Environmental ethics assumes that nature has human values that must be respected. Various forms of embedding can be done, such as the traditional Cingcowong ceremony. The Cingcowong tradition is a traditional ritual originating from the agricultural community of Luragung Landeuh Village, Kuningan Regency. This tradition is a form of collective community activity that is based on belief in supernatural spirits who are believed to have the power to bring rain to overcome drought, especially on agricultural land caused by prolonged drought. Cingcowong reflects the close relationship between culture, nature, and spiritual practices in certain societies. In the context of environmental ethics, this tradition can be seen as a form of local wisdom that shows respect for nature, an understanding of the importance of ecosystem balance, and an awareness of human dependence on weather conditions. Therefore, this tradition can be considered as a concrete manifestation of environmental ethics that encourages humans to appreciate nature more and understand the interaction between spiritual, cultural, and environmental factors.

The early growth of Coffea arabica seedlings is highly influenced by the quality of the growing medium and nutrient uptake efficiency during the nursery phase. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of local-material-based growing media formulations and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inoculation on the vegetative growth of C. arabica Lini S 795 seedlings. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with eight treatments involving combinations of soil, rice husk, fermented manure, and Glomus sp. mycorrhiza, each replicated three times. Observed parameters included plant height, leaf number, root length, root dry weight, and shoot dry weight. Results showed that the combination of soil, rice husk, manure, and mycorrhiza significantly enhanced all growth parameters compared to the control. The synergistic interaction between local organic components and biological agents improved the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the growing media, thereby optimizing root and shoot development. These findings suggest that integrating locally available organic materials with mycorrhizal inoculants offers an effective, eco-friendly, and sustainable approach to coffee seedling cultivation, with high potential for broader field-scale application.

This study analyzes pronunciation learning activities in the English class at SDN 060877 through direct classroom observation techniques. The research aims to understand how teachers organize pronunciation instruction, the strategies applied during learning sessions, and the level of student participation in practicing correct sounds, stress patterns, and intonation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through on-site observations focusing on teaching procedures, interaction patterns, learning media, and students’ responses. The findings indicate that pronunciation learning is integrated into reading and speaking activities, where the teacher models sound, guides repetition drills, and provides corrective feedback. Students demonstrate varied levels of confidence, with some actively engaging in pronunciation tasks while others rely heavily on teacher prompts. Environmental factors, such as limited audio-media tools and large class size, affect the intensity and effectiveness of practice sessions. Despite these challenges, classroom interactions show that learners gradually improve their sound accuracy and rhythm through continuous modeling and peer practice. This study concludes that direct observation provides comprehensive insights into real classroom dynamics, revealing both the strengths and areas needing improvement in pronunciation teaching. Recommendations are offered to enhance instructional techniques, learning materials, and student engagement.

First Language Acquisition is a crucial process influenced by various language learning theories. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the application of the main L1 theories, such as Behaviorism, Nativism, and Interactionism, and to thoroughly examine the concept, utility, and identification techniques of students’ prior knowledge within the context of child language acquisition. Employing a critical analytica l literature review method, the findings indicate that L1 Acquisition is not solely explained by one theory but results from the interaction between innate endowment (LAD) and environmental input. A key finding highlights that the identification of prior knowledge, encompassing cognitive, linguistic, and social aspects, is highly functional as a basis for determining appropriate scaffolding and providing comprehensible language input. The most relevant detection techniques involve direct observation and analysis of children’s spontaneous speech. It is concluded that a holistic understanding of L1 theories and the early identification of prior knowledge is essential for educators and parents. This finding has implications for formulating personalized language development strategies, thereby optimizing children’s language potential from an early age.

The integration of language and culture plays a crucial role in shaping the complexity of human cognitive processes. Language acts not only as a means of conveying messages but also as a conceptual system that influences how individuals construct mental representations, process information, and reason. Culture, on the other hand, provides a set of values, norms, and thought patterns that shape attention, interpretation of experiences, and strategies for understanding the social world. A review of literature from the fields of linguistic relativity, cultural psychology, neurolinguistics, and cross-cultural cognition found that differences in language structure, bilingual experience, and cultural value orientations result in variations in perception, memory, and executive function. Neurocognitive findings indicate that the influence of language and culture is evident down to the level of brain activation. Furthermore, the sociocultural approach emphasizes the role of language as a mediating tool in the process of internalizing values and developing higher-order cognitive abilities. Thus, human cognition is the result of a dynamic interaction between language, culture, and social experience.

Negotiation is a strategic communication process in which multiple parties work to reconcile differences and reach mutually beneficial agreements through the exchange of information, interests, and viewpoints. Although traditional theories emphasize analytical elements such as developing a BATNA, crafting offer–counteroffer strategies, and employing persuasive framing, recent research underscores the growing importance of interpersonal competencies in shaping negotiation success. Through a qualitative literature-based approach, this study explores how empathy, assertive communication, and emotional regulation influence negotiation outcomes, examines their relevance in digital negotiation environments, and proposes an integrated training framework for professionals and entrepreneurs. The findings reveal that empathy strengthens a negotiator’s ability to interpret emotional cues, identify underlying concerns, and build trust, thereby minimizing miscommunication. Assertive communication supports clear expression of interests and boundaries while maintaining respect, which enhances collaborative problem-solving. Emotional regulation promotes composure and cognitive flexibility, particularly in high-pressure interactions. In technology-mediated negotiations conducted via email, messaging platforms, or virtual meetings, these skills must be adapted due to limited physical cues and higher risk of misinterpretation, requiring explicit wording and intentional emotional management. The proposed model incorporates empathy training, assertive communication development, emotional regulation practices, and digital negotiation skills to cultivate adaptive and emotionally intelligent negotiators.
