas with high hazard levels are predominantly characterized by densely populated settlements situated at low elevations and in close proximity to river networks, particularly in Tanjung Karang, Air Gading, Talang Jawa, Karang Agung, and surrounding villages. These findings highlight that land-use changes, topographic conditions, and the distribution of river networks play significant roles in increasing flood risk. The results of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for spatial planning, the strengthening of disaster mitigation policies, and the enhancement of community preparedness against flood hazards in the region.

This community‑engagement study aimed to revitalize the Qur’anic ecosystem in Sempu Village (Ngancar District, Kediri Regency) by fostering inter‑generational synergy—among families, youth communities, and TPQ (Qur’an Study Groups)—using an asset‑based community development (ABCD) approach. The program identified and mobilised local assets such as TPQ students/alumni, active youth, community leaders, mosque/TPQ facilities, and locally established networks to strengthen Qur’an mentoring with a psycho‑spiritual dimension. The research employed a qualitative intervention method executed in three phases: asset mapping & diagnosis; design & implementation of the intervention; and program evaluation & reflection. Results indicated that youth attendance increased from 45 % to 78 %; the number of participating families rose from 18 to 32; and 90 % of TPQ administrators expressed the intention to continue the inter‑generational forum model on a regular basis. Discussion revealed that the intervention did more than improve attendance—it reinforced a sense of ownership, social connectedness, and internalization of Qur’anic values (spiritual well‑being). The psycho‑spiritual approach proved effective in strengthening youth identity and building a sustainable Qur’anic community culture. Limitations include the short duration of the intervention (12 weeks) and persistent communication barriers between generations related to time constraints and family workloads. Recommendations include conducting long‑term measurements, adapting the mentoring modules to accommodate family/youth time issues, and replicating the model in other villages with different characteristics.

In this Community Service Program (KKN) activity, the main goal is to strengthen social solidarity among the residents through the celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day in Penagan Ratu Village. Social solidarity is one of the key factors in maintaining harmony and togetherness within the community. However, in today’s modern era, the spirit of cooperation and mutual assistance tends to decline due to individualism and people’s busy daily routines. Therefore, the Independence Day celebration serves as a strategic moment to revive the sense of brotherhood, unity, and social awareness among the villagers. This program was carried out with the active participation of all community members, including village officials, youth organizations (karang taruna), women’s groups, children, and teenagers. Various activities were conducted such as community clean-up (kerja bakti), traditional games, art performances, and a local MSME (UMKM) bazaar. The implementation method was participatory, emphasizing the active involvement of the community in every stage. The results of the program showed a high level of community participation, stronger social bonds, and an increase in the spirit of mutual cooperation. Moreover, the event brought a positive impact through the empowerment of local MSMEs. Thus, the Independence Day celebration was not merely ceremonial, but also served as an effective medium to strengthen social solidarity, fostering a more cohesive, respectful, and socially aware community in Penagan Ratu Village.
