The development of the modern world, characterized by advances in digital technology, globalization, and complex social dynamics, has created new challenges in child-rearing practices, particularly for Muslim families. Children require not only the fulfillment of physical needs and formal education, but also balanced emotional, social, and spiritual support. This study aims to examine the concept of child-rearing based on love and compassion from the perspective of Islamic psychology, identify the core principles of Islamic parenting, and explain its implications for children’s psychological development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method with a systematic literature review design. Data sources were obtained from academic books as well as nationally accredited journals and reputable international journals published between 2020 and 2024. The data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis to identify patterns, key concepts, and relationships among variables. The findings indicate that parenting grounded in love and compassion (rahmah), combined with role modeling, justice, and wisdom in discipline, contributes positively to children’s emotional, social, moral, and spiritual development. Warm and responsive Islamic parenting supports the development of effective emotional regulation, prosocial behavior, and the internalization of faith-based and moral values in children. The results also demonstrate a strong alignment between Islamic parenting concepts and the compassionate parenting approach in modern psychology, with Islamic psychology offering a distinctive strength in its spiritual dimension. This study contributes to the reinforcement of the theoretical framework of Islamic psychology and provides practical recommendations for parents and educators in implementing balanced parenting that integrates compassion, discipline, and Islamic values in the modern era.

Academic stress has become a significant psychological issue among university students, particularly during periods of high academic pressure such as examinations, intensive coursework, and academic performance demands. Excessive academic stress may negatively affect students’ psychological well-being, learning motivation, and academic performance. This study aims to explore in depth the experiences of academic stress and psychological responses among students during periods of high academic pressure. A qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological perspective was employed to capture students’ lived experiences. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with six student participants selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, involving open, axial, and selective coding to identify emerging themes. The findings reveal that the main sources of academic stress include excessive academic workload, time management difficulties, high self-expectations, and external academic pressures. Students experienced varying levels of stress ranging from mild to severe, manifested through psychological responses such as anxiety, emotional instability, mental fatigue, decreased concentration, and reduced motivation. The study also found that students applied diverse coping strategies, including adaptive strategies such as time management, seeking social support, and self-reflection, as well as maladaptive strategies such as procrastination and emotional withdrawal. These findings highlight that academic stress is a complex and subjective experience influenced by individual perceptions and coping capacities. This research aims to analyze the criminal liability of perpetrators of fraud through bounced checks and the legal protection provided to victims. The study focuses on Decision Number 1698/Pid.B/2022/PN Sby, in which the defendant was found guilty of fraud under Article 378 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP). Using a normative juridical approach through literature study with statutory and conceptual approaches, the findings demonstrate that the panel of judges correctly applied the elements of fraud, including malicious intent (mens rea), the use of deception or a series of lies, and actual loss suffered by the victim. The judge's legal considerations have reflected the principles of legality, justice, and legal certainty in criminal law. Legal protection for victims can be pursued through both criminal and civil legal remedies, where victims may report to police for criminal prosecution under Article 378 KUHP and claim compensation through civil breach of contract lawsuits. Law enforcement against perpetrators is carried out through repressive and preventive criminal sanctions. This decision confirms that bounced check fraud is not merely a civil breach of contract but can be classified as a criminal offense when accompanied by malicious intent to deceive others.

The Ten Scholars per Village Scholarship Program (SESAR) is an initiative of the Bojonegoro Regency Government to expand access to higher education for rural communities. This study evaluates the implementation of the program using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The evaluation was conducted through interviews, document analysis, observations, and information from program implementers to assess policy relevance, resource readiness, process quality, and achieved outcomes. The results indicate that the program is relevant to the goal of educational equity; however, the distribution of beneficiaries has not been even due to differences in the number of applicants and socio-economic conditions among villages. In terms of context, the program aligns with the need for equitable access to higher education, although beneficiary distribution remains uneven. From the input perspective, regulations and funding are adequate, but administrative requirements and higher education accreditation criteria still limit potential applicants. Regarding the process, the selection mechanism follows the established guidelines; nevertheless, socialization remains insufficient, document verification poses challenges, and fund disbursement is often delayed. In the product aspect, the program provides tangible benefits by supporting the continuity of higher education for rural students, although its overall effectiveness still requires improvement.

This study aims to analyze the role of internet technology in enhancing the competitiveness of ebusiness in Indonesia, particularly in the sector of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Based on theoretical reviews, internet technology, e-business, technology adoption (TAM), and the concept of competitiveness serve as the main foundations for understanding the ongoing digital transformation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique, involving five informants consisting of digital SME owners, online store managers, and users of service platforms. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the internet plays a crucial role as an essential infrastructure that enhances marketing effectiveness, expands market reach, and improves operational efficiency. Marketplaces, social media, and delivery-service platforms contribute significantly to sales growth and service quality. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, platform commission fees, changes in social media algorithms, and uneven infrastructure development still limit optimal utilization. From a policy perspective, the study recommends strengthening digital infrastructure and improving national digital literacy. This research emphasizes that the success of e-business depends on technology access, human resource competence, and support through public policy. It can be concluded that internet technology serves as a vital foundation for e-business competitiveness in the digital era.

