The concept of the smart city has emerged as a strategic response to rapid urbanization, increasing population density, and escalating environmental degradation. It is designed to create more efficient urban management through the integration of information and communication technologies, with the primary goal of enhancing public services, optimizing resource use, and improving citizens’ quality of life. One of its most significant promises is its potential to mitigate ecological challenges, particularly in monitoring and reducing air pollution levels. This study aims to analyze the impact of smart city implementation on urban ecology and quality of life, focusing on air quality as a key indicator. A quantitative comparative approach was applied, using both primary data from air quality measurements PM2.5, CO₂, NO₂, and AQI and secondary data from government reports, environmental agencies, and academic publications. The research was conducted in five major Asian cities recognized for adopting smart city initiatives. The results reveal varied outcomes: Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur demonstrated substantial improvements in air quality and livability, while Beijing and New Delhi continued to struggle with severe pollution. Jakarta showed partial progress, though improvements remain limited. These findings indicate that while technology is critical, it alone does not ensure ecological sustainability. Effective governance, public participation, and context-based strategies are equally crucial. This study highlights the need for smart city policies to prioritize ecological resilience and human well-being as central elements of sustainable urban development.

The risk society, also known as the Risk Society, is a term associated with the famous sociologist Ulrich Beck. According to him, we are still in a new era, even in a new form of modernity. There are still many sociological publications that still refer to the main idea of a risk society. The concept of uncertainty follows a societal perspective that develops through a narrow perspective of the risk society regarding environmental hazards. The role of technology is often underexplained in sociological theory. So that technological risk is not taken into account in Beck's risk community concept. There are three basic characteristics that overlap from the first modernity in pursuing society of risk as an important concept. Disaster is an event or phenomenon that has the potential to cause damage resulting in loss of life and cause destruction of property. There are three types of disasters according to their causes. In risk research on sociological discourse, media and communication play a role in the construction of risks that get recognition about risks. Disaster management can be understood as a set of policies to make efforts related to disasters before, during and after a disaster, which include prevention, mitigation, preparedness, emergency response, healing and repair through appropriate and effective organizing activities. This can be criticized in two ways, namely, in terms of studies regarding the perspective of a socio-cultural approach to a risk and surveys regarding general risk awareness.

Pharmaceutical preparations is a term that covers all forms of pharmaceutical preparations ranging from drugs, medicinal ingredients, traditional medicines to cosmetics. This term has been regulated in Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2009 concerning Pharmaceutical Work. Management of pharmaceutical preparations is a cycle of activities starting from the selection, scheduling needs, receiving, storage, distribution, destruction and withdrawal, control, which is necessary for pharmaceutical service activities. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of ten national journals which were obtained using online database facilities via the Google Scholar, Refseek, and Sciencegate pages. Journals were selected based on publications published between 2018 and 2023. There were obstacles in the implementation of pharmaceutical preparations, including planning that was still conservative, from delays in drug procurement in demand and distribution, resulting in empty drug supplies. However, not all aspects are problematic. There are many other aspects of the mechanism of pharmaceutical preparation that are carefully programmed and procedurally appropriate. This matter needs to be done routinely and continuously, and with written commitments for pharmaceutical preparations in Indonesia in supporting SKN it can be categorized as quite good.

Background: Lower back pain (NPB) Ischialgia is a pinched ischialgia nerve in the lower back area which causes the buttocks, thighs, lower legs and even feet to become tingling, painful, and sometimes causing weakness. Nerve mobilization is a manipulation technique by moving and stretching nerve tissue to increase axonal transportation so that it can improve nerve conduction. Nerve mobilization can reduce the pressure in the nerves so that there is an increase in blood flow to the nerves, which can have a regenerative and healing effect on injured nerves (Butler, 1991). Nerve mobilization is often used as a form of diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions with nerve involvement (Butler, 1991). Nerve mobilization in the Lower Limb Tension Test (LLTT) is carried out at the branches of the Brachial plexus such as the radial nerve, median nerve and ulnar nerve. But here the author only discusses LLTT in the ishiadic nerve, namely LLTT 1 which is related to lower back pain. The aim is to determine physiotherapy management and the effect of Ultrasoundtherapy therapy and nerve mobilization using the LLTT 1 method in cases of lower back pain on reducing pain and increasing the functional ability of the hand. Two group pre test and post test method. RESEARCH PLACE: Physiotherapy clinic, RSU Sidoarjo. TIME: Measuring instrument: Visual Analouge Scale (VAS). Results: treatment using the Mann-Whtney test. With confidence interval (CI) (95%) The results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference in pain in group 1 (p = 0.00) and group 2 (p = 0.00). But there was no significant difference between the two groups in pain improvement (p = 0.152), so there was no better treatment between the two groups. Conclusion: It is concluded that ULTT is useful in treating CTS patients to reduce pain in two groups. The targeted outcomes are publications in national journals indexed by Sinta and HAKI. The TKT target for implementing this gamelan accompaniment exercise is level 2.