This study is entitled Nahwu and Shorof as Sciences in the Ontological Perspective within the Realm of Philosophy. The purpose of this research is to examine the essence of nahwu and shorof not merely as technical tools for understanding the Arabic language, but also as scientific entities that possess ontological dimensions in philosophy. Nahwu is understood as the science that regulates the arrangement of words within sentences, while shorof functions to form and transform words according to specific patterns. From an ontological perspective, both are not simply linguistic instruments, but rather representations of the structure and form of linguistic reality that reflect the orderliness of human thought. The analysis demonstrates that nahwu and shorof play a fundamental role in preserving the integrity of meaning in Arabic texts, while also serving as a means to comprehend the essence of language as a living and dynamic entity. Thus, nahwu and shorof can be regarded not only as practical sciences in language learning, but also as philosophical disciplines within the ontology of knowledge, revealing the essence of form and structure of language in relation to human and societal reality.

The concept of Human Rights in the perspective of modern Islamic law according to Abdullah Ahmed An-Naim emphasizes the importance of prioritizing humanitarian values as a central part of Islamic law. An-Naim proposes that Islamic law needs to undergo a comprehensive reconstruction to remain in line with the development of the times without losing its Islamic elements. According to him, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a very important tool to maintain the dignity, honor, and rights of all individuals throughout the world. An-Naim also encourages the elimination of all forms of violence and emphasizes the importance of recognizing humans as subjects that must be valued and respected, as well as providing sufficient space for human rights values in public contexts and rejecting the application of sharia as an oppressive state law, but rather as a moral guideline that is more flexible and appropriate to the conditions of today's society.

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced the formation of contracts in civil law, particularly through the automation of clause drafting, risk analysis, and the standardization of contractual documents. The use of AI in contract drafting raises complex legal issues, especially concerning the validity of agreements and the attribution of legal liability in the event of default. This study aims to analyze the validity of contracts created through Artificial Intelligence from the perspective of Indonesian civil law and to examine models of legal liability in AI-based contracts. This research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches, examining the provisions of the Indonesian Civil Code, particularly Article 1320, as well as legal doctrines and scholarly perspectives on digital contracts and AI. The findings indicate that AI-based contracts are, in principle, legally valid as long as they fulfill the requirements of a valid agreement, namely the consent of the parties, legal capacity, a specific object, and a lawful cause. Artificial Intelligence cannot be positioned as a legal subject because it lacks intent, consciousness, and the capacity to bear rights and obligations, and therefore functions solely as a technological tool. Consequently, legal intent and liability remain attached to the human or legal entity that uses, controls, or benefits from AI. This study also emphasizes that the primary challenge of AI-based contracts lies in the absence of specific legal regulations governing the allocation of liability among AI users, system providers, and developers, particularly when default occurs due to algorithmic errors or system failures. Therefore, clearer, adaptive, and comprehensive regulations are required to ensure legal certainty, protect the parties involved, and maintain a balance between technological innovation and the principles of justice in AI-based contractual practices in Indonesia.

This article examines the concept of science from Western and Islamic perspectives, emphasizing the understanding, objects of study, goals, and uses of science in human life. This study is motivated by the differences in scientific paradigms between the modern Western tradition, which developed on the basis of rationality, empiricism, and the secularization of science, and the Islamic scientific tradition, which views science as an integral part of revelation, reason, and empirical reality. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature review with a descriptive-analytical and comparative approach to various classical and contemporary literary sources. The results of the study indicate that Western science tends to be anthropocentric, placing humans at the center of reality, and is oriented toward mastery of nature and the achievement of material progress. In contrast, science from an Islamic perspective is theocentric, placing God at the center of knowledge, and is directed toward achieving human well-being and a balance between this world and the afterlife. Despite these fundamental differences, both perspectives share similarities in the use of reason and empirical observation as primary instruments in the scientific process. This study is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of the philosophy of science and efforts to integrate science in the contemporary era.

This study aims to examine the concept of intellectual intelligence from the perspective of the Qur’an and its implications for the development of contemporary Islamic education. The background of this research is rooted in the tendency of modern education to emphasize rational–cognitive aspects while neglecting spiritual and moral dimensions. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, utilizing thematic analysis of Qur’anic verses, classical and contemporary tafsir works, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that intellectual intelligence in the Qur’an is understood holistically through the concepts of ‘aql, tafakkur, tadabbur, and tafaqquh, and is represented in the characteristics of ulul albab, qaum ya‘qilun, and ulul abshar. Qur’anic intellectual intelligence is not value-neutral but is integrated with God-consciousness and moral responsibility. The implications of this study emphasize the need for Islamic education to develop intellectual capacity in a critical, reflective, and value-oriented manner through dialogical learning, integrative curricula, and the role of educators as intellectual and moral facilitators. These findings reinforce the urgency of renewing the paradigm of Islamic education that balances intellect, faith, and morality.

This research aims to explore the function of the church in improving the understanding of the congregational environment through an eco-ecclesiology perspective. Eco-ecclesiology places the church as an integral part of God's creation that has a spiritual responsibility to protect, protect, and care for the environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from church ministers and congregation members. The results of the study show that the church has contributed to building concern for the environment through preaching, education, and social activities related to nature conservation. However, this role is not fully optimal because there is still limited awareness among the congregation and there is no structured and sustainable environmental program. These findings affirm the need for churches to integrate eco-ecclesiological principles more systematically into the ministry and daily life of the church. Thus, the church functions not only as a spiritual center, but also as an agent of social transformation that encourages the creation of ecological awareness and concrete actions in preserving the environment.

The phenomenon of pseudoexpertise on social media, namely the tendency to feel knowledgeable without adequate scientific grounding due to exposure to unrestricted information, has become a serious challenge for Islamic religious education. This study employs a phenomenological method through in-depth interviews with two Master's students of Islamic Education (PAI) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, who come from different social backgrounds teaching at Islamic boarding schools in rural Bogor and urban South Jakarta to obtain diverse perspectives on how social context influences the emergence of pseudoexpertise. The selection of master's-level informants is based on their academic qualifications and teaching experience, which are considered capable of providing representative insights. Secondary sources include scientific articles and relevant literature. The findings indicate that globalization and pseudoexpertise constitute obstacles that are difficult for religious teachers to control, as students acquire much of their religious knowledge from outside the school without verification. Therefore, contextual Islamic Education (PAI) learning and teachers who serve as knowledge validators through healthy communication are required, enabling students to filter information and develop more mature religious literacy.

The development of the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) is a national strategic project that has significant implications, particularly in relation to state control/domination of land.  The relocation of the national capital to the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) has become a strategic agenda of the Indonesian government, which aims to realize equitable development and a new administrative center in Indonesia (Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the National Capital) and has an impact on all aspects of the lives of indigenous peoples in the IKN Nusantara region, particularly in the field of land.  However, this project raises serious issues related to state control of land, especially in terms of the rights of the surrounding communities whose land is affected by the Development of the Central Government Area of the Capital City of Nusantara (KIPP IKN).  Land restitution is a central issue because it concerns the guarantee of human rights, particularly the right to ownership, access to land, and social justice (Satjipto Rahardjo, Hukum dan Masyarakat [Law and Society] (Bandung: Alumni, 2000).  This study analyzes how land restitution in the KIPP IKN development project is viewed from a human rights perspective, emphasizing the need for a balance between national development interests and the protection of citizens' rights.

This study examines the implementation of the Manak Salah tradition in Padang Bulia Customary Village from the perspectives of legal certainty and human rights protection. Manak Salah is a customary practice associated with the birth of opposite-sex twins, which in Balinese Hindu cosmology is considered a sacred event that may disrupt the balance between the sekala and niskala realms, thereby requiring purification rituals. Although the contemporary practice of this tradition has become more humane and no longer involves social exclusion, its regulation remains unwritten and has not been formally codified in the village’s Awig-awig (customary law). This condition creates the risk of multiple interpretations, legal uncertainty, and insufficient protection of the rights of children and affected families. This research employs an empirical juridical method with a qualitative approach, using interviews with customary leaders, field observations, and document analysis of statutory regulations and customary legal sources. The findings reveal that the absence of written norms causes the implementation of Manak Salah to rely heavily on the discretion of customary authorities, leading to potential inconsistency and normative vulnerability. This study emphasizes the urgency of codifying the Manak Salah tradition into the Awig-awig as a form of customary law reform aimed at ensuring legal certainty, strengthening institutional accountability within customary villages, and harmonizing customary law with Bali Provincial Regulation No. 4 of 2019 and fundamental human rights principles.

The purpose of this research is to find out the legal basis in the science of hadith or Islamic law and positive law related to DNA testing which is used as a strong argument for determining the legal certainty of child lineage and how to resolve the problem of child lineage in Indonesia and Islam. In the research process used is normative research and library research with a legislative approach taken from positive law and Islamic legal sources, namely the Qur'an and the hadith approach as a basis for legal theory. The resulting research study that DNA testing can resolve the uncertainty of abak lineage and DNA test results can be used as proof of determining a child's lineage to his father. In the teachings or regulations of Islamic law, there are four methods used in determining lineage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the application of the four methods, namely; al-firasy, al-iqrar, al-bayyinah, and al-Qiyafah. With the development of today's technology, the four methods have been developed through cutting-edge technology as a medium for tracing a person's lineage to obtain justice and benefit. From a positive Indonesian legal perspective, DNA testing has been recognized as a means of proving parentage. Therefore, children born as victims of rape, marriages not officially registered by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), and marriages that took place secretly (in other words, under the table) can claim their rights as children, including child support and parentage, from their father.
